I've never been a watch guy but I figured if it comes with it, why not try it? It sat on a shelf for a while. I would see it and think about it. One fateful day someone suggested I sell it if I don't use it..I said, "No, it's mine " well, that got me thinking. If I'm not using it, why shouldnt I? So logically, I tried it out. This thing makes life so much easier. I don't always have to have my phone. It tracks my sleep habits and gives me a scores. It tracks my steps per day. It's like the most willing assistant that never gets paid. I use it everyday now.

I have been using Samsung watches for over 5 different models over the years including the watch 4. I love the display brightness, the improved ease of messaging, the increased memory which I use to hold playlists and photo libraries. Using it for phone calls is smooth and notifications are more improved with the ability to customize them more. Battery life is fair, with setting choices and recent software updates I get more than a day on a charge, and I look forward to improvements in this area in future watches. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, I use it everyday for work and home and sleep monitoring. Great product!

However, for some odd reason everything on the watch that is pre-installed is duplicated by 2. I wish there was a way to correct it without bringing it back to factory specs. I wish that there was a battery to extend beyond 24hrs. As I like to track my actual steps to see if I hit my goals that I have set for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had a heart attack. My husband wanted me to get a smartwatch. Our daughter-in-law has the series 6 or 7 watch. It alerted her when she was having irregular breathing & heart rate. She went to the ER and turns out had esophageal spasms! I bought the watch because I have a Samsung phone and knew the watch would pair best with my phone. The watch faces are too big for me. I am very small boned, and even the smallest watch (40 mm) is too big. It looked funny and I had a hard time getting correct readings. It wouldn't stay in the same place - It kept moving. Getting it tight enough was also an issue. I would suggest offering a 38mm watch again. There are lots of us petite women who not only want, but need smart watches. I eventually got a Fit Bit. Its good but doesn't do everything I could do with the Samsung watch.

The battery life is really good, and the fitness tracking has helped greatly with my weightloss journey, ensuring that im keeping a solid workout. My downsides are few with this, but not many. It will only backup to your phone between 1-5 AM and only on the charger. Which means if you use the sleep tracking function it wont backup to the phone, which kind of defeats the purpose of that feature. Next is the occasional lag that occurs in the step tracking. I've noticed that if your arm is not moving (Due to Pushing something or carrying something) at times the watch wont register your steps. Overall I am glad I chose to use this watch over other options. Its a solid device for both phone and text, and I love using it daily

The bands are much easier to change compared to the older styles from the older watch models. I also like the added features and the watch is lighter then my old 4 series. I used to have a older frontier model and I remember how heavy it was. The watch pairs well with my S25 Ultra and my BudsFE. I'm a Samsung Galaxy fan since the earlier years in the 2000.

This is the most comfortable watch of the series and I can wear it all day in extreme comfort. The battery lasts several days and the display is extremely easy to read both indoors and Outdoors. I have the LTE version so I can leave my phone at home and all of my necessary information is available on the watch. I answer phone calls on the watch, keep track of my notifications and upcoming meetings as well as my health metrics. This thing's a little miracle on a wrist. I get compliments on the style. It also has Gemini AI, which I do use on a regular basis.

But the Samsung watch 8, WOW! Feel back in love with my watch! I didn't realize how much I missed it and how much it did for me. I like the style, fit, layout, the easy to scroll and find all my apps, and the options to turn on/off specific apps/programs. Sorry, but I'm not a fan of AI or Gemini or Bixby and I want the option to NOT use them and turn them off. I don't like being forced or pressured to use them so when the watch8 allowed me me that option, I loved it more! Thank you!

The watch strap is such a shame - I have had the watch all of one week and the strap is already worn and discoloured... I have done perhaps 6 hours of exercise in that time and worn it for sleep tracking. How can you market a watch the be good for sleep tracking and fitness, but sell it with a band that discolours after 1 week? Very disappointing. The watch itself is great to use - nothing special. Coming from the Watch 4, there is not exceptionally noticeable upgrade but it is smooth to use and the screen is clear. Nice a light also. Has a couple of laggy moments hopefully updates will iron this out. Battery life isnt great but its liveable.

She used the Galaxy Watch 6 daily, and the only problem with it was that the fitness tracking seemed to not be as accurate. As the the Galaxy watch 8 has a few improvements here, it seemed like the right move and it does seem to be more accurate. The Galaxy Watch 8 has been both exciting and, in some areas, surprising. While the jump isn't revolutionary, there are enough meaningful improvements to justify the upgrade. It seems faster, better at tracking and the battery also lasts longer. My wife also liked the style this has over previous generations with the change in shape.

