The Ultimate SSD

* Стандарт PCI-SIG®D8: 8.8 мм

* Стандарт PCI-SIG®D8: 8.8 мм

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung 990 PRO with Heatsink 1TB SSD Review The Samsung 990 PRO 1TB SSD with heatsink is an excellent choice for anyone looking for fast storage and reliable performance. It offers incredibly fast loading times, quick file transfers, and smooth performance for gaming and everyday use. The included heatsink helps manage temperatures during demanding tasks, making it a great option for a gaming PC or a compatible PS5. Installation is straightforward, and the 1TB of storage provides plenty of space for games, applications, and files. Overall, it's a high-quality SSD that delivers excellent speed and performance, although it can be more expensive than some alternatives. I would recommend it to gamers and PC enthusiasts who want fast, dependable storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great upgrade for my PS5. Installation was easy, and the pre-attached heatsink fit the console's M.2 slot with no issues. The PS5 recognized it right away, and it passed the storage speed check with no problem. Load times are noticeably faster, and game installs and transfers go quickly. Thermals are solid, and I haven't seen slowdowns even during long play sessions. Performance is consistent, and Samsung's endurance rating gives me confidence it will last. Highly recommend for anyone expanding PS5 storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the 1TB 990 PRO with heatsink for about 8 months and it’s been great. So far the drive shows great health and endurance. Compatibility has been excellent, latency is very low, and throughput is extremely fast. The heatsink keeps thermals under control. My only complaint is the 1TB capacity fills up faster than expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung 990 PRO 2TB with Heatsink to expand the storage on my PlayStation 5, and it’s been a great upgrade. Installation was super easy and straightforward, and I was up and running in no time. The extra 2TB of storage gives me plenty of room for more games without constantly having to delete and reinstall them. So far, everything has worked exactly as expected with no issues or complaints on my end. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an easy way to expand your PS5 storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice option to pick for the price. Cooling works as I've never gotten any slow downs in speed so far. I also use it as my boot drive and it would always get me booted to the home screen in a second or less. Loads demanding games quite well. One thing is that it took mr 3 months to find out that there was software for the ssd that I could use to customize the led on the heat sink and make sure my ssd is up to date.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 990 PRO with Heatsink PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (4TB) is one of the best upgrades I've made to my computer. It delivers incredibly fast boot times, quick application launches, and lightning-fast file transfers, making everything feel smoother and more responsive. The 4TB capacity provides plenty of space for games, software, videos, and important files without worrying about running out of storage. The built-in heatsink does an excellent job of keeping temperatures under control, even during gaming or other demanding tasks, ensuring consistent performance. I also appreciate Samsung Magician software, which makes it easy to monitor drive health and keep everything running at its best. Overall, the Samsung 990 PRO combines exceptional speed, reliable performance, effective cooling, and massive storage capacity in one premium SSD. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance upgrade.

Only complaints are that there is less support for the amd platfrom and the heatsink has an untoggleable red led which is a nuisance for me but may not matter to others. As far as thermals, this one comes with its own heatsink but id rather have one than not, its got a very strong style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 990 PRO is ridiculously fast. With read speeds hitting 7,450 MB/s and writes up to 6,900 MB/s, it chews through big files like they’re nothing. Whether you’re loading massive games or editing 4K video, you’ll notice the difference right away. The built‑in heatsink isn’t just for looks — it keeps temps under control during long gaming sessions or heavy rendering. No sudden slowdowns, no thermal throttling. Just smooth, consistent performance. 4TB is a sweet spot. It’s enough space for a huge Steam library, tons of raw video footage, or whatever creative projects you’re working on. You won’t be juggling external drives or constantly deleting files to make room. Samsung has a solid track record with SSDs, and this one’s built to last. Error correction and wear‑leveling tech help keep it running strong for years, so you can trust it with important projects.This drive shines in high‑demand setups:Gamers get lightning‑fast load times.Creators can handle 4K/8K editing without hiccups.Professionals get reliable speed for data‑heavy work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using the 2TB 990 PRO with the heatsink installed, I’ve spent a lot of time recently tweaking my settings and hardware to get the smoothest experience possible for my games, and swapping to the Samsung 990 PRO was the best decision I’ve made for my rig. The difference in load times is honestly night and day—I’m getting into matches faster than ever, and I’ve had zero issues with stuttering or lag, even during long gaming sessions. I was also really impressed by how well it handles heat; my system stays stable and cool even when I’m pushing it hard. It’s been rock-solid reliable, which is exactly what I need!! If you're on the fence about upgrading your storage, DO IT!!. It’s a game-changer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Consistency When I first started using the 990 Pro, what I noticed was how stable it felt over time. I moved large game files, edited videos, and copied backups, and the speed didn’t randomly drop in a way I’ve seen with older SSDs. It just felt predictable, which made me trust it more for daily work. Efficiency What surprised me was how little it seemed to “struggle” under load. I could download, unzip, and run apps at the same time without feeling like the system was slowing down. It made my PC feel more responsive overall, especially when multitasking heavy tasks. Latency Opening games and large applications felt almost instant. I didn’t sit there waiting for loading screens like I used to with older SSDs. Even small actions like searching through files or launching editing software felt snappier, like the system was reacting immediately to what I clicked. Thermals I was a bit worried about heat at first, especially during long file transfers. In real use, it does warm up under heavy loads, but it never felt like it was throttling in a way I could notice. With decent airflow, it stayed controlled and stable. Throughput This is where I felt the biggest improvement. Large file transfers, especially moving game installs or editing 4K video files, were extremely fast. What used to take several minutes now felt cut down significantly, and I found myself finishing tasks faster than expected without waiting around. Overall experience Using the Samsung 990 Pro made my system feel less like individual parts working together and more like everything was unified and fast. It didn’t just improve benchmarks for me, it changed how I interact with my PC because I stopped thinking about storage delays altogether.

All and all, it's really good for running an OS and probably amazing for large projects as well, but I'll never know since I don't want them conflicting with Windows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded to this 4TB model for video editing and the difference is night and day. Its M.2 2280 form factor offers perfect compatibility with my motherboard setup. The 2,400 TBW endurance rating gives me great peace of mind for heavy workloads. It handles large file transfers and 4K scrubbing with ultra-low latency. The integrated heatsink provides excellent thermals, keeping temperatures low during intense rendering. The massive throughput speeds mean I get maximum PCle 4.0 performance. Plus, the Samsung Magician software makes it easy to monitor drive health and keep the firmware updated. It's a premium investment, but worth every penny for the reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one a long time ago and still have. I love having a ton of space especially when I play many games and mod some of them too. I do have another one and it just seems like a relief without having to worry about low storage. Plus, the heatsink is great because I don't have to worry about any heat frying it at some times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great SSD but lacks in overall read/write speeds. Samsung magician bench tests show speeds of 7600mbps on both read and write but true tests show much less. The ssd wouldnt hit anything over 700mbps. I love samsung products but for the price I paid, I am very disappointed. It stays around 44c under load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked up SSD for my PS5 and it's been flawless. Speeds are exactly as advertised. Fast boot times, quick file transfers, and zero slowdown during gaming and file transfers. The integrated heat sink does its job well. Installation was simple and quick. Fits perfectly under the consoles side panel.
