After six months of usage the immersive Sound and clear audio increased the experience of entertainment i have never ever experienced any connectivity issue as in my previous sound system faced. we need to place these speaker in proper places as described in user manual and feel the Dolby Atoms experience in all soundstages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SWA-9500S wirelessly connects to my Q Series soundbar and provides up firing Atmos and side firing surround sound. The sound is clear and adds extra depth to the viewing experience. My previous surround sound kit required the satellite speakers to be connected via speaker wires to a wireless module, which limited placement of the speakers to the length of the speaker wire. The SWA-9500S solves that problem. Each of the satellite units are truly wireless and have its own power cord, and I prefer this to my previous Samsung surround sound kit.

Just a small warning here for someone who is looking to upgrade your 2022 q910b soundbar to the 9500s rear speakers. The 9100s that come with the 910b works well, but has a extra wifi / amp box with left and right speaker wires. Not as clean of a solution as these 9500s. I checked with 2 different product representatives before checking these out on my 910b. They will not link , set id on the 910b. I hard reset the 910b , unplugged the woofer and 9100s rears. No other ids bidding for attention but they will not link. So I am going to hang on to these for a while. Hoping a f910 firmware update will happen to match their product literature.

Setup was extremely simple — truly plug-and-play. I paired the speakers with the Samsung HW-Q700C soundbar and they work perfectly together. This soundbar model doesn’t include an automatic sound calibration option, so I had to fine-tune the channel settings to achieve the perfect surround sound balance in the room. Using either the soundbar remote or the SmartThings app makes adjusting these settings very straightforward. Once everything is set up, pop some popcorn, pour a pint of cola, and sit back to enjoy your movies with a true cinema-style sound experience at home. P.S. Dolby Atmos sounds amazing since adding the SWA-9500 surround speakers.

As other reviews have mentioned, once you get them successfully set up and at the highest volume possible, they are still very low in volume, and unless you are sitting right next to it, it does not do much. They are way overpriced for what they are capable of. You can literally buy a second soundbar for this kind of price. I watch blu rays with dolby atmos, and its all the same low volume, no matter the content you watch. They are also quite big and bulky, which is fine for me, but you'd at least expect them to pump out some good volume. Pros are that they are well made and connect instantly to the soundbar with no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend using the surround system for Atmos with a Samsung TV. This is because of Samsung's Q Symphony mode that supports the surround sound system nicely. The surround sound is crisp clear and without distortion. The wireless connection is stable. Music, movies, and dialogs all sound clean. Downside is the limits on configuring the sound but that's minor of you stick with the defaults which are all excellent. I use this with Sony tv and you are better off with a Samsung TV.

i was shopping for rear speakers for my 1 year old (or less) q800t soundbar. unfortunately, samsung has chosen to not make these speakers compatible with a soundbar from last year. it is clear that there is no hardware reason for this decision, and a small firmware upgrade would permit compatibility. i think all the consumers who bought sound bars from samsung a year ago would be considerably happier with these speakers over the alternative 9100s speakers that i haven't tried yet. please show you support your products and provide a firmware upgrade to enable compatibility with the 9500s. thank you.

Paired these with HW-Q700A soundbar and Q70A tv - fantastic sound quality & adds such a great extra dimension to Atmos movies etc on Netflix. Worked easily & quickly out of the box, set up is a breeze + no wires thanks to bluetooth. You need to go through settings on soundbar & increase volume of these to 5 or 6/6 to hear them well, but after this they just turn on & off with the TV seamlessly! Such a great purchase, if you have a new sound bar you must add on these speakers! The best part is they don't add on the same sounds as the tv, instead you hear surround sounds such as footsteps pacing, helicopters flying past, cars / background noise that simulates real life. Good stuff :)

i purchased these speakers to accompany the hw-q700a surround system i bought a couple of months ago. what a game changer! the ambiance and surround sound gives you that theater-like feel right in your living room; phenomenal. i was able to connect them to my receiver/soundbar in only a few seconds. once synced, you can adjust and set the volume from the soundbar's menu. if you are looking to add a little more *wow factor* to your movie watching experience, definitely go with these. i'd suggest the wireless version so you won't have to run the speakers to a receiver and have even more wires.

These speakers connect so easily to your samsung soundbar and change the experience of your movies forever. No longer will you be able to watch TV without rear speakers this good. Me and my dad are rewatcbing all of our favorite movies after I gifted him a set to finish off the home cinema room. Absolutely a game changer and such a good idea. If your have any compatible spundbar e.g Samsung 7xx series soundbar , you'd be crazy not to buy this. Wall shaking sounds that make you feel immersed in a movie.

rear volume is too low. i cant barely hear the surround sound. adjustments have been made. set max volume of rears from mt samsung q800b to max 6 already, but i still barely hear the sounds from the 9500s. i would suggest if samsung can release a firmware for q700, q800 soundbars that would set the rear volume max to 8 instead of 6. this will surely improve the performance

I’m constantly adjusting the settings and hoping I missed something that would enhance the speaker volume and just and that extra, umph, I need! When I watch movies that’s when I really enjoy the value of these speakers. Bizarre how the ARC options dulls my sound experience. Listening to Music is just a disappointment. It’s almost as though I need to be standing in between my sound bar and rear speakers to get the best experience. When I mean standing, I truely mean standing because when I sit down, I just don’t feel immersed in the music. In other words, it would be great for parties however, I don’t throw parties at my apartment.

