I've never had such a good android tablet. The Galaxy Tab S8 is awesome. I've always been an android guy, I dislike apple but this android tablet is phenomenal. Everything loads up right as you touch it, and the fluidity of the animations have gotten a lot better over time. If you need a laptop or android tablet replacement this is a very good choice. There's an option to use it in a computer like interface called, "Samsung Dex." It's a great option for those who want to use it as a laptop. Battery life is great too! Lasts me the whole day and sometimes a whole week based of usage. All in all, its a great tablet and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I bought the Galaxy Tab S8 to help me at work. I use it a lot for taking notes in meetings and then have them with me on my phone or tablet whenever I need them. This is a huge win...
It's also great when I am on site with a customer to easily look at excel reports, word docs or even refer back to my notes.
Battery life is great, pen stylus feel is quick and natural, screen is very bright in outdoor setting.
Many people have commented on the Tab S8 and I'm sure have purchased one for themselves. It just a great tool for work and it saves me time while making me quicker.
PS... I do use it to stream music and TV at home especially on the deck.

I got this tablet originally to only read and highlight pdf ( I already have a surface laptop but needed something smaller specifically for reading). However, once I realized the connectivity advantages I could get when using it along my phone and laptop on apps like notes it has quickly replaced most of my folders and notebooks that I would usually take to class.
I got the basic option because like I previously mentioned I only intended to use it for reading, so I can't expand on how comfortable it is for typing or trying to edit a pdf. But, I will say that this little tab has made my work/school life a lot more easier (organizing wise)

This is definitely a premium device. I've had some A series tablets before, and boy, is this a huge step up.
The large battery and quick charging are something that I noticed immediately. This is the biggest complaint I've had with tablets in the past.
The speed of the device and clarity of the screen are most welcome. I use a tablet for productivity, and this S8 never keeps me waiting.
I was a bit concerned about the S Pen and how it attaches. After using the device for a bit now, this seems a pretty thoughtful design, with the magnet being strong enough to keep the pen in place. I would still recommend a case which protects the S Pen, however.

I use my S22 ultra as my daily driver for all the tasks, calls, messaging, email. Best part is gaiming, no ther phn is as good as Samsung when it comes to gaming, especially the screen is amazing.
I use my Tab S8 for the productivity, emails, editing, gaming and work calls. Great camera positioning for my zoom calls.
Buds 2 pro are my fav ear phones when it comes to sound and noise cancelation. Best part is everything can be controlled through the buds.
Lastly, I love my Galaxy Book 3 laptop for seamless connectivity with rest of the accessories and powerful enough to run my coding tasks.
Overalls, the best eco system to go for.

I needed a tablet specifically for note taking, mainly handwritten, for business.
Tab S8 is great! Perfect shape ratio, amazing integration with the S pen (which works great with my S21Ultra, too!)
And what about the rest?
Great for multimedia: 4 speakers are very good for movies and music...for movies you will probably miss an Amoled display...yes, this is basically the only flaw of this great tablet...but not a game stopper, this LCD is still very good!
Battery life is good... unfortunately handwriting for 5-6 hour per day is a battery killer, but I can do at least 1.5 days of heavy work with a battery run.
Very good tablet, suggested for everyone!

My girlfriend's family recently bought this the Galaxy Tab S8 for use with school but also some video watching and art. The screen is crisp and smooth and is a perfect size for any kind of gaming or video watching. The pen that came with the device is outstanding as well and it's awesome being able to use different drawing apps with such precision in the strokes you make. The touch sensitivity detector on the pen is also great as you can make lighter or heavier strokes depending on the amount of pressure you use. Overall, we've been very happy with the performance of the Galaxy Tab S8 and it's pen and would give it a solid 10/10.

I have had this device for a month now and I am using it extensively. My primary reason of getting the device was to be able to remotely access my work station (desktop pc) because of my work. I didnt quite expect to use the S8 beyond that and maybe to brows the web. I was quite pleasently surprised by the multi-screen/split-screen capabilities as well as by the S Pen. The smoothness and versatility of the split-screen is great especially when you are on the go and dont have two monitors available. The S Pen and its responsiveness is as close as you can imagine a digital pen can be to the actuall pen and paper. In conclusion, i wish that i got the S8+ or ultra.

I use my S8 for searches. For E-books, streaming, online news feeds, YouTube for information, instruction, how-to, tech reviews.
Google maps for location, places to stay and things to do and of course directions.
Being able to open multiple apps at once, in regular Android or DEX can be a big help.
I really appreciate the S pen as it adds another level of use.
As I am retired, I don't need all of the capabilities one might use for work, but I really like this tablet as it provides what I need on a daily basis and I continue to learn more about the myriad of features available.
I just updated to this tablet from the S5e a couple months ago and very pleased with the upgrade.

