                                    I recently received my Samsung Galaxy watch 9 on the 5th of August,2026. I do not even know from where to start. This is my first ever smart watch, and this review might not go through everthing. I am just giving my honest opinion. The customization, comfort, and simplicity of using this watch has been a life changer for me. I am able to chose whichever image, stats, clock type is very great, as I can always change my options to have a different look at the tap of hand. I also have the watch on when going to sleep, so I can get tracks to how my oxygen intake, sleep score, and energy will be for the next day. The watch looks and feels super durable, and straps do not move an inch if somone tries pulling them. The Battery is great so far, as I do need to give the watch sometime to learn and adapt to my usage, habits, and some updates that go in the background for it. I try to charge the watch around 25-30% to full, so I can have it ready for sleep tracking. The accuracy of the watch is 100% on point with my phone, I can always feel confident when getting the exact time from it when my phone is out of reach, or when driving. Overall, it's a very great for watch for daily usage, stylish design, affordable, and so comfortable that I do not even feel it on my wrist.

                                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im very health conscious and wanted the latest and greatest that Samsung had. I chose this watch because it had all the latest features. Well I have found that with all these new features you give up battery life. The watch has no battery life at ALL. I have to charge it daily. I will go to bed at 100% and wake up with it between 75 - 80% battery life. When i go to the battery settings its shows that the battery life is 1d 11h. I previously had the watch 7 and it easily lasted 4 days or 5 if i shut down the features. I guess with all the new features and the AI its just not worth it at this time. Im disappointed as i had such high hopes.

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

This year they increase the battery size and I was a huge fan of that. I also like the fact that they increase the brightness of the watch screen in addition to the battery size so the watch face is now brighter. My last Galaxy watch survived a motorcycle accident so clearly they are built tough and I will continue to get a new watch when they release as I look forward to new features. I would be a huge fan of eliminating the bezel around the watch in the future so they could increase the screen size without increasing the watch size.

                                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the watch 7 40mm bt and the battery life was getting short, barely making a day, with gps turned off. It was time to upgrade. I chose the same version in the Galaxy watch 9 40mm Bluetooth. First thing I noticed was they changed the wrist strap. Went back to one that doesn't tuck inside and requires a loop to contain the tail. I kind of preferred the one that tucked in. Both were considered the sport strap style. Once it was setup i did notice that it seemed faster, switching screen was quick and apps loaded quick. I do like some of the new health stats it has. It has not been a week yet so some are still "calibrating", it says. Overall it was worth the upgrade from a 7 to 9.

I couldn't be more happier. the watch first well with two sliders to keep it snug. The apps transferred from my old watch and had alot of other apps included. The set up was fast and convenient. I couldn't have asked for better experience. I also have the samsung galaxy note 20 5G linked to the watch and I also added a data plan which was awesome because my old one didn't have one and I couldn't get calls unless I had my phone. Now I can receive and make calls without my phone. I love it.

The bad - I didn't anticipate having to replace my collection of charging pucks (one in shave kit for travel, one in bathroom to charge while bathing, and one in greatroom to charge while watching TV). The Ugly - There are no OEM Watch9 charging pucks to be found. They're sold out. Samsung, consider including at least 2 pucks when making existing pucks obsolete.

I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The operating system is smooth and efficient enough to last me throughout the whole day. It is lightweight and very stylish especially the white color it goes with my new Fold 8. I still need to dive deeper into the health features but already did one night of the sleep apnea and link to my service provider since i chose the LTE model over the Wi-Fi for convenience.

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

The Watch9 may just be my new favorite. I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

I also chose the Misty Blue band and I really like the look. I am Super happy with the improvements in the GPS response when I start a workout. I feel like the profile is a little lower but it has a more Square or Boxy look. So far everything is working great. I also chose the Misty Black band and I also like this look. I have the small medium band and wear it on the 4 th whole but sometimes place it at the 5 th hole.

My most recent watch was the Galaxy watch 7 which I loved. So far I enjoy the new Galaxy watch 9 but my only complaint is the small band that it comes with is not comparable inside to the Galaxy watch 7. It barely fits my wrist and I will not be faced with having to buy a new watch band when in watches past the small band fit with three to four loops of excess room. Otherwise I really like the fitness of the watch 9 compared to the watch 7 and find that it forms to my wrist so much better. The battery seems to be a little better as well.

