While the z flip 3 and all the other folding in general are rising up in the market, samsung knows how to please there customers with there products. At first I was skeptical on getting it as I already had an s21 ultra but I wanted to try something different, something actually different when using it. Using it for answering and ending phone calls is the best feature as well as flex mode when reading or typing up stuff using a Bluetooth keyboard I have. If your in need of an upgrade from your current phone this phone is the way to go if you wanna "flex" your way onto the competition thanks!

The phone is easy to use and fits comfortably in my pocket! It’s great in my workout pants while running and i love taking selfies while on the fold. Storing files is easy, and the charge is long lasting. The accessories are affordable and there are a lot of cool cases!

I LOVE this phone!!!!! I missed my Nokia flip phone, which I still have, but out dated. I was SOOOOO excited when I saw this one!!! I have dropped it OPEN and CLOSED, on CARPET and on CEMENT, and it STILL works like the day I got it!!!! It is compact, I'm not carrying a TABLET for a phone. The build quality is phenomenal, and it is extremely durable. Having a folding phone has been something I've wanted for a couple years now. This phone has exceeded my expectations. I love being able to fold it closed and put it in a pocket, and have it actually fit well. The screen is gorgeous and very responsive being 120hz, the battery lasts all day with my moderate to heavy use and continues to impress me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having Notes from the first version, I was disappointed about not having a 21. I decided to get the flip and so far I love it. The screen is slightly smaller than the Note, but I have found that to not be much of an issue. I like that it fits in my pocket so much better, and I can easily drop in my cup holder when in the car. So far, the only drawbacks are lack of expandable storage, and a battery with a lot less life than the Note. I use cloud storage heavily so the expandable storage thing is not a hug issue. If you are a heavy user with no available power outlets during the day you might want a portable charger, or just go with the fold.

Millions of us loved the flip phones of yesteryear. This third iteration is almost spot on. The screen and colors are so vibrant not washed out like the Note 20 ultra. For such an expensive device one expected all the bells and whistles. Like pen capabilities, top notch camera, expandable storage, longer battery life and Dex capabilities. That being said the build quality seems to be very robust. Doesnt seem plasticky or flimsy in the hand. Sammy is like the Wright brothers they have to innovate, take risks to push the envelope toward the future. As an incentive they offered a hefty trade in which made it worth your while. One will flip over it.

The 120hz refresh rate is amazing and definitely a noticeable change from my iPhone. The hinge feels very crisp and well engineered. Honestly, everything is great except for one minor downfall...the battery life. Due to the size of the phone, the battery life was expected. Even though it has a small battery, it will last all day (8-12 hrs) as long as you don't constantly use it or have the screen on. If you are one that uses a lot of screen time, make sure to keep a charger or power bank handy. Again, awesome phone, don't let the battery life steer you away!

Beautiful screen, inside and out.
If been wanting to go back to a flip phone since starting new job.
The external screen is awesome!
You can check your messages, weather conditions, control music, and even set a quick timer (which is great for us cooks) and yes the external screen is touch activated.
The main screen is beautiful and vivid.
Getting used to opening and closing the screen will take time. It feels alien right now.
Coming from an S20 Fe 5g. I appreciate the screen size. Time will tell how well the hinge holds up.
The only downfall is THERE IS NO DEX SUPPORT.
Hopefully Samsung will include in future updates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this phone for about a week and truly love having it. My Samsung S20+ had a cracked screen and I needed to replace it. I had no intentions of getting a flip phone - too old school! but the Samsung rep assured me that I could return it if I didn't like it - 100% refund, no questions asked.
The main thing that I like is the size - a much smaller from factor in my pocket but when I flip it open, it's the SAME 6.4" display that I had on my S20+!
The only downside - the battery does not last as long as my S20+ (I'm losing about 1.5 hrs in a day) BUT it's well worth the trade-off, given the smaller form factor.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited for the Flip3 as soon as it was announced. After I received it I have enjoyed it so much. While the variety of widgets is a little small, the small external display is really neat and simple.
The size is great too. Folded up it fits in pockets most normal phones struggle with, even with the extra thickness. The camera is amazing and extra functionality when partially folded is fun to play with.
The biggest problem I have, albeit still a small gripe, is how easy the screen gets dust and whatnot when in your pocket. Other than that, I would recommend this to anyone with the money to spare on a current flagship phone.

I debated waiting a bit and simply getting the new iPhone that was scheduled to come out but man..... am I glad that I didn't wait for that, this phone is everything that I wanted and more - crazy speed for processing during heavy multitasking, I've used it as a laptop, as a tablet, as a phone, and the possibilities are endless. The 120hz refresh rate is great and feels extremely smooth compared to the 90hz that I had on the oneplus. It includes almost every feature that it's big brother, the fold, has and performs great during heavy pressure. 10/10 - thus will be hard to top in the future.

