Navigate to Apps screen > Tap Settings > Tap Notifications > Tap App icon badges > Tap the slider next to Show notifications > Tap On to activate it > Tap Home > Tap and hold the app icon

From a Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen.

Tap App icon badges.

Choose the desired badge style.

Note: Icon badges using numbers will show you how many notifications there are per app.

Tap the slider next to Show notifications.

Note: Show notifications will allow you to check your notifications at a glance when you touch and hold app icons.

Tap Home to return to the Home screen.

To view notifications, Tap and hold the app icon.

Note: An App Icon Badge is the orange dot that pops up on your app's icon when it receives a notification.
