                Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

                My first fold. Unbelievable device. New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

                The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive foldable that combines a compact phone with a large 7.6-inch display for multitasking, streaming and productivity.                 I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

                I recently got the Galaxy Z Fold8 as an upgrade from my Flip 6, and I’m extremely impressed. The battery life is phenomenal — although it’s my second phone, I’ve had it on 24/7 since release and have only charged it twice! The sleek design is what first drew me to it, as it folds down to a compact size that fits easily into almost any pocket or bag, especially compared with my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The display is fantastic, and the camera takes outstanding, crystal-clear photos. The hinge feels strong and sturdy, making it easy to open and close. I also love the responsiveness of the phone, especially being able to text, call, browse the internet and do pretty much everything from the front screen without having to fully open it. I absolutely love this phone!

                Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

                This thing is truly a marvel of Engineering! I'm coming from an S23 Ultra and this feels like I'm living in the future. The hinge mechanism is really sturdy and it's so light? It's literally thinner than my old phone but somehow has 3 screens, amazing. I've fitted an Aramid case from Spidgen to keep it safe which is really nice. It still feels very durable though, even with the thinness. Happy with the battery so far, great to finally see SiC battery tech in the phones this year. UI is great as always and very responsive.

                I have gad several Flip and Fold devices and with regards to tge Golds I havnt used them as much as I thought. This was dye to the thin and tall form factor. The Fold 8 flips this, I love using the front screen for all my notifications and quick browsing but when I need to I open up to a tablet size that is much better to use. And every time you pick up the Fold 8 you are surprised by how light it is, you expect it to be heavier, and it jyst feels right to hold and use. This has now for me anyway replaced both my Fold and Flip phones

                It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

                Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

                The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

                The battery is definitely keeping the phone on longer. I found the wide form better especially for using the phone digital keyboard. On the small display some of the texts contained inside a box are not displayed entirely but that could be because of how that app resize the content on the small screen and because of using a bigger font

                Made the change from Fold 7 few days ago and don't regret it that's for sure. My Lavander colour tiny piece of tech Fold 8 is a masterpiece indeed 🫠 The "passport phone" stays charged almost 20 hours, fits perfectly in my hands ( girl hands, btw) , and now I have turned it pink all over, from the cover, to the screen 😄 I can't remember since I have written messages with both hands, and I love it . Opened for reading is something else. The hinge is strong and you can't see the middle line on the screen anymore. I am purely in love with it ❤️ 😍 💖

                I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

                I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

                Much lighter and thinner than it's great,great ma' the Z Fold2; a phone I loved and my first folding phone. But that device got stuck on Android 13. The Z Fold 8 will get at least seven major upgrades and so it should being a flagship entity. The first thing that hits you is the size. Suggestive of a passport, it fits easily into a pocket; 9.7mm when folded. It is considerably thinner that what I had. It is 4.5mm when unfolded. When opened it is roughly the size of an Amazon Kindle. The screen has significantly less glare and razor sharp resolution of 1828x2448 and featuring an AMOLED 2X display. The camera features two 50 Megapixel cameras on the rear of unit plus two additional cameras; one on the cover screen and the other on the main. Sadly there is no telephoto lens. Using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, I find blazing fast and able to cope with most tasks that I do. In the course of time, more and more applications will be written/rewritten to take advantage of fold screens. In settings under Display》Aspect Ratio, every application can be set to run in full screen mode. Enjoying this phone so far as a massive improvement over my previous phone.

                I was skeptical to begin with as to the new shape having owned a z fold 5 for a couple of years. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

                Battery so far appears to be good, display is awesome, durabiliity will.tell te tale further down the line. The hinge is super important and I will ensure that it is always protectedlastly the responsiveness is fast the only issue is when the cover is on the buttons are not not readily or easily accessible as the cover is in the way. I opted for the z fold 8 instead of the ultra as I have had always the same ie ultra. The price and size compared is 100 % better choice as I got the z fold 8 512MB

                As always I find Samsung phones easy to use. With the fold it’s easy to see everything clearly and thus don’t always need my glasses to see what I’m doing. So far the battery life is showing to be good and as I use my phone constantly that’s a bonus. Hope this phone lasts me as long as my last one, which I had for five years! Loved it so much I didn’t want a new one, but it was time and so far this one is much better. Still I have much to learn about all the capabilities of my new phone. Being of the older generation I will take my time.

