The fridge works well and is a good purchase for its price. The loud sound is a reality, and I bought it anyway despite reading about it on other reviews, because the fridge does not sit in a shared space. In my case, the loud engine only turns on in specific times, generally for no more than 20 minutes or so. It does go for longer periods if the fridge is opened constantly and if it is warmer. So, not totally disconcerting for me, but could become a problem depending on where the fridge will be, how sensitive to sounds the owner is, and how many people will share the fridge.

Replacing my 10 year old white Kelvinator, very happy with this new Samsung. For a similar sized fridge to my old one, it seems to fit so much more with the design. Door does not need to be fully open to get the drawers open, which is perfect for my kitchen setup. The fridge is quiet, chills well and I like the freezer drawers making it easy to get items out without having to bend down and reach into shelving. I don't understand why companies put hard-to-remove stickers on fridges and other goods, so annoying to peel the energy rating sticker off and remove the residue!

I bought it 3 weeks ago. Looks great but my goodness it’s noisy. I’ve turned it off today just to get some peace and quiet. It’s advertised as being quiet but if this is quiet I’d hate to know what noisy is. It’s much noisier than the 15 year old Kelvinator we replaced it with.

I bought this about a year ago. I like it a lot. I use the fridge most, so it's nice to have that at eye level instead of the freezer. The freezer drawers make it much easier to find stuff. The freezer never ices over nor do the drawers seize shut. I don't want an ice maker, it's cold enough where I am, so I appreciate the extra freezer space by not having one built in. Nice bonus, I notice the savings on my power bill compared to my old fridge.

I brought this fridge during the most recent lockdown. Wonderful fridge, clean and keeps beer chilled nicely. Only two comments on it, sound is not as quiet as I thought it would be, its not loud its more an irritating sound due to it being slightly high pitched. Also veg bin did well for the first few days then even though I didn't touch the temperatures it started slightly freezing produce. Not a worry though.

NO ALARM. Very frustrating as I couldn't find this information listed anywhere. Even when I called Samsung they send out fridge specialist to try fix under warranty, and this is something the call centre should have information access to before sending out repair teams to repair something that isn't installed on a product. Hoping I don't get billed for this.

I bought this fridge a few years ago, it certainly looks the same, can't find the model number, bought it because the size was what I wanted but the freezer keeps freezing water on the bottom so unable to take out bottom drawer until I defrost it. This day and age that is unusual. My husband has celiac disease so this contains his products. I'm sick of it.

Nice fridge, seems to work very well. couple of little things; Sometimes has a very high pitched noise, I can just about hear it but my kids really notice it. Doors don't self close very easily, make sure the fridge is on a lean. Be careful if you want to remove the energy efficiency label, I scratched the door surface as it is very hard to remove.

While it looks stylish there is a very loud buzzing noise. The noise is unbearable. The model I got came with the compressor bay open, I'm not sure if this is the cause since there was no covering to stop the sounds getting out but it was really not good. If you want it go in store and check what the noise is like before buying.

This fridge needs to come with a disclaimer about its running noises. Usually I don’t mind humming from a fridge because at least you know it’s working. But this one comes with water dripping sounds. Like an infuriating leaky faucet sound. Like the fridge is taking a leak or something

We purchased this fridge as the 'drinks fridge' for family events. It's small enough to tuck away in the laundry, and large enough to hold enough drinks to keep the entire family happy! The freezer space is two drawers, which provide a decent amount of space for freezing leftovers.
