How to use a Samsung USB-C to HDMI adapter

The Samsung USB-C to HDMI adapter allows you to connect your mobile device or tablet to an HDMI-enabled display, such as a TV or monitor, for viewing content on a larger screen.

Wired connections to external displays

You can connect your mobile device to an external display using an HDMI adapter (USB Type-C to HDMI).

  1. Connect an HDMI adapter to your mobile device.
  2. Connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI adapter to a TV or monitor’s HDMI port.
  3. On your phone’s screen, tap Start. The Samsung DeX screen will appear on the connected TV or monitor without changing your phone's screen.