Easy to pair Bluetooth devices like earbuds and controllers to. As far as watching videos on the Tab S8, I have to say I enjoy watching them on them on it more than my laptop mainly because of ease of use and the speakers. There're louder than I expected and clear enough that I can hear and understand the conversations on the videos from 2 rooms away. I recommend this for anyone that wants something between a top-tier smartphone and a laptop.

I was originally in the market for a fold device, thinking it would be nice to have a device that would do everything. In truth, having a pocketable s22 and a separate device that very easily connects to my phone was just a better option. After purchasing keyboard and connecting a mouse this device makes it powerful combination for me to use for work. It also gives me a place to offload some of my work photos nice because I need to keep them. My one gripe os browser based copy and paste which doesn't work in some places that works in Windows based browsers. No regrets in my purchase though.

I'm a current owner of the Tab S8 and loving it. I love the different features. I had to get this tablet because my last tablet died and would not power on. There are several ways that I use the tablet like taking notes during church service while the sermon is being delivered. I love that a keyboard can be connected. When traveling and waiting for my flight I use it to watch pre-recorded shows and movies. I also watch shows while doing things in the kitchen. I love that my earbuds connect so effortlessly. When turning on the device I love that there is several different ways to get on.

Streaming classes & music are my top uses; but reading & viewing photographs is right up there! Very nice 'little touches' like the moveable pattern area enhance security- minimizing screen dirt fm giving away dirt build-up of security pattern on the screen… Which i a great screen, clear, super color, & fast refresh.
I also really like the fingerprint button on top of the power button; & how it allows fast, more secure wake up of the screen.
The only drawback is that my password 'safe' app's fingerprint 'open' feature doesn't work, although on other Samsung devices it does.

Unbelievably beyond my expectations. First the size and shape. Holding in my hand became natural once I found a sweet spot to hold in one or both hands while in motion.
My reason for the Tab is I love making music. With the use of a docking station, external microphone, keyboard workstation and headset. I was making music faster than any windows program I've ever used.
I was worried about the small amount of ram and memory. But pleased because of how responsive everything still is.
Of any tablet made to date... this is the one for price, size and productivity.
I recommended this product.

I love this tablet!
I got it with the idea of making art with it, but I use it for so much more. I use it to keep a daily planner! The stylist is the best thing ever on this tablet. It's great for writing in your planner, taking notes, or just drawing.
I stream movies and TV shows when I am traveling for work. I also use it for reading and listening to audio books or music.
It's been wonderful! Performance is great! It has not slowed down since I've got it. It runs flawlessly! Battery life on it is really good too! I'm really impressed with how long it lasts.

I don't know if I received a defective Tab S8 or what, but I had 2 problems from the start. One is it freezes several times on Home Page while I had it for 2 days. And second, the display has red tint so much so that I got headache and vertigo like symptom after looking at the screen for more than 15 to 20 minutes. I have Tab S5e (Amoled display) and Tab A 8.4 (LCD display), which I have no problem doing things on them for hours and hours. That's why I thought the new Tab S8 would be no problem, especially with the resolution. But the Tab S8 that I received was really bad. I had no choice but to return it after having it for 2 days only. Want to get another one to check out to see if it was just that one, or what.

I've had Samsung Galaxy tablets in the past and the tablet s8 is probably the best to come. This thing is amazing. No complaints what's so ever, I could knit pick some stuff but to the average use this thing is great. The attachable keyboard is a great add on for me also with school I can go from tablet to laptop within seconds. The pen allows me to free hand notes as well and with the quick presses you can pretty much control the tablet with the pen. It's the best tablet I've so far. Looking to see if I get the s9 for my wife. She also a huge fan of the tablet.

This device has all that I need and comes pretty close to being a small form factor laptop replacement. Even as the lowest model without an Amoled screen, it still looks great. I use it with Dex mode and it works great even as a secondar screen. It is plenty fast to keep up with my multitasking. As an Android tablet it more than what I expected. Fast with great overall performance. It would be better if developers developed Android apps for tablets and Dex. This is the best Android tablet I have owned. And I have a lot in my 15 years of using Android.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 tablet handles all the expectations. This like-phone Android operating system has features that is similar to a regular phone. Best part is, you can connect your phone to the tablet in order to text message or make a call.
With an AMOLED display, the screen is sharp and clear. AKG provides superb sounds amid the speakers. What better way to beat the competition such as an Apple IPad at a lesser pricing.
I am obsessed with the Samsung Galaxy S8. Whichever model you choose, whether it's the S8, S8+, or S8 Ultra, you cannot go wrong.

