I’m extremely disappointed with both the Samsung washer I purchased and the customer service experience that followed. The washer has never pulled hot water, which is a basic and essential function. I reached out to Samsung for warranty service, and they sent a technician. Shockingly, the technician claimed “there’s nothing wrong” – even though the washer still does not use hot water at all. It was clear that no real diagnostic was done. When I contacted Samsung’s customer service and warranty support team again, I was told “there’s nothing we can do about it.” This is completely unacceptable for a product that’s still under warranty and clearly malfunctioning. I trusted the Samsung brand, but this experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Poor product quality is one thing, but the lack of accountability and basic customer support is inexcusable. I will not be buying another Samsung appliance, and I strongly caution others to consider a different brand – especially if you expect your warranty to mean anything.

It holds a ton of laundry and it's great for my king size comforters and pet beds. The active water jet feature is nice for pre-treating but that is not a feature I see myself using very often. I do love the SmartThings app. That is going to come in very handy. It was easy to download and set up my appliances. I like that it lets you know how much time you have left on your cycle and it also has downloadable recipes that you can send to your washing machine to customize your wash experience further. Even my pet laundry comes out surprisingly clean.

This washer is quite advanced over my older model. With the smart features it has a bunch of different wash cycles to choose from plus some you can customize and download. I love the connection with smart things in Samsung devices. I can check my phone to see how much time is left on the cycle and get an alert when done. A final point in this washer is that it doesn't come with the normal agitator in the middle which makes it easier and roomier to put your clothes in. And even though this use roomier them my older washer, these takes up less room in the laundry closet. Overall very satisfied with this washer.

I'm a single guy, so I am really familiar with the normal washing mode. Since I have connected this washer to Smartthings, I can send laundry recipes and it helps me pick the appropriate mode. Wifi connection was easy to set up, and I got it connected to Smartthings quickly. The Smart Control allows me to keep an eye on cycles from my phone. The drum is nice and large, so I can easily fit bedding in. I love this washer so far, and I think I still have some learning to do. This has been a great addition to my Samsung/Smartthings ecosystem.

It doesn't twist up your clothes. It has the built in waterjet, this is so convenient. I can reach the bottom taking the clothes out. Connection was very easy to smartthings. My Samsung machines are located in my garage so I am delighted to get notified when the machines are done. I think this is the nicest machine I have ever owned.

We have never had an impeller type washing machine always the agitator type. It has a lot of cycle to choose from and the app is handy for keeping up with when it's done. We are really busy and sometimes we forget about the laundry and leave it in the washing machine for days at a time but with this app it sends you a message to let you know it's finished. The large capacity makes a huge difference , I can easily wash my king-sized comforter without struggling to fit it in, and since there’s no agitator in the middle, the load has more room to move around. There’s even a dedicated Bedding cycle, which is a great feature for bulky items. I also love the see-through lid because I can check on the wash without opening it. The display shows exactly how long each cycle will take, and there are plenty of wash cycles to choose from. One of my favorite things is how quiet this washer is compared to others I’ve had. Even with large or heavy loads, the noise level stays low thanks to the vibration control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got this washer, I immediately connected it to my Samsung Smart Things phone app and my voice assistance service. I haven't had a new washer in over 7 years so I was really excited to have a smart device. I did have a little bit of a learning curve, getting used to a new appliance with more washing options. Therefore, one of my favorite features on the Smart Things app is Laundry Recipe. I can input what I want to wash and it will suggest the best setting to use. As long as my washer is on, it can then send the recipe to my washer. Another of my favorite features is using Smart Things to check on what cycle of the wash my clothes are on and how much longer it has. I can even use my voice assistant service to ask how much longer the load has to wash if I want to go hands free. Additionally, it does a great job of removing dirt, tough stains, and even odors from my family's clothing. I am so glad I chose this device! I highly recommend it!

