J’ai acheté un GalaxyBook 5 Pro en juillet 2025 et je rencontre depuis des problèmes importants qui limitent fortement son utilisation depuis sont premier jour. Logiciel : pertes de connexion récurrentes qui empêchent l’accès à certaines fonctionnalités comme les mises à jour système. Matériel : le clavier enregistre souvent des frappes en double, ce qui gêne beaucoup la saisie. Ces défauts cumulés sont très décevants pour un appareil de cette catégorie et nuisent considérablement à l’expérience utilisateur.

La gamme est esthétiquement irréprochable et très agréable à utiliser au quotidien. Sur ce point, rien à redire. En revanche, la qualité de l’écran est une immense déception. Je possède un Galaxy Book 4 Pro acheté en fin septembre 2025 et l’écran s’est fissuré sans absolument aucun choc, aucune chute, aucune pression, aucune exposition à une chaleur excessive. Ordinateur toujours protégé, manipulé avec soin. Conclusion : une fissure inexpliquée, qui ressemble fortement à un défaut de conception… mais évidemment non reconnu par la marque. À ce niveau de prix, ce type de problème est tout simplement inacceptable. On parle d’un ordinateur premium, pas d’un produit d’entrée de gamme. La finition ne doit pas seulement être belle, elle doit aussi être fiable. C’est extrêmement frustrant d’investir une somme importante pour se retrouver avec un produit dont la durabilité ne suit pas.

The device is exactly what I'd hoped it would be. I can plug in an external DVD drive (needed in presentations), and the interaction with OneDrive is way more stable. I had issues displaying files in Parish Council meetings using the Tab10 Android Dex. I have added an external mouse for the ease of displaying Adobe documents. The display is so clear. Using it like a Touch-Sensitive mouse makes it so adaptive to the use I need. It is so thin, I almost cut myself on its sleekness ;). The fact that I haven't specifically commented on the onboard memory and processor is that they are not a negative drag in any of the functions I carry out. If I don't notice it, then it is more than sufficient for my needs...all positive

Bon laptop, solide, bel ecran. Néanmoins la qualité de la caméra est vraiment moyenne. Probleme avec le contre jour, ajustement automatique de la luminosité tourne en rond (ajustement en continu, l'image ne fait que changer..). Bref, caméra très très moyenne. Connexion avec mes earbuds Pro pas évidente, un seul écouteur ne se connectait ! j'ai réussi à régler le probleme, mais cela m'a demandé de bidouiller ... bref integration à l'ecosysteme Galaxy: peut mieux faire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my galaxy book 5 pro to replace my old dell laptop. From opening the box the laptop oozes quality and perfection. Easy to set up and connect to WiFi and my Samsung phone. The laptop is not fast but ultra fast and so smooth. I can get tasks done in seconds compared to my old laptop. The battery life is amazing and so quick to fully charge. All I can do is praise this machine it's a beast ,16 inch makes the screen nicer to look at the clarity of colur and websites is next level. Browsing is fast and STRESS FREE. The speakers have great base.

Super produit, Super batterie Mais fragile, le châssis se plie juste en transport normal. Il ne durera pas dans le temps et je risque de ne pas le racheter si ce n est pas modifié.
Très beau produit, au quotidien très agréable à utiliser et performant. Qualité d'image irréprochable, mais qualité de l'écran en lui même très décevante : après un mois d'utilisation à être posé sur un bureau uniquement, pas de chute pas de choc, pas de chaleur excessive, 2 fissures spontanées d'un bout à l'autre de l'écran. C'est un problème connu par de nombreux utilisateurs et qui c'est malheureusement confirmé pour moi. J'imagine donc que c'est un défaut de construction. A ce prix, j'espère que la réparation sera prise en charge par la marque.

