[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose a Galaxy fold 8 because the form factor is a breath of fresh air. I love the fact that the shorter slightly wider aspect ratio fits videos nearly perfectly even when folded. As an engineer myself I appreciate efficiency and the ergonomics combined with the aspect ratio is the best of all worlds. Whether it's scrolling on social media or watching a video it feels right. I've been switching back and forth between my old s24 ultra and this phone and the s24 ultra now feels too long. Definitely not for everyone but the fact that Samsung gives you the option is greatly appreciated. I do not see myself going back to a long slab phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Samsung loyalist for over 15 years, I’ve used every generation of foldables from the original Z Flip to the 7th gen. I chose the Z Flip line in the first place because a small, compact size is a must for fitting into my small purses. This year, I chose to switch to the Z Fold 8, and it’s the best of both worlds! I absolutely love this new design! The new, lighter design still fits comfortably in my small bags, while the larger outer screen gives me significantly more productivity on the go. Combined with top-tier performance and a gorgeous inner display, Samsung has finally perfected the foldable form factor! I recommended to all my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying the new Z Fold 8! The new shape brings comfortability and compact together into one device! I'm happy I chose to wait on upgrading until this device came out! The experience I've had consuming media on this has been great, where short form videos are the focus on the main screen, and whole TV shows or movies are enjoyable on the large inner screen. One thing I miss between the Z Fold 8 and my old Z Flip 7... flex mode! It was so convenient to prop my phone open to watch something, read a recipe while cooking, etc. I didn't want a big phone like the Z Fold 8 Ultra, so I'm missing out on that key feature.

Overall device is great, crease almost feels nothing. No matter opening or closing the main screen, it feels smooth and solid. Use device 3 days, open more than hundred times of main screen, it feels no change for the operation. I am pretty sure I can use this phone for few years no problems. Main screen brightness 🔆 is great even under direct sunshine. I used device for 3 days, only charge one time i am so confident that I can use the phone full day with high usage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone. The screen size, picture quality, seeing yourself as you take selfies, double sided recording. I am not tech savvy but always wanted a better phone and from Samsung A12 to Fold 8 is a huge improvement finally. Battery seems to be depleting rather quickly for a new phone but might be my usage since I am in love with it It is quite responsive and quick to load sites and videos. As for durability and the hinges and the fold of the screen remain to be seen..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device is definitely my favorite smartphone that I've ever owned! I chose this one based on its overall form factor while still offering the inner screen, and it does not disappoint. I love the compact nature of the cover screen while still offering enough real estate to multitask on apps very easily in my real estate career. I would love to see future iterations include the Privacy display but it is not a deal breaker for me at all I'm absolutely in love with my fold8! If you're looking for a compact device with a long-lasting battery and Incredibly impressive performance look no further!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this let go of my Ultra 23 because I have been wanting a fold forever. The flip felt too small and I have been an Ultra girl since the note series. This phone ferls great in my hand. It feels like a mini book or even like a compact mirror. The screen is responsive. Flips through pages quickly. The colors of my videos, pictures and movies look stunning. I think the sound is louder than my S23 Ultra. My daughter complained it was too loud but not for me, lol. It's a great little phone and I can't wait until I can customize it even more. It's beautiful and sleek. I love the fingerprint sensor on the side. It responds quickly to unlock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8 since launch, and Samsung completely nailed the redesign this generation. What makes it incredible: Passport Form Factor: The wider 5.5-inch outer screen finally feels like a normal, comfortable smartphone. One-handed texting and quick browsing are effortless now. Virtually Invisible Crease: Unfolding to the 7.6-inch main display is fantastic. Thanks to the new Flex Titanium tech, the center crease is barely noticeable while watching videos or reading. Light & Ultra-Sleek: At just 201g and 9.7mm thin when folded, it slips into my pocket without any uncomfortable bulk. Powerhouse Performance & Battery: The Snapdragon 8 Elite processor flies through heavy multitasking, and the 4,800 mAh battery easily powers through a full day of dual-screen use. If you’ve been waiting for foldables to mature into the perfect daily driver, this is the generation to jump in on. Outstanding job, Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to