the problem with 43 inch monitor is that it is a bit too big as a pc monitor. the great thing is this model has flex screen feature which can adjust the pc screen size from 43 to 20 inches. as seen on one of the pics, you can reduce the size which is perfect for me. when i want to watch movies, i increase the size to 43 inches. the 4k is super sharp and mini-led screen is bright, colorful and has great contrast. reviewers mentioned the monitor not detecting inputs but i never had issues. it detected the pc and streaming stick that i connected to the 2 hdmi inputs. also use the physical button on bottom of the unit to bring up the input as seen on the picture. overall, i love this 43 g7 monitor.

It's been a few days since this monitor/TV was delivered to my door on time as promised. My main use for it for professional use, hooking it up to a MAC Studio that runs my DAWs. The graphic is exceptional and the 1 Ms refresh rate is top notch. You may have seen a few negative reviews but I do believe that a non-technical person may have a few issues hooking it but all it takes is a little bit of patience to read the manual and follow the instructions. The MAC studio recognised the Monitor ASAP and additional features were also available such as HDR. I am not a Gamer so I can't speak for that community. Over all in my opinion it's an advanced design that will catch on. Firmware updates are automatic. Note. Samsung offers Military discounts.

There are 2 features I think most people don't know about which I really like and helpful: 1) Faster menu control by phone app - When selecting input, it takes couple of steps with the remote. Instead use the phone app(Smartthings app) to change input instantly, see pics. The phone app gives full control of the monitor menu. There is also physical menu control on the bottom of the monitor. 2) Flex Move Screen - Adjust screen size from 43 to 20 inches(see pic), this is really useful when I use as pc monitor. Overall I highly recommended this monitor.

I code and do video editing work and web dev on it and it is superb. Use it with my PC desktop mostly but have a Mac laptop using it to extend the desktop to as well as a PlayStation, so many inputs. All look great because there are so many configurations and settings you can tweak! Oh, also, it's a dang smart tv and you can screen cast to it from mobile! So happy I have it, I could never go back! Do yourself a favor and get you one!

Make sure you have a decent size desk so you don't have to move your head much, it's very big. For the price it's a great choice. It's fantastic for gaming and the size can be adjusted for your preference. Pros: Huge, bright and solid dark levels Smooth picture Ghosting still present, not too bad however Cons: Flat, so a large desk is needed to have good viewing angels. Calibration out of box isn't very good. Happy with my purchase!

But I find myself watching shows on the monitor more than my TV. The gaming mode makes a beneficial difference for me and the flex move option is so cool. I was a little worried about 43" but the flex move allows for me to adjust the screen size to what suits me best. The screen sharing with my mobile device and it being so well integrated with my smart home was a huge selling point. For me this monitor checked all the boxes.

If you are looking for a reliable computer monitor for productivity, design, or gaming, this is not the one. Despite its impressive specs on paper, using this as a daily driver for a PC has been atrocious. Here are the biggest issues I've come across in the 9 months since I've had it: Doesn't Even Work Sometimes: About 20% of the time when I turn on my computer, I only get an image on a third of the screen (see screenshot). Doesn't matter which laptop, desktop, through a docking device or not. Impossible Calibration: Getting colors and contrast correct is a massive chore. You are constantly forced to choose between a "washed-out" image or "crushed" shadows where all detail in dark scenes disappears. Even when you find a "middle ground," it never feels truly accurate. Awful Software: The built-in software and menus are poorly designed and incredibly clunky. Navigating it to make simple adjustments is painful. Serious Performance Issues: I'm not a huge gamer - I didn't even know what ghosting was despite playing the same game for the past 10 years on a different monitor, once I switched to this one - I instantly found out what it was - and it's in everything: games, videos, basically anything with motion - no matter what settings I've tried from online videos tailored to this monitor. TLDR: Do not subject yourself to this monitor if you want to use it with a computer. Might be fine as a TV but have not tested it.

I have one as my work monitor works great with may windows open due to its size fits everything . Work docs.excel etc looks great and easy to read .perfect for getting rid of two monitors. And for the home I have one in my master bedroom the added streaming and also the gaming is superb. When we watch our favorite streaming apps works great. Picture is breathtaking the mini led system works great with hdr. And the wifi works amazing. For gaming it's great too 120hz vrr works super great no ghosting or ugly glows .this is my favorite monitor ever highly recommend it for all use.

