How to use Hygiene Steam function in front load washing machine

The Hygiene Steam Cycle* on Samsung Smart Washers effectively targets germs, reduces common bacteria, and minimizes allergens. By releasing steam from the bottom of the drum, this powerful cycle enhances the cleaning performance of a regular wash, ensuring a deeper clean for your clothes.

This cycle is ideal for cotton and linen fabrics that come into direct contact with the skin, such as underwear. For the best hygiene results, set the temperature to 60°C or higher.

Steps to use Hygiene Steam function

1 Tap the Power button to turn on the washing machine.

2 Rotate the Navigation dial to scroll through the available cycles.

3 Select Hygiene Steam*, then tap on the thermometer icon to adjust the temperature settings.

4 Add detergent or softener as normal, and press and hold Start/Pause to begin the operation.

*If your washer does not have an LED control panel, the Hygiene Steam function may be accessible via the mode selector dial or a button.