My eyes aren't become worst because of playing game, this device has a big clear picture quality, true color; very useful to play Hidden Object Game and Design Home.
When i watch Youtube the sound is very real, feel like theater.
The pen is very useful for me to sign a contract, that my computer can't. It also has a reminder when i careless drop the pen, and pen charging status.
It has an option to attach keyboard and connect wireless mouse to use as computer.
The only thing i don't like is the brightness automatic dim when i turn off my room's light.

I obtained this tablet to use at school, and it has changed my life.
Samsung loads in two different note-taking apps from the get-go, allowing me to make some choices before I commit to using one app.
Before, I struggled with keeping my notes organized or even struggled to consistently take notes. Having a combination of a large screen and ergonomic stylus has motivated me to keep going, thus increasing my performance in my degree.
I owe at least some credit to samsung for my college success since they created the tool that I use every day.

I use my tablet daily for games, mostly. I have 2 I play regularly. I had upgraded from a Tab S4. Wow! Talk about a huge change in speed! Graphics are so much smoother. The colors are crisper.
My only "complaint" would be that when I use my Tab S8 for other every day apps typical to what I use on my phone (ie, Gmail, Facebook, etc), these apps tend to run somewhat slower. I can't figure out why, but I have very little in terms of apps and data on my Tab.
Regardless, I love this tablet! The integrated S-Pen is super helpful to have, as well.

I traded in my 1st generation iPad Pro with a galaxy Tab S8, and my user experience is quite positive so far. One of things that I love is it comes with a s-pen without additional charge, and the s-pen works way better and fits my needs than apple pencil in my opinion. It also comes with Android 13 installed out of box, that means it has tons of great features that can be customized to fit anyone's needs, no mention everything is running smoothly under it's high-end hardware spec. that definitely let you feel it is a well built premium tablet.

I love my Samsung S8 tablet for multitasking! It's incredibly easy to put two apps side by side and just start multitasking! I've used it for checking off a shopping list while shopping online, keeping an eye on important messages while using my work app, and searching up references for what I'm writing a paper on.
The screen is fantastic, and battery life is great. I also really enjoy using the S-Pen, it makes nearly every facet of using the tablet even better.
Overall I enjoy this tablet a lot, and plan to use it for years to come.

I use this tablet for EVERYTHING.
Take notes, draw, read, play, watch videos, study, and take pictures. This tablet has been great for me ever since I got it. Great product. It also has an amazing battery that lasts up to days, and it also charges very quickly. The sound on this thing is astounding. I have dropped it a couple of times, but the screen holds up nicely. Yet it doesn't have any cracks on the screen. Overall, it's a great tablet for any occasion. It simply has everything packed up so you'll always be prepared for anything!

I'll be using this device to video chat with my fiance while I do regional trucking. I'll use my S22 Ultra as a Hotspot for internet access. The build quality is outstanding. It's no Tab S9, but it still has that snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. The 120hz display is great. Even though it's LCD. It's still a a great tablet that's got 8gb of RAM on tap! Very functional, very easy to copy all my data from my phone to the tablet. I like the micro SD card slot because I do plan to upgrade the storage some time. The S pen is super cool as our charges on the tablet itself and has bluetooth functionality! Works great! This is a solid product. I recommend it to those who can find it for a good discount! If not then get the Tab S9. Highly recommend getting a solid case for it.

I use the tablet mainly for reading, mobile games and online shopping. I also will, at times, use it to watch movies on a plane or train. Ultimately it was a good upgrade from my previous non Samsung product.
Similar functionality to prior tabs, I find this one responsive and with the pen, easier to write what I am searching than to type.
Have had some strange scenarios with apps but it generally is resolved in a few days (app issues not so much the tablet).
Highly recommend for rhe budget conscious.

I use my tablet for many different things from typing out estimates to creating spread sheet, also playing many different games Call of Duty mobile is great of it. I stream Netflix and many other apps the screen size is great for watching YouTube and scrolling thru socials. My kids also play on the app with there amazing parental control feature I don't have to constantly check and make sure they what they are doing is age appropriate. It's definitely a great tablet to own and I highly recommend it.

I use this strictly for home purposes, but it would make a great work tablet as well.
To me, this is a CCC product. Let me explain.
It is Comfortable to use, it fits into my hand, on my desk, and in my lap with no issues,
It is Compact enough to fit into my purse, yet big enough to see everything clearly.
It is very Convenient. I can easily take it with me where ever I go, be it shopping, outside to enjoy coffee, or in the kitchen to follow recipes.
I purchased this Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 for the sole purpose of learning digital planning, but I have also found that it is very useful for other tasks as well.
I highly recommend this product to anyone, especially if you are just starting out, because it is so easy to navigate, learn, and works great for a multitude of different things.