I also love the screen it is so good and I love playing darker video games on it! Such a big improvement over my old ips monitor! One thing I did realize is that sometime in faster scenes or games there is a little bit of screen lag or I think it's called ghosting. But it hasn't bothered me too much. Overall if you want a 2 in 1 gaming monitor and absolutely awesome TV this is the monitor to get! It is an absolute beast!

I bought this monitor about a month ago, and it has been nothing but trouble since day one. Nearly every day I face the same issue: constant “No Connection” errors that can only be fixed by unplugging and reconnecting the power. On top of that, the monitor sometimes powers on by itself just to display a blue “No Connection” screen. The experience is made worse by the unnecessary “smart” features Samsung added. Instead of powering on quickly like a proper PC monitor, it takes close to 30 seconds to get going. For a premium display, this is incredibly frustrating. After this experience, I can confidently say I won’t be buying another Samsung monitor again.

As the title says, (and now that I've lived it with it for a few weeks) I absolutely love this monitor. Sometimes I just look at it and chuckle --it's huge! Make sure you can sit back a bit as it's sheer size necessitates at least 2' distance between the monitor and your eyes. I sit closer to 3' back and at that distance, it's super comfortable. At this size, screen real estate is amazing. Also amazing: the visuals. Contrast is excellent, brights can get SUPER bright, and blacks can get super black. I actually bought this along with the G8 OLED to compare, and while the OLED can't be beat for saturation, vibrancy and black levels, this comes pretty close. Kudos to that Quantum mini-LED technology. Games look amazing and I don't notice any tearing or blur. I'm able to run VRR right on up to 144hz. Colors and sheer immersion due to screen size are totally engrossing. Lastly, I might be in the minority (?), but I love the Tizen OS that allows you to use this like a smart TV. Having easy access to Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu etc in a slick interface with the included remote (honestly, can we give a thumbs up for the included remote? Way better than the usual janky thumbstick) makes nighttime movie watching a pleasure. Not to mention, it seems like the streaming apps upscale resolution vs watching them from a browser like I used to. So everything looks really good (and again, big!). It did take a bit of time and trial and error to calibrate colors and settings to my liking. Someone else posted online about calibrating this specific monitor and you can find his settings if you do a search. I have a Mac so I simply used the built-in calibration tool and that was a big improvement. From there I compared with the OLED I was testing and dialed things in further. But honestly, the default settings are pretty good as well. Anyway, I've rambled enough. Now that I've gotten used to the size and have made a few adjustments to my desk arrangement (ie sitting further back) and the color settings, I'm 100% happy with it. If I had a nit, it would be I wish it was just a bit curved, because that would help a bit with the edges. Not a deal breaker by any means, because once I'm playing a game or watching movie, I'm totally engrossed. Just crossing my fingers the monitor lasts for many years to come! Nice job Samsung

I thought it could replace two older monitors 32 and 27 inches with just one 43-inch and save some space on my desk. But it didn't work out. A monitor this big needs to be at a further distance than standard work monitors, otherwise, you'll get neck pain. Don't get me wrong, this monitor looks amazing, the image quality is great, the sound is decent, and is huge. If you have a deeper desk where you can place the monitor at a greater distance from your eyes than you'll normally do with smaller monitors, then it could be a great investment. or if you're using it mostly for gaming and you don't need to be sitting so close then it will work great too. But as a WFH monitor, I have to say, stick to 32-inch monitors, which I believe have the perfect and maximum height you can use without hurting your neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this monitor it's probably one of my favorite so far that I've used it's versatile and any subject such as gaming as it suggests or even watching TV shows or movies. The very minimal setbacks in it such as when you meet the TV the blinker keeps showing that it's muted although I've already put it on mute. But with all the other features it makes up for it. Whenever I game I tend to use the virtual aim point a lot in shooter games like Call of Duty or Gears of War etc. One of my other favorite features is the dynamic black equalizer it really helps out a lot whenever you tend to need light in the game but don't have it at the moment so instead I turn the setting up to five which is the max and it allows me to see it almost everything. Overall this is probably one of my favorite monitors that I've used and I'm planning to continue to use it. Thanks for your product.

