COVID-19 is impacting our Samsung Experience Stores
Samsung Electronics Australia’s first priority is the health and safety of its employees and customers. The company continues to adapt its business operations to navigate the evolving implications of COVID-19 and will temporarily close a number of its retail locations.
Following trade this Sunday, March 29, Samsung will temporarily close all its Galaxy Studios in Australia. Samsung will be working with its store employees to support them and most will be eligible to receive financial assistance from Samsung.
Samsung recognises that mobile devices are critical to helping people stay connected and to provide access to online services during government-mandated social distancing. As such, the Samsung Experience Stores in Sydney (450 George Street Sydney) and Melbourne (Highpoint Shopping Centre and Melbourne Central) will continue to operate at reduced hours while adhering to all government and health authority guidelines.
The Samsung online store continues to operate and stock continues to be available, though delivery times may be extended as logistics have been impacted by COVID-19.
Samsung will also pause in-store repair services, although customers who require an urgent device repair or service can ‘Create A Service Booking’ via the Samsung Australia website (www.samsung.com/au/support/your-service/main/).