I typically use my tab S8 for my work as a graduate student. It has made reading academic papers and studying ver convenient with the S-pen allowing smooth annotations making note-taking to be a really pleasant experience.
The Dex Mode is also great, and enables me to perform simpler web based work to be done solely on the tablet, allowing me to leave my much heavier lapptop behind at home. Would certainly recommend it to anyone in school looking for a great note-taking and study tool!

I mostly use it for note taking, web, and occasional YouTube watching.
Pluses:
- Love the refresh rate @120
- screen size is almost to big for me, but nice
- pen is great and with my paper feel screen protector, it mostly feels like paper when you write on it
- battery life is excellent as well. I'm not a heavy user, about 30 mins to 2 hours and it last 5 to 7 days before needing a recharge.
Cons:
- LCD screen instead of AMOLED... Battery life would be even better if AMOLED

For the first time, a Galaxy tablet came with an S pen and it is amazing to have! This is also the first time a fingerprint scanner was Integrated on the side panel above the power and volume controls. It took some getting used to, but in the end it's nice to have that extra level of security on something so mobile.
I use my tablet every day, primarily for reading and internet. But with the S pen, it is also easier to jot down notes/reminders. It's also super for watching videos and streaming services.
My only dislike is the inability to manually turn the screen off. The only way, I have found, is to close the cover of the separately sold Samsung smart cover.
This is an amazing tablet from a company that strives for excellence in electronic devices. I highly recommend this and so many other Samsung electronics!

Screen is great, high definition and the size of the tablet is perfect, not too big but not too small either. I mainly use it for streaming and for personal stuff like taking notes and navigate on the internet. It integrates really well with Windows and obviously Samsung products ( I own a S22 and some galaxy buds too. It is a perfect combination). Samsung Dex is a game changer, you can use your tablet as if it was a regular laptop. I can't live without a tablet anymore.

I love the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. I also have the 8+ and the 8 Ultra. I use the S8 to do reading and browsing late when I'm just relaxing. It's the right size and does not get in the way of anything (like forgetting it's there when you fall asleep). The same can be said for the 8+. The 8+ can double as a mini computer if you feel like you want to keep your laptop at home. The feel of both are great. I like that you have the option to add expandable memory (SD card). The 8 Ultra was bigger than I imagined it being and I took a chance and kept it. I now use it as a second monitor. The visuals are epic. Like I said before it is not the typical size of a tablet. It is great to use to double as an actual laptop in a crunch and the same with the other 8 series all are great investments with speed, memory and reliability.

I use my tablet for a combination of media consumption, video games via Xbox Game Pass, Google Drive, work emails, and to write short stories using the included S-pen. The Galaxy Tab S8 has always delivered on performance and features, never once letting me down. I got it at an amazing price during a trade-in promotion. I previously owned the older model Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, but felt it lacked the performance I needed during multitasking and more strenous tasks.

I really like this tablet. I use it to check emails, do business, & watch movies. It's fast, no drag, very responsive. It's just the right size. Unlike the ultra, it doesn't feel like I'm walking around with my laptop. The only thing, I wish it came with a cover that holds the pen, which is an awesome tool by the way. With the amount of money it is, it could at least come with a cheap one. Leave it up to the customer to get what works for them.

The S8 has great graphics. YouTube videos are crisp and clear. There is a noticeable improvement over my S5E. The color of text seems to vary from brown to black depending on the viewing angle. The power cable is USB-C on both ends. You may need to buy a converter for USB to USB-C. Transferring all my data has been time consuming. Accessing my password-protected data required that I re-enter all my passwords. I haven't used the included pen.

Galaxy tab S8 is an excellent device for media consumption and productivity boost. I gotta say this is such an underappreciated device given the screen ratio is perfect for video playback and S-pen works better than any other pens. I have used multiple tablets including iPads and this is one device that stands out. One drawback would be the S-pen charging mechanism, having to place the pen on the back. Overall, very happy with the purchase!

So lets start that it is very attractive as table but there so many issues and glitches that it is frustrate me even more. No woth the money. Dont waste time. Also conection between my Samsung phone s21 eco system are terible. Been using samsung phone since S8 but the tablet complite not making up. Many application dont run at all and Dex also no fun.
In reality i was expecting much better performance and functionality from this tablet!

I bought this tablet as a birthday gift for myself and was the best decision. I have been using it for more than 4 months now and it just feels so permium. I am an Architect and I also draw,and i love the s-pen. There is no lag and it feels very smooth to the screen. I am using it for both work and watching movies and have no issues overall. This product has a grate feature, it replaced all my notebooks, watching movies, playing games without any lag, samsung dex feature is awesome.
I personally use it on daily basis for my school and also for the work. And in traveling too.
Build quality and camera quality is awesome, it takes batter pieces then iphones. And can do a lot with those pieces afterwards, like editing or creating images.
It has a endless limits of use.