It is a small place but due to our dogs and kids we realized quickly that we needed to be able to do laundry here. Unlike my original washer, this washer allows for multiple big blankets that our dogs get dirty and handles our comforters and blankets with no issues. I am shorter but don't have a problem getting laundry out of the bottom of the washer - this was my concern moving from a front loading washer to a top loading one! We also have a Samsung range that is smart things capable so we’re able to access using wifi. Pretty high tech. Set up was quick and easy (done by my husband!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: -This Washer is absolutely fantastic.It does an excellent job washing my clothes and linens (even my king sized comforter) as I would expect but some things that set it apart are: -The Active Water Jet is amazingly convenient and allows me to hand-wash some delicate items or work on stains before adding it to the wash without wasting water. -The see-through glass lid window lets me peek in and see how everything is going and make sure there aren't any problems. It is so much quieter than my other previous machines. -My favorite thing about this washer is the Samsung SmartThings App. I love that I can set up my cycle settings from my phone and send them to the washer. If the washer is on, I can even start the cycle from my phone if I have turned on smart control. Once I’ve started a wash I can see the status of where it is in the cycle from the app and how much time is left. My phone will notify me when it is done or if there are any changes to the cycle. -HomeCare is great to have because it helps keep my washer in the best working condition possible. It notified me when it was time to run a self clean and will let me know if there are any other maintenance issues. I love that it also has usage guides and instructional steps. -Laundry Recipe is a very useful way to determine the best cycle to pick by answering a few questions. My husband loves it too as it is like a cheat sheet for him. Cons: -The capacity is large enough for my king sized comforter, but it couldn’t handle my king sized mattress topper unfortunately. If the washer isn’t on, I can’t control it from my phone, so I will have to go to it and manually power it on. -If you aren’t tech savvy, setting up the SmartThings app and getting it all figured out may be a bit challenging. The simple things are relatively straightforward, but digging deeper to fully take advantage of all the functionality available to you can be confusing and may require extra assistance. -You can only access some features by using the SmartThings App, so if you don’t use it you are losing some functionality. Some washer settings are not available in the SmartThings App and are only available on the physical washer control pad itself like the Delay End and Pre Soak options. Overall, I am very happy with this washing machine and would highly recommend it if you are interested in a wi-fi smart washer with a fantastic app.

no es la mejor lavadora solo acaricia las prendas no quita la suciedad solo da pequeños giros lo cual la ropa no se mueve mucho y no intenten cambiar de ciclo una ves empesado ya que tira el agua qué tiene e introduce agua nueva por lo tanto no ahorra agua , dura como 10 minutos en llenado y solo 30 en lavado con pequeñas aguitaciones, en lavado rápido solo espara máximo tres prendas y aun así las deja sucias en conclusión no la compren yo me arrepentí de comprarla la publicidad que esta en su mayoría es mentira

I have used a few of the cycles as well as the self clean function and they all have done amazing. I love the water jet to pre-treat as I have kids that are in sports and it helps with those small stains. I liked that when the washer thought it needed a self clean that it let me know to do that. I have also noticed how easy it is to use and I am confident that even my 12 year old is able to use it without instruction from myself. Once it was installed and was able to be put to use we had 3 hampers full of clothes that needed to be washed. Without an agitator we can put so many more clothes than I have ever been able to in any other washing machine. I love that it has compartments for each cleaning solution you would use. Bleach in the front and a pull out drawer in the back for HE detergent and softener. There is also a jet sprayer that you can use to rinse out the cap of your detergent. The dial is self explanatory and easy to use. I like that it turns off when the cycle is complete. One of the best features is the fact that it has synced with my refrigerator and cell phone I have the laundry in the basement and cant hear when it is completed, and now I get a notification on both devices telling me when the washer is completed. I would buy this washer again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my new washer for about a week now and it has adequately cleaned my normal laundry loads of clothes, towels, bedding and even the rugs that my pets lay on. I don't really notice the sound besides when the water cycles out of it and I really liked it. It has so many settings. There are 10 wash settings which are straightforward and detailed enough to figure out how to use them. You can also change the water temperature, water level, and wash intensity according to the amount the clothes are soiled for most of the settings. I find that I prefer the quick wash since I'm often in a hurry for doing a normal load. One thing I particularly like is that the top loader door has a slow close function so that people don't jam their fingers! It's also worth mentioning that short users might need a step stool to be able to reach into the bottom of the drum when changing a load of laundry because it's deep! I can do twice the amount of laundry now in one load with this large capacity washer. It's perfect so far!