While suffering from a heart condition, I am able to monitor my BP constantly and my ECG my BPM. Very helpful in maintaining my health. My weekly exercise regime is also monitored. Most of the apps I have on my Samsung Galaxy S25 phone are paired to my watch 8. Let's me answer phone calls, make calls weather it's nirmal calls or emergency calls. I can see text messages and respond long with emails. A great piece of equipment do have attached to your wrist. Love the various watch faces to choose from. Never have to charge prior to 48hrs ir longer which is great. Love it. A life saver.

Love this watch! I've hesitated to get a smart watch, since I've loved my small regular watch so much, but I decided it was time to join modern society. I got this three weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it. I love how it works seamlessly with my phone, and I love all the apps and functions it has. I got it specifically to monitor my heart rate while I'm running to help me get in shape in a more healthy way, and it's worked flawlessly. I've set up my run with a goal minutes/mile and a goal for my HR zones, and it makes it so easy. My runs are already improving because I'm aware of my effort level and I'm working out at the right intensity.

It's not often I'm surprised at the durability of things, especially these days. All the extra stuff is top notch, from being pared with my work phone, step counter, stress levels and every other health data you can think of. It comes with galaxy ai built in which quickly answers any questions you have. I received my watch as a bday present in Dec and I have only taken it off to charge it but that's not everyday battery life last a few days. It is light and I don't notice I have it on. Watch paired seamlessly w/ my Z Fold Flip This watch makes my life so much easier. I dont have to dig in my purse to find my phone because I can do so many things from my watch. I take alot of pics and can use the watch to assist as a remote. No more worrying abt asking a stranger or relying on someone esle to take a photo for me. I also love health apps esp the sleep tracking as I am trying to make better choices in my life. I am older and take alot of meds the health apps helps me keep track. Bands are easy to change out if choose to but not neccesary. I have small wrist and original band fits great w/o too much excess. I totally recommend this watch.

I bought my first Samsung phone just over a year ago and after getting used to the different platform, I plan to stay with Samsung. I bought the Samsung Tablet and recently went all in and committed by buying the Galaxy Watch and Samsung Pro4 Ear Buds. I love the watch because of its look and feel when I wear it. It looks and feels like a real watch that does amazing things! I personally love the fact that I can split my face to two different time zones. It's not just the products that are great; their online service is impeccable. Highly recommend Samsung for all products.

The battery life is good enough (although my only comparison is my previous watch4), but I don't keep the screen on all the time and I keep all the background apps closed. The battery lasts a couple days if I'm using it to track my workouts, and longer if not. I wear it to sleep as well. It does charge much faster than my previous one. I don't really use it's Galaxy AI, so I can't attest to it's accuracy. My one complaint so far: I bought the watch to upgrade and try out the running coach. Unfortunately, it's not meant to be used on a treadmill. Hopefully that's something that can be updated!

Not only do i already have the samsung phone now this is the perfect companion as it includes AI that helps me clarify so much information. I love the watch faces and the complications as we have so many options including downloading from the plastered. I am still adjusting to the battery and learning what I like the best about it but so far the sleep is great when incorporating with other apps in the playstore as well as the samsung health app. It's the best decision I made and know it will only get better.

My baby didn't disappoint me, instead made me proud. I am still figuring out all the features. But very happy so far. Beautiful sexy design, looks sleek even on my thin arm, specifically love the two finger pinch dismissal of notifications, side button customisation, app notification settings. I haven't used the health tracking yet. I would have loved to be able to manually lock the watch with the wrist detection turned on. But now I need to turn it off to be able to lock it manually.

Not only does it offer the fitness app with various exercises but it also offers additional health features, such as sleep apnea monitor, blood oxygen levels, AGEs Antioxidant levels and more! If you need a good watch to monitor to health and fitness this is it. While it doesn't diagnose any condition, (always see your doctor for diagnosis of any health issues), it can help to alert you to changes or differences with monitoring using the various features it offers a consumer! I like that I can silence my alarms on my watch and answer calls. I use the galaxy AI feature fairly often. The biggest drawback that i've found is that I might get a day and a half of battery life out of it.Sometimes less, it definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Usually, it's right when I'm about to go to sleep, or when i'm trying to do something with it that it needs to charge. I don't really do that much with it throughout the day. The face is set so that I have to tap it to wake it up, but it still is not great for longevity and battery life.

