Even under sustained loads, the heatsink keeps temps stable with zero throttling. It’s single-sided, which made install clean and cable-free. I use it for AI model caching and 4K video editing, and it hasn’t flinched. Bonus: it’s PS5-compatible if you’re dual-purposing. Only downside is slower 4K random writes, but for large file workflows, this drive is elite.

I have 9 drives in my current build with this reviewed product as the primary C drive. My oldest drive is several years old and I have yet to have a Samsung drive fail. (This cannot be said of competitor products that i have used in external drive enclosures) By far the most reliable. A little pricey but well worth it for the reliability, speeds and longevity
