I chose this watch because it had all the latest features. Well I have found that with all these new features you give up battery life. The watch has no battery life at ALL. I have to charge it daily. I will go to bed at 100% and wake up with it between 75 - 80% battery life. When i go to the battery settings its shows that the battery life is 1d 11h. I previously had the watch 7 and it easily lasted 4 days or 5 if i shut down the features. I guess with all the new features and the AI its just not worth it at this time. Im disappointed as i had such high hopes.

                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the watch 7 40mm bt and the battery life was getting short, barely making a day, with gps turned off. It was time to upgrade. I chose the same version in the Galaxy watch 9 40mm Bluetooth. First thing I noticed was they changed the wrist strap. Went back to one that doesn't tuck inside and requires a loop to contain the tail. I kind of preferred the one that tucked in. Both were considered the sport strap style. Once it was setup i did notice that it seemed faster, switching screen was quick and apps loaded quick. I do like some of the new health stats it has. It has not been a week yet so some are still "calibrating", it says. Overall it was worth the upgrade from a 7 to 9.

This year they increase the battery size and I was a huge fan of that. I also like the fact that they increase the brightness of the watch screen in addition to the battery size so the watch face is now brighter. My last Galaxy watch survived a motorcycle accident so clearly they are built tough and I will continue to get a new watch when they release as I look forward to new features. I would be a huge fan of eliminating the bezel around the watch in the future so they could increase the screen size without increasing the watch size.

I couldn't be more happier. the watch first well with two sliders to keep it snug. The apps transferred from my old watch and had alot of other apps included. The set up was fast and convenient. I couldn't have asked for better experience. I also have the samsung galaxy note 20 5G linked to the watch and I also added a data plan which was awesome because my old one didn't have one and I couldn't get calls unless I had my phone. Now I can receive and make calls without my phone. I love it.

The new and updated Samsung health features have a lot of useful information. Setting up the features that I want to see and use on a daily basis couldn't be simpler than a press of a few buttons. I'm a long time fan of Samsung and their products. My whole home ecosystem is actually Samsung products and with smart things, I can control it all right from my wrist. If you are looking for a watch or wearable that is easy to use with Android, I highly recommend Samsung and the galaxy line of products. They continue to impress me with how seamlessly their products work with each other and the quality of their products. 10/10 would highly recommend to family and friends all the time.

It looks nice and feels very comfortable on my wrist. ​Everything runs super fast. When you swipe the screen or open your apps, it never slows down. The health tools are also really helpful.                                   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Galaxy watches since the Gear and most recently had the Galaxy Watch 7 44mm and decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 9 44mm. I'm honestly not very satisfied with it and feel the 7 was better for the following reasons: 1. In my opinion the Watch 7 had better wrist straps than the 9. 2. I'm not liking the squircle design as much and find the rounded design to be better. 3. The Watch 9 does not lay flat to charge on the the Samsung dual wireless charger. This is a miss on Samsung's part. Only way to use the dual charger is to fold the wrist straps in opposite direction and loop them, which is annoying. Otherwise it's not much different from than the 7 on how it functions. As for the battery after 12 hrs of usage its down to 65%. The responsive seems fine with no noticeable lag. I'm interested to see what improvement the Watch 10 will bring.

My most recent watch was the Galaxy watch 7 which I loved. So far I enjoy the new Galaxy watch 9 but my only complaint is the small band that it comes with is not comparable inside to the Galaxy watch 7. It barely fits my wrist and I will not be faced with having to buy a new watch band when in watches past the small band fit with three to four loops of excess room. Otherwise I really like the fitness of the watch 9 compared to the watch 7 and find that it forms to my wrist so much better. The battery seems to be a little better as well.

I don't wear a lot of jewelry or watches partly because I work in health care, partly because I don't like how it feels wearing watches, rings ect. With the Galaxy watch 9, I don't even notice it. It's so lightweight, I forget I even have it on. Performance wise, its so fast. The screen is a little larger than my previous. Highly recommend.

The Watch9 may just be my new favorite. I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

Counts each kilometer as 2.5. Totally worthless. Samsung refuses to refund me as - here comes the kicker now - "I opened the package already". Now as a normal human being with an IQ over 20 I ask you: How would you know the watch can't count properly if you never tried it on? Or in other words: If you know it was faulty before opening the package - why on earth would you have bought it in the first place? NEVER SAMSUNG FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN. I warned you!

The immediate improvement is the fit. The new design introduced on the 8 really does sit more nicely on the wrist. The screen seems sharper as well. I was disappointed that the backup of my Watch 7 would not at all restore to the Watch 9; I had to setup and install (or uninstall) everything from scratch. And I don't love the Mystic band. It'll do, but I'll probably get a replacement. I'm hopeful that the Snapdragon processor and slightly larger battery will result in truly all day life. So far so good!

                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the main reason I choose the galaxy watch 9 is the new snapdragon wear elite chip. older models could be slow, but this one is super fast and loading apps is way better. the screen is crazy bright outside hitting 3000 nits. the design kept that squircle cushion shape, and it's super lightweight with an aluminum case. it doesn't bother me at all wearing it all day on a job site. the health tracking is solid too. it tracks my vitals and gives coaching to help me sleep better. the battery life is just okay, mostly lasting about a day, but the overall speed boost makes it worth it.