I got this tablet mostly for reading and streaming. This tablet is very light weight so it feels comfortable when holding it. I didn't really think I would enjoy using for streaming but surprisingly it's really good. The s pen and s pen app are really nice. I had used the apple pen but the s pen feels like an actually pencil and is easier to write with. I plan to tackle drawing with it after getting inspiration from the s pen app.

My husband bought me the Tab S8 to replace my Tab A for work because I would be using it daily for upwards of 6 hours including internet and video conferencing.
I absolutely love this tablet. It is quick, the battery lasts for 2-3 days on average with moderate use of Wi-Fi, internet and occasional zoom calls. The screen is clear, easy to read and easy to customize. I also love how seamlessly I can sync my calendar, notes and Microsoft apps with my S22+ without even having to think about it.
The S Pen is also a great accessory that I didn't even know I needed until I had it. I use it more than I thought I would and I love all the different things I can do with it. The best part is that it comes with the tablet!!
I can't say enough good things about this product. Oh! One more thing, it fast charges! Such a convenience when needing to charge it quickly.

I bought the S8, and can’t argue it’s a beautiful tablet but the battery life was awful, it lost tons of battery life without even using it.I reset it and had almost everything shut off and still didn’t help. So I sent it back I must have got a lemon and the sad part is I traded my s7 fe for it and ended up losing my trade in because it got processed the same day I decided to send back the new one. So now I’m out a tablet .

This is great for all my movies, reading,photo editing and drawing apps. Finding a case is important to keep it looking great. The sound is great too with 4 speakers it can be loud. Using the Tablet as a second screen is very cool although the font size is smaller. My Samsung Buds sound great and connect easily. With the Ui 5.1 qnd Android 13 this Tablet has a lot of features to customize till your hearts content. 💕

I replaced my kindle with this.
It's great for reading ebooks, occasional streaming while traveling and with spen , it's perfect for taking quick notes.
I honestly didnt think I will enjoy using spen this much, its great utility to have, it now has replaced my notebook too
The battery life is great , as I don't play games at all, the battery lasts 2-3 days easily with streaming and reading.

I had an iPad for years before I decided to try a Samsung tablet last year and started with Samsung FE (a simplified version of Samsung Tab S7 plus). It was a great tablet and already then I left the Apple product behind for good. The Samsung tablet S8 is even better. I went for a smaller version this time (11 inches vs 12.4) and love this little thing! The possibilities for customization are endless. I installed Nova Launcher and adjusted all apps and widgets to my liking. There are no problems with weird looking or crashing apps. The color pallet is very vivid and pleasant to the eye. This tablet is not dull and is very versatile. Not mentioning that it comes with a pen (no need to spend extra money on one). I use it for browsing and occasional coloring in the Penup app. Swiping is very smooth and it is just a very nice thing to hold in your hands. Highly recommended!

Purchased for my wife as the S7 which I have is no longer available. Loads of features, with beautiful display, great processing speed & memory, however battery life is a little disappointing. Side by side, the S7 loses about 1% of battery overnight when in airplane mode, and the S8 loses about 5-6% even though the display is off and it is not sending or receiving data. Just an observation, and she still loves it.

I am in college and wanted something similar to the iPad but something that was better for writing notes. So when I saw the galaxy tab s8 came with a really good stylus, I just had to pick it up. I've used it for a few months now, and the battery life is really good and my note taking experience on the Tab has been amazing. This is one of the best tech purchases that I've made recently. I just upgraded from the tab s7 and am very happy with this tablet. The integrated keyboard and ability to add in a microsd card really set this tablet apart. It is fast and doesn't show any signs of slowing down with multiple apps open. I also got the tablet on a great trade in deal. My only complaint is that the tablet is a bit oblong and I wish it was more in the shape of a square as opposed to a rectangle.

I have been very pleased with the quality of the display when watching videos, whether homemade or streaming. I have also used my tablet to cast to my 55" Samsung TV with ease.
I have used my laptop less and less as I am able to do most of my computing work on the tablet using a Bluetooth keyboard.
I am a wedding officiant and use the tablet instead of a binder to contain my notes when performing weddings.

I love my tablet! I take it everywhere with me. It truly deserves the 5-star rating for the tablet. I really love the S Pen, also. Unfortunately, I had to rate 4 because I always lose the pen, it falls off all the time. Recently I was traveling and somewhere along the way, my pen fell off and was lost. My suggestion: make it like the phone Galaxy S22 Ultra and make it able to be inserted into the device.