I was so please that I could put the speakers in any one of my rooms since all I own is Samsung products. These speakers make the sounds from moves seem so vivid. If you do not own a pair of speakers that are wireless and you can make them as mobile as you want by moving them to any room. When I’m gaming the speakers create a sound like no other brand. Hi, i really like the idea of upgrading the q900t with an 2.0.2 System, but at this moment it's not compatible at all.. I don't know the exact hardware structure built in to the soundbar but i do not think that it is that hard to make it possible with an firmware update.. Of course Samsung is an Tech Company an they rely on sells, but since the 2020 models aren't that old yet - I mean 1 year isn't that much even though Tech is an pretty fast developing branch - I can't understand why the 2020 models won't support those rear atmos speakers and only the 2021 will. Since there is no support yet for the "older" 2020 models i will give them just one star. Happy to hear some updates if there will be any or even if the 2020 models will be support them in future.

i honestly don't understand the previous poor reviews for this product. these are designed to be used with 2021 qled tv's and 2021 q soundbars. no point to buy them otherwise. when you use them with compatible products, they are terrific. i am using them with a 2021 samsung 80a-qled and a 2021 samsung q700a soundbar. ---- pros: they pair easily and flawlessly. it took me less then 5 minutes and only 2 steps to pair them to the soundbar. i love that they are truly wireless, with no wires having to go between the speakers. they sit on my endtable and are neat (not messy) with no wires hanging all around. a seperate power cords comes for each speaker. the sound is adequate. i mainly watch streaming moviesi have not used them for gaming on my ps4 as of yet.

Overall my experience with the speaker has been nice. The volume is low while watching some movies but I think it's mostly the content rather than the speaker. I use this with my Apple TV to listen music in Dolby Atmos, its amazing. One thing I would like is for Samsung to add some features in the app such as volume adjustments for the speakers (rear, front top, rear top, side and wide) similar to the woofer levels. Info about the decoding such as DTS:X or Dolby atmos being played. That would complete the experience.

Excellent rear speakers. Paired with s800b soundbar. Just make sure that 'voice enhancement', in advanced sound setting, is off. With 'voice enhancement' on, the rear speakers volume drops and the surround sound is greatly reduced. Activate 'space fit' feature and this will learn and adjust to your room. 'Space fit' really does work and seems to improve overall surround sound the more the speaker system is used. The SmartThings app is great for adjusting the sound setting, like increasing volume of the rear speakers.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. If you do your homework then these sound great. The rear speakers are meant to face towards where you’re sitting. Not facing forward. Also to get more sound turn your soundbar levels down a little and turn your rear speakers all the way up. I have all my soundbar levels turned down too 4 and my rear speakers all the way up too 6. It sounds great. Of course the settings depend on your room size. Do your homework! Im looking too upgrade too the Q990B when I can afford it! Lol

i connected these to the samsung hw-801s soundbar and they really completed the sound. the rear speakers are clear and more than loud enough. once i figured out to adjust the surrounds volume through the soundbar remote they were great. i actually had put the volume too high and turned down the volume a little. i recommend if you get these to read some of samsung’s responses to other low rated reviews, it helped me figure out how to adjust them. hopefully the next version of these can be made smaller though.

these speakers "may" be great. i don't know yet because i'm searching for answers on setup. what are all those buttons on the remote and how do i set up my system? no answers in the "manual". i intentionally bought a samsung hw-q700a/za soundbar so it would pair well with my new samsung frame tv. then i wanted to add atmos rear speakers so i got the swa-9500s. they produce very little sound so i started searching online. found some suggestions to try and then wondered whether the manual for the remote was missing from my set. looked all over and all there is apparently is the very basic how-to-pair and how to wall mount. what about how to adjust the volume of the rear speakers? and what are the other buttons on the remote for? very disappointing. so i can't really rate the product yet.

I can't love the SWA9500S Rear Speakers , because I have a HWA-Q800T soundbar that's already outdated without a Firmware upgrade to be able to enjoy the Speakers. So I won't buy the 9500 's or because of unwanted wires on the 9100 's not even buying those. When you catch up to reality that buyers are not running out to buy a whole new soundbar and do a Firmware update.... then and only then will I think about spending more money with samsung on the 9500 's Speakers with true wireless speakers !

was worried about investing in these speakers based on reviews bur i really didn’t have any trouble at all. i did have to try pairing these to my q800a soundbar twice but its an easy pair to do so i wasn’t angry it didn’t work the first time. as for volume, i turned that up on the rear speakers and the sound is great. i could probably turn it down but i like hearing the rear channel clearly. if you havethe compatible dolby soundbar, i recommend these speakers.

