It's quite a good smart watch but not a great sports watch. I turn on the always on display when running but it doesn't appear to be truly always on. It goes into a semi dimmed state until I raise my wrist. It also seems to pause the real-time data so that it is not showing my accurate pace until I raise my wrist, instead it looks like it shows the pace from when the screen semi dimmed. This means I have to raise my wrist and wait a few seconds for the data to update which makes the alway on screen completely useless and also means I'm looking at the watch way to much just to get a quick update. Really lousy design for a sportwatch. I'm sure this is easy to fix and I hope Samsung do so.

Does the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE have fall detection like the 4 lte? I suffer from epilepsy resulting in seizures and wanting a device that can detect rather moderate to hard falls after i blackout. Which can also be programed to auto call a pre programed contact. CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE.. The poor rating only due to mandatory requirements to complete form but in no way a reflection of this product! Thank you.

As far as functionality, convenience, and customization goes; the Pro 5 is a notch better than other options. The health trackers are accurate and honestly it can do pretty much everything your phone can, only with a limited function. Browsing the web on it feels a bit hindered due to screen size, however it does an amazing job at it for what it is. The watch faces and the customizations however are top notch (minus the ability to use your favorite fonts [as of this post anyways]). And being able to control your phone through your watch and being phone free for calls, texts, music, pay apps is nice when your super active. My only negative I have to say is that my watch bullies my phone for connectivity when driving for android auto.

I owed my Watch5 Pro in black for over a year and it was great. The watch preformed exactly the way I needed it to and i never had an issue with it. No connection issues whatsoever all features worked great and the battery life was awesome on this. I would get about 3-4 days on a full charge and that's with always display on and the highest brightness on. I always always making calls and texting from it and the battery would still last days. No regrets buying this watch samsung did a good job with this one.

I bought this as a pre-order roughly 2 and a half months ago. I have previously used an Apple watch and a Garmin watch. I really disliked the battery life on the Apple watch and I also switched over to Android so I switched to Garmin. The battery life on the Garmin was the best and exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, I missed some of the smart features of the Apple watch so I pre-ordered the Galaxy watch 5 pro. At first, I was not impressed with the battery life. But after about a week the watch seemed to have learned my charging habits and the battery life is now excellent. I can very easily get 3 days of use out of it. The smart features combined with the active features such as hiking, biking, etc have exceeded my needs in a fitness smart watch. I love the watch and so happy to have switched.

I've been using the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, 45mm, Black Titanium, LTE for a while now, and it truly delivers an impressive smartwatch experience. It caters to all my daily needs so effectively that I sometimes feel like I almost don't need my phone. Pros: Performance: The watch offers a smooth and swift performance. I've experienced no lag when switching between apps. Features: With its capabilities for making calls, texting, using apps, and much more, it's almost as functional as a phone. Design and Build Quality: The Black Titanium design not only looks stylish but also provides a durable structure. Moreover, the 45mm size is just perfect for my wrist. In summary, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro takes the smartwatch experience to the next level. If you're in the market for a smartwatch, you should definitely consider this model.

I bought this during the pre-order and got it just before the release date, I've given it some time to use it before leaving a review so I'd have some experience with it. So far I like the watch and it works fairly well, but I have been having some issues with figuring out some features as well as some functionality that worked fine with the Galaxy Watch 4 but only worked a few times with this one, namely the navigation directions showing up on the watch as well.

I had the original Samsung Galaxy Watch, and it was amazing. Never failed and everything worked as it should. I finally upgraded to the Samsung Watch 5 Pro because you could have YouTube Music on the actual watch and I THOUGHT I wouldn't need my phone anymore to listen to music while I worked out... WRONG. The "new" and "upgraded" wear sensor on the watch does not work properly if you have tattoos, and I have a tattoo EXACTLY where the watch is positioned. I'll get the orange dot, but I do not get alerted if I have notifications because of the sensors INABILITY to detect that the watch is being worn because of my tattoo. Absolute disappointment and shame on Samsung for taking a great product and ruining it. Features are good and design is awesome, but if you have a tattoo where the watch will be positioned, DO NOT BUY. Your watch will never work properly.

