At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

The foldable design is so convenient, you cannot see the flit screen ince opened showing 0 crese! Its that smooth. Flipping makes traveling easier as it fits easily into my pocket or handbag while still opening up to a gorgeous ful -sized display. The camera quality is fantastic, the battery easily lasts me through the day and everything runs so smoothly. I also love how customisable it is, especially being able to personalise the cover screen to make it feel unique. It pairs perfectly with my Samsung devices, making everyday tasks so much easier. I had initially decided to skip it because the price is quite steep. However, after using this phone for the past three weeks, my mind has changed because it is so comfortable to use, despite having such a large screen; it is worth every penny. The media consumption on this phone is fantastic, and it has made me use it much more, rather than going to the computer as I used to. The battery life is excellent; it consistently lasts me all day without ever running out, even during heavy use. I have previously used the candy-sized phone, and this new form factor definitely surpasses it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

(このレビューは、プロモーションの一環として収集されました。) iPhone15ProMaxから変更しました。 自分は動画をスマホで観たりはあまりしないのですが、ゲームはそれなりにするので前回は大きい画面のProMaxを購入したのですが、とにかくズボンのポケットからデカすぎてはみ出るのがストレスでした。 椅子に座りながらしまう時に毎回引っ掛かってイライラしますし、無理矢理突っ込もうとしてポケットが破れるなんてしょっちゅうでした。 そんな中折り畳みスマホの存在を知り、iPhoneから折り畳みの噂を知り、次は折り畳みに変えたいと思ってましたが、発表時期が近づくにつれ、縦折りだった噂が横折り濃厚となってきました。 ただでさえバカデカくて邪魔なスマホが、iPhoneのままでは結局横折りの邪魔くさいスマホになるのは嫌でGalaxyに変えようと思いました。 変えた結果、座りながらでも余裕でしまえるようになり、コンパクトすぎてスマホ持ってるっけ？ってなるぐらいになり、非常に快適になりました。 これはダメです。 快適すぎて一度縦折りに変えたら他には戻れません。 Samsungさん、お願いします。 噂では縦折りは8で最後と言われていますが、今後も縦折りは開発していってください。 縦折りが無くなってしまったら、縦折りで快適さを体験してしまった人達はスマホが変えれなくなってしまいます。 本当に今後も横折りだけでなく縦折りも開発をお願いします。 それぐらい軽量でやめれなくなります。

I'm loving this new form factor of phone. While it feels light in my hands and pocket, it has an expandable canvas when you open up. The anti-reflective displays make viewing content even more enjoyable with less glare. The wider form factor simply allows me to read more on a single line and save my eyeballs some up and down motions. Battery life is good too which easily last me a day and with 45W charging, it's juiced up in no time! Camera wise photos are good for daily snapshots and sith ExpertRAW you can capture up to 50MP RAW on either cameras and get photo files that are very editable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading from a Flip to a Fold to last year the Samsung Galaxy Z flip8 is a much welcomed return to functional flip phones - no gimmicks. The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

The 512GB storage is brilliant, the battery lasts me all day, and the display is honestly out of this world. The moment this Fold 8 landed in my hands, it has been a fantastic and fun way for me to use phones again. Smaller form factor for my pockets? Yes please! Being able to open to a bigger screen combination for content consumption? Yes please! Putting the phone in Tent mode on the table while watching stuff? Yes please! Multitask to use the bigger screen and 2 apps side by side to do research for anything under the sun? Yes please! Only con is some apps act weird due to the new format. So certain expectations on app weirdness need to be adjusted accordingly.

I really enjoy the customisability and flexibility when using the phone. Perfect for multi tasking on the go, I easily planned my day to day while travelling and researching places across platforms. The bigger screen is also perfect for really zooming in on products when I’m shopping or when I want an immersive experience when editing photos or watching videos. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the most surprising thing is that it’s really light! i think i would have to get used to how long the display is, and it feels a bit less sturdy than an IPhone, but i really like how compact and small it is. the small outside screen is really cool and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it. The hinge seems sturdy and you cannot see a crease in the screen at all. I thought the crease would be more prominent and i would hope it stays clear over time. Not sure how the battery is, but if it lasts longer than an iphone, that’s great!

On a user side, not many noticeable changes for my day to day use, but I really love the new external screen size; it makes the phone more practical to use, and is more like I was envisioning when the clamshell style was first announced. One difference I wasn’t really expecting is the change in material of the coloured panel at the back. The flip 5 is a glossy glass, while the new flip 8 appears matte. I did have issues with scratching on my previous phone, so I'm hoping this will hold up better.

