Watching movies and series is exciting and you feel like you are part of the action. It's a beautiful, sleek looking sound bar and the subwoofer is small enough that it fits in our entertainment center, however it produces larger than life sound for all of our entertainment needs. It sounds like a VIP concert playing in the comforts of your home. One of the best features is that you don't have to play at a loud volume and disturb your neighbors. The HW-Q600C/ZA paired easily with my firestick. I want a separate one for my game room. This is one purchase that you will not have buyers remorse.

Since I already had the 9200S wireless rear speakers I chose this soundbar. All I have to say is WOW what a difference Dolby Atmos makes. The sound separation is amazing! There's been more than a few times I've been caught off guard and had to rewind the movie to make sure what I heard was from the movie and not in my house. Lol I'm using this with my Samsung AU6000 55" TV. The Q Symphony compatibility is an added bonus. With it on it adds even more depth to your sound experience. If you're on a budget and want to upgrade your viewing experience I'd 1000% recommend this.

I was a bit intimidated with how to set this up but the directions were pretty easy to follow. I really have not had a high quality speaker or speaker system with newer technology TVs that I’ve owned in the 10 or so years. I was impressed with the lightweight feel of the soundbar and that it was easy to place. I played around with the placement trying to maximize the acoustics in our space. I was particularly impressed with the clarity of sound. It really made a huge difference from the standard tv built in speakers I’ve become accustomed too. I am continuing to learn about the technology and experiment with different movie sounds.

As of right now I rate the overall experience absolute garbage. I connect via hdmi e/ARC on both tv and soundbar it doesn’t connect properly. I checked all connections to ensure the proper hdmi slots, have the setting turned on for eARC. Can get the audio but when I choose sound settings it will only show audio output as tv. I pair with Bluetooth to see if it would show that way and it does exactly as it’s supposed to. With Bluetooth though it’s not as good quality compared to hdmi, it won’t turn off automatically with my tv and doesn’t have the q-symphony setting either. I have submitted a ticket and await the response as I have loved Samsung for many years and this is the worst experience with any of their products.

When we upgraded our TV to the Q60D, we knew we couldn't live without the immersive sound experience. Enter, the Q-Symphony system and the Q600C. We initially just got the core soundbar (with included sub-woofer) and once we found just the right configuration, it elevated the viewing experience and was exceptionally easy to setup. But now we've added the rear speakers--equally simple to integrate--and I don't think we'll ever go to a movie theater again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the HW-Q600C/ZA 3.12 Ch Dolby ATMOS Soundbar was that it was very long in length. I purchased this as a upgrade from my old system. It took a little effort to install because I had to purchase the optical cable that was not supplied. Once I returned the soundbar connected to my firestick. The soundbar remote is still not working. Will have to continue trying to troubleshoot that. As far as the sound goes, the subwoofer and bar pair together are a dream made in heaven. I have a new appreciation for movies and music. I hear everything and I do mean everything. The chimes in songs to utter in scripts. I'm amazed that I missed all of this before. I can't wait to test out all of the features.

Don’t get me wrong, the hw-q59ct is an amazing model and I was very happy with it. However, this product is a definite upgrade. The Dolby Atmos and the auto sense feature is awesome. The device detects the input codec and adjusts accordingly. Dialogue is super crystal clear and the included sub bumps sick. Deep bass without much distortion at high volumes. This paired seamlessly with my Samsung rear speaker extension system for an even bigger soundstage. The Q symphony feature works great as well. If you want to get in the weeds and fine tune your EQ, this system also can accommodate your needs. Overall, I Highly recommend this sound bar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Q600C mainly for movies. The sound is very good and balanced and not overpowering. I did add the rear speaker kit to the set. For about 2 weeks I was experimenting on different sound setting and levels with the rear speakers. After several movies, trying different settings, I have finally broke the code and got a good balance of sound. FYI, I use the Q690c with a Hisense U8N TV using the eARC. Works well, I don't get the little extras that you would get with a Samsung TV, which is a little sad, but still got great sound for the price I paid.

The setup was easy. Just plug and play. My TV automatically detected as external speaker. Its really easy to use the soundbar as a speaker for playing music via bluetooth. One of the best features is the wireless conection to the subwoofer. No more extra cables. I didnt how far apart they would stop working. Its great for gaming and for movies. I highly recommend this product.

