I researched on a lot of forumns and spent hrs researching which OLED TV to buy. The panel is a QD OLED, which makes the color a lot more vibrant and it pops! Upgrading from a QLED, the contrast and clarity of the S85F is amazing! The blacks are inky black the reds, cyans, purples, blues really pop! The brightness is nothing to worry about as I have to actually turn it down most of the time.The S85F really blew me away after I optimized it to my liking. I loaded up Batman The Dark Knight Rises bluray and OMG! The realism the picture quality produces is something ive honestly never experienced before its so beautiful.It still blows my away evertime I turn it on. I cant emphasize how much time I spent on researching which OLED to buy and now I know I made a great decision. If your looking to get into OLED TVs, the S85F will not disappoint ..I promise.

The inky blacks and deep colors make a very good viewing experience. The setup was a breeze, you can use Samsung smart things app to finish the entire thing. As soon as the setup finished, the TV quickly updated to the latest firmware. When watching HDR content, the display truly shines. The Vision AI companion button is helpful in getting some insights on the content playing on the screen or anything in general. The speakers on the TV are surprisingly good with dolby atmos. Tizen tv OS is very easy to navigate and looks elegant. If you have more Samsung devices, its easy to share content between the devices and the TV. This is such a fun and nice product to have at home.

The panel quality is really amazing, color is brilliant and vibrant. Peak brightness is amazing and good for HDR content. The ai image engine works like a charm which upscales legacy resolution video to fit the modern look and make it smoother frame rates. When connected with external devices 2 out of 4 HDMI ports support 120hz which can provide great gaming experience. This panel is Pantone certified which content creators can use this TV as their monitor as well. This version of the Tizen OS runs pretty smoothly but still has the same issues as all other versions- when the TV runs for long periods of time, the UI may slow response for couple seconds. Overall this TV performance super great and really fits my home, love the building quality and panel performance! Highly recommend!

Setup was honestly one of the easiest I’ve dealt with, everything walks you through step by step, and the QR codes made adding streaming services quick and painless. A couple things stood out right away. The solar-powered remote is a nice touch, especially not having to think about batteries. I also ended up liking the Daily Board feature more than I expected. It shows weather and headlines when the TV is off and turns on with motion. I was a little concerned using it in a bedroom, but it hasn’t been an issue at all. Picture quality is where I was most skeptical. I’ve used other OLED brands for years, so I wasn’t sure how this would compare. But honestly, it holds up. The picture is crisp, colors look great, and it feels like a true OLED experience. Sound is better than expected too, I’m not using a soundbar and it still sounds solid. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. It feels like Samsung is right there competing with the top OLED brands now, and I’d seriously consider them again next time.

Watching my favorite anime shows on it has been a breeze, and I have been very happy to see high-octane action scenes play out in such a grand picture. The interface itself is also speedy and responsive, i do like the fact that the remote has solar cells too so if i leave near my window it will stay charged or at least allow itself to not die as often otherwise. But super happy with this TV. This is my 2nd Samsung TV I have owned, and I can say they don't disappoint.

I followed their instructions and have the brightness at the highest setting and changed the mode to give me the lightest picture, but it still stinks. They keep telling me this is normal, but what's normal about not being able to see what is happening on your tv? Daytime scenes and sports are great which is why i gave it two stars rather than zero. I will never, ever buy a Samsung tv again. My advice is to buy any other tv. This one is terrible!

The side profile is surprisingly thin in person and it’s impressive how much picture quality they packed into something that slim. Setup was easy and the legs were simple to attach without any issues. It’s a little heavier than another Samsung model I own, but maybe that comes from the higher end tech inside. The picture quality is where it really stands out. Colors look rich and accurate, and the contrast is a big improvement over what I was using before. I’ve been playing my Nintendo Switch on it and games like Zelda look incredible. OLED brings out details that regular LED just can’t match. The sound quality has been excellent on its own, even without a soundbar, so I haven’t felt the need to add anything else. With all the streaming apps already built in, I haven’t needed to plug in anything extra. The smart interface is clean, quick, and easy to use, and everything loads smoothly. Overall, I would definitely choose this TV again. It’s a solid upgrade and the picture quality alone makes it worth it. The solar powered remote is also a nice touch and something I hadn’t seen before.