GalaxyS22Ultraからこちらに買い換え。 画面が大きい、カメラの性能が良いに大満足していたS22Ultraからの変更は少し悩んだが、見た目の可愛さ、持ち運びの際のコンパクトさに惹かれ買い換えを決行。 正直、すごく良い。 持っていて軽いし、開いても閉じていても使える。画面を折りたたんだままでも、QR決済もできるし、ポイントのバーコードも出せる。Netflixなどの動画も観れる。画面は小さいが全然全くもって文句はない。なんなら小さい画面で観る動画ですら可愛く見えてくる。 モンストなどのゲームも全然できる。 正直、買い換えて大正解。忖度なしで。毎日ニヤけるくらいには可愛い。使いやすい。最高。 周りからは折りたためる必要ないと言われたが、折りたためるから良いんじゃないか。 小学生の頃のガラケーから携帯電話を持ち始め、約20年ほど経つが、GalaxyZFlip8。これが1番良い。1番お気に入り。 だが、Ultraを使ってた人には注意がある。外カメのズームは10倍まで！月を撮ろうと100倍にしようとすると、故障か？と思うが、ちがう。でも10倍ズームまでできる！そして画質に文句はない！！つまりは10倍ズームまででも最高！！！ Flip8サイコー！！！！

公式オンラインショップで購入し、発売日前に届きました。Frip7からの乗り換えですが、乗り換えの目的はチップがスナドラになったことと、更なる軽量化です。 基本的には7からの乗り換えは、あまり大きな変化はないものの、順当に進化していっているなと感じます。今年はFold8の裏に話題が隠れていますが、この機種の最大の特徴は、普段使いが一番しやすい点にあります。ミドルレンジの性能をあえて載せず、今回のようにチップをハイエンドスマホと同じようにしているハイエンドコンパクトスマホであることです。唯一無二な点ですし、長期間使用しないと、この部分はわからないところかと思います。 元々それまで14年以上iPhone使用してきましたが、Fripに出会えて本当に良かったと思ってます。UIの優秀さは何より、今回のソフトウェアの更新で念願だったカバー画面でのアプリ追加が即時にできるようになりました。いずれこれはアップデートで7以前の機種にもおりてくるかと思いますが、Android17用に開発された機能なので、動作感はやはりこのFrip8に合ってるものと思われます。 Fripは安定してきて、これ以上の進化はハード面では難しい岐路にあるかと思われますが、開発し続けて欲しいです。

Switching to this phone was easy with smart switch. Battery life is solid. At least one full day of heavy use with music, videos and social media. Even though the camera isn't the highest spec, it still delivers solid photos! Both screens are magnificent and I don't see any issues using them under the sun as the nits are bright enough to counter that. Overall really happy with this phone!

My Galaxy Z Fold8 has been great for making everyday tasks more convenient, especially when I’m multitasking. The larger inner screen gives me much more space to read, reply to messages, browse and work between different apps. I find myself relying less on my laptop or tablet for quick tasks because the Fold8 gives me a bigger screen while still fitting into my bag like a phone. The biggest change is probably how much easier it is to do two things at once. Whether I’m checking information while replying to someone or having a video playing while browsing something else, the larger display makes everything feel less cramped. I’m still discovering all the ways I can use the foldable format, but so far it has made my phone feel much more versatile! Love the colour as well!

iPhoneから機種変してzflipデビューしました！ 見た目はもちろん可愛いし、カバー画面で大体のことができて大満足です。 決済バーコードの表示も画面を開かずカバー画面でできるので外出時の操作がとても楽になりました。 画面の画質もいいし、操作もスムーズにできてサクサク動きます。 Galaxyが初めてでAndroidが使いこなせるか不安だったのですが、困る要素はなかったし、いろいろカスタマイズできて楽しいです。

not just a gimmick shape. i really got to love the z fold 8 the more i used it. everything works out of the box and i really enjoy using 2 apps at once on the unfolded screen. yes it runs more than 2, but i hardly go more than 2. super useful when translation is required with apps like whatsapp. or keeps gemini open in a different window to truly multi task. battery life is decent and lasts me a full day of heavy use. would recommend this to friends who are ready for foldables!

Everything is convenient, comfortable and so customisable. There are just so many features and benefits of this form factor. Just from quickly changing my music or making payments. Each time I use my phone I can feel the envy from others around me. Especially when I show off that the cover screen while taking photos and they can see themselves.

