                  Had the phone for a week and a bit and am loving the form factor. The battery life is really good and the way the inner screen almost snaps open feels really satisfying. The displays are beautiful and I put the anti reflective coating on the outer one and it looks really good even in direct sunlight. Overall great so far. It is expensive and that's the only gripe I could have other than the camera causing it to wobble when laid flat.

                  Overall, I’m very happy with this phone. The large inner screen feels almost like a small tablet, which makes reading, browsing the web, checking messages and multitasking much more comfortable than on a regular phone. The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. Apart from that, the phone is excellent and the big screen experience is really impressive.

                  I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

                  It's been little over a week since I received Z fold 8 and I have been really impressed with it. The design feels slimmer and more refined, while still giving you the convenience of a phone that opens into a much larger screen. The large inner display is excellent for watching videos, browsing the web, multitasking, and using multiple apps at the same time. The outer screen is also much more comfortable to use for everyday tasks. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive upgrade and feels very premium. This is one of the best foldable phones and mini-tablet in one device, it is very expensive but totally worth it.

                  The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

                  I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

                  Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

                  After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

                  I truly love this phone. The front display is a great size where I can use for all apps and more. The middle display is simply fantastic 👌 and I love the way the hinge snaps giving it a really high quality feel. The battery last for two days which is incredible and the whole devise feel so durable and well made. I have a three year contract and feel totally confident this device will last. The operating system is perfect and has amazing responsiveness. It truly is a joy to own and use. Love the large screen when I'm searching online and the front is great for everyday use. Having that extra screen real estate means significantly less scrolling whether I'm browsing, reading, or multitasking, and media consumption feels far more immersive. ​It feels ridiculously lightweight in hand and fits in my pocket effortlessly, yet unfolding it gives you a stunning, tablet-like display that’s genuinely useful.                   I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

                  Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

                  Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

                  I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

                  I love the size coming from a S24 Ultra, this is just what I wanted smaller and can open to a bigger size. I do have concerns about the hinge. Not that it is not durable just that it's not small particle safe. So I do have a S22 for going to the beach but it would be nice to get a hinge that can keep all the small debris out. Having said the negative I'll go back the phone. The screens, the outside one is fine it lets me do what I need to and very little limitations. The inside one is fantastic and super bright for media consumption. The Cameras are good not S26 ultra but good enough to get good shots when needed.the battery last most days all day.I can't say enough about the overall size it is amazing open and closed. Over all this is a 4.5/5 for me.

                  I’m really impressed with my new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The design feels premium, and the large foldable display makes multitasking, watching videos, browsing, and getting things done so much more enjoyable. The performance is smooth and responsive, and the cameras take excellent photos with great detail and colour. I also love how versatile it is—when I need a compact phone it folds down easily, and when I want a bigger screen it opens up into a mini tablet. Overall, it feels like a big step forward in foldable technology and has quickly become one of my favourite devices.

                  I'm extremely happy with my decision to get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The new form factor is incredibly easy to pocket and super convenient for browsing and typing, I've found myself making significantly less typos on this than any other phone I've had in the last few years. When unfolded, the phone becomes a great YouTube and Netflix watching device and I've even found some older games I used to regularly play on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 run and look better then they did on phones with the now typical tall form factor. All in all, this is a great device and I'm glad Samsung took the risk of making a folding phone in the "passport" form factor. Here's hoping this becomes the new normal Fold moving forward.

                  I've had most phone styles and recently changed from the flip7 as I got sick of having to flip it open to use it. The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

                  It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

                  I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

                  I had a fold 5. Love the fold 8 (wide) . It fits comfortably in my hand. Much easier to type and the videos are easier to watch. The battery last considerably longer than the fold 5 but then again it was 3 years old. Screen is bright and clear. Only slightly disappointed with the camera and no pen suppirt.

                  This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

                  I love the phone, the size of the phone, I have had the z fold from the 1st gen to the z fold 7 but changing to the z fold 8 it's a game changer, thank you Samsung for this.                   The best phone format I’ve ever tried. I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but they are bulky and clumsy. The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

                  I absolutely love the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The biggest highlight for me is the form factor — having a normal phone that can instantly unfold into a mini tablet is incredibly useful. It gives you the convenience of a phone when you’re on the go, but whenever you need more screen space for browsing, reading, videos or multitasking, you can simply open it up. The design also feels very refined. Samsung has done a great job making a foldable device feel polished and practical rather than just a cool piece of technology. It’s a genuinely great everyday device and probably my favourite Fold so far.