                This is the perfect phone/tablet for me, it's given me a really decent lightweight android version of an iPad mini that does everything I need a small tablet to do which just so happens to fold in half and fit perfectly in my pocket, then in phone mode it's got such a great outer display that works so well for photos, maps, pdfs, browser etc etc. it's so thin and light it's ridiculous that it's even possible! Battery life is so good easily a day sometimes even two, Screen quality is perfect, hinge feels great, I could go on and on and on

                Blown away by the Z Fold8 , great form factor and size, the inner display is absolutely beautiful and in a small way feels it quite large, its the first foldable im really happy with, it's built for durability and just feels solid, with a solid hinge and yet easier to handle than previous versions. The battery holds up well considering I've been on it all the time and it is yet to improve still. I would love to see Samsung Dex running natively on the inner display, it would be a total game changer, I also feel this form factor deserves the reintroduction of the sPen on the foldables, the cover screen is perfect for scribbling notes and the inner display for the inner artist. Furthermore, im very happy with my decision on the Fold8, I shall not look back...

                I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 for a short while now and I'm genuinely impressed. The display is stunning, both inside and out, and the larger screen is fantastic for multitasking, reading documents and watching videos. Performance is incredibly responsive, with apps opening instantly and everything feeling smooth. The hinge feels solid and well engineered, giving confidence when opening and closing the phone. Battery life has comfortably lasted me through a full day of normal use. Samsung has also refined the software experience, making great use of the foldable screen with useful multitasking features. Overall, this feels like the most polished Fold yet. It's expensive, but if you're looking for the best foldable experience available, it's easy to recommend.

                What an amazing phone! The form factor has reshaped my whole outlook on what a mobile phone can do. This is my first foldable device and to be honest, I've been reluctant to make the switch but boy am I glad I did. The cover display on its own is so useful, I find I use it for every day stuff like emails and answering messages. But when I want to do a bit more, I open the phone and use that amazing large screen. That hinge mechanism is a thing of beauty! Battery life has been solid and is getting better each day as the phone optimises things. On my third charge I had about 35% left at the end of the day. Performance wise, the responsiveness of the display and OneUI is so slick and speedy. Awesome. My one remaining question mark is over durability but that will be answered in the time to come. The device certainly feels solid so I am expecting good things.

                Suits me nicely, moved over from Z flip 2 to 5 then to fold 8. This phone suits my large hands and I find the keys easy to use and it is truly responsive to touch. All in all a good choice.

                Love that i can see my Lightroom pictures on this screen. Which is also the best size for streaming tv and films. A good clear display. The battery time is longer than I expected. The keyboard layout on the unfolded screen is perfect. Love that there is no line on the display around the hinge. The responsiveness between small screen and open screen is seamless. 4/5 stars only because I would love this screen to be able to have a stylus.

                Loving the phone so far. I was scared of the size because I loved how small the flip 7 is and i changed to the fold 8 but the size is perfect folded and unfolded. I have small hands and i can still hold it comfortably in any mode. The phone is very responsive and quick. The graphics is good and the apps i use look good in both modes. So far it is durable, I have just been using it for a few days but it slipped from my hands once and it remained unscattered. The hinge looks solid and smooth, barely any crease when unfolded but i have never had any issues with the crease, i find it part of the package of having a foldable phone so it never bothered me both on the fold and even when i used the flip 7. The battery so far is fine. lasts the whole day even with every use. I got it in lavender and i love the colour (I am a big purple fan), I use clear cases because the colour deserves to be shown off and not covered up.

                The device was easy to set up and use straight out of the box. The dual screen is a game changer. I can now read attachments straight from email in full view and be more efficient with my time. The hinge seems very strong and does not impare any viewing on the main screen. The phone is compact and folded is smaller that me Galaxy S24 Ultra which is a plus, however, when unfolded provides a more substantial viewing screen.

                Got my new Lavender fold 8 this week to replace my Flip 6. Am really liking the size as can do most things when folded, the flip outer screen was too small for most things. When want to work, read or play games can open up and have fabulous viewing screen. Love that can pop things side by side so can work from 2 things at once. Can also put 3 up if needed which is useful. The hinge seems very smooth and sturdy so far. Battery lasts well and lots of features built in to help improve battery health, like delayed full charge overnight. Lots of options to protect from theft etc and lock access if snatched. Screen can be fully utilised by hiding the status bars and having swipe gestures instead. Camera has lots of new things to try out and can be used for more professional content in Raw setting. Generally I am very happy I upgraded to the new phone. At the moment shock proof cases are a bit limited which is definitely something I need. Am sure new things will become available soon. I think this affected great next step up from the flip series if want something a bit larger and more functional. Def a larger outlay but did get a good trade in on my older phone as well as some discounts.

