[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quicker drying time than anticipated. Nothing has taken 3 hours plus; in fact, it usually takes about 1hr 30 mins. My old dryer was an old B rated dryer and could take an hour. This is A+++ rated, so a lot more energy efficient. Very quiet to run and looks well. What I also love about this machine is that my utility room does not get warm and moist when using it. With my old dyer we used to have to keep the utility room door open so that the room wouldn't get damp. It was a lot louder, so I hated having the door open. With this machine we can keep the door closed and the room is absolutely fine. I am delighted with the purchase.

I received this machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. I was impressed with the fact that the machine leads you through a user guide when it is first powered on. At first the choice of programmes was confusing but was quickly reduced to three or four favourites. The drying programmes are quite a lot longer than previous tumble dryers but I understand that is better for the environment. There is a Quick dry programme for very light loads. Emptying the condensed water drawer is quick and easy, so is cleaning the fluff filter. So far it seems to be a good choice of tumble dryer.

The energy use for this dryer is very low, it means it takes longer to dry but the large capacity allows you to dry more items in a load. It annoys me as it tangles bedding so much. I can’t leave it an entire cycle & come back to perfectly dry washing as I have to pause and unroll several times. I wish it did a proper reverse like my old machine. Cleaning the heat exchanger is a real pain to do. It’s almost impossible to clean fins without damaging and I find it difficult to kneel and bend down due to health condition. Would be better if it came out for washing through to remove fluff.

I only received the tumble dryer on Sunday 19th Sept so have not used all of the available programmes as yet. So far I have found that lighter loads dry quickly and other programmes take around 2 - 3 hours which is similar to my old condenser dryer. The programmes were self explanatory so no need for a manual. The only thing that I have found is that the water reservoir fills up quickly and needs emptied but I am aware that I need to connect the drainage hose which we have not had the time to do so far. The dryer is very quiet and you actually forget that it is on, also looks stylish

Got both dryer and washer — got them pulled out/repaired almost twice within warranty. That’s how low samsung models in terms of quality. Heater — in less than 2 years of usage (rarely for kid’s clothes only) this most expensive part has to be changed. When pulled out, we found out the repair person changed some original parts of our unit and changed to old parts maybe also taken from other broken units. That’s how we found out we could not trust samsung to cover any warranty and have the units pulled out. Might as well ask the repair man to do it at home in front of ua watching.

Heat exchanger needs cleaning always, at least once a week, and the way that this heat exchanger designed and it's location is hard to clean and hard to find a tool to clean it.

 I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. I am delighted that this machine performs significantly better than my previous tumble dryer. It dries my laundry perfectly and can be programmed to intermittently rotate at the end of the cycle in order to prevent clothes becoming creased if you cannot empty it immediately. There are a number of different programmes to try and the smart app is useful as it can automatically select the correct drying programme depending on the wash programme used. It is a really quiet machine, has easy to clean filters and an effective water collection receptacle. I am looking forward to trying some of the lesser used programmes to see how well they perform.

I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. We received this a week ago and have used on many occassions. This dryer produces a lot less condensation compared to our old condenser dryer, now we do not need to use a extractor fan. It appears to be a lot more energy effiecient when monitoring our smart meter. The dryer has sensors which detect if clothes are dry and adjusts the time automatically if needed. The smart app lets you know track how long left and provides notifications on completion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. Only used it a few times but so far very impressed. The large door makes loading and unloading easy and the internal light is a nice touch. At present the water outlet is not plumbed in but emptying the water tank is so easy we may continue to run this way. This drier is much better than our old drier and as this one is condensing, we can do away with the extraction system. Many of the items came out ready to be put away without the need for ironing. Soft fabric rather than cardboard! There is a program for virtually all types of clothing and some useful features such as 'silent dry', 'warm air' and 'cold air'. Due to the results we have seen we will use the drier more than we ever used our old drier.

The main concern of Which was the time to dry, in reality, this is not an issue and the performance is great. The power draw is very low and the tumble dryer is less costly to run than my washing machine. The smart features are better than expected, how smart does a dryer really need to be, but monitoring energy usage is useful in this day and age as it highlights how efficient it is allowing us to make decisions on how much to use it.

great difficulty finding an online manual as a short version came with the machine. Poor instructions on how to change the door there were confusing descriptions of parts and incomplete and incorrect instructions relating to changing the door to the opposite opening. Its the small things that make all the diffrerence. Why does Samsung not do a video on the instructions of how to use and how to change the door over it would make it a 5 star product if they did this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this dryer. It matches the washing machine, which is also from the series 5+ range. The dryer is very simple to use, you can either use the dial in the machine or you can use the app to select the cycle with the laundry recipe. A brilliant feature is it communicates with the wash cycle on the washing machine and will then recommend the drying cycle from this. Basically the washing machine and dryer talk to each other. The drum has a diamond design, so this keeps the clothing from getting caught/damaged on the drum and there is even a rack for if you'd like to dry trainers, so no noisy clunking with trainers going around. There is even a light in the drum to make sure you get everything out. It's also an extremely quiet machine. Especially compared to our old on. It's night and day and at most is a gentle hum that you don't notice.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes and we are really happy with it. It is quiet, looks good and leaves clothes feeling really soft. The SmartThings app makes selecting options simple and I now use it all the time to select the cycle to use. I also like the fact that it suggests a setting based on the previous wash performed by my Samsung washing machine. The 'recipe' function in the app is very useful; you select which items are in the load and it suggests a cycle to use accordingly. Most importantly, it leaves clothes feeling really lovely and soft, more so than my previous dryer. It also doesn't blow out warm air like my old condenser did and the filter, which is realyl easy to clean, seems to pick up a lot more fluff. After a couple of weeks of daily use I haven't had any issues and overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dryer.

