J'ai acheté ce PC il y a un peu plus d'un mois, au début, j'étais très content, du design de la qualité... puis, j'ai commencé à observer des pertes de puissance. Cela a commencé par des bugs lors de lecture vidéo sur des plates-formes de streaming, puis sur des traitement de texte. Une semaine après, après une utilisation normale du PC, en le refermant, j'ai entendu un bruit aigu. Je me suis empressé de rouvrir le PC pensant que quelque chose avait obstrué, et j'ai constaté qu'aucun débris ou petit caillou n'était présente entre le clavier et l'écran. J'ai quand même vérifié l'intégrité de l'écran avec mon flash, et c'est à ce moment-là que j'ai découvert une felure de plus de dix centimètres. En regardant les différents avis sur ce PC, j’ai constaté que d’autre personne avait eu le même type de problème de qualité. Je suis vraiment déçu de la qualité globale du PC. Je ne comprends pas cette dernière, en effet je possède tout l'écosystème samsung et je n'avais jamais été déçu à ce point auparavant.

Au bout de moins d'une semaine, il m'a fallu réinitialiser Windows. Le système Samsung correspondant ne fonctionne pas. Les mises à jour Windows sont impossibles. L'IA de Samsung est inexistante. Aucune plus-value sur ce produit qui justifie un prix supérieur à la concurrence.

Apres plusieurs mois d'utilisation , rien a redire sur l'autonomie de l'appareil mais cela est au détriments des performances. Pour mon utilisation , machine virtuelle , les performances sont très limitées et fait souvent planter la machine (pourtant je n'utilise que 2 machines virtuelles en même temps puisque plus c'est le décès de la machine). Je pensais qu'avec cette configuration j'aurai pu m'en servir dans mon milieu professionnel (surtout pour ce prix élevé) mais cela me pose beaucoup de soucis.

The device is exactly what I'd hoped it would be. I can plug in an external DVD drive (needed in presentations), and the interaction with OneDrive is way more stable. I had issues displaying files in Parish Council meetings using the Tab10 Android Dex. I have added an external mouse for the ease of displaying Adobe documents. The display is so clear. Using it like a Touch-Sensitive mouse makes it so adaptive to the use I need. It is so thin, I almost cut myself on its sleekness ;). The fact that I haven't specifically commented on the onboard memory and processor is that they are not a negative drag in any of the functions I carry out. If I don't notice it, then it is more than sufficient for my needs...all positive

Agréablement surpris ! Il me semble que deux caractéristiques n’étaient mentionnées nulle part : • le lecteur d’empreintes digitales • le clavier rétroéclairé Ce qui est extrêmement appréciable ! Le tactile est ultra fluide, la résolution est top, aucun lag ou presque (je pense que l’ordinateur n’avait pas encore terminé sa configuration). Il est très rapide, et la batterie semble tenir ses promesses. Le design est sobre, l’alu est là, mais j'espère qu'il sera plus durable qu'il n'y parait (certainement plus fin pour alléger le poids). Le clavier aurait pu être un peu plus grand vu la place disponible, ou bien il aurait pu y avoir une barre de tâches. Il manque également des connectiques, ce qui peut être un peu frustrant selon les besoins. Mais dans l’ensemble, c’est vraiment un excellent produit. Je suis conquis !

Easy to set up and connect to WiFi and my Samsung phone. The laptop is not fast but ultra fast and so smooth. I can get tasks done in seconds compared to my old laptop. The battery life is amazing and so quick to fully charge. All I can do is praise this machine it's a beast ,16 inch makes the screen nicer to look at the clarity of colur and websites is next level. Browsing is fast and STRESS FREE. The speakers have great base.

It looks very nice, with modern finishing, It’s super lightweight and slim, so it’s easy to take with me wherever I go. The 15.6-inch AMOLED screen looks amazing, with bright, sharp colors that make everything from movies to documents pop. A performant laptop that doesn’t disappoint. It runs smoothly even when I got a bunch of apps open, or large files or I was editing a video. The keyboard feels great to type on, and the trackpad is super responsive, making it easy to get things done. The battery life is great, it last through a whole day of use without needing a charge. It stays cool even when I use it all day long. It’s a great choice for both work and play. I recommend it.

