How to utilize Cover screen preview & Capture view features on Galaxy Z Fold8 series

The Cover screen preview feature enables your subject to view the shot in real-time on the cover screen, ensuring they are perfectly framed for every photo. Meanwhile, the Capture view feature divides the screen into two sections, allowing you to preview captured photos instantly on one side while retaining full camera controls on the other. 

Note:

  • The names, menu paths, and screen configurations of the described features may vary depending on the country, model & software version.
  • This feature is available on select Galaxy devices.

A) Cover screen preview:

With dual-screen functionality, the subject being photographed can view the shot on the cover screen, ensuring they are perfectly framed.

1. Unfold and unlock the device

Note: To access the Recent or Suggested apps, you need to unfold the device, as this feature isn’t available on the Cover Display.

2. Open the Camera app.

4. Once activated, the person being photographed can see the shot* on the cover screen in real-time.

B) Capture view:

This feature splits the screen into two sections for enhanced photo management.
