Everytime after I type in a symbol (by holding down the 'shift' key while pressing a key from the number row), the text cursor (aka caret) moves to the beginning/ 1st word of my sentence and starts placing the words I type after the symbol there. I don't know if the problem is coming from the tablet or the keyboard or if its a settings issue, but when I type through the on-screen keyboard, I have no problems. I was excited getting this item with my s9 ultra tab purchase, but it looks like I'm going to have to spend even more money now by purchasing a new Bluetooth keyboard to replace this one if I can't find a solution for this problem.

The keyboard is fine, but only if you have a lighted area. Without being backlit, it is impossible to see what is where. Fortunately, you can bring up the on-screen keyboard, but that kind of defeats the purpose of an attached keyboard. It makes the attached keyboard just an added weight and redundancy I don't need to carry. The feel of the keys is good and I do use it a lot when there is adequate lighting. It can be a bit awkward to hold with the added thickness and weight. I also do not care to be touching moving keys in the tablet configuration. For an added bonus piece for purchasing the S9 Ultra, it is fine. Would I purchase it on my own? No, there are cheaper options with the backlit feature.

What a dumb design. Basically, this keyboard is a high quality item that effectively transforms your tablet into a laptop; however, the problem is the keyboard isn't removable. That means having this keyboard-case attached effectively loses all ability to be used as a tablet, so a tablet that can't be used as a tablet with this keyboard-case. Ponder. It's gathering dust on my shelf, as I got this for free, while I put on a real case that protects my tablet, and allows me to use my tablet as a tablet. 2/5 +1 star because it's a very high quality item.

The pro's for this book cover are that it's light and pretty thin so it doesn't add much weight for taking the tablet on the go and it's handy to store the s-pen when it's in its charging position. Also, it is nearly half the price of the more expensive cover they sell. On the con's side the keyboard doesn't have much feedback and the travel is pretty thin. Also, it is not backlit as the more expensive model is. Finally, I wish that the magnets were a bit stronger since if you're not careful while unfolding it for use it may come loose.

I bought this a little less than a week ago, and don't have really any positive feedback. I'm really disappointed. The product is very flimsy and thin, keyboard lags VERY badly when typing, you cannot adjust the screen or even reposition your legs when it's on your lap or your Galaxy Tab falls off. When your Tab is attached it is very unsteady, wobbling back and forth, disconnecting from base when you type or even move a muscle. I recently switched from my iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard to this, which was a major downgrade (the keyboard, not tablet). Another downfall is it not having a trackpad, and costing double the price for one that does. Considering the poor quality of this, im scared to even try the other version. I wish I would've loved it.

I tried 6 times to write this review on the Tab S9 Ultra with the keyboard, but Everytime I couldn't get even two short words (I like) typed before it would close the form. I like the idea of the slim keyboard cover, but there are major issues with it. In addition to the problem mentioned above, the connection between the tablet and the keyboard is not as consistent as I was used to with my Tab S7+ that I traded in. I'm also having problems getting used to the key spacing, but haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what the issue is yet.

The quality of the keyboard didn't really meet my expectations. The keyboard works and is functional, but there are times where the mouse cursor will completely disappear and I would have to re-attach the keyboard for it to show up again. Also, whenever I would type in a word on the Google Chrome search engine, the letters would get mixed up and I would have to rewrite the word all over again, but then it would work fine afterwards. Im not sure if anyone else is having this problem or if it's just my keyboard.

An exquisite piece of true Garbage. If the beautiful Galaxy S9 Tab Ultra fails in the Marketplace, it will be because of this keyboard. I retired my Apple M1 iPad with its beautifully crafted Apple Magic Keyboard for the same price as the Samsung. The difference is more than night and day. Samsung went to great links to make this the worst design keyboard on planet earth. Think I’m just picky? Look at the number of one star ratings; not only on here but everywhere else on the Internet.

This keyboard cover is the 1st I've ever used & it works great. The magnet is suprisingly strong & the cover actually protects the tablet. I droped it a few days ago from about 5 feet onto the concert with no issues. I have the Galaxy Book S as my daily driver, but after getting the Gaxaxy Tab S9 Ultra with this keyboard cover I've been using it instead of my Book S. Outside of needing a hotspot its been a seamless transition. (Samsung Tab S10 Ultra LTE Hint Hint)

So this keyboard feels good with your paws on top of it. Key functions feel good, keyboard looks good in general (no it isn't waterproof or resistant rated like the tablet is). The backlighting is a nice touch (doesn't stay lit until you press something on it just so you know). I use my tablet for editing YouTube videos, so having this keyboard was a must! I only wish it was much cheaper as this thing just cost a fortune. Other then that, I highly recommend.