Setup was a breeze; had it up and running in like 10 minutes tops. It’s ridiculously thin, too—probably the slimmest TV I’ve ever owned. Still need to figure out a wall mount since it’s so slim, but totally worth it. The picture quality genuinely blew me away. Colors pop, blacks are actually deep black—not that weird gray I got used to on my old TV. Gaming is a huge step up thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, making fast action look silky smooth. No more blooming issues either, which was always annoying on the LCD. I love how the built-in apps make everything easy, and the Samsung TV Plus channels are a cool bonus when I get bored of Netflix. Plus, watching HDR content now looks ridiculously good, especially since Netflix added HDR10+ support. It almost feels 3D at times; stuff on screen looks like I could just reach out and grab it. Sound-wise, it syncs perfectly with my Samsung soundbar—way more immersive than I expected. Also, props to the solar-powered remote—no more hunting for batteries, thank God. I just wish they’d bring back the dedicated HDMI input button on the remote; that’s honestly my only complaint. I seriously can’t imagine going back to a regular TV after this. If you’re on the fence, just go for it—you definitely won’t regret it.

After getting the correct bolts to mount it to my existing setup (M8 machine screws, 1.25"), I was able to get everything installed without issue. I paired the TV with my new Samsung Music Studio 7 speaker, and using the Q‑Symphony feature, the TV and speaker work together to deliver really impressive sound. It’s a noticeable step up and fills the room well. One of the biggest improvements for me has been the lack of glare. In my living room, I usually deal with reflections from daylight and overhead LED lighting, but that’s no longer an issue. Watching during the day or at night has been a much better experience overall. The picture quality is outstanding. The image is extremely crisp, and blacks are truly pitch black without the light bleed you typically see on more basic HDTVs. I connected both an Apple TV and a Fire TV Stick, and everything looks fantastic on this display. I also appreciate how seamlessly the TV integrates with the Samsung SmartThings app. Having additional control and getting notifications — like alerts from the washer or dryer — is a nice bonus that fits well into my existing setup. I would highly recommend the OLED experience to anyone who hasn’t owned one yet, especially if you’re not impressed with your current TV’s performance or struggle with glare. The S85F delivers stunning picture depth and color, excellent sound, and cool software features. I have AI mode turned on to control both the picture and sound. All the colors pop on the screen and no adjustments are needed. The unboxing was easy and the TV was light enough to lift out on your own. The instant I turned on my Samsung TV, it detected Samsung SmartThings on my Samsung phone and paired it with ease. After a quick software update and my S85F TV was ready to go. While it did come with a solar remote, I find using my phone as the remote as it offers a lot of choice at my fingertips. I find myself intuitively using the mouse pad and point and click throughout the TV. There are a lot of software features. The Ambient mode turns my TV into a work of art when the TV is not in use. The built in light sensor adjust the brightness of the based on the room's lighting. While the sound sensor provides an alert on my phone if the TV picks up loud sounds. The Daily Board adds weather and the ability to record a memo on the TV. It can also turn my phone into a Karaoke Mic to sing Karaoke with the TV and provide screen mirroring with my phone. The S85F detects automatically whenever I play a game and switches to Game Mode automatically. The AI button provides additional information on the television shows that I am watching like who is the cast and suggests what to watch next.

This OLED isn't as bright as my previous QLED but that is the big difference between QLED and OLED in my opinion. It's extremely easy to setup and automatically finds anything that you attach to it, like Sky or EE box, surround sounds, playstations etc and you can then easily switch to these through the source button, anybody could setup this TV. The only thing you need to do is connect to small feet to the bottom of the TV which act as the stand. The sound of this TV is very good, does it give a surround like sound, unfortunately not but you wouldn't need the volume too high to get a crisp clear sound and there are different settings for when you listen to music etc which does enhance the sound. The remote control is very simple to use and if you want you can also connect your smartphone to it which enables you to control the TV from your phone. It has a screensaver on the TV which comes on if your on apps if you've not touched it for a while which is great for energy saving. The remote also gives options to automatically go to apps like amazon and YouTube which makes it easier. There is also a smart TV remote which is exactly the same but a lot smaller, and is solatlr powered and charges through light. All in all a high quality TV, 55 inch is a perfect fit for our front room, it's ultra slim and can be fit yo a wall and has the brackets within the box. I always say go as big as you can with a TV as long as it fits. If you do purchase this you won't be disappointed.