purchase the z fold 8 for its wider display. Great for watching videos and as a musician, it is good for displaying music sheets. However, I wished I could still use the phone half folded like the flip models for hands-free selfies or watching videos without needing a support case. The screen to keyboard ratio on the cover screen could be better. The text display still seems a little small even if you adjust the keyboard to a minimal size. Otherwise, pretty design and fits well in the hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Great aspect ratio for both screens Really nice to have a very user friendly front screen Battery life is superb The lack of crease is amazing Weight of the device is perfect Cons: Speakers only being on one side while opened is a misstep The cameras really should line up horizontally at the top of device as my hand placement usually blocks the flash and bottom camera This phone is a step in the right direction. It's not perfect but it's very close and I can't wait the the next interation to see if Samsung is listening to the customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 from the Z Fold 6, and never have I enjoyed an upgrade so much in my life. I love the new shape, the lighter weight, the overall utility, and the displays on this phone. For the first time ever, I actually find myself using the cover screen regularly—something I virtually never did on my old Z Fold 6 because of its narrow, awkward feel. The data transfer and transition process wasn't as seamless as I would have liked, but once that setup bump was out of the way, it became a non-issue. The daily experience with the Z Fold 8 is simply fantastic, and making the switch was 100% worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung never dissapoints ,i nived to samsung when the first flip came and now this loving it!!!! I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been part of the Galaxy Z Fold family since the Fold 4. I have used the Fold 4, Fold 6, and now I’ve upgraded to the Z Fold 8 and I am genuinely amazed by the new form factor. The Z Fold 8 is incredibly slim and feels so much more comfortable to hold in the hand. The wider cover screen is also a major improvement, and it’s perfect for watching videos and everyday use without feeling cramped. I am really glad I chose the Z Fold 8. Samsung has once again impressed me with the Z Fold series. As always, the Z Fold never disappoints! Thank you, Samsung, for continuing to innovate and make the Fold series better with every generation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had fold 6 and had some difficulty to type on the front screen since it's little narrow. Now fold 8 is smaller but does everything better than fold 6 with wide front screen. It's so light and so easy to type on front screen, also fixed an ssue of mistakenly turning off the phone while unfolding the Phone with my fingers. I haven't tested the camera yet but for my daily use which are mostly checking slack messages and emails, and reviewing design sketches and artworks for game project, this little guy does everything so well. Hands down the best phone I ever had. Congrats Samsung. Hard work is now paying off with folding screen technology, there are so many small improvements in software as well. It makes normal looking so heavy and thick. I am not going back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone for its form factor, thought it would take some getting used to..... I was WRONG! This phone is going to be my sidekick for a very long time to come, the user interface all the way to doing stuff hands free, simplistic. The Samsung ecosystem is flawless and makes access to all of your Samsung electronics work seamlessly...... Great size for carrying it around and then turning it sideways for viewing media, just the right personalized size....... Camera takes great pics and video, to document all that life has to offer.......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Z Fold 8 simply because it was different. I've had the Z Fold 4, 5, 6, 7, and the Moto Razr Fold. It was weird when I first started setting it up, but I must say this bad girl is growing on me! I use my phone for a lot of media consumption, whether it's scrolling Instagram, browsing YouTube, reading comics, etc. This phone satisfies all my needs. The battery is still to be determined, but so far, so good! I recommend this phone for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size, it feels really sturdy and has durability. The hinge is a lot smoother than I was expecting and I love the way it feels. The folded out display is really nice and has more responsiveness than I expected from such a thin device. I have not really pushed the battery yet, however a charge lasts me my work day and with fast charging is full after around 2 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for basically everything. I read, surf the internet and play games. My last phone was the s23 ultra for the display size and the CPU was pretty alright. But now I game waaaaay more on my phone when I'm not home and I read a lot more Manga and comics so I felt like I had to chose the fold 8. The compact size of the front is perfect for tiktok and I perfer reading fanfics and books on the front display. Inside is THE