                                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Galaxy watches since the Gear and most recently had the Galaxy Watch 7 44mm and decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 9 44mm. I'm honestly not very satisfied with it and feel the 7 was better for the following reasons: 1. In my opinion the Watch 7 had better wrist straps than the 9. 2. I'm not liking the squircle design as much and find the rounded design to be better. 3. The Watch 9 does not lay flat to charge on the the Samsung dual wireless charger. This is a miss on Samsung's part. Only way to use the dual charger is to fold the wrist straps in opposite direction and loop them, which is annoying. Otherwise it's not much different from than the 7 on how it functions. As for the battery after 12 hrs of usage its down to 65%. The responsive seems fine with no noticeable lag. I'm interested to see what improvement the Watch 10 will bring.

I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

                                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest change right off the bat for me is that I no longer have thr rotating bezel like I had with the Watch 6 Classic. It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

I like the sleek look, feel lighter on my wrist then the 6. More importantly I got it for the updated health sensors and battery. I can fully utilize Samsung Health to better monitor my health. I additionally like the bigger battery, it is already noticeable compared to my 6 how long it lasts. I still miss the twistable bezel but overall, I really love the Galaxy Watch 9.                                     [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy watch 9 to replace my Galaxy watch 8 because I love to how slim and lightweight the Gen 8 has been. The battery life is a bit low and the responsiveness of the screen and UI has always felt a bit delayed, but otherwise I've had no complaints with the Gen 8. I mainly use it for health tracking and exercise tracking while listening to music or audio books. The upgrade to the Galaxy watch 9 seems to be marginal at best. It has slightly better battery life and has a slightly snappier feel to the UI overall, otherwise it maintains the strengths of the 8th gen and remains very comfortable and practical. I love the idea of the Galaxy watch ultra and it's much larger battery, but I prioritize the slim design and much reduced weight compared to the ultra model.

                                    Don't do it! Stick with Galaxy 7 or below unless you want these personal AI analyses which I am not remotely interested in. I was happy with my Galaxy 6 but the battery life was declining as it got older so I bought an eight and found out the battery life on that was kind of poor. The models 8 and up have a different band attachment such that they do not sit on any of your flat Chargers or the back of your phone so all those wireless chargers for your watch are gone. Well I still had one aftermarket travel charger that the eight would sit on but I didn't keep the eight for long because of its poor battery life. So I just got the nine and surprise it doesn't even go on the aftermarket charger that I had, only a new type of charger so now I have more crap to buy and more crap to carry with me when I travel. And I see no benefit to this new complicated ai. Tracking my steps and workout is more than enough for me. Hopefully the battery at least lasts longer but if I had to do it over again I would have just kept my 6 and charged it more often. I hope they fix these issues with the next release.

                                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Watch Ultra -- the sixth Galaxy Watch I've owned -- had been tracking my sleep erratically. The Galaxy Ring has been a nice interim solution, but the new Galaxy Watch 9 fits my aging, boney wrist much better and I'm betting the enhanced software and sensors will ensure better sleep tracking. My wife and I -- both born in the 1940s -- are inveterate fans of all the other health tracking functions available on our Galaxy watches. We're also big fans of Samsung's trade-in program. We were probably among the first to preorder and get the new Watch 9. Ours arrived at 3PM today, August 5, two days earlier than projected. By 5PM our new watches had already recorded the 2,100 steps it took for us to walk to the nearest UPS store where we dropped off our old watches for return to Samsung. Many thanks!

All have been durable and reliable and I expect no less of the "9". The feel and operation of the watch seems first class and user friendly. The ability to receive notifications and keep my phone silent is priceless. Apps intergrate seamlessly with my watch and the Watch 9 is a valuable extension to my phone. Watch system is very intuitive and convenient to operate and health features can be very valuable to many. Great to keep up with activities such as hiking which I enjoy. Map navigation is also a big plus on this watch. Again, the Galaxy Watch 9 is a great extension of my phone.

I can say that it was worth the wait. This watch is amazing, lightweight, and comfortable. I used to never wear my watch to sleep, but now I do because I barely notice it's on my wrist. Overall, this watch is amazing, worth the price, and lightweight. I'm very happy with my purchase and will always be a Samsung fan.

UI is extremely fast, battery was stuck in 57% for almost an hour! And the new bands,elegant but comfy. And my fav feature is the sleep tracker. I monitor my sleep every single day and use the tips from samsung health to improve it! Samsung keeps innovating year by year and this is a good proof of that, thats why I chose samsung everytime!!

I enjoy the extra workout/health futures and I think it will help me towards my fitness goals. The interface is smoother and crisp. The Watch 9 face is a bit bigger and square shaped, while the Watch5 was round, but the visible screen fills out the watch face more to the edge.