The round design of the Galaxy 8 is very nice. I love how Samsung doesn't over hype features, they just add them! Like here, here's this awesome feature for you to discover! You're welcome! I thought the double pinch feature added to the other brand's newer watch looked so cool, turns out, it is! That's just one of the fun things that I discovered the Galaxy 8 is capable of. The wearable app is great, and easy to navigate. I love the health monitoring features, as I'm a little older. I would definitely recommend the Galaxy products.

The biggest compliment for the Galaxy Watch8 it has enough genuinely useful features that I wear it every day—and as much as possible at night. Mine is LTE, so I can actually leave my phone behind and still make calls and send or receive texts. I've gone for walks while my phone was charging and stayed connected. Of course, when I spotted a deer, I suddenly wished my watch had a camera! I use it to record voice notes and important conversations, translate languages, track steps and sleep, check my heart rate, control my phone's camera, and much more. During a landscaping project, recording conversations for later transcription and review was incredibly useful. Wrist payments are fantastic. I keep several cards available and can choose the one with the best rewards. My watch even works as my Anytime Fitness access fob. The 44mm size is comfortable even on my smaller wrist, and I love having weather, UV, battery, steps and time available at a glance. Battery life could be better. My biggest wish is basic Teams and Zoom support so I could see chats, check meetings and join calls. Give me those—and maybe that tiny camera—and my phone really could stay behind!

I bought this watch to use features such as heart rate BPM and checking on sleep apnea .I still can't get sleep apnea to work even though I've got the watch on super tight and the phone plugged in .I've had it over a month and I still can't figure out how to do almost everything .very confusing for a first time user of Smartwatch maybe I should have got a cheaper one. I also have to charge the battery once a day to keep up with it .the display also won't print big enough letters so I can read it without cheaters .if there was a way you could show me how to use these features correctly it would greatly be appreciated signed disappointed

I asked it to pull up a doc I was editing on my laptop, set a reminder on my watch, and find a show on my TV. No extra steps. I’ve slowly built out my whole Samsung lineup over the years: Galaxy Tab for work, Galaxy Book for everything else, Buds for calls, Smart TV + soundbar for movie nights, and my Galaxy Watch that I basically live in. With Galaxy AI now in the mix, it feels like all my gear finally has one brain. Samsung, you’ve outdone yourselves. This is the kind of efficiency I didn’t know I needed.

I use it while I take my dog for walks, and I depend it on it to tell me how far we've walked. The only downside so far is the battery, for me. I bought it because I have a tendency to let my phone die. I work at the hospital, so I'm on call sometimes. That means, I can't let my phone die obviously. It's pretty annoying when the watch it almost dead before the end of my day. My old watch went days without being charged. Other than the batter life, I love this watch. This is the first smart watch I have ever bought. In fact this is the first watch I've had for over 15 years other than a Polar fitness band. I bought it when I upgraded my phone as part of the contract as a way to monitor my fitness and I was pleasantly surprised at how well integrated it is with the phone and Clouse services. The only gripe I have is that the battery only lasts a day, which I can understand considering what it does, but it is really annoying having grown up with watches where the battery lasts for weeks or months. I suppose this will get better over time. But lovely watch, great design, amazing customisability.

Particularly the Health App, it has allowed me a convenient way to track my progress in weight loss, blood pressure control and sleep schedules. Working in emergency services, it is sometimes difficult to keep those things in mind. Using the features iv the watch 8 and tying it in with my z-fold 6, I have everything in one place. Using the Galaxy AI feature has also been useful in helping me stay on track with my studies at work, specifically medical studies. It can help answer questions and even offer up quizzes to help keep me sharp in the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not always accurate for step counting and heart rate. I live in Big city and do my errands on foot and some weekends the step count is less than half of other weekends when I walk all the same routes. Heart rate is something else that's sometimes off, I have a heart defect so my cardiologist wants me to have a smart watch to keep an eye on my heart rate because I have spells where I'm beating too fast for no reason or beating to slow so I do an ecg which is much different than the displayed rate on the watch face. Haven't used any ai functionality yet, I'm a bit old fashion not opposed to new tech, but don't always feel a need to jump on it.

I read the reviews that said basically the 8 was the same as the 7 with just a new display that closer resembles the apple watch but I feel this is wrong. Yes the display is shaped differently but it makes the watch face clearer. I use my watch primarily for workout tracking, sleep tracking and occasionally calls and text. The accuracy of the workouts is better and the breakdown of the information gathered is better. My sleep has been more accurately measured. I have not used the new Galaxy AI features yet but I anticipate doing so in the next week.