PERFECT SIZE FOR MANGA AND COMICS! It is the same size as the paperwhite 12th gen. Only downside is no pen and the inner camera should be more to the corner cause it does mess the menu in a few gacha games like HSR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the Z flip 5, which I have had now for three years. I loved having a smaller phone, but I also used it for it's bending capability. I planned on getting the new Z flip 8 but when I saw this model I knew it was for me. It's smaller than average phones, and of course it unfolds to a much larger screen. I've missed having a phone that I could use without opening it. Today was the first full day of using it and I used the front screen to watch some videos and slightly opened the phone so it stood on its own. Absolutely loved it. I will now watch movies on the inside screen and i can't wait. This is such a smart move for Samsung!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was debating upgrading from the fold 7. Ultimately I chose to upgrade to the Fold 8 because the aspect ratio and the new design is amazing. It is the ultimate daily driver. I use my phone alot to watch movies, YouTube videos, and for reading. Reading on this phone is so comfortable on both the inner and outer displays. I find that in using the inner display alot more than I did on my previous fold because the new dimensions make it feel so much better in my small hands Also, the phone is just beautiful. I love that videos take up the whole screen on the outer display and the brightness on this phone makes everything look sharper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the perfect phone. I have had every model year of the Z Flip and several of the Z Fold. The Z Fold 8 is the perfect marriage of the two, and I chose it to replace my everyday use of the Flip. Within the first day, it became clear I wasn't going back to the Flip, which surprised me. I rarely used the cover screen on the Flip, although I had all the tools to do so. With the Fold 8, I use the front screen a lot and don't feel the need to open it every time I use it. And critical factor is that it fits in my pocket, which was a downfall with the previous Folds - too cumbersome for carrying. All in all, it's pretty perfect and I'm glad I chose it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this device after much consideration, and I have been using it for a couple of days now with great satisfaction. The overall design, weight, in-hand feel, and ergonomics are fantastic. Both the cover display and the unfolded main screen look amazing and offer an incredible viewing experience. If I had to point out a few minor drawbacks, the placement of the heat dissipation feels a bit noticeable during heavy use, and I occasionally experience slight stuttering on a few specific apps. However, these are minor details compared to how good the rest of the phone is. Overall, it is an outstanding device and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8, and I'm glad I did! I previously had the S23 Ultra, so I did not want to go smaller with the z flip 8, but I still wanted the smaller form factor; the fold 8 is the perfect sweet spot! The size when it is folded is small enough to fit in more pockets, but still large enough to use for anything. I have had no annoyances with the size when playing apps, watching youtube, and using an internet browser on the front screen. I was worried about sizing down and having less vertical space than before, but I have not been bothered by it. The center screen is great for everything I use the front screen for plus more! It is like a small tablet, and I love that. Having two apps up at the same time is very useful because utilizing the feature actually works; I could do the same on my S23 Ultra, but it felt cramped. Youtube video ratios work great, they take up almost the whole screen, and you can actually enjoy IMAX movies at a larger size. I was worried about battery life, but I have had no problems. I'm watching 3-4 hours of youtube on the center screen along with other normal phone activity like games and texting, and my battery is at %30 by the end of the day. I have battery protection on, so I only charge to %80. Somehow, streaming a 40 min episode on Disney+ on the center screen is only draining 3-4%?!? It is crazy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could handle everyday tasks while also giving me more screen space when I need it. I use it throughout the day for messaging, browsing, watching videos, managing emails, and staying organized. The larger unfolded display makes multitasking much more comfortable, especially when I want to use two apps without constantly switching between them. When folded, it still works well for quickly checking notifications and handling regular phone tasks. The Fold8 has made my daily routine more convenient and enjoyable, and it feels like having both a phone and a small tablet in one device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it took a brief adjustment period to get used to the shorter height, I chose this device because it delivers easily the best form factor available. It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. Most of all, it brought back that genuine sense of excitement for mobile technology that smartphones have lacked for a long time.

