I got the 40mm watch because it is the right size, I also got the hybrid band. Both combined looks great. I like several things from my watch, from heart rate, sleep mode to know how well I slept. Stress, ecg, and bpm are useful. I have used it to run, walk, do yoga, workout and I am really enjoying it. The LTE version is a plus since I do not need to carry my phone around to do things, like do samsung pay, play music, directions. There are a lot of features I like and most of them are the sport side since I like to be active, and I had a watch that almost did everything this one did except the stand alone such as make phone calls. I would like improvements; I use the NRC Nike app to go running and I cannot use this app on my watch or even link it somehow. The battery does not last more than one day when I am active, when I am not it lasts up to two days. Overall, it is a good watch,

The watch is big and shows off brightly colored faces and bands well. Its ECG reading even literally saved my life by detecting abnormal and even absent heart rhythm only to learn after being discharged from the hospital that I had suffered three heart attacks caused by my blood pressure dropping too low. Had it not been for the watch, I would've waited to call 911 and go to the ER and would've been dead.

This is my first time having a watch like this. I've always wanted one and finally decided to buy. It's a smart little watch, does what I wanted it too. Reply to messages etc and health apps. Only thing is I found the battery life is not that great, maybe because I use it to much. And it has apps that I don't want on it which is annoying. But having said this I do love it. I don't notice I have a watch on my wrist as its so comfortable. Might consider getting another one but a newer model hehe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this watch for Christmas and my experience with it has been amazing. The quality of the materials used look and feel very high quality. The band is soft and feels amazing while wearing. The actual device is just as great the screen is bright and easy to see in the sun and the screen in very responsive. The ui is great easy to use. The battery is great lasts me all day. But like every device it has some flaws like some apps are very limited for example SoundCloud, if you use the app version you have to connect to a Bluetooth device but if u go to the browser u can just play it from the speakers from the watch. Moving on to the browser, I like how you can scale the page but sometimes the scaling messes up and it zooms in super far even tho it's zoomed all the way out. It might just be user error I wish that the browser was updated for the watch. Even though it has some flaws the pros greatly out weigh cons and I believe it's a great choice if your looking for a samsung wearable.

Honestly didn't think I would get much use out of it but when I called my phone representative about a charge on my account she let me know about this great deal for the galaxy watch 4. I have used Samsung products since my very first flip phone and after telling me about all the cool features I figured I would give it a try and I am so glad I did! This watch is pretty stylish and it is super convenient! I love that I can have my phone in my pocket and still see and answer calls and texts. It comes in handy when I am driving or when I am out and about with my two kids and have my hands full. I love that I can use it to pay for things at the store and use my Google maps while I am driving. I also love all of the awesome health features it has and the fact that it keeps track of my steps and reminds me to get active when I sit too long. This is definitely the best tech purchase I have made in a while and honestly wouldn't expect anything less from a Samsung product.

I bought the Galaxy Watch 4 because I wanted the fitness elements of it. However, there's almost no point to it. If it records a 50 minute workout in time, the minutes that then add up in the heartrate monitoring section don't add up, and what's recorded in the heartrate monitoring then don't sync with the same numbers to the phone. Which means you might as well just make up what you think you did.

I don't know what's wrong with this watch, but it overheats when it's charging. As you can see in the pictures the bottom of the watch changed color due to extremely high temperature. I've contacted the Samsung support team and it's currently on the repair.

I also love how I can change the pictures that appear as the background. Its easy to track walking/working out, and makes me more aware of when I haven't taken many steps in a day(super perk working from home) I definitely feel something is missing when I forget to wear it. I've spent at least $100 in a two year battery life spam for 20 years, that's crazy. This year my battery watch died, OMG enough is enough I wasn't going to purchase another battery I decided to purchase a smart watch instead and I'm happier for it. My only complaint is the battery life, which I know samsung has improved with the galaxy watch 5. It lasts a long time on good days, however there are also times where I can't go a day without charging it. I have two suggestions for software. 1. Give more options for homescreen type. I miss the homescreen that came with the tizen watches with different home screens. 2. Give us the ability to switch the home and back buttons. The back button being on the top and the home button on the bottom made more sense to me and I really don't see a reason to not have that option.

Had the watch just over a week now. Everything has been working great in the most part given that it has just been released and I have all in all loved the watch however over the last day or so I started to notice that I could see my watch face on all screens. I tried turning it off and on again as per supports instructions but as you can see the burn is still on the boot screen. I've had always on display turned on during the day but I certainly wasn't expecting screen burn after a week. Very disappointing.