I use my tablet for taking notes in the class and completing my assignments using a samsung notes. I love samsung notes app and how it get sync with the samsung account. You can view that same document on your phone in seconds. Notes taking system is very reliable and easy than the Microsoft software. It is easy to add, crop, draw, and even add audio clips on the notes. I mean, can't be more awesome.

For a student, the Tab S8 is all that is required. I don't need to bring heavy textbooks, pencils, colored pens, an eraser, a laptop, and notebooks. Tab S8 allows me to take notes while reading a textbook or working on an assignment.
Also, the S-pen is very, very useful. It is light, so my wrists have less stress than when using pens. I don't need to move my arm for an eraser; I just move my finger to click the button on the pen to erase.
I have a Samsung laptop that supports the S-pen. I can flawlessly use the laptop and the Tab S8. I can use Samsung Notes to bring notes to the laptop, or I can copy images from the laptop to the Tab S8, and vice versa.
The Tab S8's battery lasts more than 12 hours. Usually, it lasts for 3 days when I use it for note-taking in class. Sometimes, I forgot to charge it, so I turned on battery saving and lowered the brightness. That saved me days.

I'm very happy with this tablet. It is fast. The screen isn't OLED, but the LCD looks great. The battery life usually gets me 2 or 3 days of use. I like the ability to expand the storage with the SD card slot. This tablet can also be used as a laptop with Dex enabled and a keyboard/mouse. I like the included S pen to create notes and drawings. This isn't a budget android tablet, so if you're looking for a premium experience and it's in your budget, this tablet should be at the top of your list for consideration. The only negatives I can think of are: there is no headphone jack (but you can use USB-C wired headphones) and there is no official IP water / dust resistance rating. I would highly recommend buying a protective case and screen protector. Overall, this is a great tablet and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the Samsung eco system and want a premium tablet.

I use my Tab S8 for almost everything that I do. I use it as an ebook and note taker for uni, for teaching little kids and grading papers, and of course gaming... I use it so much in a day that I am able to burn through the batter by mid day, which is telling of his great battery life since my old Samsung tablet, the S6 couldn't even reach half my day's work load... That and everything else I threw at this thing, it handled it like a champ and kept on going.
Despite being so thin, it is quite durable. I dropped mine from a decent height into hardwood floor and tile multiple times (no case/skin/screen protector) and tossed into a backpack everyday; and outside of a few chips and scratches from the metal back, it is still working like nothing happened. Maybe my drops are just lucky or maybe the internal weight distribution makes it handles drops better, who knows, but this thing is a tank.

It's cool occasionally I'll draw on it it works great for that and when I'm not drawing I'll just use it as a media device in my bed and that's pretty cool It's not as big as the other tabs in this series but that's probably fine in my case since I don't need a comically large slab of metal for anything I do

I use my Tab S8 primarily for school and work. I am a music student, so I am always needing to read and annotate music. Using my Tab S8 to do my homework has been not only simple, but superior to traditional pencil on paper. I download what I need to download since it syncs with my Microsoft and Google accounts directly in the Files app, then do my work using the S Pen, and then send my now-completed work in. I also use the tablet to teach private music lessons, and having the ability to have my tuning and metronome apps in floating windows is a great convenience to me. This device has been an invaluable tool for me and honestly makes my life easier. Not to mention the battery life is great, the display is bright and fast, and the thing can do practically anything you throw at it in terms of processing power. Overall, the Tab S8 has been an absolute grand slam of a purchase for me.

I use this tablet when traveling and going from place to place. The versatility it provides is unmatched.
If I need to be productive, I can use Samsung Dex to create a desktop experience. If I'm looking for entertainment, it's hardware is amazing at handling high end games and streaming movies. If I need to take notes, the ability to use the S pen is amazing. It has been a great tablet for me.

I originally bought the Tab A8 as my tablet, but soon outgrew its capabilities. In my search for a replacement, I looked at the S8, and pulled the trigger on a purchase. Was glad I did, not only was it marginally more expensive than my A8, it was more bang for buck. More storage and more power for not much more, and it's light! Would definitely suggest for anyone doing more than web surfing.

I upgraded from an S6 Tab Lite to the S8 Tab and I love the size of the S8. It still has all the same great features that I'm used to with a bit more sprinkled in.
I use the table for office work (word files and spreadsheets), digital planning with Samsung Notes, and watching videos. It's the perfect size to take on the plane an for comfortably on the seat back tray.
It's a great tablet!