It’s slim, lightweight, and very comfortable. The bright display is clear both indoors and outdoors, making it easy to check the time, fitness stats, or notifications at a glance. I mostly use it for step tracking, heart rate monitoring, and sleep analysis. Workout modes are easy to start and provide helpful feedback. Notifications, music control, and quick timers make daily tasks easier, and the Bluetooth connection has been smooth. Battery life lasts about two days, and charges quickly, so it’s always ready when I need it. Highly recommend !

They both have always used Apple products, but not anymore. My son who's a police officer says the features are very important in his line of work. And my daughter the sceptic social worker says she couldn't believe the quickness, the clarity or the light weight of the Galaxy 8. My husband can not stand any kind of jewelry not even his wedding ring, but guess what? He's considering the Galaxy 8. Now this will be short of a miracle. I thought. But he asked me how fast could he get one. Wow, you guys have done a great job with the Galaxy 8.

I received this as a gift a little over a month ago and have a mixed opinion on it. The capability of it, the apps for it, and the use for it is great, definitely lots of potential. My biggest gripe is the battery. It doesn't last more than a day, unless power saving mode is on and everything ongoing setting is off. Very disappointed in that aspect.

The improvement of quality between those years was fantastic and the amount of work that was put into the software makes me want to have a whole line up of new Samsung products (buds, phone, tv, and more). I've always been a samsung fan with my phones but I usually don't get brand new but my next Samsung will be a brand new one but I haven't decided between the folds, flips, or just a normal s series yet. Time will tell which one I will choose but I will always be going with a samsung from here on out for watches.

Today is my 3rd day with my new watch. I got the 40mm in silver with the small/medium sport strap in mint. The face is plenty large for my wrist, strap is roomy enough. Cons: strap was very difficult to clip on! Battery dies quickly! I'd really like more watch faces that are more feminine, most seem very masculine. I'd love to be able to use my phone screen saver for my clock face. Pros: I'm loving the health monitoring, even an ekg and sleep apnea detector. I love the sleep monitor. Nice to be able to check my notifications from my watch. Fairly comfortable to wear. I haven't worn a watch steady so it's new. Pros:

I received the Galaxy Watch8 2 weeks ago and am very happy with my purchase! I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 and I have to say that the battery life is so much better with the Watch8 than the Watch7. With the Watch7 LTE, I would get less than 1 day of battery life, even with the LTE turned off, and just sitting around the house. With the Watch8, even walking around all day while on vacation, I was returning to the hotel room with approximately 50% battery, such an improvement! The display is also much criper, and I really like the new UI. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking for a smartwatch.

I bought this to replace my very old Fitbit. While the screen of the new watch can do fancy things, the battery life isn't even half of what my extremely old Fitbit was. I've taken off most of the programs that track various things and always have the battery saver on, but it only lasts for a few days. What is the point of having access to the different programs if running them is going to kill the battery in a day? Also the extremely expensive band I got with it gave me an awful rash on my wrist that still hasn't gone away even though I've bought off-brand ones and have changed arms. I wish I could send it back, but I'm probably over the return time.

A fundamental use case for a multiple hundreds dollars smart watch is as a fitness/workout tracker. The problem with this watch is if you are working out and look away for a period of time (Max setting is 2 minutes!), it defaults back to the watch face. So, when I'm on a bike ride and want to check my heart rate, I have to swipe left twice, find the cycle app button and press it. Seems like a safety risk. Unfortunately, after spending hours pouring through forums and videos attempting to find a configuration that works to set the 'show last app' limit to more than 2 minutes, though some videos show a 1 hour option. This watch will be returned.

Locate Samsung Health in the list and make sure the switch is turned ON. These actions will prevent the workout screen from disappearing. Also, check "Show Last App" setting in the wearable app to ensure it is not set to "Off". To do this, Open the Galaxy Wearable app and Go to Watch settings > Display > Show last app. Set it to the maximum available time. Lastly, for maximum visibility while cycling, you can set the watch to never turn off during a workout. Here's how: On your watch: Start the Cycling workout. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had a smartwatch before and just wanted a fitness tracker. But the Galaxy watch is super fun to customize and set up. It paired without issue for my Note 10+. Using the watch face to navigate is very easy too. The voice recognition works well and I haven't had any issues. There's even a tiny keyboard on screen if you want to try and type with that. So far I have Google keep and use the Google assistant to add things to my various list via voice commands. Spotify synced without issue too. My watch is becoming a perfect companion to my phone and personal assistant. I'll have to see how the Galaxy AI works with the watch.