Wife and I purchased these about 9 months ago. We've very much enjoyed the phones themselves. About a month ago like all the other reviews state our factory installed screen protectors began to crack and come off in the middle where the crease is. It's gotten to the point that it's interfering with touch controls. NOBODY that I've called locally including our carrier will replace it. I've tried calling samsung twice now and each time after the initial prompts I get put on hold with no music or queue times. Love the phone but due to the screen protector issues and lack of service both 3rd party and with samsung themselves so far I wouldn't buy one again.

I no longer fear my phone slipping out of my pocket when biking or jogging, and it is always fun to show it off to peers. Surprisingly, it has had no scratches or signs of damage, regardless of me dropping it (without a case) a few times. Although the battery may sometimes it's weakpoint, it typically lasts me most of the day. Best of all, it carries most of the same hardware as modern flagships!The only thing I miss is the headphone jack, but I can see why it's missing in this phone.

I wish the screen didn't get so dirty, had better battery life, came with a charging block and cord, and longer screen durability. The little money I have, I expect a good bang for my buck, not something that won't last over a year. It's very expensive and doesn't come with much. Most orders should come with a free charging block. Y'all used to be THE BEST. Do BETTER. I've been with y'all since I was allowed to own a phone in 2008 and have not changed brands, but with the design, manufacturing flaws that are so seemingly rampant, I've heavily considered moving on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the flip for almost a month. i do love the features, but the one thing that bugs me is the smooth surface makes it quite slippery at times. Either the finish should be a brushed metal or a nice leather wrap would be nice. I have not seen aftermarket cases as it would be difficult without compromising the Z Flip feature. I do love the compactness as I do not have my face glued to the screen as most folks do; it's tucked away until I really need it. The features while closed are also useful. I would have liked to see the pen options incorporated similar to the Z Fold version to use as a general OCR note taking device.

Tough call, I'll say yes if it is foldable they want. My Galaxy S8 was a great phone. But it didn't fold lol....

One thing to keep in mind is if you're a heavy user, battery life isn't as long when compared to something like an S20 Ultra 5G (note that the Z Flip3 batteries are smaller capacity). Really liking the fold form factor, makes it easier to fit in my pocket. I do miss the microSD card and headphone jack, especially if you plan on taking a ton of high-res pics and/or like having local music files to listen to when on the go. Other than that, I think Samsung has a winning formula with the Z Flip line and its succeeding versions. It can only get better from here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I traded in a very good Samsung A51 5G that had amazing camera resolution but was too big a phone for me. I was surprised at the quality of the pics from the Z Flip considering the lower MP of the cameras. Open, the Z Flip has the same screen size as A51 and is therefore just as versatile to use. I got the version with more storage because I have a lot of apps and photos. One note, the case is very slippery, so a protective case is a must. It's a more convenient phone to have when carrying it on a run. The screen is the brightest that I have ever had on a phone and that makes outdoor use possible. The phone seems to get great reception even in remote locations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flip is a gimmick or a novelty, but it's worth it. The Z Flip 3 brings nice specs and a great price with what feels like super futuristic technology in the ability to flip it closed. It of course plays on nostalgia for most and fomo for some, but I feel that adds to the value of the device. Flex Mode is lacking, but the apps it does work for use it well. Multitasking on the top and bottom halves is actually practical as well. The ultra wide angle and selfie lens are pretty grainy, but the main camera is solid. Another caution is getting a case on and off. Might wanna leave one on just to avoid pushing on the screen. It's not paper but it's definitely dainty.

Haven't had a Samsung since the Galaxy S3, I've been a Nexus/Pixel user since then (with pit stops at LG and OnePlus), but the clamshell design and the flagship specs brought me back to Samsung. The phone is fast and responsive and feels premium all around. The only downsides are the battery life (not great, but I've gotten used to wireless charging throughout the day) and the camera (coming from a recent Pixel phone, this is unsurprising). The One UI is massively improved from the old TouchWiz, and it preserves the character of Android while adding useful features. I really like this phone.

I love the phone itself but the fact that it folds up to the size of the palm of my hand without sacrificing screen size is remarkable. Too, when the phone is folded in half, I can answer incoming calls without having to open my phone. And the small screen on the outside of the phone displays alerts so that I can check them without having to open the phone. One more thing about the flip, no more having to have a stand or holder to shoot pictures or videos, selfies or otherwise as long as there is a flat surface to place it on. Love the phone.

For those of us struggling with small print the ability to view most everything on the big screen is a huge bonus..especially when on the go. I never used any of my previous phones for movies due to the screen size but now I watch on a fairly regular basis. The weight of the phone is comparable to my other phones so no issue there. The only complaint I really have is the camera is not nearly as capable as my previous cameras. A lot of people think that the crease in the screen will be an issue but when they see it their pleasantly surprised that it's not that noticeable and unnoticeable when watching videos.