En termes de construction, c'est tout simplement irréprochable, qualités des matériaux et assemblage, on a un appareil haut de gamme entre les mains qu'on prend plaisir a transporter et à manipuler et a utiliser quotidiennement. En termes de specs évidemment on achète en connaissance de cause, mais il a qq limites de puissance qu'on pourrait se permettre d'exiger au regard du prix. Mais selon l'utilisation qu'on a, on a un bijou entre les mains et c'est peut être le déclencheur n1 🙂

un produit beau raffiné mais hélas déçu par l'autonomie qui initialement affichée à 21heures, mais même avec une utilisation ultra soft comme la navigation sur internet et léger visionnage de vidéos YouTube affiche moins de 5 heures..je n en revient pas, je renonce définitivement aux écrans tactiles les 2 en 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great laptop that’s perfect for everyday use, whether you’re working or just relaxing. It looks very nice, with modern finishing, It’s super lightweight and slim, so it’s easy to take with me wherever I go. The 15.6-inch AMOLED screen looks amazing, with bright, sharp colors that make everything from movies to documents pop. A performant laptop that doesn’t disappoint. It runs smoothly even when I got a bunch of apps open, or large files or I was editing a video. The keyboard feels great to type on, and the trackpad is super responsive, making it easy to get things done. The battery life is great, it last through a whole day of use without needing a charge. It stays cool even when I use it all day long. It’s a great choice for both work and play. I recommend it.

Just about Everything exceeds my expectations of this great device. Well specced, great functionaity, fast. I've worked in IT for a large part of my life, and the processor in this Notebook is the fastest of any device I've ever used outside of direct access to mainframe computing... back in the day! It's sleek, almost wafer thin, and has a good heft (weight) to it. The display is large and very clear to my ageing eyes and the memory is plentiful. I simply can't recommend this notebook enough!

I'm incredibly disappointed in this laptop. It looks great, but never judge a book by its cover. It is very sluggish and freezes. I have had major freezing and glitch issues doing basic excel and losing hours of work! start up times are slow. In genreal this laptop is slow. I have a 6 year old laptop starts up in a 3rd of the time and is so much more capable than the Galaxy book 5. My advice is to avoid and that Samsung should stick to phones and washing machines.

C'est un bon ordinateur. Il est facile à manipuler, et à changer ses paramètres. J'adore que je peux utiliser son écran tactile quand je dois lire des textes. L'I.A. aide beaucoup pour mes cours. J'adore que pour utiliser les raccourcis des touches F1 il faut d'abord utiliser la touche FN. C'est très pratique. Bien sûr il faut faire attention aux 2 différents paramètres, celui de Microsoft/Windows et celui de Samsung. Mon ancien ordinateur était un Asus avec écran tactile, cette ordinateur est un peu différent car c'est comme un MacBook mais il est très utile quand tu es en étude supérieure. Je suis à l'aise quand j'utilise l'ordinateur à l'université car je n'ai pas de problème. Bien que c'est chiant que je dois le charger en cours de journée (genre quand c'est autours de 14h-14h30, j'ai utilisé l'ordinateur pendant 5 heures d'affilée) mais ça va j'ai une batterie externe adaptable aux ordinateurs portables. Cette ordinateur se charge rapidement surtout qu'il se décharge lentement (j'attends que ce soit autour de 60% à 40% de charge pour le recharger car l'icône de batterie montre que c'est 20% et c'est seulement après 5h30 utilisation). Je le recommande aux étudiants qui ont besoin de lire beaucoup de textes en ligne pour leurs cours.

Après un mois d'utilisation, je suis ravie de cet ordinateur ! Rapide à mettre en route et à prendre en main, avec des fonctionnalités utiles et une batterie qui tient ses promesses ! Petit point négatif : impossible de trouver mon Galaxy A56 avec la fonction "Appareils à proximité", les deux sont pourtant bien connectés au même compte Samsung et ont les pré-requis pour pouvoir se connecter... mais Samsung Flow remplace très bien ce petit défaut !