Make sure you read the tutorials - it blew my socks off with how to use so many features I didn't even know I had!! Galaxy AI had been so helpful in seeing things organized and keeping me on track. I also use it to track my steps, and every other exercise i do. And can we talk about the sleep feature?! It adjusts to your schedule, and starts making suggestions before bed. In the morning, you'll get a synopsis of how well you slept, and in each stage of sleep. Simply put : BUY IT!! You won't regret it for a minute!!

So far it is however very user friendly. I am horrible with technology and electronics! But this watch like my samsung 25 ultra phone have features that help you to use your watch. Im learning new stuff daily on my watch. One of the things I really enjoy is all the cool health stuff it has on it. You can even do an EKG! Like what?!? This is a little private nurse on your wrist. Love the fact I can track so many things with my health and share with my doctor. By far the watch has paid for its self because it has given me some peice of mind.

This watch is a nice upgrade from my S3 classic i had for years. I didn't need or want a watch needing a network(i know i don't need to set up the network but you are still paying for the tech) so oi decided on this 8 wifi- bluetooth. It's slimmer and lighter on the wrist, weighs nothing really. The apps that weren't available with the old classic are back and so far i love this watch. the only thing that i had to get use to was the lack of a turn dial on the face, it's more like swiping a tablet. I am glad to say i got use to it rather quickly. If you want a new Galaxy watch but don't want to pay for tech you're never going to use this is a great option.

This Galaxy 8 watch has been a frustrating, defective disappoint from unboxing. The battery will not keep a charge, I get 5-6 hrs of use after a full charge, it will not stay connected or synced with my Samsung S23 Ultra, etc. Because of this it's near impossible to use the Health app which is what I have this watch for. The Galaxy 8 has had one issue after another and I would like to get a refund or replacement for this defective unit. I had no issues with my old Galaxy 4 watch except for the battery not lasting, but it lasted far longer than my 8! Even when I think it's chatted, connected to my phone, etc, it rarely records sleep, heart rate, not anything!

Can't run some Samsung apps properly that I used to run on previous watch due to permissions being so locked down. New features like vascular load and Age's index not really helpful. Don't know what results should look like for some one my age. Using a Vaseline than comparing against a baseline can let you know if improving or getting worse, but doesn't tell me how I compare to my age group. I don't feel like it's a massive leap forward. Much the same. Not worth the upgrade (so far). Temperature should be able to be measured any time. Not just while I'm sleeping. Needs work

I got the watch and it auto connected to my health insurance app and it works great. It has a built in compass, which i think is awesome. It let's you choose the face or you can customize it. It works with my samsung S24+ phone. When I get a text, my watch will vibrate to let me know. Normally in my job you can't hear your phone make any noise and if I don't have it in a certain pocket I can't tell that it vibrates, but the watch will to let me know. It is great. It tell me the outside temperature, the time and date and battery life.

I was worried that this would make me feel tethered to my phone but I don't at all. I use Samsung health now and love keeping track of my stats. I also really love the sleep mode where I can keep track of sleep - and even record actual snoring and my heart rate at night. I can even use it to pick up a call if I'm not near my phone. But the best feature - find my phone! That has saved me so much time when I set my phone down and can't remember where especially because my phone is usually on silent so calling it to find it is pointless. My husband thanks you for that!

I got the watch and it auto connected to my health insurance app and it works great. It has a built in compass, which i think is awesome. It let's you choose the face or you can customize it. It works with my samsung S24+ phone. When I get a text, my watch will vibrate to let me know. Normally in my job you can't hear your phone make any noise and if I don't have it in a certain pocket I can't tell that it vibrates, but the watch will to let me know. It is great. It tell me the outside temperature, the time and date and battery life.

The watch has motivated me so much at work also. While at work I know if I have been busy by watching my steps everyday. This watch allows me to use my debit card which is really convenient. If I happen to forget my wallet at home no big deal I can use the watch to pay using it's tap feature. Messages display which is convenient as well. If I'm driving and get a text I can simply look at my watch and read a quick message. This watch is great. I haven't had a day without it since I purchased it. There are a ton of features I never expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So lets go ahead and say that this is by far the best watch I have ever had. I love how you can personalize the watch face. I currently have it rotating with pictures of my dog. This watch is also a life saver, literally. It can detect if you have sleep apnea, heart issue's or different health concerns that you need to go and see a Dr for. That is because it uses AI capabilities to. I also love the health features built in to the watch. I take my dog for several walks a day and I forget to set the exercise feature and it does it for me. Listen, this watch is AMAZING!!! Its worth every penny and you will not be disappointed at all. Just go buy the darn thing.