                  I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did. The battery life is incredible and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use. I am especially impressed by the screen's brightness, which makes it perfectly clear to read even outside under direct sunlight.The build quality feels premium, giving me complete confidence in its long-term durability. Additionally, the hinge mechanism is exceptionally smooth yet sturdy enough to hold its position perfectly. Finally, the overall responsiveness of the interface is lightning-fast with zero lag when switching between apps. Highly recommended!

                  I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

                  The crease is alot less noticeable compared to any foldable I have held. The hinge is smooth and firm enough that you need a bit of force to open or close the phone which is good becuase you dont want a floppy phone. It feels very strong as in durable, i wouldn't personally test dropping the phone but im confident it can survive decent heights. The battery lasts me all day and charges very fast, faster than the fold 7. The inner and outer screens are both great, i primarily use the inner screen and I'm well pleased with it. The phone is very responsive when it comes to any task.

                  love it, love it, love it :-) Switched from a z flip 5 to the fold 8 ... def no lookin back, I also have a iphone 17 pro (from work ). But my fold beats this heads down. The display totally rocks and the reponsiveness it brilliant. I love the dimensions / form so cool. This hinge is so much nicer too. Will wait to see battery and durability with timem but I'm not worried.

                  I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

                  I have been using the Z Fold 8 for a week, I have come from having the Z Foldv7 and I absolutely love the form factor, hands more manageable than the Z Fold 7. Look the cameras could be better, but it's not like I'm a professional photographer either! IP rating could be better but again I've never really exposed any of my previous founds to the elements, like sand for example. I don't think I'd ever go back to slab style phone ever again, or in particular a Z Fold 7/8 Ultra form factor!! Z Fold just fits, it's perfect!! Well done Samsung i think you finally got it right!!

                  Coming from the Pixel foldables, I'm enjoying the light weight, thinness and compactness of the Z Fold8. Unfortunately you do have to deal with the multiple versions of the same apps and Samsung's take on them. For example you need to use the Samsung clock app to use the sleep schedule as a condition for Routines, even if the Google clock app has the same sleep schedule. The friction between the two worlds is not the best for the end user, battling to turn off Samsung Wallet quick access gestures and settings up Google Wallet instead as another example. There's also lots of useful settings not enabled by default, and a tonne of non useful stuff which is battling for attention. The hardware however speaks for itself and it sparks genuine joy to use.

                  My first fold. Unbelievable device. New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

                  Despite my significate other having reservations, when she saw a photo on the inner display she was instantly in love. The inner display is perfect for photo's, videos, gaming and multitasking, while having a great outer display for quick uses like phone functionality and messaging. Keeping in mind the high price tag it is toatally worth it if you have the money to spend, best phone I have had in years and the first one that changes the way I use a smartphone.

You don't feel a big presence when it's in your pocket, and holding it in hand for a long time is no longer a painful thing. Basically a powerful ultra thing and light tablet. The only regrets is that there's no telescope camera.

                  Although it is missing the on-screen biometric, it's still efficient on the power button. The camera is quite decent compared to my old phone, the S24 Ultra. The Pistachio colour is great; however, it is somehow hidden by the grey silicone back cover - I expected Samsung to supply a clear option. Both speakers are on one side of the phone, although not a big deal - a recommendation to improve in the next version.

                  Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

When closed, that square screen shows off your social media like Polaroid pictures - this is how they were meant to be viewed.                   I was skeptical to begin with as to the new shape having owned a z fold 5 for a couple of years. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

                  The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

Once set up, which is a breeze, both screens are extremely responsive. The longevity of the battery is looking excellent. I have had Samsung phones for many years, but this is most definitely my favorite. In short, if anyone is thinking about taking the plunge with this phone, I can only advise you to do so immediately; you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic phone.                   My first foldable phone, and the battery life was one of my main concerns before receiving it. However, it has been surprisingly good and lasts just as long as a traditional flagship phone. The form factor is unique and exciting, and the larger inner display is fantastic for consuming content, especially older content in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I’m also a big reader, particularly of comic books, and honestly, the larger screen alone makes this phone worth it for me. It’s also much more stable and comfortable to use when unfolded than I expected, with the hinge making the phone feel surprisingly sturdy and durable. Overall a great phone if your looking to consume alot of media on the go without the need for multiple devices.