I've spent quite a few hrs over 2 days trying to link these speakers to the soundbar. One speaker is always blinking and the other always in permanent blue (although no sound has ever been produced). I'll be returning this tomorrow and thinking to buy a wired system that doesn't waste my time. Futhermore, if you ever disconnet this, you have to link them again. It should take a few seconds but after hrs I've realised that surely this is not compatible.

I wish we could have a physical volume control at the extended unit to set and fix the volume as desired, since the back speakers could be place in different locations (vertical and horizontal) with respect to the main unit and listeners' preferred location. This should help fine tunning the sound to match listeners taste.

There is a way to actually fix this - by setting the equalizer for all speakers at their lowest levels possible, then resetting to "re-pair" the speakers - the sound calibrates and it seems to fix the issue. I'm disappointed that Samsung has never addressed this with a firmware update or even a tech help advisory - but the actual speakers (once adjusted) play beautifully with the q800b!

overall, i am happy with my samsung skundbar setup. the sound is fairly deep and rich. however, it's all way over-priced. these speakers while weighty, are very quiet (even at 6) and are complicated to set up. even with a compatible samsung tv and soundbar, they won't show as connected. they are and i can control them via the sound bar remote, but that shouldn't be. a picky thing, but the power cables are way to short.

It's Dec 2021, and the SWA-9500S is still not compatible with the Q900T (2020) model soundbar. Like so many people on this thread, I'm not going to rush out to buy the Q900A (2021) soundbar model just so I can use the SWA-9500S. The Q900T & Q900A are essentially the SAME things. Seems like many customers WANT to buy the SWA-9500S because it's less CLUNKLY than previous rear speaker kits. Please make it work!

Easy set up and pairing to sound bar. Cons: speaker wire could be longer, tough getting these gems in the right spot in larger rooms. Also the Bluetooth connection on the main speaker processor box is quite weak. At 12' away from sound bar, it will want to "cut out" so to speak. It almost needs to have "line of sight" to work consistently. I have tried everything to get more out of the Bluetooth connection but without success. I dont have a lot of interference going on either, or lots of devices talking to each other. They're in a room at the end of the house and upstairs and I still have challenges occasionally where the sound will go in and out on them while the main sound bar is working 100%. Even with that minor issue I would still recommend these, great buy for price.

The level controls for the rear speakers (SWA9500S) appears after they have been paired. They work instantaneously and add surround dimensions flawlessly. Happy with purchase

i purchased the swa 9500s wireless speakers as an additional to my 800a soundbar. they hooked up quick and easy, however, you can hardly hear any sound out of them. i have increased the volume on them to +6 but that really made no difference. i have the soundbar set on surround as well. i was expecting a much better sound for the price paid for the speakers.

I've had the swa9500 rear speakers for a few days now and I'm amazed at how good these speakers sound.paired up with my Q800b sound bar the sound comes from all angles making you feel totally immersed absolute must buy if you own a2021 sound bar I'm not sure why it's had some negative reviews must have been faulty units because I don't have any negative feedback to give regards sound because they hit every mark when watching Atmos movies.The cables could be a metre longer but other than that very happy with this product.pairing up literally took a few minutes if that and then make sure you turn up the volume on the rear speakers using the channel level on the sound bar I have rear set to 5 and rear top set to 6 and that's it enjoy and be blown away.we have watched quite a few movies and Everyone has impressed us with the sound from behind and above a mind blowing experience paired with my q800b it's a match made in heaven thank you Samsung for a great product.

Samsung don't think about the products they release sometimes. The Q900T does not have any surround speakers that provide upfiring Dolby Atmos. The SWA9000s/9100s are average. Samsung, listen to your customers!!!, update the firmware to allow the 9500s to be used.

Really enjoy the sound from all around, the only issue I have is sometimes the Bluetooth either struggles to connect to the devices. I've had to go in my settings and forgot the system and repair to it in order to listen to the music or movies

i didn't have any problems installing this on my end. i only had to change settings for my ps5 to output 5.1 sound in the room. ill be tinkering on other parts of it, but so far they can be pretty loud and its great to hear sounds behind me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to the soundbar. Speakers can be connected to soundbar via wireless. The down side is both speakers need to connect to each other. That is the only complaint. But due to the location of the speakers tje wire are out of sight.

Hi, This new model is not working with hw-q800t sound bar (firmware 1019.5) . Too bad for a 2020 soundbar. Also the swa-9000s model seems to be discontinued in Canada. So I don’t know what model of rear speakers I can add to my soundbar

Love these speakers, they are perfect. You can have them on loud and still have a conversation in the room, thr sound is clear connection great. BUT! they did not come with wall mounting brackets are they are impossible to find online

The Samsung HW-Q800B is good so i added the swa 9500 rears i have the volume turned right up on rears +6 you can hardly hear them even if i sit 2 feet away complet waste of money i have reset everything time again lost count