When I do get good sound, it sounds perfect, and I can enjoy the sound that emulates the whole room. Volume features are annoying sometimes, but it is easy to figure out. Bluetooth is a little hard to set up, and when I turn on my TV, it disconnects right away. Nothing too crazy for it not to work, or to troubleshoot. Overall it's a wonderful item, and would reccomend.

However, I encountered a problem when exploring the bluetooth function. Prior to using the bluetooth my audio, connected via HDMI(ARC), everything was working fine. After changing the source function back to HDMI my TV wasn't connecting to the sound bar via HDMI anymore. Instead of saying connect to Q600. It said connected to "receiver". I ended up having to using to bluetooth function only, which isn't very practical.

Pairs easily with a Samsung TV with onec-conmect, such as the frame. Only done side I have started to experience is that when I wake my TV from picture mode the soundbar does not respond, unless I turn the power on and off again on the TV, or manually press power on the soundbar. Other than that small but annoying inconvenience, this soundbar is great and I would highly recommend.

We’ve been through quite a few soundbars through upgrading and this has the easiest setup by far and also included a wall mount which others don’t include that. Right now we just have it sitting ontop of our projector to test it out in different rooms to see where it sounds best. Bass module packs a lot of boom for being such a small size. We had it plugged in through HDMI to our TV outside and it definitely made a big difference while watching movies outside and still kind of gave us the feeling of being submersed by sound even though it’s outside and not reflecting off walls. Overall, it’s a pretty good bang for your buck and would highly recommend this to anyone that’s looking for a quick plug and play solution to have decent sound in their house.

Mediocre device for sound. The sound bar never worked properly when I hooked it up to the original TV that I purchased with it it kept saying attached to an arc which it was attached to that set up. I attached it to a separate Samsung TV. Every time I turned on the television, I would have to turn off the sound bar turn it back on and then press on the sound and the sound would come on. After 13 months it just quit. Of course it has a one year warranty. I’m sure a very limited warranty at that.

Download the update and install it via USB thumb stick to your soundbar. If you need additional help, there are how-to instructions on this page. This will allow you to update your Soundbar automatically or manually right from your phone or tablet. Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. Just got yesterday and set up was so easy my 4 year old granddaughter could have done it. People saying that instructions are bad they are not even needed. The sound right out of the box was unbelievable but after a few minutes of playing around with it I got the best sound ever. Only thing I wish is that it would connect to smart home so u could control through phone. I had a POLK AUDIO COMMAND BAR that this replaced it was complete trash and that right where it ended up !!!

I am just not feeling the subwoofer. My previous setup had a boomier subwoofer and it had to be lowered so I would bother the neighbors, this one lacks the boom. I have lowered everything and highered the bass and still to no avail. I'll try to get a bigger subwoofer next time or go for something pricier but as of now not fully 5 stars.

You can control the volume of the treble or bass sound, press the TONE CONTROL button and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons. Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. Only thing I can say I wish was different is I really wish someone would come up with a mount that would attach the sound bar to the bottom/Top of the tv and not have to put more holes in tour wall just to mount the sound bar but besides that I recommend everyone buy one of these sound bar and sub packages. The sound is absolutely amazing. As I say in all my reviews I absolutely love any and all Samsung Products. Trust me I have tested a huge amount of dif Samsung phones and tablets,headphones and every smart watch except for the watch 6 which hopefully I'll be able to get one very soon, and tvs and sound bars, and Even the washer and dryers but hopefully I'll be able to get a Samsung refrigerator soon as well but got to save up the money lol. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow I am just blown away by this soundbar! This is true Dolby Atmos surround sound at a very affordable price. There are two upfiring speakers, a dedicated center speaker, and even side-firing speakers for a truly immersive sound experience. You really get the best out of the soundbar when connected to a Samsung TV. The sound quality, is more immersive and louder thanks to the new Q-Symphony features. The mids and highs are very crisp and the bass from the subwoofer shakes my bed in my room. I can only get to volume level 50 before the other people in the house start complaining that I need to turn the volume down. With 360 watts of power, this is more than enough sound for your room, or even living area. I think it's even loud enough to play music for a party outside connected to bluetooth! I'm very happy with this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, this is a very good soundbar, particularly for it's mid-price point. I would recommend as a quality soundbar that works as advertised within this price range. A bonus for those tight on space in their setup... the subwoofer is compact and fits nicely behind a chair in my office within the wall indentation. Very well designed to be able to pack that power in such a compact design that many of us require as we integrate these devices into our homes.