I love my Samsung Galaxy S8 Tab! The sound quality and how loud it is for the size of the speakers is amazing! I didn't think it would be as loud as it is and I love it! I have also had little to no issues with it slowing down when I have 10 or more apps open. Also the picture quality it pretty nice as well along with the resolution of the pictures, only thing I dislike about the cameras is how the front camera is along the side of the tablet and not at the top like my phone so it throws me off when I use the tablet for video chat. 😅 Oh and one other thing that I dislike is the placement of the stylus. I have lost mine due to falling off the back at some point, I even bought a case that was suppose to help keep it in place, but we see how well that worked out. 😂 Other than that it's an amazing product! I would recommend it I just advise you to find a case that will actually hold it in place. 😊

This includes reading newsletters responding to emails responding to messages, watching videos on YouTube, doing shopping on apps like Amazon...
I had other tablets before but this one is so powerful I think I'll ever need my PC.
One thing that could be better is the Google suite of productivity tools like slides or sheets.

I use my tablet to take notes for school. It is very convient because it is lightweight and syncs effortlessly withmy phone.the tablet is very responsive to handwriting and there are many note taking apps available.
The only con is it occasionally gets hot and that causes my apps to not respond correctly.
I also really like the softness of the pen nib, but it wears down quickly.

I use my tablet to read, do some light gaming, shopping and entertainment while traveling. It excels in all these areas. Although the sound output cannot touch my previous tablet, for the value, I'm fine to connect my earbuds and enjoy from there. I bought my S8 a month ago to handle the massive ram amount needed to play a certain game, and it handles it nicely. It has improved my game by 95%. I can crank the graphics up to max resolution and frame rate, and it still handles the game wonderfully. The game booster is highly functional compared to the older booster in older Samsung devices. If you game you need this tablet.

I use my S8 as a laptop replacement. I'm a contractor and I'm able to utilize all the programs I need. I send out quotes, bookkeeping, CAD drawings and program equipment, FROM MY TABLET!!!! I'm on my third tablet and thinking about getting the Ultra next. The Dex app is amazing and it just completes a great piece of equipment. If you're on the fence, get off and get one!

I have had multiple iPhone and iPad, including the iPad Pro 11". When I got the Tab S8, it was actually an upgrade.from the Tab S7, and I was surprised by how much I love both Samsung tablets. I actually find myself always reaching for the Tab S8, and almost never for the iPad these days. While the iPad may have a bigger app selection, all of the apps that I need are either available on the Tab S8, or an equivalent alternative is.
However, DEX is a real game changer. It really let's the tablet act as a laptop replacement. It is easy, intuitive, and reliable. Ms Office is available. Mouse and tracpad support are just like a laptop. It just works great.
As for the hardware, It is beautiful. The build quality is outstanding. The design is striking. And the screen is gorgeous. As someone who has had multiple iPads, I never thought I would prefer an android tablet. But I do like the Tab S8 better than the iPad.

I use my tablet for non-business (personnel) use. I charge my tablet and even though I use it a lot during the day the charge has never run out before I am finished. This greatly reduces downtime. I also purchased for a laptop but the items (keyboard and mouse and stylus) work excellently.
I like that I can (and I am older than dust) hook up to Wi-Fi easily and fast.

I am disabled and spend tge majority of my time online. Streaming, gaming, video chat, and social media are my main uses and my S8 has been the best investment I could make. I fully intend on upgrading when the time comes but as well as this has performed over the last year, I doubt will need to anytime soon. When that day comes I will definitely get another Samsung.

Gaming response is very fast. Not lag. Colors are magnificent. I watch movies and my favorite series daily. The magnet keeps the s pen where it needs to be. It also works great. Kids color with it all the time. I also can receive phone calls and text on it when my galaxy s22 rings. The touch screen is great withe the adaptive 120 gtz refresh rate. I love my s8 tablet

I have been a Samsung customer for a very long time. When looking to purchase a tablet it was clear that remaining within the Samsung ecosystem was the way to go. Thus I purchased my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 Tablet (a month ago to be exact) and was able to update my tablet to One UI 5.0 Android 13.
The Galaxy S8 is an exceptional device and works beautifully. Connects to my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 so I'm able to receive and make calls and send texts. Watching movies on Prime or Netflix or YouTube videos on the stunning screen is breathtaking.
I also use my tablet for work so Office 365 (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)... including Teams, Zoom and Webex calls... all work smoothly.
For the price, the Galaxy S8 Tablet is extremely affordable and includes the S-Pen. I highly recommend the Galaxy S8 Tablet as an ideal tablet for anyone looking for a powerful, functional device with a fantastic form factor.

I liked the tablet, the tablet is quite nice however i feel the dimensions of the tablet makes it a bit difficult to write notes. I would reckmmend going with the 12 inch version for note taking it gives a bigger canvas. What's up Samsung? Why no charger??? You would be much better off not copying Apple, but continuing your previous innovative and competitive edge! At least offer us a deep discount at time of purchase so we don't hunt down the correct charger.
Performance is slightly better than the Tab 7 I traded in and battery life is doubled. The new UI 13 is great.

