How to update an App in Samsung Smart TV?

Update an App
1 Press Smart Hub Key, navigate to Featured and select.

Please note: Apps that have an update available are indicated with a small white arrow on a blue background. E.g. Chili.

2 Navigate to the App that requires updating, press and hold the Enter key until the Sub Menu appears.
3 Navigate to Update Apps and select.

4 Click on Select All.

5 Navigate to Update and select.

Please note: All Apps requiring update will do so with a progress bar.

App Automatic update option

 

Follow below steps to Turn on App Automatic Update feature in Samsung Smart TV

 

1. Press the Home button on your One Remote.

2. Using the Directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select APPS.

 

. 

 

3. Select Options (mostly option is available at the top right of the screen) .

 

. 

 

4. To turn on Auto Update, select Auto Update: ON.

Check version number of an App
1 Navigate to Categories and select.

2 Navigate to the App category and select. E.g. Video.
.
3 Navigate to the App and select. E.g. BBC i-Player.

4 Latest and installed version numbers will be displayed.