It's price is now similar to those of the flagship phones of most phone manufacturers, however, the Z Flip3 is special. I am very happy with the features this phone has. Being able to fold my phone into a stand to take a picture, is amazing. I love how selfies can be taken with maximum quality, because I can use the rear cameras on my phone by folding it, and using the second display on the back. I love how conveniently I can control my music, and my alarms on the second screen. It is truly worth it's price, and is not as simple as a "feature phone". It's a Galaxy Z Flip3, and it's a force to be reckoned with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a couple weeks now and I'm really enjoying it. The build quality is great and it is very fast with a beautiful screen. One of the best parts is that when open it feels like a normal phone. It's not flimsy or loose at all. So around the house that's how I often leave it. But when I'm ready to go out, I can fold it to throw in my pocket.
Also at the gym I can carry it easily and use the outside screen to control my music and seldom have to open it.
The only negative is that the battery life is just average but I have wired and wireless chargers all over the place anyway so it isn't much of an issue.

I thought the 3's features were much more enticing than its predecessors and it seemed its fold of the screen had gotten better as well as the battery. Once I got the phone I found that was true. I do wish the battery was as large as the S21 but the battery size still gets me through most of the day. My only major complaint is that the charger the phone came with doesn't have a tight fit and doesn't keep its connection, but that's not even about the phone. I love this phone and I don't miss my old one at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about a month, and I really love it. The screen feels really smooth to use, and I really like the pocketable design. The cover was screen is great for quickly looking at notifications or controlling music when I'm busy. Always strayed away from taller phones because it can be a pain to have something so big in your pocket, but the fold makes it liveable. I have a few qualms though: battery life is a bit low, selfie camera could be better quality (excusable somewhat by how you can use the back cameras for selfies), and lastly a telephoto lense would have been really nice, and made it near perfect.

Been an Apple user since iPhone 7 with their upgrade program but Apple had been disappointing me every year when I upgrade to their new phone. Top notch is still there, no innovations except cameras sticking out since iPhone X. Looking at the rendering of iPhone13 assured me to go for Samsung, and I'm loving it so far. I just gave 4 stars though because of two issues: overheating and battery life. However, I'm loving the much more affordable price this year and the 120hz refresh rate. I'm glad I got out of Apple Ecosystem before it's too late.

Already returning this phone. I have waited months for this and was disappointed. I love the foldable feature. The design...everything I wanted. Except the battery life. Battery life was bad..charge 3xs in a day bad. Moderate use, I did have my watch connected. But my s21+ can go a day and then some on 1 charge. I know the batteries are smaller. I think if Samsung can figure out a way to get the battery life up to pay with the s21 models and going forward, it would be perfect. If you can deal with the phone needing to be charged more than once a day, the phone is beautiful. I just couldn't give up my s21+ for it.

Like many of the other reviews I so badly wanted to love this phone. The battery life is absolutely horrible so make sure you have plenty of chargers laying around and in vehicles. Second my phone is about 3 months old and where it folds even with the liquid glass is cracking in the middle. The biggest negative of all.... it's been 3 months since purchase and when you close the phone it completely shuts off and has to be hard reset to turn on.
Now two positive: many people have not seen a phone like this so it is a very eye catching electronic. Second, the Android platform works well. Other than that I unfortunately don't have much positive things to say about the phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only do you get the satisfaction of flipping your phone opened and closed there is also a large new handful of things that old flip phones couldn't do AND current slab phones can't do.
For example I can turn on the flashlight and half fold the phone to set it down and aim the light at the spot that I'm working. I can take selfies while it's closed. I can do a Skype, Zoom or Duo call with the phone sitting on my desk, half folded to aim the camera at me.
No more awkward propping your phone places. Other than the great fold features, it's a blazing fast Galaxy phone able to play all current Gen games and run TONS of tabs in the background.
Seriously adore this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the z flip 3 phone about a year ago. It's a really cool phone and I love the fact I can fit it in my pocket. The split screen is real handy when multi tasking. I like how it will stay up when slightly folded while watching videos or movies but after having it for three months it started to get an air bubble in the screen where it folds. I have contacted Samsung about it and they made it impossible for me to get it fixed while under warranty. The air bubble now goes all the way across the screen in the fold. The phone works great and I love it if only the screen didn't have the air bubble. If Samsung fixes the problem in the fold this would be the most amazing phone ever.

I am on my 3rd phone, my friend is on his 4th, my co-worker is on her 3rd and my niece is on her 2nd. (That's 12 Phones just from people I know!) All of us have experienced the screen coming apart in the middle or the screens just blacking out. These phones arent misused or dropped. Most are stuck paying high deductibles on their phone plans to fix the issue. Cant we just say this is not the greatest quality phone yet, and Samsung needs to get back to the drawing board and correct this? Great concept but very poor quality. We all dont have thousands to shell out on a phone that simply keeps failing....