Got for Christmas to upgrade from a 5 year old Vizio soundbar and sub. Clarity coming out the actual soundbar is better but the sub is non existent in my opinion. I have it hooked up through HDMI ARC cable and the tv sound setting is on pass through. The subwoofer setting is at +6 the max setting. And on surround. Very disappointed for the price comparison. My 150 doller Vizio sub thumps and it’s much smaller. Night mode and voice enhance are nice though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long story short, amazing highs and all around sound. HOWEVER, maybe I have some settings wrong or something, but on my Q6CT that I had, when connected with my 2016 Samsung TV using dts 3.0. I couldn't turn the volume above 6 without rattling the windows in my apartment. I know these speakers have the capability to be the best on the market - over Bose, over Yamaha, BUT Samsung has done something with their software that doesn't allow certain codecs to play - causing a major loss in sound quality. My terminology is probably wrong, but if I really knew what I was talking about then I would likely know how to bypass Samsungs software woes to begin with. But that's not the case and I'm stuck with a subwoofer that I literally have to hold my head up to or hand to just to see if it's playing. I really wanted to give 5 stars too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this sound system last black friday for half off and for what i got for its a pretty good bang for the buck.it sounds loud and clear but lacking a bit in the bass department for me. It has typical sound bar features you can get from any other sound bar, it bothered me that i couldnt add it to the smart things app for better easier control over it but its not compable for some reason. Its the little things for me, but its still decent overall.

It pairs easily with the TV and when paired, the clarity and sound is phenomenal integrated from the TV to the soundbar is phenomenal. The adaptive sounds are great as well because you hear the important aspects of whatever you’re watching without the excessive background noise. Overall, it’s a great soundbar that provides an immersive experience.

I've have this soundbar for almost a year. The sound is decent, but even with QSymphony on, I still get voice that doesnt match up with the video. If QSymphony is off & just using eArc, then voices are never synched with the video. I don't know why I am having issues, but I have the Q800 on a different model Samsung TV in our main living room and I have the same exact issue. The one thing that really surprised me about the unit is that it doesn't have Wifi?? I thought all modern Soundbars had Wifi? This is the 4th different model if Samsung soundbar I've had as I've upgraded over the years and this is the only one that does't have Wifi. Very surprised. How are we supposed to get updates for it since I can't sync it with my Smart Things App?? Even my 2013 model 3D Samsung TV (which I'll never get rid of because its 3D) has working Wifi.

If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, select SYNC in SOUND CONTROL (looks like a gear), and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons. 2020/2021/2022/2023/2024 Samsung TVs have a feature called Audio Pass-Through. You can utilize this feature on your Samsung TV to correct your audio-sync issue. On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through. You can also press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.) Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When an update is available, you can update the Soundbar by connecting the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar. 1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper right corner. 2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model 2. The sound is like it’s coming from every direction and what’s even better are the compliments you get when you have guests over to watch a movie. My girlfriend says it’s better than being at the movie theater! The only thing missing are the expensive popcorn prices and the wailing kids to make it truly feel like a movie theater experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out the box, it was easily connected. My Samsung tv was able to identify the sound bar and instantly connect which made set up a breeze. Overall, I am very happy that I have this for my home entertainment. Movie sound is soo much more crisp than the tv speakers. It gives more of a theater feel. My only complaint is the bluetooth will disconnect randomly, but have no other complaints! I am very happy with this product!!!

This was bought to get rid of all the wires from my previous surround sound system that included a receiver. What a blessing! No more wires hanging everywhere and the frustration of detailed configurations. This speaker set up was one plug in the outlet and one hdmi to the tv. Boom, Done! The sound was nice and loud with crisp clarity. Perfect for what I needed. It had ARC support, so it works well with my Apple TV box and remote. The small input display made it easier for me to see what input I was on without being any fuss. The sub woofer is adequate and acts well with Video Games and a Big Blockbuster movie, just ok with tv shows. Blows the TV speakers away. For the price this system delivers. For the value of what you get, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

It looses connection at variest times, even after it's been on for hours, sometimes won't connect with tv. It was professionally installed with the TV. I hope it does not get worst. It's hooked up with the HDMI-Arc Model - HW-Q600C/ZA I don't know if it's mostly the TV or the Sound Bar that has issues?

