    It wont even let me boot up, ive taken the sim card and battery out, but yet as soon as i return to the uk it boots up with out any trouble. some times it will jst keep displaying samsung logo n 3 network in a loop but wont bring up my keypa.d to key in my password I spoke to 3 network and they tel me there is no international block on my phne. Any answers please

    Alarm settings

    I am new to this phone, and on devices such as Blackberry you are able to set an alarm, then turn the phone off... (eg overnight) the phone will then auto power on at the desired time and sound the alarm... this does not seem possible with the Galaxy W... any ideas please?

    I had my phone in my pocket whilst doing some DIY and was unaware that the phone had activated. All my movements had been inputting various wrong combinations of the pattern. When I came to use it I discovered that I was to required to input my gmail address and password, which I did. This failed to unlock the phone. I tried a number of times using the same combination then a few times more using other passwords I have used in the past. Still no joy. Could you tell me how I can reset the phone to factory settings using the external buttons as I obviously cant using the phone apps. I have all my data backed up so Im not concerned about losing anything.

    Hi, Remove and re-insert the battery. With the phone off, hold down the Volume Up, Menu and Power buttons at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. Release the buttons when you see the Android logo. This will access the unlock/reset menu. Navigate through the unlock/reset menu using the volume buttons to scroll up and down and the power button to confirm selections. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Select Yes - Delete All User Data. The phone should reboot automatically. If it does not scroll to and select Reboot System Now. Hope this helps.

    Hi. I recommend trying a hard reset on your device. You can do this by following these steps: - With the phone switched off, press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key. At this point you should see the Android recovery screen. - Scroll to Wipe Data/Factory Reset using the Volume Up or Down keys. Select with the power key. - Scroll down to Yes, Delete User Data and select it. - Back on the first screen, scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition and select it. - Your factory reset is now complete. - Go to Reboot System Now to restart the phone. If this is unsuccessful then I advise that you contact your nearest service centre.     I'm experiencing some problems with my Galaxy W phone. 1. Android operating system freezing. 2. First text message sent fails, have to resend it. 3. In Kies it states "Your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via Kies. Any ideas. Thanks