I love that you can read your text messages and even answer your phone while it's folded via the mini screen. The sound of the phone is really loud which I enjoy when listening to music. When taking pictures the look as though they were professionally taken, you can see even the smallest little details, and it gives you the option to blur the background of the photo which really makes what your taking a picture of really pop! I would recommend this phone to everyone, best phone that I have owned yet!

Honestly the fact that it folds into such a convenient portable size was the selling point for me, the camera is amazing and I have had zero problems with battery life! When close the cover screen is big enough that you don't have to struggle to select your apps, you can customize it, manage your music app, read your text message and notifications as well as answering calls without having to flip the phone open. But the best part might be what I missed most about flip phones the ability to end a call by folding the phone!

I do love how when I have it folded and how it feels in my pocket. It reminds me of my wallet in my pocket. The phone itself is great. I don't mind the crease in the center because when you have it on it seems to disappear so I just don't notice it. I do. Have to say the battery life is not to good. I tend to have to charge it at least 2 times after starting my day. I use to have the S20 and the camera on that is way better on this. I made due because I love the flip.

My husband doesn't do much with his besides calling and texting, but I do A LOT of things with my phone.
I love how easily it fits in my pocket which makes it easier to keep track of. I also love the great pictures it takes.
My only complaint with this phone would be the battery life which doesn't really seem to be very long. But considering, it being a foldable, there's not much room for a larger one.
Maybe on their future models they will figure out how to put more charge in a smaller battery, you never know.

I bought this phone 6 months ago. Went out of the country and the fold crease started to crack. The next day, the lower half of the screen blacked out. Could'nt access anything in the phone. My vaccine card photo was in the phone. COuldn't get back into the US. My partner thankg GOD!! had a copy of my card in his phone so I could finally catch a flight. Assurant told me to process through Tmobile or Samsung. They said it was my fault. So I had to pay out of pocket for a replacement. Lost all of my vacation photos/videos. All of my memories lost!! I have had a samsung phone since about 2011. I loved their products. I hate iphones, but I'm switching and telling everyone I know to stay away!!

The design and the color are fantastic
The front screen is big and multi functional. I can use it to take pictures and switch from normal to wide angel with a swipe.
I can see also my calendar. Samsung fitness and another apps .
Also love the way I can through the front screen to lunch samsung pay ... that's thing is way better than the flip 2 that I had.
The cameras are also a great upgrade
Also with my order I got 12 months of free samaung care .

I have the series 3 and although the battery on series 3 wasn’t good, yet the series 4 is so much better. Battery lasts me all day, I was worried about the hinge becoming loose. However it has not at all is still very strong. The camera is very clear a little dark for my preference but it’s all about lighting as well. I went with the rose gold color and I’m glad I did because cases look stunning on the phone. Overall it is a great phone and a great experience not much people go for the flip phone. I recommend it for the experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the original Flip, then switched to the Fold, and now back to the Flip 3. The Fold is a great phone, but a little too big for what I wanted to carry around on a daily basis. And I really missed the original Flip. So back to the Flip 3 and they improved on the original in every way. The front screen is now very useful, the case is not slippery, and the build quality is great. And the size... this is the killer feature. Smaller than a deck of cards but flip it open to rival the size of any iPhone. Only issue I've had is it can sometimes run hot, but quitting apps seems to help with this.

Not terrific, but not terrible, given the size. Seems to last about as long as my prior Samsung devices. Screen is serviceable, no 120 Hz but wasn't expecting it. Camera is again fine (noticing a theme), nothing to write home about, but again its the first generation of relatively new tech. Outer screen is exactly what everyone else pointed out. Useless, save for checking time, battery life, music player, and maybe caller ID. Does get a bit warm at times.

I was happy with this phone but after 7 months it's crapping out in me. The screen goes black when I open the phone and have to open a close several times to get it to stay on. I'm so grateful the sales person suggested that I purchase the insurance. Save your money never have I ever had a phone malfunction so soon.

I got mine as a Christmas gift. I already have a Note 10 Plus and was not interested in an upgrade. I kept the phone and used it for one day. It was and is a lot better than I thought. I thought that the novelty would wear off, but it hasn't. If I had to mention a negative it would be the battery life. I don't know if it's the fact that I've been using this more than my Note or the battery is just small, but I feel as if I need a charging brick with me everywhere I go now. There is a crease in the center of the phone, but the screen is so smooth, I never notice it or am bothered by it. I am impressed that this phone performs the way it does. It's longer than my Note, but narrower, if that makes sense.

After less than a year of normal daily usage, the screen has a deep crease, cracked, and bubbling up.
After a few months, the mini display screen stopped showing incoming call notifications when the phone was closed. It is not compatible with certain apps, as a result, my Instagram will no longer work on this phone. Or when I post to TikTok or Snapchat the videos come out horribly grainy
On top of that, none of the nearby service locations have any parts to fix the screen as more people are coming to fix their phones than Samsung is sending out parts. But even if I waited who knows how many months, probably until my warranty expires, and got the screen fixed the software issues would still persist.