Being able to adjust the aspect ratio and size from the settings makes this priceless. The only small issue I have with the monitor is, it will give me notifications that it lost network signal. This is connected through wifi and by ethernet. It pops up a box in the upper right hand corner and blocks visibility when viewing.

[Cet avis a été recueilli en réponse à une offre.] j'ai acheté ce moniteur au départ pour ma console Xbox serie X pour profiter de la 4K. Aucun regret de ce coté là le rendu est magnifique. Ensuite étant abonné à Mycanal, j'ai profité des contenus 4K proposé (film, sport...) et je profite surtout actuellement de la taille de l'écran (43 pouces) pour regarder sans problème les JO en multi live. (voir photo). Au départ c'est un moniteur mais qui fait également smart TV. Installé dans ma chambre, la taille est suffisamment importante pour être apprécié sur une courte distance. J'utilise d ailleurs beaucoup plus cet écran que la télé du salon qui fait pourtant 55 pouces, c'est dire. Il y a suffisamment d'entrée pour brancher également un PC portable et profiter de l'affichage multiplie pour télétravailler et profiter de Mycanal en même temps par exemple. en résumé, un très bon moniteur et accessoirement une très bonne smart tv .

This thing is either totally washed out, or blindingly bright, nothing in between. The brightness adjustment is greyed out and nothing I can do will enable it. Been on Chat with support for 2 hours now and it's 15 minutes wait between each response. Will not connect via the PC app either. Could be a nice monitor, but we'll never know because support is so horrible. I'm returning it as defective.

The antiglare feature helps keep focus on the screen rather than deal with bright lights distracting from your content. The Samsung UI although can be a bit slow when changing inputs or accessing settings. otherwise for day to day use this monitor is a great value for its price.

Love the picture in picture, able to watch TV and work on the PC. Video switching still glitches as in all previous reviews I've seen, have to unplug my Firestick to be able to switch to PC. Apps are great so I don't have to plug in the Firestick. I am overall happy.

The picture quality is amazing, it has great color accuracy, and it being 4K 144hz i have no issues with tearing. Samsungs game hub is a game changer. Having the most important settings just one click away is fantastic. I can’t imagine going back to a monitor without it. I highly recommend this monitor.

there is so many settings in the system that it took me 1 month to study them and understand. It has stanning picture quality in UHD content but I would say requires time to set it up if you are planning to use it as monitor. Pros: Best picture in UHD, Cons: Too bright (yes, it is dazzling me even if I set brightness to 0)

Reading and analyzing blueprints to formulate new bids or maintain changes on existing projects is an essential component of what we do. For years I relied on large size drawings generated by plotters to evaluate designs. The paper plots were very expensive and very difficult to version track and store. The 43" Odyssey monitor has been a godsend for my business. It has facilitated the move of a critical step in our business from the physical to the digital domain. I can now store and version track hundreds of projects and thousands of pages at a substantial savings. No more rolls of expensive plotter paper and stacks of cabinets for storage of physical medium. The Odyssey has performed flawlessly for the 3 years we have had it. It offers fantastic colors and the very high resolution graphics we need for our drawings. The Odyssey was so reasonably priced it paid for itself in the first quarter of the first year of operation, with the elimination of plotter paper and ink purchases.

Did a dead pixel test as soon as I set the monitor up and immediately found a dead pixel in the bottom left quadrant of the screen. Looking at my current options, but will most likely return due to the poor QC from Samsung.

nothing to complain about the image... Usabilty on multiple input sucks but who is to blame the monitor or the source, while each getting too smart in negotiating to each other to do nothing - switching of/stand by - type/EDID/resolution not recognized anymore after wakeup -> cable pull+reconnect solves this but causes others of the 'smart' behaviors (brightness,m game mode ...) - game mode reactivates itself At least one complain about the image; in 1 of 20 times on powering on, only the rightmost third has (part of) an image probably the backlight not properly intialized

