What is Samsung Health Ask an Expert powered by Babylon?

When you’re using Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, Samsung does not receive, store or use any medical data as such data is processed by Babylon in accordance with Babylon’s Privacy Policy.
The steps given below may vary depending on the model and operating system on your device.
Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, is a service which is available in the Samsung Health app. It allows you to check your symptoms, get
health information and arrange live virtual appointments with a doctor.
You can set up Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, through the Samsung Health app. When you’re using Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, Samsung does not receive, store or use any medical data as such data is processed by Babylon in accordance with Babylon’s Privacy Policy.














When you access Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, for the first time you will be prompted to set up your personal profile.




From here, you will be asked to enter personal information in order to set up your profile. Once you have set up your profile, you can then add or edit profiles for your children from the EXPERTS tab.



Please note: that the first time you access the EXPERTS tab, you may be asked to enter personal information in order to get set up.

You can check your symptoms or ask questions using Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, via the Samsung Health app.





This will open up an instant message chat with the Chatbot which will start a conversation with you. From here you can ask questions or describe symptoms. Some questions will require you to choose a response and others will require you to type a message and press SEND.

Once you have answered all of the questions, you will be able to view a summary of information about possible causes of your symptoms by choosing Your summary.

Here you can choose from a list of conditions that may potentially be causing your symptoms.

Choosing a condition will show you more information about it. Choose exit to go back to your conversation.

Once you’ve finished viewing your summary, you can finish the conversation and rate it by choosing the stars.

When you’ve finished the conversation, you can book an appointment, find a hospital, find a pharmacy or start a new chat by choosing one of the options.

You can view your Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, purchase history via the Samsung Health app.







A prescription will be generated by a doctor during an Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, appointment in the Samsung Health app.
You can choose to collect your prescription from a pharmacy, or have it delivered to your home. You will be offered this choice in the app after you have had your appointment.
After your appointment, choose Prescription.

From here you can choose how you’d like to collect your prescription.

Prescriptions provided will be private prescriptions and will incur the cost of the medicine(s) prescribed. This price is set by the pharmacy and is independent of any charges set by Babylon. You are under no obligation to purchase medicine from any particular pharmacy.
Please note: that if you do not have a membership plan set up, you will be charged for this service.
You can book an appointment with a GP using Ask an Expert, powered by Babylon, via the Samsung Health app.





If you haven't already done so, you may need to verify your identity at this stage. Follow the onscreen instructions until you come to the Book appointment menu.

If you have already set up a membership plan, your appointment will now be booked, otherwise you will need to add a payment method.
The pricing available will show on this screen. As from 24th February 2019, prices will be GBP89.99 for an annual subscription, and GBP9.99 for a monthly subscription.

You are now able to choose which notifications you wish to receive from the Samsung Health app.
