How to clean the detergent auto dispenser and pump on your Samsung washing machine

In order to avoid the build-up of detergent residue in your washing machine’s detergent auto dispenser, it is important to clean the detergent drawer once or twice a month. This will also ensure that your washing machine continues to function correctly.

Please note:

  • Before cleaning, turn off your washing machine and unplug the power cord.
  • If you are not going to use your washing machine for a long time, empty the detergent dispensers and clean them thoroughly.

3 Clean the dispenser caps with water
4 Wipe any excess water off the surface and close the caps
5 Do not use a brush or any other cleaning tool on Part (A) of the detergent drawer, simply rinse it with water. Do not disassemble Part (A)
