It's been little over a week since I received Z fold 8 and I have been really impressed with it. The design feels slimmer and more refined, while still giving you the convenience of a phone that opens into a much larger screen. The large inner display is excellent for watching videos, browsing the web, multitasking, and using multiple apps at the same time. The outer screen is also much more comfortable to use for everyday tasks. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive upgrade and feels very premium. This is one of the best foldable phones and mini-tablet in one device, it is very expensive but totally worth it.

I love the size coming from a S24 Ultra, this is just what I wanted smaller and can open to a bigger size. I do have concerns about the hinge. Not that it is not durable just that it's not small particle safe. So I do have a S22 for going to the beach but it would be nice to get a hinge that can keep all the small debris out. Having said the negative I'll go back the phone. The screens, the outside one is fine it lets me do what I need to and very little limitations. The inside one is fantastic and super bright for media consumption. The Cameras are good not S26 ultra but good enough to get good shots when needed.the battery last most days all day.I can't say enough about the overall size it is amazing open and closed. Over all this is a 4.5/5 for me.

I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

I truly love this phone. The front display is a great size where I can use for all apps and more. The middle display is simply fantastic 👌 and I love the way the hinge snaps giving it a really high quality feel. The battery last for two days which is incredible and the whole devise feel so durable and well made. I have a three year contract and feel totally confident this device will last. The operating system is perfect and has amazing responsiveness. It truly is a joy to own and use. Love the large screen when I'm searching online and the front is great for everyday use. The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

love it, love it, love it :-) Switched from a z flip 5 to the fold 8 ... def no lookin back, I also have a iphone 17 pro (from work ). But my fold beats this heads down. The display totally rocks and the reponsiveness it brilliant. I love the dimensions / form so cool. This hinge is so much nicer too. Will wait to see battery and durability with timem but I'm not worried.

I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

great form Factor for reading and watching content, the fact that that it is only over 200 g is a big plus. You don't feel a big presence when it's in your pocket, and holding it in hand for a long time is no longer a painful thing. Basically a powerful ultra thing and light tablet. The only regrets is that there's no telescope camera.

Samsung never dissapoints ,i nived to samsung when the first flip came and now this loving it!!!! I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

I'm desperately in love. The new form factor of the Fold8 makes it perfect for watching content when unfolded (that screen ratio feels designed for YouTube). When closed, that square screen shows off your social media like Polaroid pictures - this is how they were meant to be viewed. It's also blazingly fast and feels far more robust than previous models - an absolute upgrade.

Although it is missing the on-screen biometric, it's still efficient on the power button. The camera is quite decent compared to my old phone, the S24 Ultra. The Pistachio colour is great; however, it is somehow hidden by the grey silicone back cover - I expected Samsung to supply a clear option. Both speakers are on one side of the phone, although not a big deal - a recommendation to improve in the next version.

Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

I've owned the fold 2, fold 4 and fold 5. My fold 5 inner screen was starting to show a hairline crack in the crease. So, I figured it was time to switch devices. My two other fold devices ended up with cracked inner screens along the crease and the fold 2's inner display actually failed because of the this. However, Samsung has a generous exchange program for fold devices, even cracked or defective ones, which compensates for the durability limitation. That being said I find that the fold 8 is a game changer in the category. I used not to use the front screen of fold devices at all. I'm now using it 60% of the time and only unfolding the phone for longer sessions or when I actually need a bigger screen (which I believe will increase durability). The crease in the inner screen is not visible. The camera hole doesn't cover the video in landscape mode (like on the fold 8 ultra, which is a deal breaker for me). And the format of the phone is especially pocketable. It's fast and responsive and the battery gets me through the day. I really recommend the fold 8. Let's just hope the new hinge design and titanium component actually makes the inner screen more durable than previous fold models.

I've had most phone styles and recently changed from the flip7 as I got sick of having to flip it open to use it. The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

Love the form factor. I was unsure of how I would get on with the front screen to begin with but honestly I use it more unfolded so far. Hinge seems very durable. Time will tell but as with any fold or flip, just a bit more careful than standard phone and you're good. Very happy.

Coming from the Pixel foldables, I'm enjoying the light weight, thinness and compactness of the Z Fold8. Unfortunately you do have to deal with the multiple versions of the same apps and Samsung's take on them. For example you need to use the Samsung clock app to use the sleep schedule as a condition for Routines, even if the Google clock app has the same sleep schedule. The friction between the two worlds is not the best for the end user, battling to turn off Samsung Wallet quick access gestures and settings up Google Wallet instead as another example. There's also lots of useful settings not enabled by default, and a tonne of non useful stuff which is battling for attention. The hardware however speaks for itself and it sparks genuine joy to use.