I'd like to see gboard and other Google products work without a constant notification to use samsung features. I should be able to use samsung features even if I'm using a Google product. A more responsive watch would also be great. I hate Apple products but their responsive feature is way better. It helps me to monitor my sleep patterns and let's me see that my boyfriend really exaggerated about my snoring. I also love how I have hands free calls and can text when I am walking around. This watch has helped me identify certain trigger points that effect my health and issues I have. Especially the blood oxygen and ecg monitoring. In combination with the heart rate monitoring that was already provided from the Watch 2, this has helped me take charge of things I thought I had no control over. The other regular features are awesome, too. I never miss a call or text. The only issue I have is with trying to text back with the watch, but I think that is a "me" problem. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this watch a few months ago and it's mostly been good to me. Be careful about ordering the 44mm version. I think it might be a little too large if you do strenuous activities such as weightlifting where sharply bending your wrist can occur. It can dig in. I think that getting the smaller version may help with that. I recommend putting a case on the watch as wear will quickly become visible on the metal edges near the glass screen. Otherwise it seems pretty durable.

I have purchased two Galaxy 4 watches. One silver and one Black. The silver one I have had 0 problems with it holds a charge, works great and everything just what I needed. The black one I sent to get a battery replacement because the battery wouldn't stay charged for more than 7 hours. Well even with the replacement battery it's not holding a charge more than 8 hours. I'm not sure what the problem is and since it is out of warranty sadly it is useless to me.

There is no fear of sweat damage or water damage due to sporting activities or extraneous work. It connects with my phone (galaxy s22 ultra) seemlessly, helps me locate my phone when not in close range and makes recieving calls easy. I have used it for over a year now and I don't have any worries. However, I would suggest that the next model be made to sync to the eSim and be able to recieve and make calls in the absence of the connected phone. If this feature has not been enabled yet in newer devices then I suggest that be done.

This watch is so comfortable, even wearing it while I'm sleeping I barely notice it. It's nice to be able to track how physically active I am throughout the day with it too! I love having this watch as a backup option for if I ever lose my phone or have my phone stolen. The only thing I wish would be improved is the battery life- it's good, but it could be better. I need to charge the watch a little bit every day. Besides this one little thing, the Galaxy Watch4 has really been a convenient thing to have.

Watch is decent, straps are rubbish. Only had the watch just over a month and the strap has split, contacted live chat and they said they can't do nothing as the 28 day could own period has ended. Owned a galaxy watch 3 for over a year and never had a problem with the strap, so definitely poor quality on the watch 4 straps. Will be buying a 3rd party strap as wouldn't trust the official samsung straps to last much longer than a month.

This watch is an amazing improvement over my Gear S3. Much more features, battery life is much better and also charges very fast. The Google designed OS is a welcomed change. I've also seen other reviews of over heating problems and I will say that I live in south east Georgia where the weather gets in the high 90's and not once have I had an overheating issue with my watch. Highly recommend this watch for anyone with a Samsung phone.

Previously I had a Samsung Gear s2, and with the TizenOS, it just never really felt like it was something to recommend. Recently I buckled down and bought a Samsung Watch 4, and it has exceeded my expectations. It's super fast, awesome screen quality, great for activitie reminders and inspiration, and overall a very decent product. I've always been worried about getting my electronics wet, and I decided I'm going to treat this watch how it was designed and so far I've been able to swim and shower without it having any issues. If you're looking for a good watch for a bit cheaper than the new Samsung Watch 5, I'd definitely recommend this one.

Its fast and can get things done in a pinch the health app design is great and I like to keep up with my blood pressure and just other little things when I'm able. The only thing I can think of that I don't like is the battery life. Even with the power saver on I can only make it through about half a day on a full charge. Thats about the only downfall I can think of since I've been using it. All in all it's great to have and useful just to tinker with and figure out. It was worth the purchase and the wait time for shipping.

