[Windows 8] Changing the Settings to High-performance Graphics.

     For PC Modes that Support NVIDIA Optimus Technology

Right click an empty space on the desktop.

 

.

 

Click 'NVIDIA Control Panel’ → 'Manage 3D Settings' →

Select 'Global Settings' tab.

 

.

 

Choose 'High performance NVIDIA processor' under

'Preferred graphics processor' option.

 

.

Click 'Apply' button to complete the changes in settings.

 

.

Click 'Program Settings' tab.

 

.

 

Choose a program you want create 3D settings from

'Select a program to customize'.

 

.

 

If you don't find a program, uncheck the 'Show only programs

found on this computer' box.

 

.

 

After choosing a program, go to 'Select the preferred graphics processor

for this program', and then select 'High performance NVIDIA processor'.

 

.

Click 'Apply' button to complete the changes in settings.

 

.

 

 

 

     For PC Models that Support AMD PowerXpress Technology

 

 

.

Right click an empty space on the desktop.

 

.

Click 'Configure Switchable Graphics'.

 

.

 

Click ‘Graphics Settings’ under ‘Recent Applications’,

and then click 'High performance’.

 

.

If you want to add other apps, select 'Add Application' button to add.

 

.

Click 'Apply' button to complete the changes in settings.

 

.

Click 'Switchable Graphics Global Settings'.

 

.

 

Change ‘Global Application Settings’ of both ‘Battery’ and

‘Plugged In’ to 'Maximize Performance'.

 

.

Click 'Apply' button to complete the changes in settings.