This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

I absolutely love the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The biggest highlight for me is the form factor — having a normal phone that can instantly unfold into a mini tablet is incredibly useful. It gives you the convenience of a phone when you’re on the go, but whenever you need more screen space for browsing, reading, videos or multitasking, you can simply open it up. The design also feels very refined. Samsung has done a great job making a foldable device feel polished and practical rather than just a cool piece of technology. It’s a genuinely great everyday device and probably my favourite Fold so far.

Received on day one of shipping. Great phone and quality i expect from Samsung but poor camera location design. I get the possible location is probably limited but the raised design makes it impossible to type or do anything really laid flat. Would suggest also getting some sort of protection for the lenses as it's pretty much the first thing that will hit any surface and most likely get scratched or damaged easily

The best phone format I’ve ever tried. I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but they are bulky and clumsy. The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

The crease is alot less noticeable compared to any foldable I have held. The hinge is smooth and firm enough that you need a bit of force to open or close the phone which is good becuase you dont want a floppy phone. It feels very strong as in durable, i wouldn't personally test dropping the phone but im confident it can survive decent heights. The battery lasts me all day and charges very fast, faster than the fold 7. The inner and outer screens are both great, i primarily use the inner screen and I'm well pleased with it. The phone is very responsive when it comes to any task.

Been using the Fold 8 for a bit now and honestly really happy with it. First thing I noticed was the design — it's slimmer than I thought it'd be and feels really nice in the hand, doesn't feel bulky like some foldables. The hinge is solid too, no weird gaps or wobbling. Performance has been great overall, no complaints. Everything runs smooth, switching between apps is fast, and it handles multitasking really well. Battery lasts me the whole day without needing to top up.

I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

I'm 1 week into my time with the Fold8, and overall I've been very impressed with the screen, battery life and overall performance. The form factor is unique and when unfolded, the inner screen is amazing for watching content or multi-tasking. The price is still steep, the speakers are pretty mediocre, and without a case it does feel a bit fragile, but aside from these caveats: this is the first genuinely exciting foldable device I've used.

I have been using the Z Fold 8 for a week, I have come from having the Z Foldv7 and I absolutely love the form factor, hands more manageable than the Z Fold 7. Look the cameras could be better, but it's not like I'm a professional photographer either! IP rating could be better but again I've never really exposed any of my previous founds to the elements, like sand for example. I don't think I'd ever go back to slab style phone ever again, or in particular a Z Fold 7/8 Ultra form factor!! Z Fold just fits, it's perfect!! Well done Samsung i think you finally got it right!!

I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

My first fold. Unbelievable device. New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

At first I wasn't too sure if I liked the phone, just went from a fold 5 to the fold 8. But it has been great so far, it takes a couple of days to get used to it. I use the front screen more on this version compared to my fold 5 since it has a better aspect ratio to go through insta and Facebook, but it also goes well for movies. It also has great battery life. Some things I would fix is the camera and flashlight being too low, as my fingers will block it sometimes which can be easily fixed if they went horizontal instead of vertical.

Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

I had most generations of past folds , I just skipped the fold 7 and got the fold 8. So far I'm very happy with it, I thing the outside screen is more usable being wider than the candy cane style , I was never a fan of it. When you open it ilthe inner screen is very sharp and bright and the new aspect ratio is more enjoyable for most popular content I watch ( YouTube,FB,etc) also the crease is almost gone!. Battery last me all day compare to the fold 6 that I had to top up on the afternoon !. The smaller form factor I enjoy better , as it is easier to carry in the pocket, built quality seems pretty good as well , so durability must have being improved,only the time will tell. The new hardware paired with the new UI is very responsive and snappy .

I have been a Samsung loyalist for over 15 years, and every year I have upgraded my phone. My favourite Samsung phone was the last Note (still have it, its iconic) but I have loved the folds since they starting coming out. Since I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. Its notsaglic in a way cos its like passport size (back to when phones fitted within the palm of your hand) but yet when you open it up takes everything to another level. The look, the design , the features and performance is all A+++++++. I do wish they would bring back the micro SD card

I was skeptical to begin with as to the new shape having owned a z fold 5 for a couple of years. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed. The bigger inner screen is great for multitasking, reading and watching videos, while the phone still feels surprisingly comfortable to use when folded. Performance is smooth, the cameras are solid, and the battery easily gets me through a normal day. It’s definitely expensive, but if you want a phone that can replace a phone and small tablet, the Fold 8 is one of the best options out there. The main downside is that it’s still a little bulky when folded.

The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

The phone itself is great love being able to change screens when using it and display is very good the fold hinge is very secure and can't see a crease in the screen the battery is ok don't last as long as my flip 6 did overall the phone is very responsive and smooth to use and haven't found using my apps any different And just don't by the case cover from Samsung on brand as it only covers the back of the phone and comes with front screen protection but no cover I have already dropped it and the durability of the metal phone cover is good so Samsung if your really listening can the Samsung galaxy z fold 8 case cover come with a front cover too please for full phone protection 4 stars as phone cover is rubbish for price

My first foldable phone, and the battery life was one of my main concerns before receiving it. However, it has been surprisingly good and lasts just as long as a traditional flagship phone. The form factor is unique and exciting, and the larger inner display is fantastic for consuming content, especially older content in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I’m also a big reader, particularly of comic books, and honestly, the larger screen alone makes this phone worth it for me. It’s also much more stable and comfortable to use when unfolded than I expected, with the hinge making the phone feel surprisingly sturdy and durable. Overall a great phone if your looking to consume alot of media on the go without the need for multiple devices.