Como no leí los comentarios antes de compararle, de verdad es lo más espantoso que haya comprado, todos mis ahorros a la basura, tanto ahorrar para esto, no lava, se detiene por la presión del agua, saca pelusa, lo más espantoso que te puedas imaginar, dinero perdido a la basura, me desilusiono por completo, lástima que esta marca saqué este tipo de porquerias, llevo un mes queriendo lavar y nada, que lástima que seats no me la acepta por devolución y eso que la compre a contado.

The adults benefit as well, because there are so many options for washing all of our laundry. The pre-washing feature is what I have been looking for all my laundry life without knowing it. Now I don't have to try to wash things out in the kitchen and then walk them to the washer. The machine is also so large that no matter how many sports practices, events or swimming parties my boys have been to, my washer kept up with the demand. The one difficulty is the depth. I am only 5'3", and there has been some struggling with getting to the bottom, but worth it all for the efficiency.

This is the absolute best washer I have ever had. I love how big they are, so we can wash big loads instead of small ones. I also love the fact that it has the water jet feature. It really makes it easy to fill up buckets or hand wash something really quick if need be. I also love that once you are done with the water jet feature, the washer automatically drains the water out. The best part about this whole system is that you can control everything from your phone. It has been so nice not having to keep checking to see if my clothes are finished, or able to put clothes in the washer and start them when I’m ready. Overall, I am really impressed with the washer 10/10 for sure. I will definitely recommend to others.

The cycles are easy to understand, and I like that you can adjust the water level for each load of laundry to make sure you aren't being wasteful. I like getting notified on my phone when a load of laundry is done. I also discovered that you can view alerts and status of the washer in the SmartThings app. This is so much nicer than our old washing machine.

My husband bought me this washing machine about 6 months ago. It makes the most gawd awful noise when spinning. I have tried troubleshooting and replace the bearings but it still does the same thing. I barely have anything in the washing machine. No matter what I try it creates the same noise. I have never overloaded it. I keep the middle clear and arrange clothes or towels around the sides.

We didn't even know about one feature of this washer that has become our favorite. It has a spout where you can get a stream of water to come out into the tub! While not an actual sink, it is awesome for pre-soaking something and scrubbing out hard stains. With the Samsung app, we know when the load is done so we cant start another. Which also is less loads now with this increased capacity. This has been a great purchase and we look forward to doing laundry now!

A very well excellently built washing machine from the ground up. Built to classic style standards of brands of namesake, this machine is Samsung built namesake. Excellent drum and basket guarding, fully encapsulated heavy duty drive motor, belt drive, the only thing I can see that would make this machine stellar is a recirculating pump lint trap and that will earn another star+. This machine is easy to balance and setup, super quiet and excellent washing cycles with an awesome step up drain and spin into high speed spin cycle. This machine will last a long time with proper maintenance.

This washer leaves HORRIBLE stains on clothes. I have ran the "clean cycle" every time it's recommended, and we have deep cleaned around the bottom drain area. It leaves 2" rust colored marks each load. It is especially noticeable on whites. It has ruined SOOO many clothes. Would NOT recommend this washer.

I own this trash. It never runs a full cycle. Spin only will resoak clothes wasting water then get unbalanced again and you have to start over. Every time it stops it bangs around very loud. I changed the heating element to the dryer twice already. Third time was the charm. Don't buy this trash.

Es una lavadora muy delicada, porque sino hay suficiente presión de agua deja de llenar y se vacía, si se mueve demasiado cuando centrifuga se detiene. también creo que gasta demasiada agua en modo normal ya que tarda como 10 min lavando y 30 en llenar y eso sin incluir el enjuagado. eso si con poca ropa y en modo pesado creo que lava bien ropa no con manchas muy penetrantes. no es la mejor ni la peor por eso le doy 3 estrellas.