Globalement le book5 fait le job comme mentionné dans la présentation. Par contre je suis très déçu par l'écran qui fait pourtant l'objet d'avis élogieux. Je le compare à deux autres écrans mat que j'ai adapté à mes goûts en ce qui concerne l'affichage. Sur le book5, on ne retrouve pas les réglages habituels de contraste, netteté, adaptation les l'intensité des couleurs. En fait, on ne trouve que des réglages préétablis qui sont insuffisants ou tout au moins ne conviennent pas, d'où mes 3 étoiles.

Le Book5 Pro est un très bon produit cependant, il y a quelques points qui peuvent être améliorés. Par exemple, l'absence de reconnaissance faciale ou encore une lecture d'empreinte assez flou pourtant, ce sont des choses présentes sur des produits concurrents de la même gamme. Malgré cela, je recommande le Book5 Pro car c'est un très bon outil, que ce soit pour le travail ou encore pour le personnel. L'atmosphère Galaxy permet de relier tous les appareils, ce qui est très pratique.

Amélioration possible : ajouter une surcouche à l'interface de Windows à la manière de One UI pour les smartphone car au quodien, Windows demeure moins pratique et rapide pour la productivité (mon achat était imposé par la compatibilité Windows).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sheer excitement of receiving this parcel and opening the box! The laptop is beautifully made, lovely elegant looking laptop. Given the size, 16", I was hugely surprised to find out it was super light and extremely thin compared to other laptops that are only 14"! Booting ups and set up was a breeze, windows prompting everything very simply and straight forward. The screen is a thing of art too, bright and vivid and didn't suffer from any sun glare at all, even during the bright daylight shining through. The laptop performance is amazing, it handled everything I threw at it, even without a dedicated GPU it still ran a few games at decent FPS and had no real issues with playing any streaming at 4k etc. Overall this is a beauty of a laptop, thin light and powerful. The battery life has lasted a long time too, since getting it over a week ago, I think with heavy usage everyday I've only charged it 1.5 times. Would highly recommend!

Super ordinateur. Vraiment une tuerie. Très bien équipé. Juste une petit truc. Une 2eme prise USB 3 aurait été parfait. Sinon l'écran est magnifique, l'autonomie plus qu'honorable. Produit incroyable, puissant. Il est très fluide, vif, beau. Très léger et fin ce qui est un gros point positif pour le transport. Il a également une autonomie d'enfer. Je tiens largement une journée facile sans crainte de devoir le recharger entre temps. Et ça c'est une sérénité d'esprit mais tellement magique.

It’s lovely but I don’t seem to be able to use it properly .maybe I’ve got so used to an I pad Im75 so maybe I’m getting to old for this new technology I love the Samsung brand but I just don’t seem to be able to get my head round it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say, from the screen to the battery life, this laptop is perfect for my daily and travel needs. Powerful enough for editing and producing my YouTube videos and with enough battery for browsing and enjoying watching the vibrant screen all day without the need to recharge. The 16" screen trumps the 14" for when I'm working with Excel or Word and having the Number Pad really adds to the productivity you can get from the Book5 Pro. Having previously seen the benefits of Windows Hello, I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with facial recognition, but then finding out how simple and easy signing in was when logging in with the fingerprint sensor, any disappointment vanished. Another big plus for me, as I tend to lounge with the laptop on my legs, was that there doesn't seem to be the same temperature build up that I have experienced with other laptops, along with the quiet running and lack of fan noise, I find it extremely usable. A huge trackpad, fast processor, large storage, long battery life, all the ports I will ever need and a camera that makes video calling a breeze, this Book5 Pro ticks all of my boxes and after purchasing it, I have no regrets whatsoever. A huge recommendation from me and if, like me, you are a Samsungphile, it works seamlessly with all of my other devices, from my S24 Ultra and transferring files to streaming to my TV's, excellent.

