Use Smart Edge Blending settings with The Freestyle

If you have two Samsung The Freestyle projectors, you can use the Smart Edge Blending feature, which connects both projectors to form one seamless image. Several settings can be adjusted when using this feature to alter the brightness, focus, screen, and sound. To find these settings, you will need to use the SmartThings app on your phone. Also, make sure The Freestyle projectors have been added to the app before continuing.

Notes: The following requirements must be met to use Smart Edge Blending:

  • Two units of The Freestyle 2nd Gen and a phone with the SmartThings app installed. Required SmartThings version: 1.8.5.24 or later on Android devices and 1.7.5.21 or later on iOS devices.
  • The two projectors and your phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. A 5 GHz band is recommended.
  • Use of this feature requires the SmartThings app. At least one of The Freestyle must be added to the SmartThings app on your phone.
  • Galaxy devices support image and video formats. iOS devices support image format only.
  • A maximum of 160 inches is possible with this feature. A minimum of 130 inches is recommended.
