1. What is Samsung Care+ device group insurance and support package bundle?
Samsung Care+ device group insurance and support package bundle is a comprehensive one-stop device protection for your insured Galaxy with support services provided, plus all your Samsung devices and appliances in your household for up to 2 years. You may choose one of the following:
- 1 Year accidental & liquid damage with device support package
- 2 Years accidental & liquid damage & 1 Year extended warranty with device support package
This insurance is provided and underwritten by Tune Insurance Malaysia Berhad under group policy issued to Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd, assisted by Bolttech agent, Bolttech Device Protection Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
2. What are the benefits of Samsung Care+?
Samsung Care+ benefits include:
- Repairs for accidental and liquid damage while extended warranty covers inherent mechanical and electrical defects after manufacturer's warranty expires.
- Device replacement in the case your broken device cannot be repaired.
- Repair concierge service for all Samsung smart devices in your home.
- Free onsite pick-up and delivery for your damaged device.
3. What is the difference between Samsung Care+ and Samsung Manufacturer's Warranty?
Samsung Care+ provides device insurance for accidental/liquid damage and extended warranty for your insured Galaxy plus support services for all Samsung devices in your home for up to 2 years. The extended warranty insurance is an extension of Samsung Manufacturer's Warranty which is only available for the 2 year plan. Samsung manufacturer's warranty covers inherent mechanical and electrical defects only.
4. How do I purchase Samsung Care+?
Getting covered is easy. You can buy Samsung Care+ upon purchasing your new Galaxy or within 30 days of your new Galaxy's activation. Just choose to buy it from:
- Samsung Care+ Online Portal if you have purchased your new Galaxy.
- Samsung eStore, add your preferred Galaxy to cart and check out with Samsung Care+ at the same time.
- Visit the nearest stores (Samsung Experience Store, Samsung Authorised Retailers, Urban Republic). Our sales expert will register Samsung Care+ for your new Galaxy through our retail portal upon payment made.
- For Galaxy with One UI 6.1 and above, simply navigate to About Phone under Phone Settings, select Samsung Care+ and you'll be redirected to Samsung Care+ Online Portal. Alternatively, you may click on the Suggestion section.
5. Where can I check my Samsung Care+ coverage?
To learn more about your device protection coverage and scope of support services, you may refer to the certificate of insurance and terms of service in your confirmation of cover, sent to your registered email upon registration.

- Phone Settings > About Phone > Samsung Care+
- Samsung Members App > Support > Samsung Care+

6. How do I make a Samsung Care+ claim?
You can visit https://my.careplus.co or call 03 9078 4999.
- You can choose to have it picked up from your location or go to any Samsung Authorised Service Centre to deliver your Galaxy.
- We will get your Galaxy repaired through our nationwide network of Samsung Authorised Service Centre.
7. How do I track the status of my claim?
You can call 03 9078 4999 to track the status of your request. Otherwise, our Samsung Care+ service team will contact you via email, sms or phone call to keep you updated on the progress from time to time.
8. When will my Samsung Care+ expire?
Your Samsung Care+ will expire at the end of the plan terms that you have chosen, either 1 year or 2 years from the date of purchase.
The Samsung Care+ will be terminated if:
- Your insured phone's IMEI number has been removed or altered.
- Your insured phone has been repaired by a service centre that is not a Samsung's Authorised Service Centre.
- You have exhausted the maximum claim limit available.
9. What is not covered by Samsung Care+?
We advise you to read the full terms and conditions before purchasing. Some of the key exclusions to our coverage are:
- Wear-and-tear from daily use
- Replacement / support for any data stored in the device
- Damage arising from unauthorised software / virus and software faults
- Failure of device to operate due to network infrastructure or subscription service issues
