Verify charger and cable compatibility

Chargers and cables that look similar can still vary in quality and charging speed. To use your Galaxy Wearable device safely for a long time, it is recommended to use official Samsung chargers and charging cables that are designed to help maximise battery life for your specific device. Using unofficial accessories or chargers not specifically designed for mobile or wearable devices, such as a travel charger or standard charger, may damage your device or not charge properly.

Check the charger and charging port connection

Step 1. Disconnect the charging cable from both the power outlet and the cradle.

Step 2. Check the cradle’s charging port for debris, dust, or lint, and gently clean it if necessary. Then, reconnect the cable securely to both the outlet and the cradle to ensure proper charging.

Step 3. Test charging with a different official charger or power source, as a defective adaptor may cause issues.

Dust, lint, or debris stuck in the charging port is one of the most common reasons wired charging fails.
