SOLVE FOR TOMORROW: EMPOWERING YOUNG MINDS TO IDEATE FOR THE FUTURE

In 2018, the global Solve for Tomorrow competition returned for its third edition in Singapore. The competition encouraged students to ideate and leverage technology to address social issues in the local community, leaving a positive impact in Singapore. In this year’s run, students leveraged on technology to help create an inclusive society in Singapore and meet the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities.

Solve for Tomorrow attracted more than 400 participants from Secondary Schools, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Polytechnics and Pre-University Institutions. Shortlisted by an esteemed panel of judges, this year’s winning teams were awarded more than $180,000 worth of prizes including a study trip to Korea, internship opportunities with Samsung Electronics Singapore, Samsung products and cash prizes