Over the past week, I’ve found myself using the Galaxy Z Fold8 much more for reading eBooks than I ever did on my previous phone. The larger square-shaped inner display makes reading feel more like using a small tablet, so there’s less scrolling and the text is more comfortable to read. I also set up an automation to automatically enable Greyscale and Eye Comfort Shield (warm tones) whenever I open my eBook app. Combined with the Fold8’s anti-reflective display, it makes reading much easier on my eyes, especially during longer reading sessions or when I’m outdoors. On my previous iPhone Air, I usually read on the smaller screen and had to manually adjust the display settings, so the overall experience wasn’t as comfortable. The Fold8 has genuinely made reading one of the things I look forward to every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aesthetically pleasing phone and very functional - quick and responsive phone that can do everything you need - take your own selfies and keep the phone folded or open into a 6.9” full phone. 1tb storage upgrade would be great but maybe next year - 512gb will have to do for now. With a colour selection that is good I’ll stick to graphite. Battery life is excellent ! The fold seems very stable and opening the phone 100 times a day for five years is said not to damage the phone.

The front screen that you can see when the phone is folded means you don't have to unfold the phone to access various apps and messages. This is super convenient. I'm still relatively new with the phone and I'm discovering really cool features every couple of days. Would recommend.

The phone is such a joy to use even after 1.5 months. I enjoy social media on the smaller screen, but when I really wanna be immersed in what I'm watching or shopping, I open it up to the bigger screen and I no longer feel like I have to move over to my laptop to "have a better look". I also really enjoy being able to multi task on the go - especially useful when planning a trip or having to plan or work on the go. I'm also really enjoying the customisability, incorporating more of the AI features in my day to day. I was also an apple user but decided to make the switch, and I have to say, the switch was so easy and seamless. Everything ported over - EVERYTHING. Highly recommend!

(このレビューは、プロモーションの一環として収集されました。) 今回初めて折りたたみスマホを使ってみました。 今まではS24Ultraを利用していて、 性能やカメラの品質には十分すぎる性能で満足してたけど、 やっぱり重さと大きさが一番のネックポイントだったんだよね。 でも今回ZFlip8に変更してみて一番に感じることは何と言ってもコンパクト！！！ よくポケットにスマホを入れることが多かったりスマホだけで持ち歩くことも多かったから、こんなにコンパクトならめっちゃ持ち運びがしやすいから超便利！！ あと初めてサブディスプレイが利用できるようになったからわざわざアプリを開かなくてもボタン長押しでさっとバーコード決済ができるからまじで感動 😭 ただ指紋認証が電源ボタンの位置にあってまだ不慣れなところとUltraに比べて動きが少し鈍かったり画面遷移が遅かったりするのは残念かな。ここは次回の製品に期待したいところ。 まだまだ使い慣れてな いところもあるけどこれからより便利に使っていきます 👊 ✨ 何かおすすめの機能や設定があればぜひ教えて欲しいです！！折りたたみスマホの先輩方よろしくお願いします 😃

I’ve been waiting for a foldable that doesn't feel super heavy in my pocket, and the Fold 8 finally nails it. The weight difference is incredibly noticeable right out of the box. As an accountant, being able to open up balance sheets and review financial reports on the go without squinting at a tiny screen is a massive time saver. The screen is also impressively bright even when I'm walking outside. The hinge feels sturdy, and jumping between apps is totally seamless.

Its foldable design makes it compact in your pocket, while the 6.9-inch main display is bright, smooth and great for watching videos or scrolling. Performance is also excellent, and the 4,300mAh battery is a noticeable improvement for everyday use. (Samsung it) However, it isn’t perfect. The cameras are good, but the ultra-wide camera isn’t as strong as what you’d get on Samsung’s top non-folding phones. The biggest issue is probably the price, especially because the upgrades over the Z Flip 7 aren’t huge. (Popular Mechanics) Overall, I’d recommend the Z Flip 8 to someone who really wants a stylish, compact foldable. But if you already own a recent Z Flip, upgrading probably isn’t necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first flip phone and I'm really impressed and happy that I traded in my S24 to get it. The ease of use, the way it snugly fits in both my hand and pocket is a real pleasure added to this, It's weight is minimal. I like the two taps to wake it up while folded, and the way it opens up to a 6.9 onch screen. The sharp display and zoom functions of the camera I also find impressive. The extra security features and responsive screen, the ability to add extra memory for more intense app usage are great functions to have too. The hinge mechanism on my Galaxy Z flip 8 also feels durable and well constructed. The battery lasts me a full day at moderate usage and charges at 25w, which is fine for my usage. There are still more features for me to discover over the coming days and yet this phone is now my new favorite device.