It will be a challenge to go back to a normal watch. This watch is really nice, there are many watchfaces available. I have the LTE version, and it is comforting to know that if I forget my phone, I can switch over from Bluetooth mode to LTE mode. I enjoy utilizing the step tracking technology, which is very accurate. I also enjoy utilizing the sleep tracker, along with the oxygen sensor which gives me insight on my sleep health. I bought this watch three weeks ago and it's awesome. With bluetooth it connected to my galaxy phone with ease. I can leave my phone in one room and get notified from my watch of a text or an incoming call. Also, this watch tracks my steps and heart rate. It doesn't take long to charge and it holds its charge for a good amount of time so for the most part it charges a bit while I'm getting ready in the morning, once I'm at my desk when I come home from work. And that's it. The sleep tracking works excellent and I've never had any issues with it. I've taken calls from it perfectly fine with the other party surprised that I even was using a watch due to how good the quality is. And the amazing 44 mm screen gets nice and bright. It is such a time saver to see the notifications on my phone without having to pull my phone out of my pocket to see if it's important or not. I also love that it works with my galaxy buds pro and I'm able to control them with the watch instead of my phone so it makes changing from noise canceling to ambient much easier. I also realy love that I can use a custom image for my watch face. The only con I see with the watch is the band but even then it's not much of an issue just that there could be more levels of adjustment.

I can pay for items using the Samsung pay app on the watch, listen to music and books and change the way my watch face looks. I work around water constantly and use the water lock feature pretty regularly as well as make and receive calls on it when I'm too busy to pull out my phone. This watch has done everything I needed in a watch and more!! I will definitely be getting another Samsung watch when it's time to retire this one but I don't see that happening anytime soon!

The battery lasts me all day and than I just throw it on the wireless charger for a bit and I'm good to go again. I love the find my phone feature and probably use it at least once a day as I tend to misplace it often. The ability to use my watch to take pictures, answer calls and texts as well as searching the web is amazing. It's also held up very well as I've gotten it wet several times and even submerged it in the hot tub and sink washing dishes a couple of times forgetting I had it on. Over all I'm very happy with the watch and plan on upgrading at some point but for now it's worth every penny and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I read a lot of reviews in particular that made me nervous regarding the battery life, but I can comfortably say I forget to charge this thing all the time without issues! I can easily go over a day without charging and still see I have plenty of battery left to last me into the next! I still have all my favorite features set how I like them, and find the interface extremely easy to use! It's comfortable but still light weight, and all around one of my favorite galaxy purchases yet! Makes me wish I'd gotten a smart watch sooner. Even with a screen protector on the watch works amazingly well!

The interface is so vivid and clean and the bigger screen makes it much more visible and useable, definitely an upgrade from the watch active 2. I love using it for my workouts and love having the information right at my wrist. Love using the new features that have come with it like the blood oxygen feature as well as the new body composition. These types of things are very important in my life and happy to have those features!

I've the GPS/wifi version, and I'm very happy with it. I can answer the phone if it's not handy - yes, even when taking a shower. It's ok to check plain text messages and initiate phone calls. With the basic functions you can add timers, alarms, check the weather, calendar, access to Outlook email, and it seems about it. I hope in the future it can have access to WhatsApp and Facebook's Messenger, maybe without gif's or pictures because you can only see them when you get a notice. I also like that you can have access to some quick launches like a calculator, which comes in handy to check prices at a store.

This watch is just a pain. Most days the battery can last a whole day, some days can't even make it to midday, and I charge every night. If you then put it on charge the phone goes in the huff as it cannot connect and drains the phone battery. Which idiot designs such a setup? I currently have both the phone and watch charging for the second time today due to this stupid arrangement. The fitness tracker is nowhere near accurate, it is about 2000 steps short on a normal day and cannot track cycling at all. It overheats and switches off even just sitting on my wrist doing nothing, done it today in my car at 15C! How did it manage to overheat?

I got this watch with my z fold 3 in Dec. and it is a daily battle to get my watch to notify me through vibration or sound when I have a message or email. It will vibrate once or twice and then stops notifying me again. It will notify me when I use the map on my phone while driving. I have tried everything in the help section in every website. What is this watch good for if it does not notify me about anything. Oh it will show that there was a message and call or email but no notification. This sucks so frustrated. It looks like I am not the only one with this problem many blogs with same issue. Please fix this or will have to get another brand

I started with the Gear S2 and when it started having some issues (after 7+ years), I started looking to upgrade and I'm couldn't be more happy with another smart watch. It does everything my old one did, and then some! It's super durable, easy to set up and use, it's the perfect size, and the battery life is amazing (it lasts all day and then some!) I love that I can take calls on it and the sound is crystal clear (on both ends!) I'll definitely stick with Samsung, when this watch goes out (which is hopefully many years from now!)