L’écran tactile est ultra fluide, la résolution est excellente et l’appareil se montre assez vif dans l’ensemble. La batterie semble tenir ses promesses et le design, sobre et élégant en aluminium est apprécié. Le clavier aurait pu être un peu plus grand je pense au vu de l’espace disponible, et l’ajout d’une barre de tâches tactile aurait été un vrai plus. Le manque de connectiques peut également se révéler frustrant selon les usages, aussi, plus de choix quant au processeur et a la mémoire serait GRANDEMENT apprécié. Cependant, plusieurs dysfonctionnements viennent entacher l’usage au quotidien. Copilot présente des bugs récurrents au démarrage, le pavé tactile quant à lui bug énormément (bloquant parfois l’utilisation pendant plusieurs secondes !!) ce qui devient vite agaçant. À trois reprises, le PC a complètement freezé nécessitant un redémarrage forcé. Lorsqu’on l’utilise dans un cadre professionnel, il montre des signes de faiblesse : ralentissements, perte de fluidité, et baisse de performance ( tout ceci indépendamment du niveau de batterie ou du mode) Cela limite sérieusement son efficacité dans un contexte exigeant. En résumé, ce PC présente de belles qualités sur le plan du design, de la fluidité tactile et de l’autonomie, mais ces atouts sont ternis par des dysfonctionnements techniques qui nuisent à son utilisation. Dommage, car avec un peu plus de stabilité et de fiabilité, il aurait pu être une vraie référence dans sa catégorie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gradually converting to Samsung, fold phone, watch, ring, tablet, laptop was next! I've never had a 16" laptop before and was worried this would be to big and heavy, especially as I already use the Tab S9 Ultra. However, it is a work of beauty, not too heavy and is easily used on a lap or desk (or coffee shop!). Just to show off a little, you can easily use the tablet as a second screen (see photo). The laptop is really slim, and feels really well built with its metal chassis. The Galaxy Book5 Pro supports copilot+ pc and galaxy ai features which just seems to get better and better each day. Combined with this new Ultra7 Processor - everything is just quick, from browsing the web, to streaming, to photo manipulation. Then you have the 16" screen, which is a thing of beauty. I can easily multitask word documents, or browser pages. I haven't had an opportunity to test the battery life, it just doesn't seem to consume battery, but I do not believe I have really put it to the test. It will come travelling over the ski season, and I will be able to provide further feedback after that, but in general it coped really well with watching / streaming videos, writing documents, browsing. Finally, the integration between other Samsung products is just sublime. Using the tablet as a second screen just worked so easily. Putting the Galaxy Buds3 Pro's in my ears then just linked to the laptop. The One UI works (and keeps improving with updates). So far - amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a lot of Samsung products from their phones, tablets, watch and television, a laptop was next on the list and this has certainly not disappointed. The Book 5 Pro is lightweight and sports a really good quality and vivid 16inch screen, perfect for editing photos and videos as well as showing them off. With 16GB of ram and fast Ultra 7 processor processor the laptop handles and processes videos as well as games without struggling or overheating and remains nice and quiet. The Book5 Pro sports a good sized keyboard as well as a numpad which is really useful when working with figures and for use with media editing. The keys are easy to press and responsive with no drops and whilst some keys are a little smaller such as the enter on the num pad, these are quickly got used. Graphics wise, ie the amazing AMOLED screen, things are really good. Great brightness, colours and definition allowing good and true to life images and videos to be show. Likewise tha laptop is really good with modern games such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, providing good quick gameplay and defined graphics and cinematics. The screen is also touch sensitive which is very useful. Whilst having a good large desktop screen, I find myself being able to use the Book5 Pro screen a lot more due to its quality. There is a very large track pad which allows for use with the left or right hand easily and it is really responsive and allows for fine detailed movements as well as fast travel across the screen. The Book5 Pro is nice and slim and fits nicely in my photographic case along with my camera gear, or slips nicely into my backpack without taking up much space. There are two USB C ports of which one can be used for charging the laptop, as well as a USB A port, an HDMI port, a headphone jack and a microsd card slot. The card slot is great for my action camera cards to be able to offload the footage and edit. Sound is where I would say things are let down a little as it is not as rich or with base or powerful as one would expect for such a premium laptop, however you can improve things a little with the Dolby controller settings. Battery life is great, lasting all day when editing and playing back videos and allows still for some gaming without the need to charge, so use on the plane or when travelling is great. The included charger is quick, compact and small. Overall a great laptop for every day use at home and when travelling.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
