AI Home

Get smart in your kitchen. The AI Home* with a 9" LCD Touchscreen Display is an intuitive control centre. It lets you manage and control your smart home devices** and access multiple apps. It activates when you are near and provides personalised information, like weather notifications, appointment reminders and recipe suggestions based on the food you take out of the fridge. And built-in voice recognition means you can simply speak commands and ask for information using Bixby***.

*A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required to access AI Home, our network-based service, including apps, and other smart features available through your refrigerator. **Appliances must be connected to the range via the SmartThings App and using the same Samsung account. ***A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. AI Vision Inside

Enjoy a smart way to manage your food. AI Vision Inside** intelligently simplifies your daily food management. Using an internal camera*, it can identify certain fresh food items when they are put in or taken out and allows you to manage a food list*** that can also be checked from the SmartThings App****, while also letting you view images of what is in the door bins. Also it can suggest you relevant recipes and lets you manage 'Use by date' by manually setting the date.

*Red light will turn on when camera is working. User's appearance can be captured, but surroundings other than food item will be automatically blurred. **As of March 2024, AI Vision Inside can recognize 33 food items. If the food is not recognisable, it may be listed as unknown item. AI Vision Inside cannot identify or list any food items in the fridge door bins or freezer. It recognises food items based on deep learning models, which may be updated periodically to improve accuracy. ***User may need to manually operate the list for accuracy. ****The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. You must use a same log-in account between the devices.