First off, with the phone being foldable, I have noticed that the screen isuch better protected. I am prone to dropping my phone a lot and even so, my screen hasn't cracked and I don't even have and scratches. Also, the portability is amazing. Folding it and putting it in your pocket takes up less room than my wallet and I don't lose any screen space due to the folding feature. Great phone overall.

I have got to say this new generation nails the key aspects while increasing the value per dollar spent. The sleek form factor and exceptional color portfolio give this device a premium look and feel. Additionally it packs the latest processor chip and 8 gb of ram so daily tasks and gaming feel smooth. The added durability this year brings peace of mine with ipx8 certification and armor aluminum framing! My one down side would be battery like but with such a small form factor ots hard to put larger batteries in the casing.

I’ve had the phone for a week - form factor is perfect - I like being able to sit down with the phone in my pocket - I was concerned with the reviews regarding the battery - yesterday I started off with a 1+ hour zoom video call, followed by a couple of hours of listening to podcasts, by midnight the battery was down to 35% - that works for me. I typically charge at night as I use my phone as a bedside clock - so I’m pretty sure battery isn’t going to be a problem. Speaker is good as is the camera - now the only thing will be to see how the screen holds up with the folding.

When I first opened it I of coursed had to open and close it over and over again. I enjoy the compact size when it's in my pocket, and to he able to open up to a good size screen. It's fast and multi tasking is so easy with this phone. The crease in the screen eventually disappeared after using it for awhile. The only real complaint I have is the battery life isn't as good as my S10 but I know they had to sacrifice the battery size to accommodate the flip design. Fun phone I'd recommend it overall.

It fits in ALLLLL my pockets - front back, bags, everything. A far cry from my humungous Note 10+ (which I also loved for 2 years - just not the size). The Z Flip3 works great. I have no issues with it. I do wish the battery life was better. But, it isn't a deal-breaker for me. I have the ability to charge it during the day if I need to. I have had my 256g Flip for almost 7 months now and I am not surprised at all.The phone performs exactly the way Samsung designed it to perform.I had major concerns about the screen when I first got it but the screen looks like it did the day I bought the phone.I bought an otterbox for it and dropped it three times and the ob saved my phone.I have had it an additional month without a case.Durable as it is supposed to be,sleek and nice to look at but most of all nice camera and video could maybe use a little improvement but overall I give my FLip 5 STARS.Nice job Samsung!

Screen groove was hardly noticable at first and has gotten worse over time. Certain apps dont fit the screen correctly and will cut off at the edges. Love the back screen beinf able to check notifications change songs and customize the background. The flip to hang up is a nice feature. Once you get used to using the phone it feels like a normal phone. Only other negative is always have to remembering to fold the phone before putting it in your pocket other than that its been a great phone.

Both devices were Samsung and as such the data transferred almost exactly the same I had to skip a few things considering the store was about to close and the transfer took about an hour and a half. Nonetheless I enjoy the flip action while reading, watching videos, taking phone calls, and the cover screen is also a plus. The only thing I could think of that it is lacking would be expandable storage, I couldn't use my 512Gb SD card which was a shame. As far as the camera goes it's just like an S21 would give you plus some extra features due to the fold action. All in all I give this device an 9/10!

Two days after I got my phone there is a small Crack on the side of the phone and a little bit on the screen protector already. There is also a small scratch on the back already. Everything else spec wise is amazing but I believe that if the build quality could be bumped up a little bit more to be more resistant to scratches and cracks then the flip phones could be a new norm instead of a gimmick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Z Flip 3 for about a month now - function wise I can’t tell it from my s21+ except it folds and fits easily into my pocket. I can sit down without having to take my phone out of my pocket. It is smaller than my wallet - so a comfortable fit. It is a bit narrower than my old phone seems to fit well into my hand and I really like the bio scanner on the side - seems to line up with my finger when I open the phone. I plug the phone in every night so no battery issues at all - use it pretty much from 0630 to midnight - lowest I have seen the battery after a busy day - was around 30%. If I don’t use it too much it usually ends the day at over 80%. I’m guessing I could go several days on standby if needed.

But switching to the flip made me change my mind in what I need from my smart phone. Whether I am using it folded, which the elongated screen is very easy to use one handed, or using it unfolded, which brings a delight to any media consumption. Whether for my daily needs, multitasking, media consumption or any thing else I find that I can't do what I can do with this phone on any other. And I don't think I can ever go back.

I have owned multiple Galaxy Notes in the past and do miss features like the SD card slot, 3.5mm jack, and the S-Pen, but I am willing to overlook some of those features because the phone folds in half.
The phone has worked wonderfully in the time I've had it, no complaints so far. I do worry about it being durable enough to last after the warranty is up. It was hard to give up the S-Pen but the phone would be perfect if it had an SD card slot to expand storage.