This washer is junk. Do not waste your money on this. The only time it doesn’t end up unbalanced every spin cycle is when it’s empty. Small loads of clothes end up taking hours because it becomes unbalanced. And bedding… forget it. It’s so bad I’ll never buy anything Samsung again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to have this Samsung Washer to use for our home. I've used both top load and front load washers, and after getting exhausted from cleaning damp gaskets and mold/mildew build-up, am glad to again use a top load washer. This washer was very easy to start using. There are many settings to help adjust the water level to accommodate the size of your laundry load. There are multiple presets, but you can download one as well. While some of the presets could benefit from more options to adjust (such as changing water temperature on some of these washes), over time it becomes more intuitive to use. We have two little ones, so we are constantly doing laundry. It's helpful that the washer is relatively quiet (make sure to adjust the legs so the washer is stable and will not shift during the spin cycle). You can also mute the device so it doesn't play a melody when it is complete. Overall, I've greatly appreciated the Samsung top load washer. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a new washing machine.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WASHER. While I don't have an agitator, the impeller version has very slow and gentle wash cycles that don't create enough water current for the clothes to be cleaned properly. I have calibrated and recalibrated but that makes no difference for the wash cycle power. The Heavy Duty, Deep Wash cycles, and Heavy soil settings also make no difference to the movement of the wash, they just add more time to the cycle. While the capacity of the washer is great, the slowness of the impeller seems like a big waste. I much preferred the power of my old washer.

I just bought this washer 5 days ago. They only thing that I don’t like is the agitation. It’s not as strong and powerful scrubbing action as my previous washer. My Kenmore was more powerful and tough stains was easier to remove. Don’t like it is time consuming to wash a load of clothes, most cycles take a hour+ except for quick wash. Wish it was a little less time for doing a load of laundry. I like most of the features, great to be able to select my water levels too. Wish it was the same for timing of washing. Overall will recommend not a bad washer for the price tag.

The moisture detect with the smart washer capability makes this one of the best washers in the world. The first load I did with a big queen size fleece blanket I put it in the dryer after taking it out of the washer and it was like 8 minutes later I got a notification saying that the dryer had changed the time due to moisture settings and was done, and I'm thinking there's no way this queen size blanket is dry and under 10 minutes so I go check and the blanket is 100% dry. The fact that you can tweak the settings for your own soil temperature size and dryness to use on whichever load you want and the dryer saves these settings in the app is a big game changer. The only two cons I have with this dryer is the fact that you have to press the smart control button every single time you turn the dryer on so that you can control it from the app and the fact that the dryer doesn't have a light inside the drum like other dryers I've had in the past, this isn't a really big deal just a minor inconvenience. This dryer is definitely a 10 out of 10and I would recommend.

With this washer we were able to cut our loads of laundry down by 1/3! Not only does it fit more, it cleans A LOT better than any front oad we had. It has a soft close lid which makes sure that I don't slam it and wake the kids up and while running Samsung has done some magic to make sure it's as quiet as possible, which in an old house is crucial. There's a reason that top load washers are making a comeback and this unit answers as to why!

This is the worst washing machine I have ever had! Constantly says that the load is unbalanced. Constantly have to spin it to get the water out. Why does the water have to be on in order to spin it a second time? There is a button for rinse and spin. I choose the spin only button and it still wants to fill with water. This machine wastes so much water. My bills are so high because of it! I don’t suggest anyone buy this. It takes a whole day to do one load. By that time I take the clothes out and have to ring them by hand and hang them to get all of the water out.

The app integration is seamless and is not intimidating or pushy. Most importantly, my clothes are clean and fresh. I started receiving complaints on how my old gym clothes smell. The only thing that changed is my new water softner and this amazing washer, a dynamic duo in my opinion! Just read the owners manual, follow the instructions explicitly, and register the manufacturer's warranty. Good to go!

