How to edit videos (like a pro) on the Galaxy Note10

Make the most of the new video editing features on your Galaxy Note10. You can use all the existing features, like trimming, filtering, beauty effect and background music plus some added features that let you adjust the speed, combine clips and use your S Pen to write and draw on your videos.

To combine several individual clips into one video, follow the steps below.

1 Slide up on the home screen to access your apps.
2 Tap “Gallery”.
3 Tap the Create movie icon and select the movie clips that you would like to combine. Then, tap “Create movie”. When prompted, tap “Edit yourself”.

4 To rearrange the order of the clips, tap and hold the clip and drag it to the new location.
5 To add another clip, tap "Add".

6 To edit, tap the clip then tap the Edit icon. Then, use the editing toolbar to trim, add a filter, apply beauty effect, add a title, draw, edit the play speed and adjust the video sound.

7 To delete a clip, select the clip, then tap the delete icon.

If you have combined two or more video clips, you can add an effect to smooth the transition between each clip.

1 Slide up on the home screen to access your apps.
2 Tap “Gallery”.
3 Tap the Create movie icon, select two or more videos, tap "Create movie", then tap "Edit yourself".

4 Tap the small square between two clips, then select your preferred transition effect. You can choose from None, Dissolve, Slide or Fade.

1 Slide up on the home screen to access your apps.
2 Tap “Gallery”.
3 Select the video.
4 Tap the Edit icon.

5 Tap “Add”, then tap the Return arrow icon.

Please note: Despite tapping "Add", you will not add a new video. This step is required in order to allow for the correct menu to become available.

7 Type in the title and subtitle, then tap “Done”.

3 Select a video.
4 Tap the Edit icon.

5 Tap the Draw icon.

6 Use the S Pen to draw on the video, then tap “Save”. If you would like to record your edits as part of the video too, tap “Live”.

Adjust the speed of your video to watch in slow motion or fast forward.

1 Slide up on the home screen to access your apps.
2 Tap “Gallery”.
3 Select the video.
4 Tap the Edit icon.

6 Slide the bar to the left to slow down the video speed or to the right to speed up the video speed.