I love that I can use my phone not only to communicate and stay entertained, but also to be productive and get things done for work, personal projects, and hobbies. I had been waiting for this phone for a while, and now that I finally have it, I’m not disappointed at all. It’s extremely functional and perfect for entrepreneurs, students, or anyone with lots of ideas they want to bring to life. It’s like having my own little assistant, and the AI features are incredibly helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy z fold 8 and I don't regret it one bit. The keyboard is nice and wide making it hard to type incorrectly. When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a foldable phone for a while, but did not want the candy bar format of the Fold ultra. When this passport style form factor each announced, I was skeptical. Once I saw it on person, and held it in my hands and I knew I had to have it. I chose the Z Fold 8 in lavender, which is a gorgeous color. I love this phone's versatility. Streaming, scrolling, typing, multitasking. This phone does it all well. I love both displays, the colors are vibrant without feeling oversaturated. The battery life so far is very impressive. I'm looking forward to enjoying this device on daily life as well as traveling.

Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time Samsung phone user, I have to tell you, I've been waiting for this exact form factor in a phone for a very long time. Was absolutely shocked when I saw Samsung was releasing one, and as a fold nonetheless. I am coming from a fold 6, and t in being honest I really wish this had S-Pen support. That is the only thing it's missing. Beyond that, it is just as amazing as I was hoping. Looking forward to the future of this line now, and will definitely be upgrading if they add pen support. Knocked it out of the park with this one Samsung. I chose this among the competitors and am very happy I did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I chose this phone to replace a Fold 5. I do like this form factor. I mainly use this for day to day browsing, media, and light gaming. For me it was a good upgrade from the 5. But there are some deficiencies. The speakers are a glaring issue for me, they sound significantly worse than the 5. It is really thin and too lightweight. Without a good case that adds weight and grip it is difficult to hold on to. It does have a very snappy processor and apps respond well. Video on the inner display is were this phone shines. Crease is barely noticeable. I would recommend this phone for both new to foldables and returning users.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Fold 8 (wide) is a great new phone in regards to the external screen and internal folding screen. My only negative thought is no 200 megapixel main sensor and no telephoto lens, very disappointing on such a high end phone with such a high cost. As you will learn due to the Fold 8's high volume of sales, many people like larger phones but not necessarily folding ones. I suggest Samsung consider making a larger nonfolding phone, similar to the width of the Fold 8's external screen but also taller. Bring back the old Samsung Mega branding or call it the Samsung Titan. Again, their is a large market for larger phones especially in this day and age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this and the Razr fold to try. Both have their amazing benefits and bring what most users wanted to the market. I ended up returning the Razr for software alone. One UI is incredible and the Z Fold 8 is like having 3 devices in one. I rarely take photos but it's strange Samsung purposely set up a gen 2 with upgraded cameras. Keep us loyal at the onset! This device is amazingly light, strong, last long, has amazing screens, so easy and fun to use. Finally a phone is fun again! I got so sick and bored of the slabs and remote style. This for. Factor is perfect! Love it. So glad I chose to try this out, keeping it until gen 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Samsung Z Galaxy product user and I chose the new Fold 8 because of the form factor. The phone is the exact size of a Travel passport albeit a few mm thicker. I can hold the phone in my back pocket without it sticking out. I like that I can do most of my tasks using the apps on the cover screen because of the larger size. The rest of the phone features are what Samsung is known for. As for any negatives, I have owned previous Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones versions and have had cover screen and screen issues. Hopefully Samsung has figured out to avoid the problem in it's 8th version of the phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because this is exactly the kind of foldable phone I’ve been waiting for. I really like the new wider design—it feels compact and comfortable when folded, but once you open it, you get a beautiful large screen that feels like having a mini tablet in your pocket. The phone is surprisingly light and thin for a foldable, and the overall design feels much more practical for everyday use. The large inner display is great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking. For me, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 finally feels like the right balance between a smartphone and a tablet. I’m really happy I chose it!