The android OS itself is so easy to use and a lot less cramped than iOS. The processing itself is a lot faster and has a decent camera compared to other phones. The portability and the fact that you can fold it is probably my favorite part next to the mini screen you can use to look at notifications and change your music. All in all I am in love with this phone and don't think I'll switch over to iPhone ever again

It has a better hinge than the previous z flip, like it doesn'tfeel loose. The screen it much smoother plus has an adaptive 120 hz than the previous 60 hz. The rear little LCD screen has more functionality and can be customized to your liking with wallpapers and gifs and to top all off has an adaptive battery to last you the entire day, even though it is the same battery as the previous z flip. The adaptive battery can sure mange you battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got my Z Flip3 and I have to say it exceeded all of my expectations. Having a smart flip phone is everything it's meant to be and more. Its got pretty much all the same features that I love from provious phone models and a few extra. I especially like the fact I can watch videos on YouTube or listen music on Spotify on one half the screen while folded and do other things on the other half of the screen. it's like a little mini laptop. It's awesome. The folding feature for hanging up and the convince of the smaller square phone in your pocket go a long way. I came from a Note 20 Ultra to the Z Flip3 and I think I found my new favorite series. I will even be getting the S Pen for the Fold series when that is available.

I have a million apps and if still runs great. The fold in the screen isn't causing issues or cracking. You just have to make sure to replace the screen protector every once in a while. The only rhubg I don't like is thete is no headphone jack. I think it should come with headphones and the full charger set with how much im paying for it. I think the front screen could habe more features. But overall I love this phone. I can't wait to upgrade to the z Flip 4

Don't buy this Beautiful and wonderful cell phone, because I bought it and it only lasted 3 months with its flip working, now in less than 3 hours my cell phone started to show some spots in the center of the screen where it folds and then it has 2 black stripes and half of the phone the touch-screen doesn't work! when i bought it i was afraid these screens wouldn't last long, but i didn't know it would be so fast, my cell phone is only 3 months old and it never fell to the floor! now i will send it to samsung and wait more than a week without cell phone..

I think the phone is cool, I have not been able to dive into the unique functions or apps that take advantage of the flip functions. Otherwise I do enjoy the compact size, the light weight. I also like the sound quality of the little phone and the ability to answer calls from cover screen while phone is closed. Last like is the fingerprint sensor on the side button. So far I dislike the battery life it feels like it consume battery quick, not sure I have made it a full day without charge. Last dislike for those that are used to a Note the smaller screen size may not be enjoyable. Overall I like the phone I just need to take more advantage of the flip functions.

I've had this phone just over a year and the screen got air pockets. So I had to return, during that process the screen would sometimes stop working. I had to return and got a new one from my phone company.
It's my opinion that the phone is cool but the constant opening and closing of phone can damage the screen. This phone wasn't made for hard use. Which is very disappointing because I paid so much money for it. For others it might be a cool phone but for others it has its faults. But it has good camera and take beautiful pictures. Battery life is okay.

I read the reviews for months now and decided to take the leap. I am not sorry by a long shot. It is convenient, easy to use and by far the best phone to customize. Take the battery out of the equation as you have to figure what features you want to select to keep your battery at a level you need. I cannot say enough good things about this phone, except the ear buds live made it easier to talk. My hope is Samsung will figure a way to enhance the battery life. Oh and I have to say watching YouTube has really helped me customize my flip. Thank you for that!

The front cover is also nice, although it should show the entire SMS messages and often you have to open the phone to see entire SMS. The cover screen would benefit my more widgets like GMail, Outlook, and other valuable applications the could reduce opening the screen. I expected the crease to be an issue but after a week I no longer noticed it. The battery has improved as well once I got to know the phone and control what ran in the background. I haven't had any durability issues with it but every time I fold it part of my brain still tels me I shouldnt do that and I half expect it to be broken. I imagine this just takes time to get used to so I can't fault the phone for that. Overall, I would gladly take a mediocre battery and the ability to fold my phone over the alternative. Now that I've experienced it I don't think I'll ever be able to go back. It's just so small and fits in pockets so easy!

I needed to replace the screen protector film that came off after less than one year of usage. Content display at the folding area was blurred and ugly as a result. Spent hundred dollar to have it replaced but the same issue happen again after less than a year usage. And now, there's a thin green line on the screen from the top to the bottom of the entire screen. Probably this phone is not built for users like me, or probably it's just low quality product from Samsung. I'm definitely turn off and will shun from any Samsung flip phone models in future.

The only reason I don't give a 5 is because the battery life is a tad subpar. Now that being said it is technically half the size of a normal smart phones battery so it's to be expected. It's charges pretty fast though so there isn't an issue. I highly recommend even trying this phone for the simple fact there is a reason it peeked your interest so I can assure you that you'll be satisfied, plus everyone will tell you how awesome your phone is!