                The Z Fold 8 is frankly stunning and a refreshing change it what was becoming a stale phone market. The format just works and feels perfect in your hand. Once you open up to the main screen something you don't notice, if you're looking for it, is the crease. The technology used to reduce the visibility and feel of the crease is a huge step forward, as is the anti reflective coating and brightness of the screen. Despite all that I keep switching back to the front screen and just smiling at it's perfection!

                Switching to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 has been an absolute game-changer, and it's easily my favorite foldable yet. While this isn't my first rodeo with a folding phone, my previous one seemed to be lacking compared to the Fold 8. I’m a massive fan of the new form factor—it’s wonderfully compact and comfortable to use when closed, but opening it up reveals a screen size that hits the absolute sweet spot for everyday media consumption and multitasking. The hinge feels exceptionally sturdy and well-engineered, opening and closing with a satisfying, solid snap that really inspires confidence in its durability. The system responsiveness is brilliantly snappy, keeping up effortlessly with everything without a single stutter. Plus, the cameras are wonderfully reliable, capturing decent, high-quality photos every single time. For my first Samsung foldable, this really delivers in what I want from a folding phone!

                I'm still getting to know my new Z8 phone (up to now i like the Z8). So far its been easy to swop everything over from old to new, and seems to have not missed any apps or personal data. At the moment the battery is lasting all day. I miss my smart pen which my S24 had which was very useful particularly if you have big hands and fingers. The size is very similar to the S24 when closed, display is bright and clear. Only longer use will determine the phones durability but the hinge is firm and opens and closes nicely which looks good for the Z8's longevity. The Z8 is 5G so I'm hoping it will react a bit quicker, I'm excited to use my new phone more and hoping to find and use any new added features compared to my old S24. I've not used any AI features/commands yet so can't really give a true rating. Regards Steve M.

                It is almost 7pm and today I have used tiktok, prime video, camera and WhatsApp throughout the day and my battery is at 77%. The display is really good, nice clean clear picture on both screens. Hinge is stiff but not too bad, enough to not accidentally open it Durability is good, feels like a good sturdy phone to use Responsiveness is exactly as you expect from a new phone. Upgraded from Samsung S23 and so happy I did. Though my S23 was still perfect, I watch tv a lot so this is better suited

                ive only had the phone 24 hours, but amazed at how light and thin it is. its very responsive and the displays on both the internal and external of the phone are unbelievably clear. i look to forward to seeing what sort of battery life i will get compared to my galaxy 23 Ultra. The storage uplift in the 2 phones has left me with space to spare.

                Absolutely in love with this phone! Foldables have gotten to the point where I can say they're worth the transition over to. I was already considering it with the Fold 7, but with this new Fold 8, the passport-like display is perfect for everyday use, and it's responsiveness is great too with the new snapdragon processor. I get that after a while, the crease will start to show, but with the new hinge the crease is significantly less noticeable than last gen.

                So far (I've only had the phone for 3 days) I have found the feel, weight and overall performance to be great. Still inputting passwords etc, but that is standard with all new phones. The display is very clear and the bonus was that the front screen can be used as an interactive screen. The battery life is an improvement on my old A53, the new display takes a bit of getting used to, but that again will come in time. So far a very good and durable phone.

                I am a 5 year long Z flip user, so took some time looking and researching this Z fold 8! I am so glad I saw the potential and future of this device. Unpacked it just got better and better. The look is outstanding, the feel divine. The switch was so smooth and quick. Great battery life over what I've had - but you do really need to buy an up to date magnetic charger for it. Now! It's durability is a time related issue, so all I can say is 'looking good so far'.

                it's without doubt the greatest phone I've ever had, the dimensions of the new shape make it extremely small and pocketable, it becomes a mini tablet and it's the proportions. I've always had fold phones but they never quite worked perfectly. I've still like them however, due to being great multitaskers but this is on a different level when it comes to productivity and how you use the phone whether vertically or in landscape and it is just an absolutely fantastic device, super light, a good battery, it's a brilliant all-rounder and I play a lot of SimCity so from that perspective it's perfect. I've also linked my gaming backbone controller which isn't the perfect fit as you need to open the screen slightly to allow it which is a bit of a shame. However, it's still a fantastic device and a brilliant all-rounder. I think next year Samsung shoulo consider making this a premium device or at least equal to the Ultra, it needs to sort the cameras out. I know this was the test case but you've now quickly learned that this is the popular one so fix the cameras and you are winning.

                Absolutely love this phone, it is a dream to use for everyday needs but also more demanding processes. It is beautiful to look at also. Highly recommend this phone!                 So far I'm loving it. Takes a while to get used to the inner screen but the display is amazing. Too early to comment on battery but so far seems way better than old flip 7. It also looks beautiful. Opening mechanism feels much more intuitive than flip.