This is my 4th version of the Galaxy Watch and each time they get better. The 9 has a new shape and like it compared to my watch 7. So far my only complaint has been the watch band. I liked on my Watch 7 that it tucked inside and you didn't see the extra slack, the watch 9 is more like a traditional watch band. Other than that it has been good. The battery seemed to drain fast on day 1 but hopefully that was part of the getting the watch set up. It was easy set up to transfer everything from my old watch to my new one.

I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The operating system is smooth and efficient enough to last me throughout the whole day. It is lightweight and very stylish especially the white color it goes with my new Fold 8. I still need to dive deeper into the health features but already did one night of the sleep apnea and link to my service provider since i chose the LTE model over the Wi-Fi for convenience.

I was initially worried the larger size might feel too bulky on my wrist, but it's surprisingly comfortable and doesn't feel dramatically bigger. The thinner profile helps it sit nicely on my wrist, and I really appreciate the larger, brighter display and improve battery capacity. It feels like a meaningful upgrade while still being comfortable enough to wear all day and overnight. So far I'm very pleased with a fit, design, and overall experience.

                                  I have had Fitbits since 2020. Thru didn't do much, but suited my needs. I felt the battery wasn't laying very long any more so I decided to move into a real watch.I am enjoying all the bells and whistles on this. The problem is fun comes with a cost. I feel the battery life is trash. I guess I should have looked into battery life a little more. I'm sad to have to reboot it every day. And it takes almost 2 hours to charge. I have turned off several of the features, but isn't that why you buy this product? So many things are battery hogs.

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

Its a solidly executed watch, although I didn't really feel much of a performance improvement on the new chipset. Interactions are possibly a little more fluid, but not much. I like the new health features which help round out the app and metrics. I am a Pixel phone user (and have no plans to switch), so I'm a little bummed that somethings like EKG and sleep apnea are tied to Samsung phones with no options for non-Samsung devices to get these. Lastly the set up was less smooth than the previous version. When setting up the watch, it asked to send a code to my ild watch, which it disconnected during set up, preventing me from getting the code. The back up and restore was more manual than I would expect. I would recommend just doing a fresh install if you are upgrading. Overall very happy with the watch even with the couple missteps.

I also chose the Misty Blue band and I really like the look. I am Super happy with the improvements in the GPS response when I start a workout. I feel like the profile is a little lower but it has a more Square or Boxy look. So far everything is working great. I also chose the Misty Black band and I also like this look. I have the small medium band and wear it on the 4 th whole but sometimes place it at the 5 th hole.

                                  Just received my new Watch 9 the other day, love the new features. I like that I can use the band that fit my watch 8 the only issue I have which I dinged 1 star on is it can not use my 3rd party charging station. My station had no problems charging my watch 8. Watch 9 states it's not compatible with the charging station. I tried updating the charging station but that too will not work. So far the only charger that will work is the one that came with the watch which I'm not a big fan of.

The battery life is a bit low and the responsiveness of the screen and UI has always felt a bit delayed, but otherwise I've had no complaints with the Gen 8. I mainly use it for health tracking and exercise tracking while listening to music or audio books. The upgrade to the Galaxy watch 9 seems to be marginal at best. It has slightly better battery life and has a slightly snappier feel to the UI overall, otherwise it maintains the strengths of the 8th gen and remains very comfortable and practical. I love the idea of the Galaxy watch ultra and it's much larger battery, but I prioritize the slim design and much reduced weight compared to the ultra model.

                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to replace my Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 with a Watch 9 because I've always known Samsung as being a leader in progress and innovation. Surely, two years was enough to see a marked improvement over my old watch. I was wrong. The only truly notable difference between the 7 and the 9 is the bezel. It's not even a nice difference. It can be distracting under certain lighting conditions, and I fish for the home button more now that it's not rounding the edge. Still, I think I'll grow used to it. Otherwise, everything is pretty much the same. Compare the specs and there's not much daylight between the two watches. The display feels slightly more crisp, but it's also new. It feels slightly more reactive, I suppose. Maybe it is quicker for AI tasks, but I don't use the AI features... One noted downgrade is actually the battery. It's slightly larger, yet I find the battery life to be slightly worse. It's had enough time to "settle" so I think this is a feature. In short: I paid to replace my watch with a slightly less efficient watch wearing a tutu. Unless your watch is three years old or older, I would wait another year to upgrade. Nothing to see here.

Overall, the Galaxy Watch 9 feels like a well-rounded upgrade with better comfort, improved battery performance, and enhanced health features that make it a great choice for staying connected and tracking wellness.

                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 because I wanted a smartwatch that could help me stay on track with my fitness goals while also giving me access to additional health features, like being able to review my vitals. So far, I’m really happy with my purchase! One of my favorite things about the watch is the screen. I love the size, it’s large enough that everything is easy to see and navigate without feeling too bulky on my wrist. It’s also extremely responsive, and moving between apps and features feels quick and smooth. I purchased mine with the fabric band, and it’s incredibly comfortable, even when wearing it for long periods of time. That’s a big plus since I like keeping my watch on throughout the day to track my activity. Overall, I’m very happy with the Galaxy Watch 9. It has the fitness and health features I was looking for, a great screen, and it’s comfortable enough for everyday wear.

                                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my new Samsung Galaxy Watch today, I am so happy I chose the Galaxy 9 and so far I'm really impressed. Setup was quick and easy, and the watch paired with my phone without any issues. The display is bright, crisp, and very responsive, making it easy to navigate through all the features. I'm still exploring everything it can do, but I already love how comfortable it feels on my wrist and how customizable it is. The health and fitness tracking features look promising, and I'm excited to use the sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and activity tracking every day. Overall, it's a great first impression.