Built-in Smart Hub means I can fire up Netflix or Disney+ right on the screen, no PC required. The Game Bar and Flex Move Screen are super handy — I can resize the screen, change refresh rates, or tweak aspect ratio in seconds. Switching from work to gaming to streaming is ridiculously smooth. 🌈 Gorgeous Picture Quality The first time I turned it on, I literally said “wow.” The Mini-LED backlight makes blacks super deep and highlights pop like crazy. Colors are rich, HDR is bright, and dark scenes in games look exactly how they should. Playing Cyberpunk 2077 or watching Dune feels cinematic. ⚡ Zero Noticeable Lag Input lag? Basically nonexistent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's easy to see the appeal of this Mini LED monitor for gamers, especially with headline specs such as 144Hz refresh rate, plus the dedicated Game Bar which lets you adjust relevant settings as you're playing. Whether you're playing on PC or console, this is clearly one of the better options out there at the moment – whereas if you're doing computing first and gaming second, this kind of price point will likely feel like a mis-match. That's not to say it's a bad monitor for working on documents. Not at all – but Samsung has clearly prioritised gaming here, and that should play into your decision. With its 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and typical 400 nits of brightness, it shows off games really well, and that extends to videos from the web or played over streaming apps too. It can cater for TV viewing too, so for some you'll want to consider this almost as a 43-inch gaming TV alternative, marrying the best of both worlds into one desktop solution. As far as the price goes, well, it's Mini-LED – it's at the forefront of what you can get right now and, clearly, its. Everything considered, though, it's another quality entry in the Neo series, especially for gamers seeking ace performance.

I've had this monitor for about a week and I absolutely love it. I can't not speak for the other reviews obviously but I bought this monitor and for the price and features I think it's excellent. The picture quality and response times are good. I used it as a computer monitor with the display port and have not had any issues. The audio is surprisingly capable. The remote and TV features are ok, yes there is lag. But it's a secondary feature of the monitor. Just have a clear understanding of what you want before purchasing. It's definitely a large monitor.

Piece of crap that thinks its a Smart TV and wants to act like a Roku device instead of a PC monitor. Spent 2 hours trying to connect to my Win 10 system both with "Easy Connection" and "Manual Connection" and then found a complain thread on Samsung's site from many people complaining that the Display Port has all sorts of problems. No wonder this "monitor" was marked down almost 50% -- Samsung is too busy offering media options (join Netflix, Disney, ESPN, etc.) from all their partners on this monitor rather than creating something technically sound. Expect to hook up this monitor to your PC and have it work? Think again. Requires a Samsung account and a bunch of other hoops to jump through. Will be taking it back tomorrow. Horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has been one of the best monitors I have owned. The picture is crisp and clear, the construction seems a bit flimsy when moving it from one desk to another, but that is not a deal breaker. There are a plethora of settings to scroll through to get your personal preferences set that work for just you. The remote control is small and sleek, it has a minimalistic design and works great. As an everyday monitor for work though, I wouldn't recommend it. For Gaming and Streaming, it's awesome for both and I recommend it for those uses. I plan to purchase another one to use in the bedroom for streaming shows, music, and other content. If you plan to use a monitor for everyday work, I think that a dual 32" setup is optimal for that purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for everything. Once this monitor arrived, I was amazed at the size and how well it was packed. I inspected it for any damage or quality issues and found none. Using this monitor has given me a new experience and I can't go back. The ability to stream my entertainment is nice and give more time to use this monitor. I suggest you don't put this near another samsung TV or monitor with remote or you operate both at the same time...haha. Love this monitor and tempted to get another one once I get a bigger desk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving this so far! The size is great for my setup and the picture quality is awesome. I'm loving the HDR on this monitor. The amount of I/O is almost exactly what I need. I just wish it had one more HDMI port for all 3 major consoles. I only game at 60 hz and it works fantastically. A complaint I have is that there is no quick way to switch between input sources. If I didn't have to constantly go to the home menu to switch, this would be perfect for my needs. Overall though, fantastic monitor and money well spent.

