Connect Galaxy Tab S to other devices via Quick Connect

Use the Quick Connect feature to easily search and connect to nearby devices.

Please note:

• Connection methods may vary depending on the type of connected devices or the shared content
• When connecting to a device that supports the Quick Connect feature, turn on the device’s screen to make it detectable
• When connecting to a device that does not support the Quick Connect feature, ensure that Wi-Fi Direct or the Bluetooth feature is activated

1 Open the notifications panel and tap Quick connect. When the panel opens, the Wi-Fi feature is activated automatically and the devicesearches for nearby devices
2 Select a device to connect to. The next steps may vary depending on the connected device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection between the devices

To allow nearby devices to search for your device and connect to it, tap MORE > Setdevice visibility > Device visibility, and then select an option
1 Open the notifications panel and tap Quick connect. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features are activated automatically
2 Tap Scan for nearby devices. If there is no previously connected device, the device will automatically search for nearbydevices
3 Select a device from the list and connect to it by following the on-screen instructions. The next steps may vary depending on the connected device

To change your device’s visibility setting, tap MORE > Set device visibility, and then selectan option
1 Open the notification panel, swipe downwards on the notification panel, and then tapSearch tablet and scan for nearby devices
2 Tap QUICK CONNECT. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features will be activated and the device will automaticallysearch for nearby devices
3 Select a device from the list and connect to it by following the on-screen instructions. The next steps may vary depending on the connected device