Use this for notes at work. Pen worked great for a month but then had a hard time getting it to write clearly. Feels like the nub is loose, maybe that is contributing to the poor quality? The pen won't write on every stroke so I have to go back over what I've written and now it's just sloppy. Sometimes making strokes, sometimes not... Ugh. Poor quality.

For the value of this product, the Galaxy Tab S8 has the versatility and productivity that rivals iPads and even surfaces. I primarily bought this device for notetaking, but I am able to do more than just that with how capable this tablet is: I can watch video content with a beautiful 2k display 120 Hz, write documents (with the keyboard case) and do light productivity work, use the tablet almost like a large smartphone with the hand-friendly 16:10 ratio--I believe I recieved a lot of value for the price I have payed for this device.
One caveat that justified one less star pertains to the durability of the S pen. After just 1-2 months of use, the tip of the S pen broke off when I accidentally dropped the pen one day. I struggled finding reliable tips or pens that Samsung might offer, but they were either non-existent or expensive, and so I struggled with searching for third parties.
Overall a great value for its eager versatility.

I love the clarity, the durability, the sound, the overall functionality and the ease of my tablet. I've never owned an apple product and I never will. I'm an Android user and Samsung is my "go to" for phones, tables, laptops and earbuds.... its all I know. Thank you for making such incredible products that make my day to day life so much easier.

I bought Galaxy Tab S8 128GB during the pre-order and got a keyboard together at a tablet price. The tablet has enough features for students with new samsung note version. The chipset is weaker than competitive company, but enough for any softwares today. Thr led screen is back pull, but 120hz is the best even though it is S8 not S8+ or ultra.
I recommended this product.

I got this tablet mainly for drawing and I've been enjoying the pen a lot. The tablet runs clip studio very well and it came with a 6 month subscription as well. The screen is very vivid and runs at 120hz so it's very smooth. The pen is very seamless and has touch protection. Overall it's a good tablet for drawing and I'm very happy with it.

After owning the Galaxy Tab S8 for over a year i am delighted to share this tablet exceeded my expectations! First, the display is stunning! As an avid comic book reader and movie streamer the displays clarity & vividness enhance every aspect! Although I was worried about the size (this model being the smallest) my fears were quickly pushed out of the way. The aluminum body allows for easy travel (lightweight) and the sleek design is a wow factor! My coworkers who are Apple product lifers are repeatedly complementing my S8. As an artist the S pen integration enhances the S8 versatility, from note taking to person digital art project. Another feature that blows me away is the DeX capability, turning the tablet into a desktop! A fantastic and flexible feature. In conclusion the S8 is an amazing tablet that delivers on all fronts! I would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their device that effortlessly adapts to their lifestyle.

I use my Samsung s8 tablet mostly for streaming and games, it has always worked very well, always fast and secure, I get the newest version of the Samsung tablet every year. I have owned the s4, s5, s6, s7 and the s8 tables and have always been happy with them, graphics and sound are always amazing and the customization options are wonderful

This is a great tablet, it's super fast and I use it EVERYDAY! It's like my world and it never leaves my side, I always take it with me all the time. This tablet is SO POWERFUL THAT I GAME ON IT EVERYDAY ON IT! If there wasn't a limit for the rating I would give it a 10000000000000 stars review. I love you samsung you guys changed my life ❤️

I purchased the Tab8 plus after much debate with myself. I have been using a Tab6 and was not sure if I really needed to upgrade. After receiving my Tab8 plus and the new backlit case and cover I ordered separately, I am glad I pulled the trigger. Everything is soo much nicer. Bigger screen, no lag, plenty of storage, 256GB and no regrets.
I recommended this product.

I love to play games on my PC and I found myself minimizing the game to look something up...how did I not know how much easier play would be with a second screen? Stay in the game, look up content, data, even if the soundtrack has dropped and where!
My S8 is every thing i needed in a compact fork that can sit easily on my computer desk.

The tab S8 is the best financial decision I have made. As an online high school student, the features and pen work great and help me stay on top of my work. The software is not buggy, as well as eye catching. The size is perfect and the resolution on movies is amazing. I will definitely be investing in more samsung tablets in the future.

I had to get a substitute for my laptop for classes and needed a product I can pack and travel easy, and this filled that spot perfectly! The included Stylus is great and even after repairing my laptop I see myself using it! I also enjoy the fingerprint scanner on the power button, it's something I wished they kept on the phones.

I bought the tablet as a gift for my mom, a retired graphic designer, when I saw her struggling with her old (not so much) 2020 laptop. The simplicity of having a smartphone like on a larger format made her life much better, also she rediscover her passion for drawing and painting thanks to the easiness that the smartpen brought.