Este monitor es excelente. Con una configuración adecuada del color y del HDR, la calidad de imagen rivaliza con uno OLED. La verdad es que la diferencia con el OLED no amerita pagar el doble, pues este es el mejor en calidad precio. No se dejen engañar, si pueden verlo en una tienda, comprobarán por ustedes mismos la calidad de imagen. Lo único que no me gustó es el software, su sistema operativo no es intuitivo y al control le faltan botones para poder hacer más que subir volumen o cambiar entrada

Having read some of the previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive about buying the G70NC but given my needs and budget at the time, this ended up being a worthy purchase as a PC Gaming Monitor. Out of the box, the picture requires tuning to get a satisfactory image but once you fine tune it, it produces a great one. Fortunately, the monitor provides you with a wealth of tuning options, so if you're the type that likes to fiddle around with settings, you'll enjoy it. If you want a perfectly calibrated monitor out of the box, you'll be disappointed as this will require a little experimentation to get right. Fortunately, I had a flatmate with an OLED TV to provide a point of suitable point of reference. It won't generate the same sort of pop that an OLED has, but I got surprisingly close.

The image quality is ok. But the signal detection and wakeup from sleep have issues. When the monitor enters sleep with computer, then the computer wakes up. The monitor will only show is 800x600 resolution not the 4K resolution. Even with remote to turn off and on the monitor. It'll stuck with low resolution. I have to unplug the power cord and wait a few minutes then plug it back, then the monitor will be 4K resolution. It's not happening all the time but it's very frequent.

I love this monitor and ABSOLUTELY ******* HATE this monitor. Picture is great the feature are good. I love that I can screen share even without internet connection. Every single time I try to connect a pc to it through the Display Port it is with repeated effort and luck that the video comes through. I have checked for updates, used different cables, and even different pc's. No luck. It almost seems difficult on purpose. So if you plan on using the Displayport DO NOT BUY!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really like this monitor but the most frustrating issue is the input. When I wake my computer up from sleep mode the monitor does not detect it using HDMI input. Instead it gives me 60 seconds count down and goes blank afterwards. The only way around this was using the DP connector and even with that I still get the 60 second count down and sometimes it will switch to that input and turn on. Very frustrating when you use this as a computer monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meant to buy a smaller monitor so when this arrived I was surprised. Setting this thing up was a breeze. First thing the picture is awesome out of the box but there are also gaming modes that will post your FPS in real time if you want. I play on PC and Xbox Series X and even use this for editing and designing.. The "eye saver" does exactly what it says as well. Over all I love this monitor and will be getting a smaller one for my wife bc she loves it too.

Great picture but extremely quirky software. Not sure why Samsung can't fix this but what the only solution for the screen hanging or not switching inputs correctly is too unplug the monitor from the wall outlet and then plug it back in to restart the system. This will reset the system 90% of the time and then all will be fine. In my case I bought a cheap wall switch with a remote to power the monitor on and off. Not a problem one would expect to see in 2023

This monitor is big enough for us to watch movies on, My daughter loves Not only the size but The picture quality That it provides her playing Free games. My wife says it is the best monitor she's used easiest on her eyes well working. Overall cannot complain prices. Little high, you might not get every position. Tilt wise, did you want? You're not gonna find a better Computer monitor/smart TV.

My only problem is that the monitor died and it was out of warranty so I ended up purchasing something else but I do miss my Samsung 43 inch monitor When they have an upgraded version of that monitor, I think I will buy it I think the only issue was the software which was extremely unstable, but that also got repaired with some patches

A friend of mine bought a Samsung gaming monitor but of course I had to get a bigger one. Lol I just built my first gaming computer and needed something that was going to display the full picture and resolution of what my graphics card put out. It worked perfectly for what I needed. Maybe next time I go bigger or just go dual monitor. 🤔

The color on the screen is better than my old one and is more vivd, the backlight is brighter and the streaming services are higher resolution now. The higher refresh rate is also a plus. For anyone looking at this monitor, I highly recommend it and ill be getting a second one to replace the tv in my bedroom

Amazing graphics, great refresh rate, doesn't get hot, uses very little electricity and so much more that I can't even begin to say or I will not have enough space to list all. It is worth the price and will not disappoint you. I have been waiting for a gaming monitor like this my whole life. It is also great for other uses besides gaming. Overall it's a must have if you own a TV in general.