Only wish that Subwoofer attached to it was a lot louder but I've got enough Overall 8/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar is impressive! With the subwoofer connected, I FELT the sound and it was awesome. It's easy to disconnect the woofer and still have better sound than with the TV's speakers. The con is in the setup and the unclear instructions. They don't seem user friendly unless you're a technology geek. I am a geek and it still took several read throughs to understand which setup was going to work best. Sadly, having an older TV meant using the audio port, so I had to order that. It would have been nice if the soundbar came with cables for each setup, considering its cost. Another con that wasn't referred to anywhere is if you turn the soundbar over to access the usb, power, etc ports, you better not press down on the bar, because it goes into some test mode that blasts it's own test music at the loudest volume. That volume could be heard in the neighborhood.

It works seamlessly no matter what application I am using it for. It sounds absolutely SUPERB at all times. From ease of set up, to overall use, sound & aesthetic. I have never had a product that was so simple to connect to and set up. Out of the box to plugged in and running took less than 10 minutes! Exactly plug & play! It looks great in my TV stand and doesn't take up a huge amount of space or stick out like a sore thumb! It is extremely easy to use on a daily basis on my TV. The sound options are numerous and easy to access. I think anyone would find whatever sound profile they prefer. We also connect to it from numerous tablets, phones and PCs and different times. It is simple to access via Bluetooth on any device.

I Replaced my older DVD Samsung home theater with a new Q600C on my new 65" Q LED. Set up was a breeze. Unlike my older systems. I decided to wait on adding wireless surrounds. My issue is up firing speakers don't give the separation I expected when compared to my old 5 separate speaker (2-Front. 1-Center 2-wireless Rear. 1-wired subwoofer using an optical connection). Maybe I was expecting more than it's capable of, but looking at my room size. I thought i would get the top speakers bouncing off my ceiling. I don't seem to find separate speaker volumes like my previous system. I decided to replace systems due to my older system continues shutting down. I like the the clear and clean sound the Q600C produces and for most part the Dolby and sound features. I like the smaller less cluttered Q600C over my previous system. Maybe after more usage. My rating will become a 5 star.

Well this is the 3rd sound bar I purchase and this one has issues with the Subwoofer I did the trouble shutting and settlings on the manual but the Subwoofer still to low almost no sound so it makes the sound bar very cheap with no acoustics,I got this one for my Qneo TV but this bar even been more expensive and the Q series I do not see any difference in sound. I loosing my confidence in Samsung Soundbar...

Unfortunately Samsung's quality control has failed this soundbar. I purchased it and it was working fine until one day it randomly made a strange noise and abruptly turned off. It wont turn back on. Be careful purchasing these expensive devices. I have read previous negative reviews of Samsung soundbar and dismissed them, but unfortunately these products are faulty with no offers to fix from Samsung.

I was really impressed by the difference the soundbar made when watching a movie or even commericals for that matter. Dolby Atmos sounds great after fine tuning. listening and watching Netflix in my living room My bedroom I have a Samsung 55” Q7FAM connected to Samsung Dolby Atmos Q67CB. Unfortunately the Q7 tv doesn’t support Dolby Atmos so I’ve connected it with a 4K streaming box. IT SOUNDS GREAT Now .

Awesome sound since it pairs nicely w/TV Q-Symphony. But, the soundbar has what I consider a flaw. The window on the front right side of the soundbar is way too SMALL. You need to sit right in front of it to see what is scrolling. And, not easy to trigger on/off settings. Would be nice if that window could pop up on the TV screen or make wider longer on the soundbar.

However, this soundbar is just perfect! You really feel immersed by the sound! The bass is not too overpowering and I can hear every word, even soft whispers. I love watching my K-Dramas and this soundbar just made it a whole lot better!