It's like a mini passport or booklet, great for everyday phone use to fit in the palm of your hand and fold out to be large enough like a mini tablet for mutiscreen productivity, gaming, or streaming. The intuitive and thoughtful layout that is completely customizable is an added bonus for Android users.

I use the cover screen for quick messages, calls, and checking notifications. When I open the phone, the larger display is very useful for watching videos, gaming, studying, and doing schoolwork. I also like using multiple apps at the same time, especially when I need to take notes while reading something online. The phone feels fast, the screen looks clear, and the folding design makes everyday tasks more convenient. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I was a little nervous switching to a foldable, but I am SO glad I did. The biggest win for me is the front screen—you can actually type on it normally with one hand now without making a million typos! Opening it up feels like magic every single time. It’s perfect for watching YouTube, reading, or having two apps open side-by-side. It’s also way thinner and lighter in my pocket than I expected. Battery easily lasts me all day with normal use. If you’re on the fence, just get it! Pros: Cover screen feels normal, super fun to watch videos on, fits easily in pockets. Cons: A bit of an investment, but totally worth it.

The screen is just amazing, and the build quality is second to none. Well done, Samsung, for bringing out this device. I'm so attached to it that I've fallen out with my missus because she also wants this device. I super highly recommend the Fold 8, period. It makes traditional phones look boring. 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because of the new form factor. I had the Flip's, from the Flip2 to the Flip5, because I missed having a compact phone, but the Fold (now "Fold Ultra") was always glaring at me in the distance, judging like a Shiba Inu, as if saying "You'll never get this! You'll never get this! La-la-la" but it was just too large and heavy. Fast forward to the Fold8, the perfect "happy medium," that "just right" bowl of porridge that I couldn't pass up, and... Wow! I'm glad that I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 now. Today, Samsung, I break the cage, "I get this!" and I high-five you. The bigger battery is very nice!

Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

The battery life is better than any device I ever had despite it being so thin. You can use this device folded 24/7 and forget that it can unfold to have an even bigger display! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. One of my favorite things is how compact and comfortable it feels when folded. The smaller size makes it much easier to hold and use with one hand, which is very convenient for everyday use. The new hinge design also feels like a nice improvement. It feels smooth and solid, and the crease on the main screen is noticeably less visible, giving the large display a cleaner and more premium look. Overall, the Fold 8 combines the convenience of a compact phone with the benefits of a large screen when you need it. Great design, easier one-handed use, improved hinge, and a better-looking main display. Very happy with it!

It's very convenient for carrying in my pocket. The outer screen is a good size with great resolution and good connection. I love the body of the phone. I went with the pistachio and love it. I would love it more if they had offered the Fold 8 in violet shadow. Unfolded, it's perfect for social media and video streaming—no more huge black bars when watching a movie, very thin when unfolded and not heavy. Love the super-fast charge. Thanks for sharing your review of the Z Fold8, Cad. It's brilliant to hear that you're enjoying the 2 displays, the crease free design, and the durable hinge. When a phone is brand new, it's normal to experience a shorter battery life during the first week, as users activate many applications and set up different features. The phone optimises usage during this time, and you will soon begin to see vast improvements in the battery's performance. It is great for me because I do a lot of work on their phone. The issue I have is how fast it heats up. I had 2 app running on both screen and in less than 20 mins it gave me over heating message. I did update the software as advised, but still feel that it still heats up pretty fast. I took off the thin Samsung case to let it cool down too. I have not tried opening 2 apps on screen since the update. It feel a little warm even with just one app running but not as bad. I guess I will see if this will be my one and only fold phones.