Cela faisait 6 ans que je n'avais plus touché à un Windows car je n'ai jamais remplacé mon ordinateur personnel précédent et ait utilisé mon Mac professionnel depuis. Dans l'ensemble, je suis satisfait de mon choix de revenir sur Windows avec un Galaxy Book pour mon nouvel ordinateur personnel ! Le son n'est largement pas aussi bon que sur un Mac Pro (même avec des écouteurs malheureusement), mais l'ordinateur s'allume très vite, fait tourner des jeux récents mais pas parmi les plus exigeants en graphismes, et j'ai pu me servir de WSL2 pour me faire un bon setup de développement. En tant qu'ingénieur, c'était un critère majeur pour moi : je voulais combiner la possibilité d'installer des jeux avec l'expérience développeur d'un Linux ou Mac. Pour le moment, WSL2 tourne bien et fonctionne comme une vraie distro Linux. Autrement, l'ordinateur est incroyable léger et est plutôt beau. Le pad est moins agréable qu'un pad de Mac (le clic droit ou drag-and-drop requiert un appui trop fort à mon goût). Cela m'oblige à prendre une souris pour jouer aux échecs en blitz, sinon la précision du pad en drag-and-drop sans appuyer est trop faible, et trop lente en appuyant. Enfin, l'ordinateur souffle un peu comparé à un Mac M1+, mais il s'en sort plutôt bien et redevient rapidement moins chaud et plus silencieux quand le pic de CPU passe. CoPilot est extrêmement utile (dommage qu'il ne puisse pas accéder au disque) et tourne très fluidement. Dans l'ensemble, ce Samsung Galaxy book me permet d'allier développement, light gaming et activités de tous les jours. C'est tout ce que j'en demandais, donc je peux passer outre les petits défauts comparé à du hardware Apple!

Globalement très satisfait de ce produit. Haute qualité de finition et de l'ecran, autonomie correcte. Avant l'achat j'avais des doutes au sujet du clavier, les touches ayant une course très courte à l'appui, mais finalement c'est assez ergonomique pour moi. Une particularité de la carte sd - impossible de l'insérer/extraire avec juste ses doigts, mieux le faire avec une pièce de monnaie, genre 1 centime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sheer excitement of receiving this parcel and opening the box! The laptop is beautifully made, lovely elegant looking laptop. Given the size, 16", I was hugely surprised to find out it was super light and extremely thin compared to other laptops that are only 14"! Booting ups and set up was a breeze, windows prompting everything very simply and straight forward. The screen is a thing of art too, bright and vivid and didn't suffer from any sun glare at all, even during the bright daylight shining through. The laptop performance is amazing, it handled everything I threw at it, even without a dedicated GPU it still ran a few games at decent FPS and had no real issues with playing any streaming at 4k etc. Overall this is a beauty of a laptop, thin light and powerful. The battery life has lasted a long time too, since getting it over a week ago, I think with heavy usage everyday I've only charged it 1.5 times. Would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having owned Samsung laptops previously I loved the functionality of its screen and keyboard. I also like the ease with which files could be transferred between the Book5 and my other Galaxy devices. However it unnervingly took over an important phone call from my mobile when I was hanging on in a queue when I started it up to carry on some other tasks. I then shut it down rapidly in fear that I would be unable to answer the call on the laptop and started up my old Microsoft Surface. I did not find the Book5 as easy to initiate as other laptops and had to return to it several time to get it synchronised and feel at ease with it. The biggest disappointment had been the short battery life. Although the machine is new it will not last more than around four hours with the battery set to charge to 80%. One of the reasons I wanted to replace the Surface was its short battery life after six years of ownership but the new Book 5 is little better.

So impressed with my Book5 Pro. Wanted 32gb ram for photo editing. The laptop was smaller and neater then I expected. Screen is beautiful. Runs Lightroom really well. Would have preferred 1Tb storage, but can I work with the 500gb. Touchpad works well. Keyboard feels good and types well.

Love this laptop. Very sleek and elegant. Performs well and responds fast. Screen quality is excellent. Sound quality is good. Integrates well within the Samsung ecosystem. Ocassionally have some issues with my Galaxy Buds Pro3 pairing with the laptop.