The design is sleek and modern, and the display is clear and vibrant. The health tracking features are impressive, sometimes it doesn't really accurate with steps and provide valuable insights into my daily activity and well-being. The integration with my smartphone is convenient, allowing me to stay connected on the go. The battery life is decent, but there are days when I wish it lasted just a bit longer. Additionally, while the watch faces are customizable, I would appreciate even more variety. Also, you cant REALLY do much with the watch, Despite these minor concerns, the Galaxy Watch 4 is a solid smartwatch that enhances my lifestyle.

Since I started using it is helped me lose 55 pounds by allowing me to better record. My workouts and to challenge myself every day to either get the same amount of calories lost or to increase the calorie loss. It also comes in handy for me to just answer calls whenever I do not have all of my hands availittle about using the gestures. It's also a time saver whenever I just need a quickly respond to a text message. I can even load it with my own pre typed messages.

The Galaxy Classic watch is all this and that, but it spends more time charging than on my wrist. I had the previous Galaxy Watch which lasted poss 2 and a bit days before charging it, and twist the wrist and it lights up to show time, maybe with power saving on. But the new 1 doesn't do that with power saving on. Need to turn it off to do that and then watch literally lasts 8hrs with power saving off and bout 12hr with it on. But if strip it back to BASIC WATCH mode, apparently it lasts for several days! If you don't mind wearing a watch for a couple of hrs a day then leaving it on charge, buy it! If not, i recommend not buying it!

Samsung product are far superior, especially in workmanship to the "other fruit" products. I beat this thing up on the daily and it just keeps giving what I need out of it. I love the automatic workout notice, steps, EKG, stress monitor, and water lock. I've been in the bottom of the pool with this thing. Zero issues. My favorite feature is the find my phone. I lose it constantly, but always have my watch on so that feature is used OFTEN. We are a Samsung family for life! 2 tablets, 4 watches, 4 phones and 3 earbuds.

The battery life is only around 2 or 3 days with average things turned on (no constant biometric scans, screen of after x seconds, etc) One thing that's been bothering me a bit is that the screen doesn't always turn on when I turn it to face me, it could just be a setting somewhere to adjust the sensitivity? Everything else has worked as expected. Side note, this watch and apparently other samsung watches use bands that had a special end so they're not cross compatible. That also means a generic watch band will not look as good as the Samsung shaped ones.

But it has been very useful not just as a literal watch for the time, but to quickly read certain notifications on my phone such as incoming calls and messages. I also like to track my sleep somewhat and it has been helpful in that aspect as well. Though I can't really speak to how accurate it counts how long I am in different stages of sleep, it has been good at just getting total time I am asleep pretty accurately. The battery has also been good enough for my use, I end up anywhere from 30-50% near the end of the day depending on what I am doing. Though I do still have to charge it daily mostly.

I've had this watch for about two weeks now and the battery life really sucks it doesn't last a full day. I upgraded from the galaxy active watch and I could've have honestly kept it. The watch face selection is terrible I never had to download extra things to be able to use my watch. It also doesn't receive all of my text messages I'll receive them on my phone but not my watch and it will be connected. I'm not impressed at all by this watch. Smh very disappointed. I'm considering sending it back and keeping my galaxy active. I'm usually very impressed by Samsung but not this time and I don't like how the app selection is set up like the apple watch.

This is an amazing watch. I came from the apple watch series 3 and have fallen in love with the galaxy watch 4. I love all of the features on this device. The challenge with friends, and the in depth health analysis. I spend a ton of time on my health app. I like it much more than apples. I would recommend this watch to anyone, especially if you're looking to keep track of your health. The only thing I am struggling with is how to get my bedtime wakeup alarm to buzz only my watch and not my phone. But other than that, I don't have any complaints.

I needed a watch for work to tell time (no surprise there) and access to texts was appealing. I thought the other features would become useful/fun as I discovered them, but they aren't for me. The main advantage seems to be the athletic/health stuff and I didnt get into that. It's bulky on my small wrist and the bands are expensive. It seems like a sturdy product as I've banged it around and washed dishes with no trouble. But if you won't use the health/fitness features, it's probably not worth the money. It lags occasionally long enough that I read the wrong time. Battery seems good. Still worth a high rating, it's just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really great features. Easy to use. Supports more apps now that it uses the Google Play store for apps. Love that it can detect snoring. Also like that I can monitor my Oxygen saturation throughout the night. Alot of people would probably find this super useful especially if they have sleep apnea so they can monitor if they are getting enough oxygen at night. Very nice design as well. I did get a different band for it as I like cloth bands but it's super easy to change out the band. The original band wasn't bad just like a softer band. Overall I love it and I find it to definitely be an upgrade from the Galaxy Watch 3 that I had traded in for this one.

