How do I download apps on my Samsung Galaxy Watch?
Just like on your phone, you can install, customise, and uninstall apps on your Galaxy Watch. Personalise your smartwatch to fit your needs and preferences. Simply follow the guide below to learn how to install apps from the Play Store on your Galaxy Watch4 through to your Galaxy Watch8 and Ultra2.
If you have a Galaxy Watch operating on Tizen OS you can download applications via the Galaxy Apps Store.

Method 1: Download directly from your Galaxy Watch (Recommended)
1. Swipe up on your watch screen to open the Apps tray and tap on the Play Store icon.
2. Tap on the Search button and type in the name of the app you wish to install.
3. Select the app from your results and tap on Install
4. Once installed, the application will be stored in your apps tray.
Method 2: Download via your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone
1. Launch the Play Store app
2. Tap on Search
3. Search for the app you would like to download
4. Tap on This device
5. Select your Galaxy Watch
6. Select the app you would like to download
7. Tap on Install
8. Once the app has been installed you will be able to view it within your Apps Tray
Troubleshooting Common Download Issues
Why is my app download stuck on 'Pending'?
1. Check that your watch is connected to Wi-Fi or properly connected to your Galaxy smartphone via Bluetooth.
2. Open the Play Store app on your watch, scroll down to My Apps and check if an automatic system update is currently blocking queued downloads.