But when I connected the Samsung OLED S85H for the first time and saw the dazzling display of colors, I felt someone had removed a filter of dullness from my eyes, and that now I was actually seeing what true colors were really like in my living room! Now, this is not my first rodeo with OLED screens. My cellphone and PC monitor are both OLEDs. But there is a marked difference from watching an OLED screen of 7/24 inches, to one of 55! The setup went smoothly, since it was automatically detected by my Samsung phone. The smart functions of the TV have all of the streaming apps you need, and it even has XBOX Game Pass remote included, so if you have a good connection, you can actually play Game Pass games on this TV with just a controller. The TV detected my soundbar without issue, and the setup only took like 10 minutes. The image quality of this TV is magnificent. The blacks are real blacks, not grey like my old TV. The colors pop with dazzling brightness and contrast, and the TV has different safeguards and functions to protect the OLED display from any burn-in. I connected my game console to the TV, and gaming here is a delight as well. Overall, this TV showed me how much TV technology has advanced in the past few years. I now regret not getting a Samsung OLED TV sooner, since I could have been enjoying my media consumption exponentially more. But better late than never! This is the best TV I have ever owned, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the S95B, S95C, and S95D flagship Samsung OLED TV's, so my expectations were tempered for the entry level S85F OLED going into it. I can honestly say my expectations were set way too low. The S85F is full of premium features that even some of my previous years' flagship models didn't ship with. The color is obviously rich and accurate, and the blacks are deep and inky, which you would expect from a Samsung OLED. But this TV includes a whole host of cutting edge smart features that it would take all day to list. I love the new UI. My previous TV's got the One UI update, but they don't implement it the way this year's TV launch with it. I love the fact that Samsung is finally using the mobile UI we all know and love in a practical way on their TV lineup. One UI is so much better than the old Tizen OS. Everything is controlled, tweaked, and accessed through pop-up windows instead of the entire screen being populated. It allows you to tweak settings without missing part of a show. I also like the integration of Samsung's Daily Board. This allows your TV to display useful info using voice commands, even when the TV is turned off. Samsung is always at the forefront of cutting edge but practical features. I'm using the S85F with my new HW-Q990F Dolby Atmos surround soundbar. The Q-Symphony function allows you to incorporate the TV's speakers as additional satellites in the surround setup. The result is an even more atmospheric soundscape. The S85F provides premium, flagship level features at the price on an entry level TV. You will not be disappointed when you put this TV in your home.

We also paired this with our Samsung Music Studio 7 Speaker. You can also utilize the Q-symphony feature to get a more immersive sound between the TV and speaker. I love how vibrant and crisp the picture is. The colors are bright and more photorealistic. I can also see the TV much better because of the brightness and the anti-glare features of this TV. Watching TV when it's bright out or when we have the overhead lights on at night is no longer a problem. The TV is also equipped with many apps, so there's no need to add on a streaming device. I find the software to be more user-friendly and smoother than older iterations.

Picture quality is mind blowing with a brightness that looks superb in even a well lit room. During setup the tv prompts you to sign into your samsung account and port your settings from the other TVs, this is an incredible time saver and takes the hassle out of setting up a new TV. No se cual es el motivo de que mientras estoy viendo una película o un programa cualquiera mediante la antena (no mediante fibra óptica de Movistar), el sonido fluctua, sube y baja sin motivo alguno. He tratado de establlizarlo buscando alguna función de la configuración, pero aún no la he encontrado. Tengo otros tres televisores Samsung en la casa y con ninguno me pasa eso con el sonido. Por el contrario, estoy muy contento de esta compra, me encanta la calidad de umagen y la nitidez de los colores, el contraste los negros profundos. Estaba entre comprar este o el S95H, sin embargo no se me hizo tan viable pagar más de 1.7M más en estos momentos solo por mejor calidad de imagen (no incuyo sonido porque tengo una muy huena barra de sonido.

This TV is absolutley jaw droppingly stunning. Clean crisp pictures with bright bold colors and the darkest darks to really allow things to pop. The picture quality is so beautiful and realistic it appears as if you're being submerged into the picture. The sound quality was also very nice ! I prefer pairing my Samsung TVs with a soundbar, but even without one attached this TV certainly can deliver! I did have to help with wall mounting. Samsung didn't include any hardware so keep this in mind. That aside though this beautiful TV will blow your mind and I couldn't recommend it more.

Its NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and 4K AI upscaling provides an outstanding 4K resolution, with great color mapping and brightness boosting. The tv is lightweight and very thin. They have put so much attention to the details in the design. There are two options for the legs installation. They could be further apart so closer in the center like the way that I installed. This way I could use the small tv table that I already have and don’t need to purchase a large table for this TV. There are even covers provided for the slots that you don’t use and I love this much attention to details. Many apps are already available on the tv so it makes it much easier to use. The remote is very thin and chargeable which I absolutely love, saves me battery. The only thing that I’m not so fond of is the design of the legs. I find them too narrow and not necessarily stable. I prefer the older designs with a bit wider legs. Other than that I love this tv.