The Galaxy Z Fold exceeded my expectations. Folded up, it is surprisingly compact, lightweight, and easy to hold one-handed in daily use. Unfolded, the large inner screen is incredible for side-by-side multitasking during work and watching shows on Netflix. My only minor issue is audio separation in landscape mode due to speaker placement, but the sheer screen real estate and overall versatility easily make up for it. Highly recommended for power users!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Flip8 from the Flip3 and I must say, the experience is worth it. The 8 is lighter, wider, crisper and has a much more seamless folding bezel with a satisfying, audible and soft close. Aside from the obvious benefits to upgrading from an older generation (battery life, bigger and better quality display), the flip8 feels like a more thought-out, premium device, as the hardware no longer has the tempered glass that made the flip3 feel slippery and fragile, and has a vastly improved IP rating of IP48, where the 3's IPX8 rating meant the screen is now lost to peeling from the protective film and scratches. The fold crease is also much more subtle. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice, and look forward to properly saying goodbye to the 3 once retailers start selling Flip8 cases and the screen protector comes back in stock!

Flip4から約4年ぶりの機種変。ガラケーからスマホになってずっとGalaxyなのでGalaxy特有の使いにくさ、みたいなのは分かりません。 初めてのSIMフリー端末です。キャリア特有のアプリが入っていないことが快適です。 Flip4と比べるとかなり薄くなり、画面も大きくなりました。Flip4の前はNote10＋でしたが比較すると縦がほぼNote10＋と同じでした。 そして便利なカバーディスプレイが最高です。 開かずに色々済ませられるのは便利です。 Flip4は指を滑り込ませられる隙間がありましたが、Flip8はなく、開くにも基本的に両手なので、カバーディスプレイは片手しか空いてない時に大変便利です。 Flip4はマグセーフのケースだといちいちケースを外さないとクレジットカードタッチ決済できませんでしたが、Flip8はうまく当てればケース外さずに決済できます。（多少ケースによ って違いはあると思います） 画質は良くなった印象はないです。 またFlip4に比べると画面がギラギラしなくなった（？）のでちょっと見にくかったのですが、使い続けると慣れました。 懸念点は、Flip4同様にすぐ画面が凹むのではないか、ということです。ヒンジのところではありません。 以前Flip4の時に画面シートが凹んだのかと思って画面シート交換に行ったところ、本体の画面が凹んでいると言われました。折り曲げられる画面なので、画面がかなり柔らかく、少しぶつかっただけで凹むそうです。もちろん使用には問題なかったので良いのですが、Flip8に機種変して1週間。かなり丁寧に扱っていたのに凹みを発見…画面シートだけが凹んでいるのなら良いのですが、見た感じ画面も凹んでそうです。 Flip4の時はヒンジ関連で何回か修理しているので、Flip8も何回か修理することになるんだろうなと思います。ヒンジから落としたらアウトです。 そんなリスクが多い端末ですが、コンパクトさがやはり最高です。折りたためないスマホに戻れません。

Flip5からの乗り換えです。 バッテリーの持ちがよくなって嬉しいです。 今まではなんだかんだ開いて操作していましたが今はほぼ閉じたままで全てが完了するのでそこがすごく気に入っています! ただ、カバー画面のホームボタンを押してもカバー画面の待ち受け画面にならなくなってしまったのが残念です それにより、ショルダーストラップをした状態で画面ロック解除になっていると知らないうちにアプリボタンが押されて起動していることがあるのでアプリ使ったあとは電源ボタンで画面暗くしておかないといけなくなったのが若干面倒にはなりました ただ、全体的にはすごく気に入っています

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new flip 8. I previously had the flip 7 and have had a flip since the flip 3 . The flip 8 is thinner , lighter and has more options on the cover screen than the flip 7. I find that the crease is even less noticiable and the hinge seems nice and tight. The display is crisp and i love the AI wallpaper options as i can just describe the pic i want and it appears! I am sure i will find more things i love about this phone. The main reason i love a samsung flip phone is because you can easily slip it in a pocket or a small handbag. I have only had it for two days so cant really say much about the durability of this particular model but having had 3 previous models i can say that i usually upgrade after 2 years( though i only had the flip 7 for a year ) my phones are always still in great condition and working perfectly well after 2 years.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