Absolutely love this phone. Where do I begin? Firstly, the front display is amazing. Upon opening, the hinge feels like its durability will last the distance. Once set up, which is a breeze, both screens are extremely responsive. The longevity of the battery is looking excellent. I have had Samsung phones for many years, but this is most definitely my favorite. In short, if anyone is thinking about taking the plunge with this phone, I can only advise you to do so immediately; you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic phone. I use to own a flip and loved the form, but in reality it was not usable with how skinny it was. Jump a few years later i saw that samsung was releasing a fold WIDE and wanted to try it out. I'm very impressed at how light and compact it is, without having to sacrifice any screen size. When i need to do a quick check on something i'd use the front but when i'm browsing i've got it folded out. I use the inside screen probably 80% and the front 20% - i also recall my old flip had such a visible crease but the fold 8 is not noticeable at all.

I've been using the Z Fold 8 daily for the past month and it's exceeded my expectations. Battery life comfortably gets me through a full day of heavy use, including gaming and video streaming on the big screen. The display is stunning — the inner foldable screen is vibrant and crease is barely noticeable, while the cover screen is just as sharp for quick tasks. Build quality feels premium and durable, with the frame holding up well to daily folding and unfolding. The hinge is smooth and sturdy, snapping shut with a satisfying click and showing no looseness even after weeks of use. Responsiveness is excellent too — apps open instantly and multitasking across the folded display feels seamless with zero lag. Overall, a fantastic phone I'd recommend without hesitation.

Finally, it’s the Fold where I can type comfortably with my big hands. Though I only had it for two days, it’s been very pleasant with all the improvements Samsung implemented into this little device. Battery life has improved, which is a huge plus, the hinge feels much more durable, and the brightness is noticeably better outdoors compared to the Fold 5 I was using. With the newest Snapdragon, the phone feels so much snappier and more responsive. Highly recommended if you’re undecided whether to buy one or not.

Samsung hit the sweet spot with the Z Fold 8. It’s noticeably thinner, lightweight, and incredibly fast. The outer display feels much more natural for typing, while opening the inner display gives you an incredible tablet-like experience for multitasking or watching videos. The crease is barely noticeable, the screens are super bright, and the overall build quality feels top-notch. Absolutely loving this upgrade!

Made the change from Fold 7 few days ago and don't regret it that's for sure. My Lavander colour tiny piece of tech Fold 8 is a masterpiece indeed 🫠 The "passport phone" stays charged almost 20 hours, fits perfectly in my hands ( girl hands, btw) , and now I have turned it pink all over, from the cover, to the screen 😄 I can't remember since I have written messages with both hands, and I love it . Opened for reading is something else. The hinge is strong and you can't see the middle line on the screen anymore. I am purely in love with it ❤️ 😍 💖

Both the cover screen and inner display feel extremely smooth and instant—scrolling, app switching, and typing have zero lag. Loving my new ZFold8 for the size and shape that fit my hands and pockets! The display screens both inside and out are both crisp and intensely colourful. The apps and browsers I use seem to just fit better with this display size. The battery despite increased usage is giving me much longer life than my previous Flip6. The camera is fabulous and the connectivity with my other devices including my car works seamlessly. I'm looking forward to making more use of the AI features on this device.

This is my first foldable phone and it is amazing! I love that I can use the Fold8 in many different ways depending on what I'm doing. Closed and portrait for texting, front screen landscape and half open to watch videos, unfolded and portrait for social media and web browsing, and unfolded and landscape for videos and multi-tasking! The Fold8 is cute, unique, eye-catching, functional, and has changed the way I think about and use a smartphone. There's no going back now!

I absolutely love the new form factor! I thought it may be too wide for my hands but pleasantly surprised - it isn'! Honestly looking at it just makes me happy. I was prepared for apps to not be optimised for its form factor but I haven't had any major issues where it rendered the application useless. I'm hoping this form factor is embraced more widely and will be catered for in terms of app performance. Fingers crossed that future models get the 200mp zoom camera. I am willing to sacrifice a little weight for the camera.

Very impressed with my new phone, you don't notice the fold crease unless you really look for it. Having the larger screen inside is brilliant for pictures, videos and productivity. The outside screen is handy for everyday quick use on the go. The battery life appears to be excellent with charging limits ranging from 80% to 95% to extend battery life rather than the only 80% on my previous phone. Build quality overall is excellent so I feel confident it will be great for many year's to come. Overall very impressed and happy with my purchase.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