After purchasing my new Samsung smart TV I have not been more surprised at the beautiful picture this television has. The resolution is stunning connecting. My add-ons was a breeze, and everything went seamlessly. The e-arc connection was perfect for my audio system and the sound is awesome. Since my phone is also Samsung, it took almost no time at all to set it up and get all my apps and accounts added in. Took some time to figure out how to navigate around, about a half hour, but I'm almost a pro at it now, so I can honestly say it's very intuitive. i love the depth of picture. Even old movies have a new patina to them. The colors are very vivid, enough to give you vertigo if you're not used to it. The ONLY problem I encountered is with the remote. Just can't figure out how to raise/lower volume except to mute it, so I would suggest to Samsung that they have a separate, dedicated button JUST for volume control. Had to download an unaffiliated remote app to my phone to get the volume to respond. Other than that, COMPLETELY happy with this Smart TV! UPDATE: Shoulda asked a teenager for help before posting my review. Turns out, the 'volume' bar actually moves UP AND DOWN, too. So it works fine, too. There was no user manual in the box, which would have helped with the learning curve.

Deep blacks that actually look black, not that washed-out dark gray you get with older TVs. The colors pop, the contrast hits hard, and if you’re into movies or gaming, it’s basically like having a mini theater in your apartment. Gaming on it is super smooth. It’s got a high refresh rate and barely any input lag. I plugged in my PS5 and it was like I’d been playing on the wrong screen my whole life. Even regular stuff like YouTube or Netflix looks way better than you’d expect. The sound is decent for a flat TV. Clear enough for everyday use, and if you’re someone who really wants that cinematic sound, you could always add a soundbar later on. Compared to other name brands, Samsung definitely holds its own. The build feels solid, the features are packed in, and the interface is super easy to use. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality TV that looks great in an apartment setup, this one’s definitely worth checking out. Once you see something in OLED, it’s hard to go back.

Firstly, the picture quality is excellent, with super vibrant colors thanks to OLED tech and Color Booster Pro. Black color is super Black. When I watch a movie or my son plays video games on TV, it gives that vibrant burst of colors. Another element that popped while watching older movies and animations was how older movies were sharp and well-defined. The AI feature in Samsung TV is just amazing for keeping up with new advancements. One of the most striking feature was the sound of the TV. Dolby Atmos and Object tracking sound made watching movies very entertaining, as it felt like we were in a movie theater and the sound was following the action on the screen. Also, I don’t have to turn the volume up or down, it just blends in seamlessly. One IU Tizen feature is easy to navigate, also Samsung has preinstalled Samsung TV for free content. I can’t stop swooning over this TV with sleek shape and high performance, along with smart features. This TV has won mine my family, and we are enjoying every minute.

Easy to see the inky black colors against any image on the screen. We frequently watch movies, which really show off the 4K playback, but it impressed me more when watching non 4k content. 720-1080p content, the upscaling is great. Cannot tell you are not watching 4k content. The viewing angles are great too, for a bedroom tv in the center, I can watch it from the side at my desk with out loosing any detail. Sound is not bad for such a thin tv, but the included Q-symphony allows you to pair other Samsung Bluetooth speakers for more immersive experience. The new UI is also very easy to navigate, did not take long to learn where everything is. Easy to find Apps, fast and snappy. My kids love the automatic game mode, it's like it cranks it up a notch, all their games look so much better. The rather plan on this than their monitor. We use SmartThings are home, and this OLED allows us to control our home from our TV how great is that. Over all we are loving this OLED, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great TV for any place in your home.

Compré este producto hace un año, la compré junto con la barra de sonido Q990 y honestamente estoy muy decepcionado de ambos, la conectividad es pésima, presumen mucho de que son productos con conectividad inalámbrica pero se desconectan a cada rato y es muy molesto estar viendo una película y que a mitad de la nada se va el audio porque la barra se desconectó y cuando quieres pausar para esperar a que se vuelva a conectar, el control remoto tampoco responde… abres la app de Smat things para usar el control remoto digital y tampoco responde. Para ser productos tan caros resultan ser una porquería. No los recomiendo y si pueden busquen otras marcas.