I hear surround effects from the top channels and they are subtle but noticable when movies take advantage of them. I got it for a really good price used and I love that I don't need to wire up my whole apartment. Plus I can add surround channels via Bluetooth later.

The frame has a great picture but lacked in a full sound. This sound bar and sub improve the sound quality while the up-firing channels add great depth to the surround sound. I have this sound bar works great, so got the rear wireless speakers to get surround sound. They will not play any sound . I have them connected the blue light is on. I can turn the rear soun up to 6 and no sound comes out. This is the 9200 speakers. I guess the soundbar will not with rear speakers. Maybe some one can help.

If you set the sound mode to SURROUND, GAME PRO, or ADAPTIVE, you will get surround sound effect from the rear speakers. In addition to adjusting the settings through the soundbar, you may want to try checking the sound format on your TV to ensure you are getting the best experience for a surround sound setup. If your Digital Output Audio Format is set to PCM then you will likely notice decreased performance with surround sound audio systems. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 3.1.2 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers. On a Samsung TV this setting can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.) Please also be sure you are using an HDMI cable for the connection between the TV and your HW-Q600C Soundbar for the best audio experience and support for a wider range of surround sound formats. My main need was to get home theatre feeling, but it's not as per my satisfaction. Dolby atmos is not great, and sub woofer is very low. Tried with soundbar app various settings too. It may be good on samsung tv, but I do not have it.

Here is the step-by-step guide for your reference: 1) With the Soundbar and TV turned on, connect the HDMI cable (not supplied). 2) “TV ARC” appears in the display window of the Soundbar main unit and the Soundbar plays TV Sound. a. If TV sound is inaudible, press the (Source) button on the remote control or on the right side of the Soundbar to switch to “D.IN” mode. The screen displays “D.IN” and “TV ARC” in sequence, and the TV sound is played. b. If “TV ARC” does not appear in the display window of the Soundbar main unit, confirm that the cable is connected to the correct port. c. I hooked the Samsung soundbar to a non-Samsung TV and it was OKAY. I swapped it with another brand soundbar on our Samsung TV and it's GREAT. The Q-Symphony really does make a difference in sound and ease of setup to find that sweet spot on your audio. The sub is smaller than my other brand sub but sounds better.

Occasionally there is a handshake that occurs mid stream. Not sure why. But that is not uncommon with AV equipment. If it remains durable, I will be very happy with the item for its life.

When the Soundbar is connected to the Internet, Auto Update allows software to update automatically even when the Soundbar is turned off. You can also update by using the SmartThings app. If not connected to the internet, you can download it onto a USB device, and then upload it to your soundbar - no wireless connection required. Connect the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar. 1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper left corner. 2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model 2. Download the firmware file (USB type). 3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name. 4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar. 5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. This will take around 6 minutes. - During update, do not turn it off or remove the USB. - If “UPDATE” does not appear on the display window, remove the power cord from the Soundbar and then reconnect it. - When the latest version is installed, no update is performed. - Depending on the USB type, update may not be supported. 6. The bass has always been terrible. I feel like the subwoofer only makes the smallest of sounds even with it turned all the way up. I have tried everything to fix this but since day one it’s been a disappointment. The settings are impossibly hard to use if you don’t have a Samsung tv.

To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, press the TONE CONTROL button and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons. Here are some tips to manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD. To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, press the TONE CONTROL button and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons. Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.) Press the CH LEVEL button so you can adjust the volume of each speaker. CENTER LEVEL or TOP LEVEL can be adjusted using the UP/DOWN buttons from -6 to +6. With the optional SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit connected you can adjust the volume by using the provided Soundbar remote. Press CH LEVEL and select REAR LEVEL, then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Other than some situations of audio being out of sync during live TV broadcast, it's a good product. Operation manual for download is NOT a good thing! A condensed version with the product would be best!

Sound cuts in and out randomly for short periods. Hdmi cable replaced twice to use with E-arc but issue is still unresolved. Below average sound for the price, still sounds better than the TV speakers.

In addition to checking the connections of the soundbar, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware Version. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update your firmware by using a USB device. You may also want to initialize your soundbar by pressing the - and + (volume) buttons on the top of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar back to default; any sound adjustments will need to be performed again. Should you continue to experience audio dropouts, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience. I hope these tips help resolve your issues.