Powerful enough for editing and producing my YouTube videos and with enough battery for browsing and enjoying watching the vibrant screen all day without the need to recharge. The 16" screen trumps the 14" for when I'm working with Excel or Word and having the Number Pad really adds to the productivity you can get from the Book5 Pro. Having previously seen the benefits of Windows Hello, I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with facial recognition, but then finding out how simple and easy signing in was when logging in with the fingerprint sensor, any disappointment vanished. Another big plus for me, as I tend to lounge with the laptop on my legs, was that there doesn't seem to be the same temperature build up that I have experienced with other laptops, along with the quiet running and lack of fan noise, I find it extremely usable. A huge trackpad, fast processor, large storage, long battery life, all the ports I will ever need and a camera that makes video calling a breeze, this Book5 Pro ticks all of my boxes and after purchasing it, I have no regrets whatsoever. A huge recommendation from me and if, like me, you are a Samsungphile, it works seamlessly with all of my other devices, from my S24 Ultra and transferring files to streaming to my TV's, excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gradually converting to Samsung, fold phone, watch, ring, tablet, laptop was next! I've never had a 16" laptop before and was worried this would be to big and heavy, especially as I already use the Tab S9 Ultra. However, it is a work of beauty, not too heavy and is easily used on a lap or desk (or coffee shop!). Just to show off a little, you can easily use the tablet as a second screen (see photo). The laptop is really slim, and feels really well built with its metal chassis. The Galaxy Book5 Pro supports copilot+ pc and galaxy ai features which just seems to get better and better each day. Combined with this new Ultra7 Processor - everything is just quick, from browsing the web, to streaming, to photo manipulation. Then you have the 16" screen, which is a thing of beauty. I can easily multitask word documents, or browser pages. I haven't had an opportunity to test the battery life, it just doesn't seem to consume battery, but I do not believe I have really put it to the test. It will come travelling over the ski season, and I will be able to provide further feedback after that, but in general it coped really well with watching / streaming videos, writing documents, browsing. Finally, the integration between other Samsung products is just sublime. Using the tablet as a second screen just worked so easily. Putting the Galaxy Buds3 Pro's in my ears then just linked to the laptop. The One UI works (and keeps improving with updates). So far - amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a lot of Samsung products from their phones, tablets, watch and television, a laptop was next on the list and this has certainly not disappointed. The Book 5 Pro is lightweight and sports a really good quality and vivid 16inch screen, perfect for editing photos and videos as well as showing them off. With 16GB of ram and fast Ultra 7 processor processor the laptop handles and processes videos as well as games without struggling or overheating and remains nice and quiet. The Book5 Pro sports a good sized keyboard as well as a numpad which is really useful when working with figures and for use with media editing. The keys are easy to press and responsive with no drops and whilst some keys are a little smaller such as the enter on the num pad, these are quickly got used. Graphics wise, ie the amazing AMOLED screen, things are really good. Great brightness, colours and definition allowing good and true to life images and videos to be show. Likewise tha laptop is really good with modern games such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, providing good quick gameplay and defined graphics and cinematics. The screen is also touch sensitive which is very useful. Whilst having a good large desktop screen, I find myself being able to use the Book5 Pro screen a lot more due to its quality. There is a very large track pad which allows for use with the left or right hand easily and it is really responsive and allows for fine detailed movements as well as fast travel across the screen. The Book5 Pro is nice and slim and fits nicely in my photographic case along with my camera gear, or slips nicely into my backpack without taking up much space. There are two USB C ports of which one can be used for charging the laptop, as well as a USB A port, an HDMI port, a headphone jack and a microsd card slot. The card slot is great for my action camera cards to be able to offload the footage and edit. Sound is where I would say things are let down a little as it is not as rich or with base or powerful as one would expect for such a premium laptop, however you can improve things a little with the Dolby controller settings. Battery life is great, lasting all day when editing and playing back videos and allows still for some gaming without the need to charge, so use on the plane or when travelling is great. The included charger is quick, compact and small. Overall a great laptop for every day use at home and when travelling.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
