What to do if your Samsung Galaxy Watch appears to be not turning on

If your Galaxy Watch suddenly does not appear to turn on for no apparent reason, it is typically caused by a temporary software glitch, or a depleted battery. After charging the battery, turn the power on or restart the device by referring to the method below.

Your watch may be frozen due to a temporary software issue. Performing a forced restart (reboot) can clear temporary system errors without affecting your personal data.

Press and hold both the Home key (Power button) and the Back key simultaneously for at least 7 seconds until the screen goes dark. Release the keys and your screen should light up and display the rebooting message, then the watch will restart normally.

To force restart an unresponsive band: If the Galaxy Fit freezes or does not respond, press and hold the Side button for at least 7 seconds to force it to restart.

To turn on the device: Press and hold the Side button for a few seconds.

To turn off the device: Press and hold the Side button, then tap the checkmark icon on the screen when it appears.