                  The phone itself is great love being able to change screens when using it and display is very good the fold hinge is very secure and can't see a crease in the screen the battery is ok don't last as long as my flip 6 did overall the phone is very responsive and smooth to use and haven't found using my apps any different And just don't by the case cover from Samsung on brand as it only covers the back of the phone and comes with front screen protection but no cover I have already dropped it and the durability of the metal phone cover is good so Samsung if your really listening can the Samsung galaxy z fold 8 case cover come with a front cover too please for full phone protection 4 stars as phone cover is rubbish for price

                  I have been a Samsung loyalist for over 15 years, and every year I have upgraded my phone. My favourite Samsung phone was the last Note (still have it, its iconic) but I have loved the folds since they starting coming out. Since I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. Its notsaglic in a way cos its like passport size (back to when phones fitted within the palm of your hand) but yet when you open it up takes everything to another level. The look, the design , the features and performance is all A+++++++. I do wish they would bring back the micro SD card

                  I absolutely love this phone! The shape is better for fitting in my pocket - it's a phone, a mini tablet and a tablet! I actually prefer the folded notebook shape over a conventional phone and when unfolded it is excellent for working on a document or spreadsheet and streaming video. It is early days, but there is no visible fold in the screen even when you hold the glossy surface up to the light. Well done Samsung!

                  Been using the Fold 8 for a bit now and honestly really happy with it. First thing I noticed was the design — it's slimmer than I thought it'd be and feels really nice in the hand, doesn't feel bulky like some foldables. The hinge is solid too, no weird gaps or wobbling. Performance has been great overall, no complaints. Everything runs smooth, switching between apps is fast, and it handles multitasking really well. Battery lasts me the whole day without needing to top up.

                  I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed. The bigger inner screen is great for multitasking, reading and watching videos, while the phone still feels surprisingly comfortable to use when folded. Performance is smooth, the cameras are solid, and the battery easily gets me through a normal day. It’s definitely expensive, but if you want a phone that can replace a phone and small tablet, the Fold 8 is one of the best options out there. The main downside is that it’s still a little bulky when folded.

                  They did a pretty good job at hiding the seem in the fold, screens good, sounds alright. personally dont reslly get it, it seems to be a less useful phone thats also less durable

                  Limited amount of colours and hate the fact that it leaves a crease after a while if you use it, furthermore I feel like you still have previous issues of the screen falling apart from the hinge

                  Excellent design, having a bigger front screen is great. Easy to hold for a big guy like me. It's very responsive and good on the eyes.

                  At first I wasn't too sure if I liked the phone, just went from a fold 5 to the fold 8. But it has been great so far, it takes a couple of days to get used to it. I use the front screen more on this version compared to my fold 5 since it has a better aspect ratio to go through insta and Facebook, but it also goes well for movies. It also has great battery life. Some things I would fix is the camera and flashlight being too low, as my fingers will block it sometimes which can be easily fixed if they went horizontal instead of vertical.

                  I had most generations of past folds , I just skipped the fold 7 and got the fold 8. So far I'm very happy with it, I thing the outside screen is more usable being wider than the candy cane style , I was never a fan of it. When you open it ilthe inner screen is very sharp and bright and the new aspect ratio is more enjoyable for most popular content I watch ( YouTube,FB,etc) also the crease is almost gone!. Battery last me all day compare to the fold 6 that I had to top up on the afternoon !. The smaller form factor I enjoy better , as it is easier to carry in the pocket, built quality seems pretty good as well , so durability must have being improved,only the time will tell. The new hardware paired with the new UI is very responsive and snappy .

                  I think this is a well thought out form factor: Browsing mode in Folded mode, and Productive mode in Unfolded mode. I am particularly impressed with the platform's support with multitasking with multiple phone apps e.g. you can even save app combos (e.g. Chrome + Keep Notes + Calculator) as shortcuts to the homescreen or the Apps Edge Panel. My only gripe? The Power button (with a built-in fingerprint sensor) feels mushy and not clicky!

                  I got this phome last week and still amazed by the beautiful piece of engineering that samsung has put into the z fold 8. It has the best for factor ever and it feels so comfortable to use. It is best for reaxing, watching content and even the camera is just perfect for a phone. Great work Samsung!