Very disappointed in this product. I loved my original galaxy watch and decided to "upgrade" to the galaxy watch 4 classic. It wasn't an upgrade. With all the features enabled my original galaxy watch would still be around 50% battery after 24 hours. With the same settings on the watch 4 it's not even close. The last two days its not even making it 20 hours. The apps in the watch don't seem to be the battery drain, so it's either the sensors or the operating system. The sensors in the original watch didn't kill the battery that bad, so I'm guessing it's the OS on the watch 4. Wear OS is not an upgrade to Tizen, there aren't that many watch apps in the play store, and most of them are just step counters, calorie trackers, or music players. How many of those do you need? Still no Google Assistant, and really that's not going to be that big a deal anyway.... it's a watch. Samsung would be better off ditching Wear OS and going back to Tizen, we all know Google will stop developing Wear OS anyway, just like most of the other projects they release. The extra features the watch 4 has over the original watch just aren't that important. ECG is not really that useful, Body Composition is not that accurate, and Blood Pressure isn't even available in the US. Today is the last day I could return this watch. I'm probably going to keep it and see if samsung can save it through software updates, but I'm not hopeful. In the meantime, I'll go back to my original galaxy watch and know it will be there all day for me.

As an automotive technician my days are rough on my arms and watches. I have not been gentle with it. I have had it for a year and a half now and the screen hasn't chipped or cracked. No other watch I have owned has been able to put up with the abuse this watch has. it is a great way to track my fitness goals. I love being able to track my heart rate and blood oxygen level. The blood oxygen feature is fantastic. My daughter has asthma and we have used my watch to monitor her oxygen levels during coughing fits to be sure she is getting enough oxygen.

I really like the features on this watch, but I was going to use the google pay more than any other features on the watch, the problem is I can't. I have the latest firmware on my watch and the latest rom on my s21 ultra. However when i install gpay it disables itself after a while and also dont give me the option to choose default payment method as gpay. Samsung openly admitted this problem many months ago, which i didn't know at the time when i purchased my watch 4 classic. Still no fix, I've tried all the suggested fixes none of them worked. I would happily use Samsung pay but none of my cards support it. I am very disappointed

I bought this watch last year. 4 days later I took it back to exchange it. It was over heating and the battery was dying. They gave me a new one. This one does not over heat however does not keep a charge. I've done everything recommended to keep battery health. I charged this last night, woke up put it on charge again bc I know better. I went to the gym, n it has died. Mid work out. Died. I get charging every night... but this is crazy. On a good day I get about 16 hours of use. On a bad day... an hour. -_- I'm hoping they updated this issue. Bc it is known! I hope they have fixed the new ones bc this watch has amazing potential.

This was a birthday present for our 14 year old son in December 2022, immediate charging issues, sent back for repair (not replacement repair). It came back a week later and still only makes it through 7 hours with luck - that is with all features, GPS, wifi etc..etc.. turned off. The main reason for the purchase was the GPS & LTE phone capabilities (so his Samsung phone could be left at home) - and we can't use that ! Also the build quality is very cheap, screen scratched in 2nd day - All 5 of us are Samsung users, phones, Galaxy watch (originals) - I recently got a watch pro which is great.. But am exceptionally disappointed in this watch 4 - garbage

Taking photos and making them into watch screens is amazing! The fitness features really help with keeping track and help elevate your workout. But the only down fall I have is using the water feature, when you're in water is not that great. I've learn that the water feature doesn't help with keeping the watch functioning properly after use. So I would recommend NEVER wear in the pool. Becausevyour watch will not working properly a good long while after.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the smaller version of this watch and am glad that I did. Anything larger and the bezel would be digging into the bottom of my wrist. In terms of features I would say there are many of them. Recently catching Covid the oxygen level was really nice peace of mind. The along with tracking and steps the water reminder and EKG help with maintaining a healthy life style and reduce stress. Furthermore, the batter easily lasts the entire day but does requires charging overnight. One issue is that the physical bezel is gone which can make it difficult to scroll through the apps, and it easily is scratched so I would highly recommend getting a cover for it.

It's so very useful especially in the kitchen when you have your fingers dirty, all you have to do is some wrist movements to answer calls. Love that it keeps track of your steps and especially love when it buzzes and notifys you that you've been sitting to long and to get up and get moving. I also like that you can use it to take pictures from your phone, useful for all family trips! Literally a phone in the shape of a watch!
