Why Refrigerator starts and stops frequently?

Last Update date : Oct 12. 2020

Steps to follow :

a). Clean the Condenser coils. Before cleaning the condenser coils, unplug the refrigerator to avoid a shock hazard. The condensor coils dissipate heat. If dust and debris accumulate around the coils, your refrigerator may not be able to cool properly, it may run continuously or it may stop completely as a result of an overheated compressor.

b). Check the Outlet Voltage.

c). Check the Condensor Fan.

d). Test the Compressor Relay.

e). Check the Overload Protector.

f). Check the Compressor Motor.

Note : Please read your user care manual before attempting any testing or checking.
