The water resistance helps you to track your activities in all weather conditions, or engaging in water related fitness exercise. We do regret seeing that you're not a fan of the new design of the watch, and the removal of the rotating bezel. The larger screen and side buttons can offer swift navigation and interaction, but we can understand your concern if this has not been your experience. It has been designed to be larger to accommodate the battery, but also offer robustness so that it can keep up with the most active of lifestyles. Because we know that not everyone wants the same thing with any of our products, we do make sure that you are able to set them up how you prefer, which is why there are other options available to navigate the watch, away from the rotating bezel. The Watch5 Pro uses the heart rate sensor, on the back of your smartwatch, to record your sleep cycle. Clean the back of your smartwatch with a clean cloth. Put the watch back on making sure it's in the correct position. Please also put it on bare skin and not over a tattoo as this can affect the sleep tracker. Please also ensure that the Heart Rate Settings are set to 'Always On'. You can adjust this setting by opening the Samsung Health App > Go to Settings > Go to Measurements. To ensure the best performance for all tracking features, including activity and sleep, please make sure your watch's software is up to date. You can check this in the Galaxy Wearables App > Watch Settings > Watch Software Update > Install Now.