If you are looking for a phone that fits in your pocket easily but also a phone that does not make you squint your eye to read this is the right one for you. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to purchase a new handset this month and I am very pleased to share that i am so excited and happy with my new device. It was remarkably easy to set up and transfer from my old device. I think the new passport size and shape is awesome. I plan to use it to search the web to gain new knowledge of how things work, also to manage my email and for work and entertainment. I think this new development is just too cool. Loving the lavender finish. The giant screen makes watching crochet tutorials on Youtube much easier to see. I think I'm going to accomplish great things with my new handset, it has such a great camera to help me capture and share pictures thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is an absolute game-changer, and I couldn't be happier with it! The massive, stunning inner display completely redefines how I consume media and stay entertained. I choose this phone every day over any regular device because the immersive screen makes everything look breathtaking. I use it for streaming all my favorite shows and movies in high definition, and the vibrant colors bring every scene to life. When it comes to mobile gaming, the performance is exceptionally smooth, handling demanding games effortlessly with zero lag. The hinge feel and refined design make holding it a breeze. It truly is the ultimate all-in-one mobile flagship!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the zfold 8 because of the new form factor. It is much better tailored for viewing videos and twitch streams. Most features of the phone are an upgrade from my zfold 5, especially the amazing speakers, however, 2 of the main hiccups for me have been tbe RCS chat transfer (when transferring Esim, you wont be able to text anymore unless you do a very long winded process that doesnt always work) and the lack of the camera notch pixels that previously hid the inner camera. Im not sure why the inner screen needs a camera, it majorly discracts from full screen gaming and videos. I can get used to it though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Introduction: I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 for 2 weeks now and I have enjoyed every day of using it. Here are my thoughts on the phone. Positives: The short wide form factor display is compact, durable protected against dirt and debris and well built quality with a responsive screen for viewing more content and multitask with a nice 50/50 split with 3 applications. The applications open quickly with no lagging and watching videos on the 7.6 inch screen is fantastic. I found that the battery lasted typically a day and half with maximum protection enabled. Using it for productivity was great with the built-in scanner and AI tools. In particular, the Good luck application offered plugins to customize the fold 8 to for optimum performance and productivity. Negatives: I noticed that the phone snaps fully open or shuts instead of holding at around 50% angles because the hinge lacks the resistance needed to prop the phone open like a mini-laptop. In addition, flex mode panel settings are missing. The phone is slightly too wide for my small hands however I was able to use the Good luck application and the gestures to enable easy reachability on the front screen. In the next update of the phone I suggest that Samsung reduces the bezels and thickness of the phone. Conclusions: The Galaxy fold 8 new form factor is a well built phone with a video-friendly display with excellent battery life, quick performance, and helpful AI features. This is now my main and only phone at least until the next upgrade in 2027.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the winning design of foldable phones for my work phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is perfect. A foldable phone that is truly usable folded or Not! I'm in the IT industry and use it for writing bpml, and searching for solutions. When i find documentation that I need to read I unfold and rotate and read like its a good book by the fire. Then when I'm off work it's great for social media and keeping up with world events. From multitasking to email to listening to music. Was concerned about the small passport size and fitting in my jean pocket. But it's not a problem. Fits like a charm, no issues. Well done Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year, I chose to upgrade from z fold 7 to z fold 8, and I'm so glad I did so! I've been waiting for Samsung to release the passport form factor. The phone feels great in the pocket and in the hand this way. And when you unfold it, you have two distinct orientations that are each suited to their own applications: vertical is great for social media feeds, reading webpages and articles; whereas horizontal is great for multitasking and watching media. I hope THIS form factor gets the ultra moniker next time around, as I have a feeling many people are going to share my opinion that this is the superior form factor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to see "arriving August 5th" in my email. My birthday is tomorrow and after unboxing, I cannot think of a better birthday present. I chose to be part of the z series family starting with the fold 2. I have always been...ok....with it's tall form