Model Number: Samsung SSD 990 PRO with Heatsink 4TB Serial Number: S7DSNJ0WA12327H Firmware Version: 0B2QJXG7 Проработал с ноября 2024 до апреля 2025. Было занято около 400 GB (vdi диски виртуальных машин). Нагрузка минимальная. Установлен в сервере на площадке, через переходник. 29 марта 2025 моментально выросла температура до 84 градуса, отключился вместе с системой. Через время удалось подключить, данные остались. Сейчас использую под быстрые бекапы. Не рекомендую для продакшена. На серевере стоит мониторинг munin. Доказательства есть.

I went for the 4tb because didn't know if I was gonna run out of space so I went for it. Love the amount of space, very nice and seems to do it's job very nicely. I have two of these however many years ago and they are still working nicely. Fantastic piece for an SSD.

I have had no issues nor problems with this SSD drive. The boot times has been faster (with some tinkering) than the normal HDD I had been accustomed to using. No overheating issues with long usage and no latency as well. In time, I may but this same drive in a larger capacity and use this current SSD as a secondary drive.

I switched my Kingston out for this as it ran better so it is my main memory. Throughput is excellent I have filled it up, move data to a different storage and this thing 100 times and it's still going just as strong as it did when I first bought it. I have used it in my laptop and now it is my main and my desktop. So great compatibility with different machines.

Only complaints are that there is less support for the amd platfrom and the heatsink has an untoggleable red led which is a nuisance for me but may not matter to others. Samsung magician bench tests show speeds of 7600mbps on both read and write but true tests show much less. The ssd wouldnt hit anything over 700mbps. I love samsung products but for the price I paid, I am very disappointed. It stays around 44c under load.

Make sure to install latest edition of samsung magician to benchmark and test this drive. Magician keeps it updated and running smoothly and efficiently. This ssd has great speed and works flawlessly for heavy programs and games. And with 4tb storage, you can save all of the games that you'll probably only play once or even forget you have on your conputer. I have 2 of this 4tb and one of 980 pro and my PC is running smoothly and the ssd stays cool with all programs and games. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, it's a samsung SSD. Yes you pay a hefty price, but along with that price, you get a lot of great things. Top notch performance you'd expect from a high end storage device. Able to store a lot of games (not all, but quite a few) and load them at speeds faster than anything else out there. Haven't had issues with it. Just make sure you download and run the magician software to update the firmware at least once and you're good to go.