Previously I have reluctant to use tumble dryer due to the cost and shrinkage some items of clothing. However, this machine has totally changed my opinion. I have used this dryer on an almost daily basis since I received it and have no complaints about it. There are a wide variety of programmes to suit all types of washing. Not only are they geared to the type of the material but also the weight of the load. This means the clothes come out of the machine dry taking the guesswork out of how long the dryer should be set for. If you do wish a specific time there is a programme available to do this. The clothes are dried at a cool temperature which ensures they do not shrink. Though the drying time is longer than other machines I have used it is very economical to run. This was confirmed using an energy monitor. Very happy with this tumble dryer.

I have just had this item to replace a faulty Bosch air pump dryer - what a difference! Soo much quieter and just feels a much better piece of kit.Results are so much better - actually fully dry straight away unlike the Bosch Took a while to connect to WiFi but excellent once you succeed . Don’t hesitate- get one !

I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. Being the nerd that I am, the first thing I did was, obviously, to compare the energy consumption with our old dryer. This showed a 75% drop, drying two bath sheets and numerous hand towels and face cloths for around 5 pence. Result!! The different programmes are easy to understand. You dial in what you want to dry and it will show a weight limit and the estimated drying time. With the moisture monitoring system it automatically adjusts the time needed to dry your clothes as the programme runs. With it running for longer at a lower heat, there is no danger of things shrinking and everything seems easier to iron straight out the drum. All this and the towels come out fantastically soft and fluffy too. An all round, absolute winner!

Between perfect drying times to consistent drying after having this machine for 6 months I cannot fault it. Cleaning the heat exchanger is about once a month and is so easy to do. I don’t use all of the settings but hopefully will in the future

I've been using this machine for two months. The double filter is twice as difficult to clean. The dryer turns in one direction only, tangles up the clothes and bedding, wrinkle free program or not. I'm not satisfied at all.

I received this Tumble Dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. Installation was very simple. First impressions were good, the machine is aesthetically pleasing and feels solid and well built. We had a minor issue with the visibility of the control markings in the lighting conditions of our room. The gold on grey markings are difficult to see from a standing position. Fortunately there are Braille and tactile guides so we got used to finding the controls quickly. It is remarkably quiet compared to any tumble dryer we have previously owned. The condenser action is far more convenient than having to wrestle a vent hose out of a window as we did before. The filter is well designed and very effective. The machine prompts you to clean the filter (if you forget) and the heat exchanger when needed. The machine "learns" which drying programmes are used most often and can offer them as first options to save time. The drying programmes are significantly longer than previous machines but they are far more efficient which is much better for energy costs and environmental impact. The Smart Home features of the machine were easy to set up, and do provide useful information, but we have not yet explored them all. Two features which are particularly appreciated in our household are; 1) The internally illuminated drum 2) The reversible door to facilitate transfer of laundry from the washing machine to the tumble dryer. In summary; A satisfactory and very efficient machine.

I received this tumble drier from Samsung for product testing purposes. I owned a Samsung tumble drier prior to this and was not convinced I would buy another Samsung. However, this model is extremely quiet and the clothes come out dry (My previous Samsung drier would complete its cycle and the clothes would still be damp). As it is a heat pump model once you load it, shut the door, and leave it finish its cycle. If you keep opening the door it looses its heat and takes time to build it up again. The cycles take longer but are more efficient. The new filter arrangement is far better than previous. The old-style door filter and heat exchanger filter have changed to a cleverly designed double door filter with no heat exchanger filter. Filter cleaning is now much quicker and less messy. The inclusion of a long-handled brush to clean the fins of the heat exchanger is fab, no more bent over or blocked fins. There several programmes for all manner of washed items and a mixed item programme should find yourself stuck for one. There is a 35-minute quick dry, but only for up to a 1kg load. I have not used it yet, but I can imagine extremely useful for getting a shirt or blouse dry. The drier does learn your drying habits and offers these cycles first, which is great not having to scroll through several options. If you have a compatible Samsung washing machine, there is a great feature where the washing machine will send the washing cycle it has just used, to the drier, to set the correct drying cycle and it works well. No setting the programme up, just load and press start on the drier. The machine connected to the WiFi after a couple of attempts and I have had to remove it from the SmartThings app and re-connect a couple of times too. That said, it does appear to be working well now. The smart phone connectivity using Samsung’s SmartThings is self-explanatory and after a couple of goes becomes easy to use. The ‘time left’ feature on the phone app is useful, as you are notified when the cycle has finished. If you have a compatible television, a message that the drier has finished will pop up, which is great as the finished load does not sit in the drier until you finally remember you put a load on, hours ago! There is an anti-wrinkle option, if you know you are not going to be at home to unload it straight away.