factor but secretly admired the shape of the pixel fold. When they announced the fold 8....I knew I had to choose this one. Folds are .ore than just an option, they are a multitask necessity. I have chosen to continue being a good user and I do not think I will go back. Great job samsung! Proud to be a galaxy fan since the s2 and Samsung user since the blackjack 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Fold 8 for a few days now and I have to say it's the best foldable on the market currently. It's the best form factor. Slim and lightweight, fits in your pocket without issue, and unfolds into a mini tablet perfect for consumption. Whether it's videos, music, social media, web-browsing, it's the perfect device. The battery is long-lasting, and the display is vibrant. I can catch up on my latest shows on the move. I chose this device because it brings forth innovation, it shows what Samsung has always been about. Pushing boundaries. Can't wait for the next Fold. You better believe I'll be there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 because I am a big fan of the Fold series. However, the phone always seemed really long. So when this version was created, I was super excited because I am a media consumer, and the aspect ratio that you get when you open the phone is truly amazing. I find myself operating on the phone with it closed mostly, and then I'm able to open it for entertainment, which is perfect. It's very lightweight, and I love the faster charging. The only gripe that I have is that the icons rotate and rearrange when you have the phone open and you switch to vertical mode. But other than that, the phone is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my flip 6 to the new Fold 8 because I find myself using my mobile for more than content creation. A big part is office work on the go including Teams, Outlook and CRM activities. With its new form factor it's easy to run a meeting and then do my email follow ups. Using social media apps are a breeze and the expanded display is vivid and smooth visually. The camera works great and the pictures are are crisp looking even in lower light. I love how the front screen is super useful and can run apps, get notifications without having to open the full phone. So far it's a great phone. The future of mobility is here and it's brought to you by Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive foldable that combines a compact phone with a large 7.6-inch display for multitasking, streaming and productivity. Its slimmer 201g design, improved hinge and much less noticeable crease make it more comfortable and refined than earlier Fold models. Performance is excellent, while the 50MP camera system produces strong results in everyday photography. The main drawbacks are the very high price, the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera and the relatively small 4,800mAh battery. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is a premium and versatile foldable that is ideal for users who value a large screen and multitasking in a pocketable device.

We're pleased to hear that you're impressed by the compact design and large inner display of the Galaxy Z Fold8, which delivers on both portability and productivity. It's our slimmest and lightest yet most durable folding device to date, and the performance is both silky smooth and lightning fast thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. The Camera brings with it professional-grade shots, capturing all your favourite memories with crystal clarity and perfect colours. We appreciate your feedback regarding the price and Camera features, along with the battery capacity. We do try to keep our prices competitive whilst still engineering top-quality devices with the most innovative features that are available in technology today. Additionally, we regularly offer some absolutely fantastic deals, discounts and promotions, and these can be found on the product pages themselves and with all of our offers in one place here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/offer/ We also offer a price promise, and you can find out more about this here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/price-promise/ Whilst the battery is indeed 4,800 mAh, it is our first high density silicon-carbon battery, and it's massively enhanced by the powerful and custom-made processor along with innovative Galaxy AI. This all combines to mean that it delivers many more hours than its predecessors. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback! ^EW at Samsung Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Fold 8 to try the new size, but I am disappointed by the losses on the camera quality starting around 20ft away. In addition, the half folds (L shape) or tent fold (A Shape), don't seem to work that well. It actually measure up well next to my Fold 3, so I turn it long ways to type better, as the wide screen makes the keyboard too long for me. I also miss the full size of the cover screen. It severely displaced my home screen and spit the icons up weirdly over the other panels. Like the left over icons from panel 1, didn't simply get pushed to panel 2? I want to see if I can switch to the Fold 8 Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never cared about the camera or s-pen support. I just wanted a bigger screen when I wanted it. But the old Zfold models struggled with certain types of content. I am a big manga reader and