Bought this tablet as an upgrade from my 2018 tablet. Great bright and crystal clear screen. Resolution looks sharp, great sound with 4 speakers. The storage fills up very quickly with that cache data which you have to mess about clearing often to get rid of space which isn't at all good. I did buy and expandable storage card but the tablet will not use it as the predated storage so you loterlaly have to move each and every app individually to the card. Which isnt really acceptable. But I do like the tablet. Its good but it does have its flaws

Returned to supplier after nothing but a week of problems. The tablet would reboot without warning frequently and kept losing the connection with the Wi-Fi signal in my house (no issue with any other equipment). Do not buy one with just 32G internal storage. It will be full within a day or two and then you cannot load anything onto it unless you delete something to make room! Samsung say you can expand the storage with an SD card but in reality all the apps and software can only be stored on the internal storage.

No wifi issues, not sure why everyone else is having problems. I have 2 APs, one for inside and one for outside. I have never ran into a connectivity issue. I am on Android version 12. Runs all apps without an issue, no delays. Best of all is the 1TB micro-SD capability! This is my reading device and a few games. I have my Nest security devices that I watch as well as personal mail and apps. This fits the bills perfectly instead of the over-priced Apple Tablets.

This tablet is so excruciatingly slow and storage can easily be filled up. Battery can deplete extremely quickly even when turned off. I mostly had pre-installed apps on it and it is still so bad at functioning. It's ironic turning on a tablet for the first time just to watch it take 12 hours for it to close an app or something. It can run some games smoothly but somehow struggles to perform basic animations on the homescreen. It also takes forever to charge with the battery and cable provided in the box. It is ok if you simply want to watch a youtube video or look at some websites. Anything more is off the table because the screen is so dull, colours appear much more desaturated so not ideal for digital art and typing can also be slow. The general look of the tablet is great in my opinion but obviously everything else is a let down.

This is literally the worst "budget" tablet someone can get. If someone's reading this, and is planning to buy it, stay away from it. There are better options out there. It's so slow and laggy it's unbearable to use. I use it for college, opening end editing PDFs, and even for doing that it's slow! Let alone gaming, it can't even handle the UI properly without freezing for a few seconds. And it MUST have some connectivity problem as well because it doesn't look like it can handle 1080p YouTube videos properly without interruptions. The software is One UI core, lighter version of One UI..yeah. The tablet doesn't even run smooth at all, so why even having all the features from One UI on such weak tablet? This is precisely the problem. Too many features on such a limited device make it unusable. And the battery...Not that I have much to say now, but it could definitely be better.

I was excited to buy it but oh my goodness the screen is terrible and the thing lags like crazy. You will not do any multitasking so consider your money obliterated. In a bid to get maximum profit and fragmentation to make everyone included Samsung cut so many corners that its not even worth it to get anything less than the Tab S8. Poor screens and anything below lags. I hate this thing. My smile faded as i saw the muted colors when i put the tab next to my A23. Camera does not focus. Tap to focus does not work ladies and gents. looks awful. I miss the samsung that gave us OLED on the A series phones without having to give a leg or a thumb. Now we can not even get decent screens even on laptops. Something good at the very least. Am dissapointed. Please avoid this dumpster fire. I am salty and am flashing a custom ROM as we speak. Samsung is awful now if you are broke lol. Beautiful Design but god awful when you want to work.

This tablet was great… for 6 months. Now if the battery drops below 65% it gets stuck in a loading screen loop and the only way to use the tablet is to have it plugged in almost permanently. Will be 👀 by for a different brand than runs Android as the only reason I have this over apple is for a single app that is not available on iOS. Not good enough.

I bought this tablet almost a week ago now, and I haven't had any problems with it. It's been absolutely brilliant. I bought the 64GB one from another company, as the specs are better on that one, and the tablet itself is quicker. It does exactly what I need it to do. I mainly use it for studying, reading, watching shows and movies on, and emails.

I don't know why everyone else is having problems i have had mine since late 2022 i have have only had charging port issues and i have dropped it in water multiple times and stil works fine. It is able to handle 1080p and most games the only problem i have is i know its an a series tablet but only got updates to android 14

The worst tablet experience I've had, slow as a dead slug, takes over 5 minutes to boot, apps sluggish to the point I think they're not working, flakey Internet connection.i can only assume its developed a fault, I've tried all the tricks to speed things back up, but it's like using a tablet from the mid 2000s.

This tablet has a good display for watching videos and great sound from the speakers. Mine is the 64GB Tab but that filled up in no time. I added a 128GB memory card but cannot add certain apps the external storage. Overall if your only adding a few apps, I guess this tablet would be absolutely fine.

I can't use this tablet to do the simplest things like watch YouTube or any videos at that because it will never maintain a WiFi connection. I keep getting the connected with no internet. When every other device in the house is working. Not worth the time stress or money.

I can't tell what's slower a snail or this a8 tablet. It feels like it was made in 2001 it's so slow and sluggish it can barely do anything I don't know why people waste their money on this when you can get better for the price the storage as 32 GB is to low

Received brand new on December 25,2024 and as I was playing a game today it suddenly turned off and won’t turn back on I’ve tried all “solutions” and none work. Don’t recommend it save your money and buy a better one.

No I wouldn't recommend I needed dual apps and this tab doesn't support this. If I knew this was the case I wouldn't of got this one. It should of been in description but I didn't see this when buying this item.

Was great for reading law school textbooks and had enough storage for any downloads I needed. Also was a good second screen to help with note taking. I have also dropped it many times and no cracks or issues.

Good screen for watching video. Fast and very easy to use and great sound from the speakers. Also rich sound from my headphone when plugged in. The battery last for over a day. Apps seem to run fine too.

Only problem is that device is stuck on Android 11, while most other samsung devices have Android 12. This device is just over 1 year old, with last update being a security update from May 2022 !!!!!

Great little tablet. I am not a power user so did not want one of the higher end tablets. This does exactly what I need. Apps load fine and the sound is perfect. Links with my S20FE ok.

I use it all the time when i want to play games and draw. Its really good quality and is great. I don't see what everyone's complaining about its really good no problems i love it♡.

Nothing yet. The Quick Start Guide does not evern show you where the on button is, and it is impossible to find a user guide. This will have to be returned!!!!

Very disappointed. The wifi connection is very poor. Searching online, it appears to be a common problem with the device. Not what I expected from Samsung.

First, please disconnect your tablet from the Wi-Fi: From the Home Screen, swipe either up or down to access apps > Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Select the Wi-Fi you are connected to > Forget. Then connect it again: Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Select your Wi-Fi > Connect. Next, please restart your router and disable Power Saving Mode on the tablet: Settings > Device Care > Battery > Disable “Power Saving Mode” and restart the tablet. We are confident this will be very helpful to fix the issue definitively. Good overall performance shame about not having a fingerprint recognition only face recognition which is poor and doesn't work most of the time

Although you are missing this feature, we are pleased that overall you are impressed with the performance of this wonderful tablet. To ensure the facial recognition feature is working at its best, please ensure your tablet is running on the latest software. You can check this in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. We also recommend removing your face from the facial recognition settings and setting it up again, as it may have experienced an issue during the initial set-up.