I like that it folds up and fits in my purse a little smaller than previous phones. Will definitely keep up with this model of phone. I'm always on my phone to work and do other things. It was a little adjustment getting used to it, but now I'm catching on pretty quickly. Still a LOT more features to learn, but I love it!

saya beli produk ini 2,5thn lalu. mulai muncul greenline di tahun kedua dan di tahun ini (april 2025) blackscreen. mesin msh bisa di gunakan, speaker msh oke, tp lcd full ganyala. ke servive center ganti lcd dikenakan 4,9jt huhu. aku salah satu orang yg menggunakan barang elektronik dgn baik. aku jg pengguna samsung sejak tahun 2009 dan selau ganti hp setelah 5-6 tahun masa pemakaian, bahkan samsung A50s yg aku beli sekitar tahun 2019 hingga saat ini msh bisa digunakan. tapi, kali ini hanya 2thn saya harus ganti karna tdk bisa digunakan sama sekali. samsung tdk memberi kompensasi utk produk pertamanya ini, karna menurut aku ini seri uji coba produk mereka. semoga ada niat baik samsung utk para pengguna flip seri pertama ini, terimakasih

I have only had my new flip3 for a few weeks after having iphones for over 10 years. I LOVE being able to fit it in my pocket!!!! I don't love that the battery won't last a full day with moderate use. I very rarely had to charge my iphones before bedtime, but I have to plug in my flip3 every afternoon/evening while I still want to be using it. The camera is better than my XR so that is nice, but probably not better than the newer iphone PROs. I haven't had any issues with the screen yet, but reading other reviews I am weary...
I am having trouble connecting passwords from websites to apps, so hopefully there is a fix for that, since whenever you need to change a password you must go to the site to change it and log back into the app...

I bought this phone in November 2021. Bought it because it was nice, very cool and it folds so it's easy for me to put in my pocket. My friend was using it and he high recommended it. By the end of April I was already having trouble with it. The charging would sometime not work saying that the charger was compatible even though I was using the charger that came with the phone. Then at the end of May the phone just didn't work. The screen was messed up and then just blacked. The phone was on but because the screen won't turn on I couldn't use it.

I switch over have a flip 5g in my pocket as my main driver but never without either a Note or a S series, reason being is lack of camera quality and battery life.
For the past month I only been carrying the z flip 3 since purchased last month because I still have roughly 35% by bed time and that is always having the galaxy watch 3 classic tether to it. The camera is way superior to the z flip 5g so no need to carry addition S or Note series along.

Makes cracking/snapping sound when opening or shutting phone. Some things on screen are difficult to see. At times it is difficult to touch screen to select something because gap/crack gets in way. Very disappointed because I am told it will cost ME to fix, plus the repair center is over an hour away.. Also I have always traded my phones in extremely good condition, now I fear this one won't be considered good condition.

Everyone is wowed by the flip function and the sleek design. Coming from a Note 10+, the battery life is abysmal. I lose 10% charge per hour with normal use. Therefore, I have to charge my phone routinely, and it isn't a great travel companion sans battery pack. The phone is quite narrow but usable. I don't really use the flex mode all that much. In truth, the phone does everything well and noting exceptionally well. It's an engineering marvel and fashion statement. If you like being trend setter and standing out this phone is for you. However, power users should look elsewhere for a phone that will keep up with your high usage.

This phone is just fun to use and the novelty is very enjoyable to me. Battery life is good, 10% more than S9 and fits my needs. The front screen is useful and phone fits in the pocket however it's low in the pocket and not as easy to remove as full sized phone.
I know the screen isn't super durable but I don't foresee any scratches as I don't dig my fingernail across it. Overall I recommend the Flip and look forward to where the foldable phones are headed.

Flip 3 made me feel such "it" factor which I was yet to experience for years.
It's just so cute. Whenever I bring this phone out, make samsung/google pay to check out, fold it, play with it, I receive a lot of attention from people, just like back then when I made very first smartphone purchase as one of so called earlyadopters - back then people still used motorola, nokia and blackberry.

Flex mode provides ease during shots; no more having to hold your breath during night mode since it can prop itself up. The cover screen is so unique and very useful, I can check my notifications, weather, clock and plans less than 5 seconds -- it's simply the charm of the phone. The speed from the processor is absolutely amazing, my old S9 used to take long and much of my time when I clicked on a notification and waited for it to load. This phone is fast! I would recommend this phone if you want to have the flex factor -- something new that no other device has and someone who wants a sleek everyday phone.

