[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Flip6 before and now I change to Flip8. First thing I notice, the main screen is more wide than before, it feel more comfortable to use. Also the hinge, when I fold and unfold, the crease line on the screen almost cannot see anymore. Before on Flip6 I always feel it when I touch there but now it is really smooth, I was surprised. Cover display also got much bigger and resolution is really good. Before I only use it for check time or notification but now I can actually do more thing on it. One more thing, when I take photo using cover screen (for selfie with main camera), the preview looks more clear and sharp than Flip6. I don't know why but it just look better quality now. Overall I'm happy I upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Flip 8 simply for it's compact size and for it's 50 megapixel camera! I received the phone just in time for a big event of concerts all weekend. The phone was great to be able to squeeze into my pocket. Often times, I would have half in pocket and the other half latched to the outside of the pocket (folded in half). When I went to take pictures, however, I was surprised; the close up the camera is great, but videos and pictures are not 30 ft away are not good. The next day, I ordered an attachable telescoping lens to see if that would make a difference and while it did, I couldn't bring that to a concert and attach it every time I wanted a long distance photo/video of an artist. I did research online to compare the other phone brands because my previous Samsung phones pictures have received so many compliments on quality, lighting, vividness, etc. but I actually requested a friend to send me all of her photos and videos from the occasion. The rest of the phone, however, is working great. The eSim transfer from phone to phone including apps and contacts was nice, but I did have to login to all of the apps for the first time. Thanks for creating a compact design again. If the screen has any issues in the future, I'm sincerely hoping Samsung decides to do flip and fold phones still but with a divide between the screen! (like multiple tv's next to one another at a restaurant with one thing showing and spanning across all tv's like it is one tv)

I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. But I'm glad I chose to upgrade since this one feels better in a lot of ways: processing speed, weight, screen folding etc. I'm excited to explore more of this phone and get more out of it. I love that it's compact, that I can hang-up a call by closing the phone, and the camcorder function by holding it sideways was ingenious programming. I love a phone that grows with me and can handle my day-to-day while in my pocket. I will never, ever switch to another device as long as Samsung keeps refreshing this model but that Fold8 almost got me.

Even when I'm working, I can slightly flip the phone and keep it for video mode on without having to rely on anything else. My hands don't get tired of holding the phone. Plus Z flip 8 has some a cute feature of choosing multiple pictures for the lock screen, which helps me put pictures of my loved ones and reminds me of them whenever I look at my phone. Additionally, the phone is so light, the screen feels extremely good different and smooth. Even after flipping the phone, it doesn't show the line. Samsung has taken phones to some other level. Crazily in love with my new phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally upgraded from the Z Flip 5 to this after several years of reliable use (the battery was finally starting to give out). Overall greatly enhanced experience! Able to do a lot more on cover screen and the device is thinner and lighter (slightly wider, though). The screen quality is also noticeably better. I chose the Z Flip series over Razr because I'm more used to the Samsung system. I'm so happy they finally expanded the cover screen to surround the camera lenses on the Flip 7 and 8 like the Razr series has had for yesrs already.

The first thing I noticed was how much thinner and more refined it feels. It’s noticeably more comfortable to hold and carry, while still keeping everything I loved about the Flip form factor. The biggest improvement for me, though, is the battery life. With my Flip 6, I was always keeping an eye on the battery throughout the day. With the Flip 8, I can use my phone all day without constantly worrying about finding a charger. That alone has made a huge difference in everyday use. Overall, the Flip 8 feels like a much more polished and mature version of the Flip. It may look like an incremental upgrade on paper, but the thinner design and improved battery life make a surprisingly big difference in daily use. I’m very happy I upgraded. So worth it.

I love that it can be slipped in my pocket without half hanging out like most phones. Also, the Flip feature provides the personal nostalgia of my first Motorola flip phone. I use the Flip for checking work emails, access Teams, and attending Zoom meeting while traveling. It's a mini computer in your pocket.

My first flip phone was a samsung small red flip phone with a little antenna and tiny blue light on the top left whenever i get a message. 20 years later this flip 8 almost mimic my first one but it's better. The size is just right and of course everything else has been improved as far as technology, the esthetic and sound. I chose this creamy flip 8 phone and i couldn't be happier. I chose the Flip 8 because I get a new Flip phone every year, taking advantage of the trade in program offered by Samsung. They get better every year. Most notable of the improvements of the Flip 8 vs the Flip 7 is the speed and battery life. I know the battery power did not significantly change from last year, but it appears the processing speed change has had a positive effect on battery life. The refined cover screen's full App access, edge to edge screen and the return to Snapdragon chips convinced me to make the jump. The cover screen's size is perfect for checking messages/notifications and be productive at work without suddenly opening any social media apps and getting distracted. I was initially concerned about the crease in the center where the phone folds, since that's a common issue with foldables. This is the 8th generation, though, so hopefully Samsung has resolved it. I use the phone for both work and personal purposes, and it handles the switch between the two well!