Towels have been squeezed by hand in my house since I bought this garbage machine! Today I decided to test it, and even in the "spin only" cycle, the machine filled up with water SIX TIMES before I decided to end it and squeeze it all by hand! There's no adjusting the clothes inside the machine that can suffice, this is just trash! Save yourself the aggravation

Hola hace 15 días compre esta lavadora tristemente todo iba marchando bien lamentablemente, las bombas de agua dejan de funcionar, ejemplo la presión del agua es de buena calidad el motor o la bomba solo deposita el agua por 2 minutos y posteriormente deja de fluir el agua pero lo más raro es que el motor si esta funcionando pero solo hace un ruido como si seguirá depositando agua. Espero y Samsung me ayude con mi problema o alguien de ustedes que me ayude por favor. Mi lavadora la compre con mucha emoción y por recomendación.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly surprised by this Samsung washer. The digital display and settings options makes choosing the right settings really easy. The capacity of this washer is huge and without a middle agitator I’ve easily washed large and bulky items. It is deep and even though I’m tall I really have to reach for items at the bottom of the washers. A shorter person might have a hard time reaching. I am getting very clean clothes with minimal detergent. Overall I’m thrilled with this purchase!

Love the look of washer but not so happy about the way it works. Doesn't wring clothes enough, takes a long time for wash cycle. Not too happy with washer but learning to use it. Just wanted a washer that is easy to operate and wash clothes. I had a Samsung for almost 14 years and it was easy to operate, don't like the new and improved model.

Honestly it's a really good washer, the only thing I don't like about it is that the self cleaner is too frequent. After you've done a load of laundry the machine stays turned on and suggest the self cleaner, it's about an hour long cycle, which in my opinion is a waste, if only it didn't suggest it so frequently it'd be perfect. Overall it's great, plenty of room especially for those big loads. I've had no issues so far.

I love the cute series of tonations it plays at the end when my load is done - it is like it's singing me a song! My happy washer is glad the work is done. The washing machine is not functional at all, its axis is not strong enough when it spins to dry the clothes, it seems that you have to weigh each side to balance the clothes so that they do not stop, every time I wash clothes I have to arrange all the wings clothes so that the washing machine does not crash, I really feel robbed and a terrible team, the quality control of this team did not realize this, I personally hope that no one buys these washing machines anymore.

We linked ours up to let us know as soon as the cycles finish so we are never forgetting to finish our laundry in time. It's quiet, efficient and looks beautiful and sleek. This is my first non agitator washer and is much bigger and gets all our laundry done faster then ever. I love the unit and would purchase Samsung again. I got it during a promotion that added extra year of warranty to the unit and so far it's run wonderfully!

It came packaged very well to prevent damage during shipment. The wash is super quiet. I downloaded the SmartThings app so I can schedule when I want my laundry to be done by and it sends me a notification when the cycle is complete. There are 7 different washing options for my different washing needs. I really like the soft close lid and the crisp design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the Samsung Large Capacity Smart Top Load Washer DVE47CG3500W looks a bit different than what you normally see. They have a flat clean look that I like, For both units the Smart things app is cool. I particularly like the ability to remote start things. It is also nice to get an end of cycle warning. The washer is loaded. It has all sorts of cycles and I really liked the built in water tap. No need for a separate laundry sink to pretreat. It does well with vibration, and the lid closes slowly 9not smashing down. I was concerned about a top load washer, bit it is actually easier to move items to the dryer without dropping them on the floor. It looks good, self-cleans, and does everything well. The clear top is a cool feature, and I found myself watching the clothing being cleaned. Most important: It gets my dirty clothing clean.

Purchased on Black Friday deal, and I am loving this machine! I got the impeller version, and I love how much room the machine has. The best feature is that it links with Smart Things and I get a notification when my machine is done. No more forgetting to put the wash into the dryer and then having to rewash because I forgot… This is a great machine that cleans well and has great features and options!

I absolutely love my washer and dryer. After going 6 years without a washer and dryer and the extreme cost having to washer at the laundromat was insane. I love that I can fit my queen size comforters and the wash and dry time is not long as well. Definitely easy to setup and connect to the WIFI. With the detergent I use and the amount of wash settings I also notice how the stains are being removed.