So what better way to do that then to get myself the latest compact Z Flip 3!! Since the Z Flip 3 was doing an early release as well, I easily made the choice to grab myself one. I couldn't be happier with the Z Flip 3 and all of its feature rich design and capabilities to partner up with my Z Fold 3!! I'll never go back to a plain and simple phone as long as Samsung keeps making and improving on this style of foldable phone!! Absolutely Love It!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using my new Z Flip 3 last week. I owned the original Z Flip, so I was excited to upgrade to the newer model. This one feels a little more study in my hand. The screen is super clear and crisp. I find that the battery lasts longer than my previous one. The fact that this phone comes with a screen protector in place is a nice bonus and makes me less nervous about scratching it. The camera works well. The new, larger cover screen is great. I love being able to use some of the functions of the phone without having to open it.

I have checked out all the people crying about this phone but they didnt read all the reviews and their not very smart people.Mine stays charge for at least 24hours i turned the hertz down to 60. any way the phone has a hinge that takes up space for the battery and camera components. There you have it . When folded Samsung pay works better than any other phone i have ever owned. So you should know what your buying and gunna use it for. There are so many things you can do with the flip that other phones can't do. Great job Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that the folding aspect is useful for other things such as being able to put it in the table without a stand and using it to watch videos. However, I feel like Samsung still needs help in order for it to work properly with other third party apps. The camera is good but for the price I wish it had s21 ultra cam specs. Main camera is solid but the selfie cam leaves for room for improvement. Even with a budget Pixel 4a 5G's selfie cam is better. The overall build quality is solid though. That's where it shines greatly.

I purchased the newer version of the zflip after having had the 5g. I now have the zflip3 5g. Its not the best in terms of very poor battery performance . That is the biggest drawback. The second draw back is messaging notifications malfunctions. It seems to not notify me at all! At first the malfunction was constant random notifications of the system as if every five minutes or less there was a text when there isn't. I havent been able figure any of this out since. I would try a different device if I wasnt locked in. Thumbs down!

I love this phone, the flip feature is honestly so convenient for putting my phone anywhere and it sits very comfortably in my pocket. The main reason why I would not give it five stars is the battery is so genuinely poor while using the phone's features to it's fullest. I am consciously carrying a phone charger everywhere because the battery drops very fast. Even after going through every setting possible and optimizing the phone for battery life it still drains way too fast. A helpful feature would for the phone to be able to use the super fast charging to help compensate, however it does still allow fast charging. That's the only thing that is off-putting about this phone to me. I would still buy it again though and I do not regret my decision at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the first Flip so much that I had to get another when the Flip3 with the larger exterior screen was released. The phone seems much more durable than before, with features like the non-glass backing and a better hinge. This model is also water resistant, which is a relief. The crease in the screen has never bothered me. I would have liked an improved camera, but this camera still gets the job done. I would have also liked an improved battery, but I can understand it would be difficult to fit anymore inside a foldable phone.

Gone are the days of having a phone size that's become the norm, and not being able to fit it in your pocket. I get compliments and turned heads every time I pull it out in a group. It's performance and capabilities rival that of every other flagship smart phone today, with the exception of its charging capabilities.
Will most definitely be looking forward to future versions as they continue to build upon this awesome new technology they are at the forefront of !

I had my z flip for a week now and its an amazing phone and just what i wanted fits in my pocket better than my s20 plus and its a lot more comfy in the pocket without loosing screen size. the Z works great. I know the complaint is battery life is not what we're used to the folding feature takes away form battery space so just be ready to charge it. the critics will probley hate the cameras as well but mine is a phone first and the cameras do just fine for me . JUst change thinking and you will be ready for the Z Flip 3 .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Z Flip3 last month in August, and I must say the hinge is amazingly durable! I've slammed it shut so hard sometimes and it's still just as good as the day I purchased it. I did notice on the day I got it that when it's closed the top screen wiggles a bit. Not a big deal, but something I thought I should mention. I've also dropped it a couple of times with the Aramid Cover and there's no cracks or scratches whatsoever. It's super soft too. I am also super happy with One UI and I can't wait for Android 12! I think Samsung should give beta testing to their S series AND Z series as well though. Performance in gaming is super good too! with most games I get a solid 120fps and it's super fast too. Overall, I give it 5 stars, and it's great for the money!

I always loved a flip phone but this phone is amazing. It's folding glass! I touch the hardly noticeable crease and feel like I'm on, "Star Treck"! To top it off, it has all the things we love about Samsung; speed, easy use, cool features, great speakers, bright & clear display, Samsung perks.........& it's a beautiful phone that Folds Glass! The battery really isn't a problem but if you are worried there are plenty of types of battery packs and car chargers. Not much excites me at my age but this phone does, it's amazing!

After years of prodding from my husband to “upgrade” from IPhone to Samsung I finally gave in. I went with the flip phone but after 1 day gave it back. Biggest issue - it’s too long and top heavy and too hard to hold while texting. Not user friendly as promised. My husband has had Galaxies forever and couldn’t figure out how to use it. I don’t have time to learn an entire new device so with that and the shape I traded it in for an IPhone 13 Pro. Honestly this one is too square and heavy but I don’t seem to have a choice.