So I get the best of both worlds. I really enjoy the front screen for quick peak at emails, messages and apps. This zflip8 really makes mobility with connection a must have. I feel free from from what seemed liked carrying a brick from the previous phones. They would stick out of your pocket with a bulky inconvenient carry. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

It's completely smooth and a visually stunning display. The move to make the front screen the entire front cover and more functional was the right choice. Time will tell if the screen holds up better than the 5, but overall the phone feels less fragile while also being sleeker. While it is larger than the Z Flip 5, it is thinner and still fits in the teeny tiny pockets they put on women's clothing. The camera quality is great and I can open multiple apps and stream or use Android Auto without the phone overheating. The battery seems to last significantly longer too. After a full day of use I'm at 71% compared to around 40% on my old phone.

I was nervous about giving up my S Pen but the novelty and practicality of the flip have definitely made up for it. I love how versatile the flip cover is and how you can use it with many apps while keeping your phone in the smaller format and I love how sleek and small the phone transforms but when open I have just about the same screen size as I did with my s25 ultra. I particularly I'm impressed with how unnoticeable the crease in the phone is when in use and open. In fact I almost forgot that the phone flipped the first day I was playing around with it because the crease is so undetectable if anyone has had hesitation now is a good time to get into it. Also coming from the s25 ultra I am loving how light and thin this phone is.

The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Integrating the apps and system with the new AI gives the ability to conceive, plan and execute my calendar, tasks, and events on time. I can fit is into my pockets and it doesn't slide out; Yet I have all the real estate of a larger size phone-- and a bit more that the prior z flip series without losing the convenience of the smaller folded size. I chose the flip lineup as they were comapct, easy to carry, and a fun gimmick. now, the Z Flip 8 has adressed the only thing i did not like about the flips so far, and that was the limited functionality of the front screen. i can use the front screen now as i would the main screen basically, which makes some tasks on the phone easier. one thing that really stood out was the refresh rate on the screen. its incredibly fast, almost the fastest ive ever seen on a phone. the crease is also practically invisible, and barely tangible during use when compared to the z flip 6. the only thing i have to critizise so far are the lame colours the phone comes in (i got mine in mint) but ultimately that is a minor thing. would recomend!

To start the design is great, the new features phenomenal. The Battery, well it sucks. I set up the phone and turned off all the addition stuff I don't normally use. Then I set up the power saving mode. Finally I'm not a huge user of apps just basic stuff. Im an older person so I'm not on tiktok/Insta/or any of the other social media. I play one game. My previous phone the flip 4 i would easily get 4 days out of the battery with regular use. This one im getting just over 2 at best. I can literally go to bed with it at 100% battery and wake up with it between 85 and 88% left. I guess the new AI features are eating up the battery but I dont even really use that. I have figured out how to fully turn that off to see if the battery life improves or not.

I have been using iOS since the but the Galaxy Z Flip 8 was so enticing that I had no choice but to come back. I chose to switch back to Android due to the compact portability of the Flip 8. So far I love it! I really like that I can scroll through TikTok and Facebook right on the cover screen! I have a lot to learn about this phone and I am eager to do so.

The camera quality is good ,smooth and colors so vibrant,video performance is amazing. I play games a lot and the flip did not over heat on me ,no lag and very responsive. The one thing I can't get over is how light weight it is and thin yet its still easy to open with one hand, I've noticed the spring in the the hinge, at a certain point on opening the flip, you can feel it open on its own and you can still fold it to watch movies without a problem on the small screen or just simply opening it too. I love on the small screen you can adjust the screen size or rotate the phone for any app without restrictions. Im so happy I upgraded I am loving my phone more and more each day.

I switched to the Flip 6 upon its launch, and I just received a new Flip 8. As someone who loves to stream videos and music, I appreciate the improved screen quality on the Flip 8 with no visible screen crease on the interior screen due to the titanium upgrade. The slightly larger overall size is a better fit for my hand while still compact enough to fit comfortably and securely in my pockets. I am using Gemini vs. Google assistant and it's a game changer for instant access to facts, information and tasking. Overall I am quite pleased with the Galaxy Flip 8 and if it's to be, future Galaxy Flip phones

As tempting as the other folds are, I needed a form factor that could condense into my small, women's pockets, little bags, and wristlet. I wanted to try a flip smart phone and after playing with a different kind for a bit, I found myself missing Samsung, whom I'd been with since 2006 when I got my first android phone. The quality is unmatched. No issues, the response is very quick and I have not had a single experience with the z flip 8 that hasn't been excellent. I highly recommend this phone as it's kind of like having 2 in one. A flip phone where you can use the outer screen for basically every function you'd need but you can also flip it open like the s series phones and get a different phone experience. A+ as always!