                Wow just wow had slab phones all my life really wanted something different and the fold 8 hit the mark great screens good battery life put mine straight in a case as I can be heavy handed haven't had the phone long enough to comment on durability but feels sturdy hinge has a nice satisfying clunk when you open and close it new snapdragon chip makes this phone fly thrown everything at it from gaming to multitasking hasn't skipped a beat

                I have been using Samsung folds since the 5 one. This is a nice welcome addition to the line up. Take a bit of getting used to but again Samsung have pulled it off and it's great. The hinge is strong and durable and the crease you can hardly see at all. Display is great for watching films, YouTube gaming anything you need to do. It's so responsive too.

                The phone is light and compact so fits in your pockets perfectly but when opened out is like a mini tablet. The quality of the screen is great so perfect for watching shows and films whilst on the move. The battery seems to last really well. I even used power sharing and the battery still lasted better than my flip 8. I love the whole look and feel and the fact you change perspective on the front and inside is brilliant. I am soooo happy

                Dispay size is disieving along witb the overall thickness which is thinner overall than my last phone (S23 Ultra) when opened the hinge is seamless and the responsiveness of both the screens seems excellent the durability seems lkke it wouls last but to early to fully confirm along witht e battery but this is my thoughts everyone one has there prefernces not sure get into a store and try it i think you will be impressed

                the default 8 has very good camera quality the battery life is amazing on it it is very durable I've not experienced anything problems with the hinge it has very good response touch the display is very nice and I love The the display is very nice and I love the the display is very nice and I love The fact that it is small like a notebook but then can also be big like a Kindle or a tablet overall I'd recommend it any day 10 out of 10

                A beautiful phone. Very nice,thin and compact. Looks very sleek and professional. Its a head turner. Display is brilliant with and responsiveness is 10/10. Excellent battery life.

                Honestly, I'm really happy with it. It's so much lighter and slimmer than I expected. It fits in my pocket with no problem and is really comfortable to carry around all day. It just feels right in the hand. Definitely my favourite thing about the Fold8 so far.

                Absolutely loving it, the weight and size fits perfectly in my hands. The battery is brilliant and the display is vibrant and responsive. No hinge problems and seems very durable.

                Was given this as a present am delighted with the way it fits in my pocket and in my bag but heavier than I expected but when you open it the screen makes things easier to see

                It's a beautiful device and runs amazingly well. The new spring-loaded hinge is so satisfying; it feels like I'm opening it for the first time every time. The aspect ratio display is perfect. The inner screen feels a lot more sturdy and durable, which is always good, and the battery is noticeably better. Coming from the Z Fold 6, the jump from only two generations definitely feels like a massive leap for the better.

                The "Goldilocks" phone - not too big, not too small, just right. Not so techie it's too expensive, but also not missing anything you really need. Fits in your pocket but folds out to a perfect media consumption platform. Battery life is genuinely insane. Regularly finish the day with over 40% despite heavy usage. Software has a few minor imperfections but I'm sure updates will fix that over time.

                I've upgraded from the S24 Ultra and despite some initial reservations about the durability and form factor, I've been proven wrong and couldn't be happier with the device. This form factor feels like the way forward. Amazing display. I had some reservations about the 4:3 aspect ratio but every app I've used so far displays perfectly, and is fully responsive. Apps such as Strava definitely look better when the device is unfolded and in portrait orientation. Overall, the shorter form factor makes the decice way more portable. I would caveat this with I do prefer the font on my device quite small, I think if you prefer larger font sizes you may lose some screen real estate. Typing on the keyboard is also very comfortable. I've found I actually use the device closed more than I do unfolded. When I do unfold the device; it's fantastic for media consumption; YouTube, gaming, reading all 10/10 and I'm also pleased with the battery life, the fast charging tops up the battery quickly, this was another of my main worries moving from the S24 Ultra. When folding and unfolding the hinge and durability overall is surprisingly strong, to the point where the device also works with external wrap around controllers, such as the GameSir X-5 making this device a real powerhouse for game streaming.

                Love this new galaxy fold 8 its fantastic for size and durability is amazing graphic amazing the hinge is better designed the battery also is fantastic and when unfolding the size is impressive the response is fantastic the display is just what I need its my perfect PDA thanks Samsung.

                Amazing phone, size is perfect for use as a phone "closed" and also as a tablet "opened". Love everything about it. The device is exactly what I need. My only feedback would be to purchase an ultra thin case to protect it and ensure that the thinness of the phone is maintained because the thicker covers almost detract from the pleasure of having such an amazingly designed product.