Excellent smart watch, not dedicated for sports/activities but more than makes up for that with it's usefulness in general life. Great to have similar access to apps and info as on my phone and notifications are not too obtrusive. Good degree of customization, both in appearance and in functionality. Get the set up right and battery life is good for this type of product.

I had an early version of Galaxy watch and it did somethings for me that I liked, had it for three years. Finally decided to upgrade and boy am I glad I did! This watch can do so many different things over my older watch. Plus the sleep, heart rate, work out tracking it does is spot on every time. I really on this watch so much now and it delivers every time.

Very bad experience from Samsung Galaxy watch 5 pro. After the update, the device battery is draining too fast. Before the software update, if the device was fully charged, then it would remain for 3 days. But, now if fully charged, the battery will not remain even for a single day. I doubt if it is intentionally done to promote the Galaxy 6 watch.

However, this is partially due to the fact that it has essentially no competition from other Wear OS smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro tackles one of the most serious issues with the previous generation of Samsung smartwatches: battery life. However, it trades battery for larger dimensions. For those immersed in the Samsung ecosystem, the Watch5 Pro is nearly a no-brainer. The Watch works best with Samsung handsets, and key functionalities, such as accessing Bixby Capsules, are only available on Samsung devices. Even for non-Android users, the Watch is a viable Wear OS option. With the Google Pixel Watch, Google intends to change that. However, Samsung's device has been polished sufficiently to compete with a first-generation smartwatch, and the Galaxy Watch5 Pro may continue to dominate the premium smartwatch category in the Android ecosystem.

This is my first SmartWatch. As an IT Professional I used to keep up with the latest tech in my younger days but haven't needed a smartWatch yet. I purchased this under a pre-order promo and getting to enjoy its functionality. It has performed great so far. My only issue is my provider doesn't support esim so I haven't connected to LTE yet.

I've had this watch a few months now. It's battery life has certainly improved from earlier models. It was annoying that you can only use the ECG and BP function with another galaxy device but once you do it is really cool. It would be good to see further tracking features and improvements to the exercise/ workout screens.

I compared my new galaxy watch with my 2 yr old Garmin Venue 2 and found it to be Significantly inferior in Every possible way. Samsung needs to lift their game In its Software And it's simplication of Layout. Also voice to text needs to be vastly improved. Lift your game samsung

Not as good as I thought it would be. Bought for fitness capabilities but, unfortunately, it doesn't recognise breaststroke when swimming. Ok, it keeps time and is relatively easy to navigate but is really just an expensive gimmick

Looks good, and made it with titanium and sapphire which is more stronger. Battery looks like it is better. Look more pro-ish with the line in the middle of the strap. Watch 5 looks like the watch 4 but better

I got this watch when it came out, and i wear it work at work in a warehouse and i routinely bump into things and it has no scratches. My Galaxy 4 was smaller but I always nervous that it would get damaged.

I bought this Watch 5 Pro along with my S23 ultra. This is an extremely stylish and attractive watch loaded with full features that suit both classic and sports purposes. I have been using a Gear S3 for the past 6 years and it still works perfectly. You can see the durability of the Samsung brand. I thought to upgrade for this new watch 5 that has 4G built-in. The design is so great and it can assess my blood pressure which I really wanted to see if I am under stress or not. I am very much in love with this new smartwatch. The design is great and goes very well with a D-buckle strap. The battery lasts a few days even if you use it in full swing. The fitness tracking aids me to monitor my heart rate while at the gym and the 4G feature helps me not carry my smartphone into the gym. I am always within reach whether I have my mobile around or not. The other thing is it gives a detailed report of my sleep pattern which is very easy to understand. I haven't removed this from my hand unless I go for a shower. My dream is to obtain a titanium metal band. Highly recommended Smartwatch for active users. Top-notch tech features are loaded! in this model.

To choose a new watch face, simply touch and hold the watch face to enter Edit mode > Tap a watch face to select it, and then tap Customise to change features like the background colour. You can also add widgets to appear on the watch face, if available > When you’re finished, press the Power (Home) key. The changes will instantly appear on your watch.
