    After installation of the T-GFP9DEUC firmware update (the TV did it automatically) - the Voice control of channel selection doesnt recognise anything I tell it. Is it possible to revert firmware updates?

    Hi, I'm afraid that you cannot downgrade firmware. Have you downloaded the latest firmware? The firmware for the HU8500 is 1151.7. Please check out this link on how to do this http://skp.samsungcsportal.com/integrated/popup/FaqDetailPopup3.jsp?cdsite=uk&seq=1052606. You could also try resetting the Smart Hub. You can do this by; Pressing Menu> Smart Hub> Smart Hub reset. Hope this helps.

    Hi, I am really interested in purchasing one of the new curved 4K TVs but are there plans to bring them out on a swivel stand please? If Samsung made one I would be happy to purchase it as an accessory. The problem I have is the set is too far away from a wall to be mounted on an arm but I would like to swivel it occasionally from side to side depending upon where we are in the room. Thanks

    Hi, This TV can be wall mounted and so while we may not offer something that does exactly what you want currently, there maybe something on the market elsewhere, that you could purchase. Hope this helps.

    Screen Mirroring

    I have a UE55HU8500 and Im trying to screen mirror with my Sony Z2, The TV is connected to my network via a lan cable and the phone via WIFI, I can successfully connect and get sound but there are constant pauses in connection output i.e. sound or video. Is this because the TV is connected via LAN and not wireless?

    Hi, The TV being connected via LAN will not affect this feature. The screen mirroring feature is a wireless connection between the TV and the customers smartphone. Please make sure that the firmware is up to date on both devices. Hope this helps.

    Hi. I recommend updating the application. Please see page 165 of the link below: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201404/20140403131029856/[ENG]NUDVBEUH-1.104-0402.pdf If this is unsuccessful then please reset the Samsung Hub. You can find the information on how to do this on page 62 of the link above. I hope this helps.

    My 51" Plasma TV does not find any files on the USB drive recorded on the 32" Smart TV UE32H6400. Is there a download to enable the recorded files to be read?

    Hi Pete, When you record on to a usb or hard drive it is formatted to that particular tv and cannot be used on another. Thanks.

    After firmware upgrade ue55hu8500, voice recognition is broken. It understands when I ask standard commands, but cannot understand when I ask for BBC News, or channel 101. It used to work pre-firmware update. Firmware broke it. Can I regress firmware, or do I throw voice recognition in the bin - its pointless as it is,

    Hi Iain, You cannot downgrade firmware. Have you tried resetting your smart hub? You can do this by; Pressing Menu> Smart features> Reset Smart Hub. Hope this helps.

    My 55HU8500 says the firmware is 1150 but the Samsung website lists 1014 as the version released just a couple of days ago?

    Hi, The firmware that has been released on the 08/08/14 is 1151.7. You can see this by; Right clicking on Upgrade File (USB type) and then selecting properties. Hope this helps.

    Reset the smart hub, didnt help. Went in to the setting and disabled the adult content filter. Set up universal remote again and the problem has gone. I can watch a movie on streaming and then go back to stb source and everything works like it used to

    I already have a wall mount that was previously installed for our Philips 50 inch plasma, hence all i require are the screws that meet the VESA standard screw specifications for a UE55HU8500 TV but i am having a hard time locating said screws. Popular DIY stores stock similar products which have to be cut down in length and do not meet the VESA criteria. Please could you provide me with stockists of this product? Thank you.
