How to increase memory space and response time in Galaxy Phones ?

Please follow below tips to resolve insufficient memory issue and increase response speed. 

1 On the Settings screen, tap Device maintenance.

2 Tap 'Memory'

3 To speed up your device by reducing the amount of memory you are using, tick apps from the apps list, and tap CLEAN NOW.

1 On the Settings screen, tap Device maintenance.

2 Tap 'Storage'
.
3 Tap CLEAN NOW. To delete files or uninstall apps that you do not use any more, select a category under USER DATA. Then, tick items to select and tap DELETE or UNINSTALL

Google Photos supports free, unlimited storage for high-quality (great visual quality at reduced file size) and free 15GB to account storage for original(full resolution that counts against your quota) based on upload size for photos and videos. We recommend to backup and sync your photo, video contents usually by using this Google Photos.

1 On apps screen, select Google Photos. (Device screenshots may differ by your software version.)

2 Activate Back up & sync option. Please note you need to sign in Google Account to back up and sync.

3 After that select upload size for photos and videos through settings.
.
4 Select files to back up to your cloud storage and tap Archive.
.

5 If you finished to back up files, you can delete same files saved on your device to secure device storage through Delete from device. Any pictures or videos backed up already to cloud storage will be safe even the files from device are deleted.

You can manage the content that you want to store securely in Samsung Cloud and keep your personal information, app data, and settings safe on your device.  Please back up data like Music, Apps, Documents, Contacts etc and access it later.  (For this, you must register and sign in to your account to back up or restore data.)

1 On the Settings screen, tap Settings > Cloud and accounts

2 Tap Samsung Cloud

3 Tap Backup settings
.
4 Select data for which back up required and then Tap Backup Now
.

Finally, if installed applications need large memory size for installation and you do not use frequently, we recommend to uninstall or delete the applications to secure device storage. (i.e. Excel, OneNote, Power Point, Word, OneDrive, Skype)