I am upgrading from a S7+ Tablet to this one, and thought the keyboard would be a similar design. the HUGE problem with this design vs the keyboard from the S7+ is that you always have to have the keyboard connected, which makes it inconvenient to use the tablet as a tablet. If I just want to use the tablet, then I need to remove it from the cover, which then leaves the pen exposed. Please consider adapting the prior design - it worked much better

Love the fact that it protects my tab s9 ultra, and i have the accessibility to a keyboard with ease. Nice slim compact holder keeping my stylist and tablet together. Definitely a must have. My only complaint is the keys on the keyboard sometimes don't register when typing. I have found that you have to press the keys a little harder than i like. All in all Definitely reccomend if you are planning on purchasing this awesome tablet.

This cover case is a world of improvement compared to the previous one on my Tab S7 FE. The addition to a track pad is wonderful. Works just like a laptop keyboard. The adjustable stand on the back is great. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it feels sturdy for now. Only down side to that, is that it didn't sit in your lap well, unless you have pretty long legs. On a TV and normal table though, it's perfect.

Got this product on 2023. OK at first, but it just didnt wear well. The touch pad stopped working, then a couple of keys,, if I had 2 consecutive letters, would only print the first. After only 2 years, I dunked it and sm about ready to junk the S9 Tablet. It's 2 years old now, but is jus. It a Laptop replacement. Maybe the be ones are better, but buying the S9 and keyboard were a real mistake.

Returned the slim cover. It's ok of you don't ever need the keyboard removed. But I need my tablet propped up on a side table beside me for work and this just did not work for our needs. Saving for the insanely priced upgrade one. When I got the tab 8 ultra, the cover with detachable keyboard was only 99 bux, I don't think the same keyboard cover for the 9 ultra justifies the 350% price increase.

My biggest issue with it is the responsiveness of the keys. I'm very used to tablet size keyboards. I don't know if it's software or hardware but it has an extremely annoying habit of doubling or tripling letters if you're typing fast. I don't have this issue with any other keyboard. It makes it very frustrating to use for any extended writing. Second, I owned this item's predecessors for the S7 & 8. Those keyboard cases had a textured feel, like plastic trying to imitate leather. This model however is smooth plastic, and besides being a little slippery also picks up fingerprints and any slightest amount of dirt. It feels cheap. Additionally, this has been traveling in my laptop bag for 6 months and the corners are turning white. Totally not worth it for the price. The only plus, and reason I'm still using it, is I like the foldout stand on the back and hate the off-brands with the triangular folding stand.

Previously, for my tab s 8 plus, I used the standard book cover keyboard with a trackpad which allowed the screen to be propped up at any angle. The slim keyboard Can only hold the screen at one angle. So far it works ok, but I prefer the other style. I just think the standard keyboard cover is too expensive. The slim cover was part of a package, so free was a good price.

For what you are getting it's clearly over priced. Samsung needs to integrate the kick stand into the tablet. Especially for one as large as the ultra. It's effectively unusable without one. Which requires you to buy this pricey keyboard case. The stand works well enough, lots of adjustment, sturdy, strong magnets hold it to the back, and safe storage for the pen. The keyboard is long and a bit flimsy. Won't work on your lap and the table surface needs to be completely flat. Keys are responsive as is the touchpad. Is large and smooth. The backlight is a nice touch. The biggest negative is the touchpad/keyboard will intermittently stop responding while charging. This has happened with multiple Samsung tablets and keyboards. Otherwise it's still the best keyboard for the galaxy tablets, it just needs more improvement if it wants to justify the price and catch up to the iPads quality and functionality.

Love the convenience and fit of the S9 Ultra book cover. Attaches magnetically for ease of installation and removal (if needed). I love the fact that everything attaches magnetically so it is also easy to remove if necessary. I did some recentflying and was extremely glad to have this tablet for viewing movies on something larger than a deck of cards.

I like this keyboard. Very sleek, very slim, doesn't add much thickness to the tablet at all. My only downsides are it's slightly smaller than a standard keyboard so it's a little tough to get used to normal typing, and the lack of a mouse pad (or maybe I just haven't figured it out). Other than those, it's a well adaptive tablet keyboard.

Works well and very slim. Doesn't increase the bulk of the tablet, which I love. Sometimes the magnet releases if I open it in a hurry and my tablet slips out but that just reminds me to slow ddown. Keyboard is a lifesaver for me and I love the full-sized keys. Wish there was a touchpad, but I have a bluetooth mouse that works just fine.

The quality is acceptable but the functionality is very poor. The keyboard suffers from random dropouts, disconnects, and text deletes. I have found it almost unusble at times and then it seems to perform as designed; then not - frusturating. I do a google search and it appears to be a known problem.

Hinge broke after six months. Had this product for a previous tablet with no complaints. This one however, quickly broke under light use and is becoming useless with no options from Samsung. I don’t use the tablet much because I hate the book cover keyboard. It does not adjust well with the flimsy back flap and the magnetic hold is garbage. The keyboard itself is not bad but it is not backlit - for what they charge it is absolute hot garbage. If I could give is -10 stars I would.

Flimsy. Keyboard bounces causing me to double type letters. I didn't realize this didn't have a trackpad when I bought it. Scrolling in Google Doccs with the pen is a pain. Instead of scrolling, it wants to highlight lines of text, so I'm really annoyed I overlooked the trackpad.