the zfold qas great for manga, that said it always had wasted space. When I played games like Pokemon Pocket, it had those ugly black bar letterboxing, reading manga it was there, youtube videos it was horrible and for movies I would honestly not find a significant difference with just using the cover display. I chose the Zfold 8 because for what I use my phone for on the daily, my gaming, reading, content consumption and just generally using my phone has become so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and switching to this wider aspect ratio is an absolute game changer. Closed, the front screen feels like a normal phone instead of a narrow strip, making it so much easier to type fast, check messages, and scroll without constantly having to unfold it. Unfolded, the main display is massive, bright, and perfect for multitasking or running two apps side-by-side. The phone feels noticeably lighter and thinner in your hand, and the crease down the middle is way less visible than on older models. Battery life easily gets me through a full, busy day, and performance is fast and smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 primarily because I needed a smaller phone to fit in my uniform pocket but still had times I needed a larger screen. The Fold 8 does more than fit the bill. I have found that it responds to inputs and requests quickly and the volume is sufficiently loud. I no longer have to worry about the S Pen falling out as it frequently did on my 25 Ultra. I greatly enjoy the folding feature when I am ready either important emails or documents or relaxing with a book from apps. Once it's time to go to work the phone folds down to an easily manageable small size. Overall great job Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous phone was the Galaxy Z Fold 7 which I loved, but I chose to try the new passport-like form factor with with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and so far I am loving it. It is a bit smaller in total screen size but the new form instantly clicked for my normal phone use, which is primarily video watching and some light mobile gaming. Also with the 7 I found myself immediately rotating the device sideways to get the widest screen possible, whereas with the 8 you are already at the widest possible immediately upon unfolding. I appreciate the lighter weight and I'm also finding the cover screen much more usable than the 7 and a better fit in both my front and back pocket. Recommended.

Up until this year I have always went with the S series phones and so far I am so glad I chose z fold! I am always using the inner display for multitasking and also for watching videos. I love the customizability of the z fold and the new features that came with the latest version of One UI! I would definitely buy a Z Fold again! The new passport style form factor is a real game changer, it makes videos so much better to watch on the bigger screen without needing another device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

We're delighted to hear that you like the slim and lightweight design along with the very convenient folding display of the Z Fold8, Bogdan. We appreciate your feedback regarding magnetic wireless charging, S Pen support, external screen protectors, the included charging cable, and the battery. Whilst the Z Fold8 doesn't have built-in magnets for magnetic charging, it is Qi2 Ready, meaning you can fully unlock magnetic charging capabilities up to 20W speeds by pairing the phone with a magnetic case. Magnetic cases are available on our website here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/aisearch/?searchvalue=z%20fold8%20magnetic%20case The Z Fold8 doesn't support the S Pen due to hardware design, which is focused on folding screen improvement, size, weight, and durability. This decision was taken after direct user feedback. However, you can still use a generic capacitive stylus on the phone. Galaxy Z series phones come with a specially designed screen protector pre-installed on the inner screen, and outer screen protectors can be purchased here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/aisearch/?searchvalue=z%20fold8%20screen%20protector In the box, you will find a USB-C to USB-C cable which supports data syncing and charging up to the phone's 45W limit. Moving on to the battery, the Z Fold8 features a 4,800 mAh battery, and it is a high-density silicon-carbon battery. It's massively enhanced by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor along with innovative Galaxy AI, which means that it delivers much longer power hours than the number would initially suggest. This all helps with the physical size and weight of the phone whilst actually boosting battery performance when compared to predecessors. We hope this information is helpful, and thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback. ^EW at Samsung Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 after 3 years with my Fold 5, and it's a total 10/10! The new squarer aspect ratio makes video watching and social scrolling so much better. Loving the in-hand texture and how ridiculously slim and lightweight it feels. The inner screen is practically creaseless and amazing for multitasking, but that giant canvas makes me really wish it had S-Pen digitizer support for jotting down notes. Giving up the pen feature was a compromise worth making for this thin design, but I hope it returns in the future. Zero regrets!
